Hire Sam. Your wedding (and your life) will be better because of her. We DIY-ed most of our wedding, but we really needed someone to coordinate the day-of, and I’m sooooo glad we entrusted Sam with that task. She started a few months out with a walk-through, which was our first time meeting her in person. I still can’t get over that within a few hours of meeting her, she had a document created with a total timeline of our wedding day, complete with tiny little details we had just casually mentioned during our meeting. Throughout the next few months we had numerous check-ins, where she basically became our brain (ours own brains were becoming increasingly useless as the day approached), listening to everything we needed and wanted, and offering suggestions in areas we hadn’t thought about. She sat in on a meeting with our DJ and helped to ensure everyone was on the same page. Even little things like responding to an email I would send with a minor thought with “received” is so appreciated at a time when you’ve got to communicate with so many vendors about so many different things. On the actual wedding day, Sam took command of all the details and made sure everyone was where they needed to be at the correct time. She even folded my pocket square for me! We had no phones and no watches on for the whole wedding, and it was so freeing. We could just sit back and enjoy our special day. Her assistant Alex was wonderful as well, and was very helpful for our wandering wedding parties when it came to ceremony time. Everything was executed flawlessly and that’s in no small part because of Sam. Hire her. You will thank me later.

Sam is an incredible asset to your wedding team! Minutes before our ceremony began, the weather changed and it started to downpour. That downpour quickly turned into a flood, rendering our entire venue unusable and forcing us to evacuate. As you can imagine, as the bride, I was completely overwhelmed, in shock and just about ready to cancel the wedding and tell our guests to head home. Sam and her assistant, Shannon, immediately went into crisis management mode. Sam was running through the rain to communicate with both myself and the vendors/guests, to keep everyone abreast with what was going on. She helped my mom find suitable alternatives for both the ceremony and reception, quickly booking a church and hotel conference room last minute. She proceeded to travel back and forth between the original venue and our new reception multiple times, helping vendors grab all their supplies to relocate, and picking up various things we left at the venue in the rush to get to the church for the new ceremony. Her assistant, Shannon, helped facilitate the new ceremony and make sure our wedding party/vendors knew what was going on, and how they should be entering since we swapped locations. I can’t imagine what our day would have looked like without these two. If you’re on the fence and considering either a full service planner or day of coordinator, please choose Sam. To call her amazing would simply be an understatement. She was a true professional and rocked it throughout some of the worst scenarios that a couple could possibly face on their wedding day.

Sam was absolutely incredible and made our wedding even more special than we could have ever imagined. Getting married out of our home state had my wife and I very nervous with all of the moving pieces and vendors to keep track of and in line. Sam assured us it would be no issue and she would be there with us every step of the way and boy did she deliver!!! Sam was extremely responsive and available and constantly went above and beyond to make sure we were ready for our big day. We had issues with our venue and certain vendors through out the process but no matter the situation, Sam stepped up and took care of everything. No matter what the issue, Sam was there to help. Without her help, we would have been lost throughout this process. Thank you so much for being there for us and getting us over the finish line. I would 100% recommend Sam to anyone in need of a wedding planner, she will not let you down!!!!

Sam is AMAZING! I thought I was going to do all the planning myself, but several months in, I was so stressed. We found Sam's website, and she provided the perfect service. She starts about 6 weeks before your wedding date. She'll do site visits to your venue, communicate with all your vendors, and generally bring down your stress levels. She knew all the right questions to ask, all the details we hadn't considered. Both on the day before, and on the day of the wedding, she was there every step of the way. She told us where to stand, when to walk. She even brought a broom with her to the park (Elizabeth Park) to sweep off the area before the ceremony. She had water bottles ready for me while we were taking pictures. I think she tried to stay in the background so she wasn't in any pictures, but if you needed her she was there in an instant. She actually dove under a table at the reception to avoid being in a photo! (We wouldn't have minded). I cannot express enough how wonderful she was. She has my highest recommendation.

Sam was unbelievable and booking her was the best thing we did for our wedding. Her day of coordination was completely seamless and her input and advice in the months before was invaluable! I honestly don't know how I would have got it all done if not for her timeline and reminders. She even took over the hotel room block coordination for us completely and helped connect us with a few vendors, which was so helpful as we are from out of town and didn't know who was good. She also came to the caterer tasting with us and helped us to think through so many questions I wouldn't have thought to ask. I did all of the decorations myself, but left it to Sam to set up on the day of. She and her assistants knocked it out of the park, and even used some of the decorations I had left over in ways I didn't have time to plan for. I actually forgot to think about the sweetheart table completely, but she made it look amazing. Seriously, if you are a DIY couple, Sam is the wedding planner for you! Thank you so much Sam!!

