Rose to the Occasions

Rose is the absolute best event coordinator. There are no details that go missed with her. She is on top of all the small details that are overlooked or not usually considered. I was able to breathe easy knowing that all details and coordination was handled leading up to my event and the day of coordinating was amazing. She makes every event stress free. The host is fully able to engage and be stress free. I will use her for all of my future events big or small.

Rose was unattentive, incompetent, disorganized, rude, confrontational, and uncommunicative. I hired her to coordinate my wedding that I had planned. She had three months to coordinate all the moving parts, which seemed to be overwhelming for her from day 1. The first red flag was when communication began breaking down from the second our three-month period began. I completely understand I am not a full-service client (as I was reminded), but my contract did stipulate check-ins and open communication from that point, which was a constant issue, and started shaking my trust in the process and the ability for Rose to execute the wedding events. I was very understanding of the personal difficulties she was experiencing, and we had some very great phone conversations where I exchanged constructive ideas on how we could improve our communication so we could repair this feeling of concern that things were not getting done, such as daily check-ins, more prompt responses to emails, and making sure the vendors did not need to email me for answers by staying on top of their emails (as I had been receiving many emails with questions about things I was told by Rose had been handled). The lack of communication between us was not repaired, and the suggestions and requests I had made (which she had agreed to happily) were not implemented. The breakdown in communication continued as we never were able to get on the same page about how to productively communicate important information to the guests about transportation, weather, and other important details relevant to the day. Guest were confused the entire weekend. Emails were sent out to guests without my final approval on wording, which were confusing and had grammatical errors, displaying a lack of organization. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were also confused about their roles and timeline, as they originally were sent emails with just a timetable from an email address they didn't know without any introduction or explanation. At the rehearsal for the ceremony, she yelled at me, the bride, as well as members of the bridal party in ways that were very upsetting for all involved and made me feel uncomfortable at my own rehearsal. At the rehearsal dinner that evening I could not find Rose whenever I needed her. At the wedding the level of disorganization was so upsetting. I barely saw Rose and had to constantly track down and beg an assistant to stay with us and help make sure things were running on time. At one point I could not find Rose, and she was getting a makeup touch-up from my makeup artist. No one supervised the timeline for the event at all and every time we needed to find Rose she was nowhere to be found. Her assistants didn't have any of the information they needed regarding the event, as they were unable to answer our questions or assist us with small tasks without trying to consult Rose for answers. The efficiency and professionalism of her team was greatly lacking, and they lacked the experience of working together to operate smoothly as a team, which left room for error and made us run behind on our timeline. Because no one was managing the timing of things up at the bridal suites, we missed groomsmen photos, and my husband missed taking photos with my family. During the reception her team forgot to prompt the speeches and first dances and I had to remind them, which was stressful and disorganized. I strongly do not recommend Rose.

We hired Rose as a month of coordinator, and we felt like she was very responsive during the days leading up to the wedding! We didn't live in SLO, so it was great to have her there to do venue walk throughs, be there for rental deliveries, etc. We also liked how connected she seemed to be with the SLO wedding industry. It was nice to have someone that had worked with most of our vendors beforehand. Rose and her team worked hard and did their best on the day of, and we appreciate that our day was stress-free on our end as the bride and groom!

I spoke with Rose via video call to inquire about her day of coordination services for my November 2022 wedding. Felt so great about Rose from the start! She offered a few (free) solid tips that ended up benefitting me on my wedding day, and I felt solid about working with Rose for my wedding coordination needs. We hired her for day of planning but Rose and I started working together about 3 months out. Checking in here and there and staying in touch. She was accessible and responsive, and always so professional, kind and cheerful! In the weeks leading up to my wedding she scheduled weekly check in calls to make sure things were running smooth and she always started by asking how I was doing/feeling. She never made me feel guilty about emails, calls or texts as we kept in touch and always reassured me that she was available for whatever I needed. Handing everything off to her starting the night of rehearsal was seamless and the day of my wedding I needn't worry about anything. My sister handled some of the need to knows for Rose and from there, Rose had everything under control. I could let go and focus on only where I was and what I needed to be doing. I felt so confident in Rose and trusted her timing and decision making. Exactly what a bride needs on her wedding day! Rose feels like a friend and at the end of the night felt like family! She is cheerful, thoughtful, friendly and fun. I even spotted her a few times dancing with us and our family and friends while the live band played - I loved that! At the end of the night, Rose bundled all the florals from our bud vase arrangements and passed them out to guests, made sure gifts and the like made it back to my room, and cleared the room so we were out on time. If you have any reservations about hiring Rose, don't worry! She's got you and she will make it fun along the way. If you allow yourself to give up the reigns, she will make sure you spend your day focusing on making your wedding day enjoyable, memorable and fun!

I absolutely cannot say enough great things about Rose and her team! Obviously planning a wedding is incredibly stressful but Rose and her expertise diffused that stress at every point. She is caring, extremely professional and took so much off our plates so we could actually enjoy our day. She has a solution for every issue we encountered and is very communicative with a “no question is a dumb question” attitude. I would get married again just to hire her. She’s the best!

We loved having Rose as our coordinator, she took the stress out of the last few weeks of planning, and allowed us to relax. Rose and her assistant went above and beyond on the day to make sure we were taken care of and the day went smoothly.

I was just married September 4th, and it was everything I wanted and more! Rose and her assistant went above and beyond.. anywhere from getting chairs that were very last minute to helping me find our amazing officiant! I would 100 recommend booking her for YOUR wedding!

This little space is nowhere near enough to say how thankful we are for Rose and all that she did for our special day! From her assistance leading up to it, providing clarity when needed and always guiding us in the right direction when getting too far into our heads. Her services the night of our rehearsal, Listening to our ideals and creating a plan based on all the information provided while mind you have to deal with our family and friends. Then to really blow if out of the park by taking our dreams and turning them into something beyond what we even imagined reality. She and her team took our ideas and thoughts and pieced them all together to give us what was truly an unforgettable evening with Loved ones. We will forever and always be grateful for Rose and Rose to the Occasion for giving us this gift on what truly was the most special day of our lives.

Rose was fantastic! She helped make our dream wedding come to life. From start to finish Rose was there to help me with every little detail that went into our big day. Zoom calls, to emails to in person she never missed a beat. She handled situations with other vendors with such ease and she made all my wedding anxiety melt away. Rose was an absolute joy to work with! She's responsive, kind and overall just fun! She totally understood my vision and helped us achieve an unforgettable day. She also had great connections to local vendors which was awesome as I wanted to make sure I was using vendors in my immediate area. The day of was executed flawlessly and the timing got everything done when we planned. Weddings should be stress free and Rose helped us achieve that. I would highly recommend her!

Rose worked on our weddings as wedding planer and she did a fantastic job. We only had 6 weeks to plan and execute all the wedding ideas, luckily we have our own wedding venue on our ranch - "Norgrove Gardens Vineyard" located in Arroyo Grande, so we did not have to stress on the wedding location. Rose was very efficient, resourceful, communicate well, she found most of the vendors within the short time frame and assisted us to coordinate with the major vendors such as caterer, florist and DJ while we did other part of planning & timeline ourselves. She is flexible to accomodate our specific needs and always ready to make valuable suggestions to make things work better and smoother, she also works with us within the budget, which is very hard to control when it comes to a "once in a life event" we tend to go over the budget on various things, I am so glad that we hired her service and it made our wedding day an easy breeze with much less stress and more fun of "enjoying the moment"!
