The Lath Pavilion (a contemporary structure reminiscent of a Victorian conservatory) is perfect for any size event. The adjacent historical architecture, rose garden and lush grounds are perfect backdrops with the Phoenix skyline, mixing old and new.
The Rosson House Museum (built in 1895) which features a wrap-around front porch and restored Victorian interior is perfect for a small, intimate affair.

This venue was SO gorgeous and so extremely cost effective. Hit all our checkboxes of being outside, large guest capacity, and in budget. And was STUNNING! Only downside is that it is a LOT of work to organize the rentals and decor, but we had a lot of help from friends and family with that.
It was super important for us to get married in downtown Phoenix, and Heritage Square was perfect. We chose the Lath Pavilion, which, despite being only partially shaded, was totally tolerable even at the end of September. They were truly wonderful to work with; Shannon was very responsive, accommodating, friendly, and professional. A huge bonus was that they let us choose our own vendors, which allowed us to personalize our wedding AND save money! The venue was absolutely beautiful on the day of the wedding without a ton of extra decorating; we kept it simple and it still looked great. The venue also allowed for really great photo backdrops within walking distance. Overall, it was absolutely perfect and we are so happy we chose Heritage Square.
This venue was picture perfect! It's located in the middle of downtown Phoenix, but it feels like you are back in town with the surrounding Victorian style homes. The venue coordinator was lovely to work with, and we were allowed to bring in all our own vendors. We got married in off season for Phoenix, so we got a deal on the venue price. Jerry, the on-site contact for the day, was so helpful and made sure the venue was safe for all our guests. The space was huge and we had access to an air conditioned prep kitchen and nice restrooms. I'm so excited to see all of our photos because there were many beautiful spots to get them taken (a secluded garden, the Rosson house itself, the barn-style restaurant, inside the pavilion, etc.). I would recommend the venue to anyone looking to have an urban and vintage feeling wedding. You really can't beat the price for the location!
I'm so happy we had our wedding here. They were amazingly flexible and pretty much allowed us to do anything we wanted (within logical reason, like no open flame in a historic wooden structure). We were able to have a food truck cater it, have our own vendors, and make it so personal. It'ss a very DIY (make sure you have a good vendor team or wedding party) since it's just the space. Samantha was great the whole time and very thorough with making sure we were arranging what we needed (liquor license and sound permit, and off-duty officer since we were serving alcohol) with appropriate time. It was easy and beautiful and everything we envisioned.