I cannot say enough good things about Sam. 3 months before my wedding day my original venue fell through. Sam was not technically hired to start helping me until the month before. I reached out to Sam in a panic, and she immediately jumped in to help me look for a new plan. She met me the following week to look at a new venue. Through every step of the process, she was extremely thorough, detail oriented, and responsive. I was a MESS on my wedding day, and she still managed to deal with me when even some of my bridesmaids couldn't. Not to mention the fact that the details she was in charge of setting up were executed FLAWLESSLY. I would not recommend anyone else for a wedding coordinator, Sam was truly the savior of my whole wedding!

Sam was one of the first vendors we booked back in 2021 for our 2023 wedding. My husband and I both agree she was the easiest and best choice we made during the process. While we had a long time to plan everything, Sam kept us on track with reminders and check ins. She answered all of our many questions, helped us with anything we needed and provided referrals when we were having a hard time finding vendors on our own. When the year of/month of our wedding hit and it felt like crunch time, she kept us calm and reminded us that we were on track. The month of the wedding, she followed up with all of our vendors (even our dog attendant!) and made sure everything was on schedule, had the timeline sent to them and that they were ready to go for our day. She did a walk-through of the venue with us and made sure she understood our vision and where to put things on the day of the wedding. When I found out the week of the wedding it was going to rain, and was preparing to shift my whole view of the wedding, Sam did what she could to ease my mind, assist in having our dog still be allowed at the ceremony, and walked through the secondary plan for us at the rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, she was an angel in disguise. I don't think I worried about a thing during our wedding and she assisted with all the little things. The day literally went by without a hitch and I honestly believe it was due to Sam’s diligence, patience and understanding of our vision. She was the MVP of our whole wedding planning experience, and she will be for you if you hire her and her team.

Both my mom and my now husband were not convinced that we needed a month of coordinator- the first time they communicated with Sam their minds were quickly changed. Sam went so far above and beyond her basic responsibilities to give me my perfect day. She joined me for a dress fitting so I wouldn’t have to attend alone since my family live way out of state. For the few weeks before the wedding, she was hard at work on the timeline and communicating with vendors. She kept all the stress away from me and the day went off without any issues all thanks to her. When little things came up throughout the day like having to move photos fully inside because of weather and some miscommunications on my end with family members, she immediately took the lead and ensured I didn’t have to lift a finger. By the end of the wedding day, everyone in my family and in the wedding party kept saying how amazing Sam was and how much we could enjoy the day because we knew she had everything covered. I cannot recommend Sam enough- hire her and your wedding will also be a dream come true!

She was very helpful, punctual, and professional. All her hard work of decorating, talking with the vendors, and making sure everything was on schedule the day of, was a relief us. It was amazing that we were able to relax before the ceremony knowing that Sam was taking care of everything. We wouldn't have been able to have our wedding without her! She was worth every penny and more!

Sam was amazing to work with. She gave us suggestions I hadn't even thought of. I had been to several friends weddings and noticed that everyone was coming to them with small insignificant problems and I decided I did not want that to happen to me. This is the number 1 reason why I decided to do a day of coordinator. I was not bothered by anything on our wedding day and when I needed anything Sam was there to help. Our wedding day ran seamlessly. She also does the month prior and really really helped us coordinate with our vendors. I even had a last minute hair emergency and she was able to find me a new hairstylist for my wedding hair with only 3 days to my wedding . Sam is 100% worth the money. Book her you will not regret it!!!!

We were SO LUCKY to have found Rose Rocc for our day of the event wedding coordinator. Sam was there from beginning to end… from setting up the 100s of items of décor, making sure everything ran smoothly with our vendors to breaking things down at the end of the night (which didn’t end until midnight). Sam’s attention to detail, sweet personality, and willingness to go out of her way makes Rose Rocc the PERFECT choice for a wedding planner / event coordinator (not to mention her pricing is VERY reasonable!!) We couldn’t have had the wedding of our dreams without Rose Rocc! Thank you Sam… you’re AWESOME and it was a pleasure working with you!!! A++++

I can not say enough good things about Sam. She made the night run like clockwork, I didn’t have to worry about anything that night except enjoying every moment. She is so sweet and so personable. She made sure to check in with me periodically throughout the entire planning process. She has a gift for this type of business. I would use her again and I’d recommend her to anyone in need of anything planned.

I cannot say enough good things about Sam and her crew at Rose Rocc Weddings. She made our day, and the lead up to it so incredibly seamless and perfect. Not only did she ensure everything went off without a hitch, but we were able to enjoy our day without worrying about a single detail. Sam Roccapriore, of Rose Rocc Wedding and Events out of Wallingford, was my wedding day lifesaver starting from the moment I signed with her, almost a year and a half before our wedding. I could text her at any time of day with what I thought was a huge problem, and she would respond back immediately with a simple solution for everything. She knows the industry incredibly well!! Before our wedding day, I had already put so much trust in her because of the way she handled every single detail leading up to our special day. During our venue walkthrough shortly before the wedding, she made sure to get all of the details sorted out and gave us clear and reasonable expectations and responsibilities to handle before our wedding day. This put my anxiety at ease. The funniest part of this is when I told my now husband that I was considering hiring Sam for our wedding day, he told me that we didn't need a coordinator and that it was a waste of money. After our venue walkthrough with her and again after our wedding day, he just kept telling me how thankful he was that we hired her. And it was the truth. I don't know how we could have done it without her. Our wedding venue only included the building/grounds, so we had to pull in all of our own vendors (table/chair rentals/caterer, DJ, etc). I was extremely nervous when making such huge decisions, but Sam helped me ask all the right questions and allowed me to feel confident with my choices in vendors. Sam arrived to our venue on the wedding day and set EVERYTHING up with the help of her assistant. When I walked into that barn during my wedding, my jaw dropped. I couldn't believe she made my fairytale barn wedding dream come to life! She was just incredible. Thank you Sam for taking care of everything and putting my mind at ease for these last 12+ months!! It was the best day of our lives, and we owe so much of that to you!

Sam was truly the best month of coordinator that we could have asked for! She went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran smoothly from the beginning of panning, all the way to the day of the event. Sam was always on top of every detail and thought of things we needed before we had even realized we needed them. On the day of our wedding, Sam was there to help everything run smoothly and made sure we had water, were fed, and had time to ourselves during our wedding, which we really appreciated. She even made sure we arrived at each venue in our classic car safely by driving behind us like our personal secret service. We cannot say enough good things about Rose Rocc Weddings - Sam was incredible!

As a DIY bride I thought I could do it all- but then I quickly realized that in fact, I could not! This is where Sam comes in, the owner of Rose Rocc Weddings & Events. We hired Sam for month/day of coordination and all I can say is thank goodness we did! She helped put together our wedding timeline and coordinated all of our vendors. Details I missed, she was on top of asking and making sure we got it handled. She was professional, organized, and exceptionally detailed. I did not worry about one thing on my wedding day because Sam was handling it seamlessly! I walked into our reception and loved every little detail she did, like repurposing all the ceremony candles and decorating our sweetheart table. I absolutely loved working with her, she is someone who hears your vision and makes it come to life. Not to mention one of the nicest, sweetest people you will ever meet! She deserves all the recognition in the world! I highly recommend hiring Sam- you will not be disappointed, you will be in awe of everything she does! Sam was an exceptional coordinator. She helped us with the month-of and day-of coordination. We had a lot of insecurities and questions prior to her helping us, including a lot of needed organization for our ceremony. We were extremely comfortable with our plans after just our first meeting and she was extremely helpful in scheduling and sequencing the ceremony. Sam was excellent in her way with working with us and others. She had a great way of being able to listen to our concerns / answer our questions but also be able to provide knowledgable polite suggestions, guidance and recommendations based on our thoughts. It was a great mix of letting us decide what we wanted and direction, without ever feeling like we were being "yessed" or convinced in a direction that we didn't want to go, all while feeling assured in our choices after discussing with her. She made our wedding day stress free. We had prepared a lot of items and decorations. In the months preparing for your wedding you envision placing the items and decorating the tables yourself. However, there are many other items to focus on on your wedding day like getting yourself ready, and you dont spend much time decorating or setting up. With a little discussion, Sam executed our vision perfectly. She worked hard with her helper the whole day to make sure everything went smooth with a consitent positive attitude. She was the last one working at the end of the night to make sure everything wrapped well and even made sure all our decorations were repacked into our bins to make our morning easy with our early check out time. We cannot reccomend working with Sam enough!

Sam was such an important part of our day and I am so glad we hired her! Our venue was falling short on our expectations, so we hired Sam as our month of/day of coordinator and she exceeded my expectations. She was always so quick to respond with any questions or concerns that we had about our big day, and was always able to put my mind at ease. Sam truly helped make our day run smoothly by coordinating with our vendors, helping set all of our décor up exactly as we had envisioned, and packing everything up for us at the end of the night. Even my family is raving about how helpful Sam was and how she worked her butt off to make the day perfect for us. Sam, we can't thank you enough for everything!!

We cannot recommend Rose Rocc (owned by Sam) enough. Sam's eye for detail and vast experience in the industry made her an absolutely key asset to our big day. Prior to the wedding weekend, she did a site visit and had some very helpful recommendations on how to ensure the rehearsal and then wedding itself flowed smoothly. She came to the rehearsal and then was with us the entire day of the wedding. She took on aspects of the wedding that no couple should worry about on their big day: welcoming vendors, paying/tipping vendors, adhering to the schedule, moving gifts, etc. When my mom and several other guests could not figure out how to bustle my dress, Sam swooped in. Without Sam, our wedding wouldn't have been the truly perfect event it turned out to be. The weekend flowed so well thanks to Sam's behind the scenes work. She was a fun, calm, and encouraging presence, and her services are invaluable. As I said to several guests the day of, everyone needs Sam at their wedding.

My experience with Rose Rocc Wedding & Events was amazing! I hired Sam for the day of coordination service after I had planned on taking care of everything myself, and then realized I was in over my head! Sam was there the whole month before the wedding for anything I needed! I could ask her unlimited questions and meet up for anything I needed. She was so helpful in finishing my planning process, and she took care of EVERYTHING on the day of! I had zero worries on my wedding day because Sam had thought of everything! She had reached out to all of my vendors, made a day of time line, took care of the wedding rehearsal, set up all of my decorations, helped with last minute issues, was present for the whole wedding and rehearsal for anything we needed, and took care of all of the breakdown after the reception!!! Our wedding was so memorable and fun, and it wouldn't have been possible with out Sam!

The best decision I made on my wedding day was marrying my wife, but the second best decision was hiring Sam. I sincerely mean it when I say Sam made.the.night.happen. She is both personable and professional, with a crystal clear understanding of the small and big logistical details that go on behind the scenes to make a night magical. She had such a sound understanding of the timing of different events that our wedding party were beginning to wonder if she had secretly placed trackers on everyone - Sam has a sixth sense to know when people need to be where and how to get them there! My wife and I are quite frugal, and originally were not planning on having a day of coordinator. Now after the fact, we cannot envision the night having gone off as perfectly as it did without Sam - she is an integral fixture in our memory of the night, and allowed us to really enjoy the moment. We HIGHLY recommend Sam for any of your event needs - she is absolute dynamite! Thank you, Sam, for everything.

Rose Rocc Wedding & Events was amazing to work with! I was nervous to plan a DIY wedding, and didn’t have a clue where to begin. With the support and planning brilliance from Sam, we created a wedding that we will never forget! After meeting with my husband and I, Sam nailed the perfect venue that fit both of our styles, wants and needs. She helped us create a wedding budget, but more importantly she helped us stick to it. Sam had a keene eye for our event space, and knew the rustic look we envisioned. With her guidance and personal touches, we were able to create the decor and layout for our big day, and I’m still swooning over how great it was. Sam helped us lock in amazing vendors, and supported our communication with the them right through our wedding day. Sam was very clear and open with her communication, and was available to answer my panicked questions whenever I needed her. Planning a wedding through COVID, rose a ton a panicked questions! Sam was by our side the day before and day of (and everyday before that,) making sure everything went off without a hitch. If there was a hitch, she was sure that we never knew about it! Everyone warns the bride about all the stress that comes with wedding planning, but thanks to Sam I never had to feel stressed. We had the help and support from Sam throughout our months of wedding planning, and the entire time it was like working with a friend. I would highly recommend Rose Rocc Weddings & Events for any and all of your DIY planning!
