About this vendor
Where your stories become historic...
Roswell Mill is a unique and cherished piece of Southern history. Originally built by Roswell King, it was destroyed in the Civil War and rebuilt in 1882. We are proud to have been a part of bringing the Mill back to life in 1991 as a special events facility.
The Roswell Mill Club is an upscale, sophisticated venue that is perfect for the most important celebrations. The site features crystal chandeliers, champagne and white linens, elegant gold chiavari chairs, and a covered, private deck that overlooks the river. The ballroom has a stunning antique bar, and is decorated with a mix of modern and traditional fixtures. This 120-year-old restored mill is completed with hardwood floors, ten-foot-high windows, and a stunning view.
The wonderful food and beverage is provided by our own in-house company, Events Catering. We offer a range of food options and are happy to create a menu just for you! We host client receptions throughout the year so that you may experience our food and service, meet our senior staff, and ask questions before you pick your menu.
An Account Manager will be assigned to help with all details. This is your go-to planning person – they will help in finding and scheduling all vendors, making a timeline for the day of, putting together your floor plan, menu choices, and much more. Eliminating the need for an outside planner or Day-of Coordinator!
The Roswell Mill is full of history, and it can be the perfect place for you to begin making your own!

Margaret and the team at Roswell Mill Club were the absolute best! We toured many venues in both Fort Lauderdale and Atlanta, but we knew immediately that RMC was the choice for us and they delivered tenfold. Not only is the venue stunning, but the staff was so warm and just happy to be apart of our big day. I was visibly nervous before the big walk, but Margaret was so in sync with me, she put me at ease instantaneously. If you choose RMC, I promise you won't regret it!
I'm the bride of the Oct 25th, 2024 wedding at RMC, and I'm writing this review as soon as we come back from our honeymoon; because we truly appreciate everyone at RMC's effort in making our big day unforgettable, stress-free, and dreamy!!
It's not just the big day though, it's the whole package - starting from the venue tours, to the payment process, to our countless email exchanges, and planning meetings (we did not hire a planner, I did most of the wedding planning XD) -- for the past whole year, every interaction was smooth, effective, and prompt in response.
A huge shout-out to Margaret, she is the best of the best! I probably sent her 30+ emails with tons of questions, and she answered all of them promptly and professionally.
Also a big thanks to Colleen, our wedding coordinator, she made sure all wedding parties knew what they needed to know, and was able to make quick adjustments during rehearsal and on the day of.
The other RMC staff are all amazing: they set up our decors and favors with precision and even made them artsy. My event caption basically saved me from "passing out" during my own wedding because I was under stress + I did not eat for a whole day AND drink a strong cocktail (what NOT to do during your wedding day, people!) And if anyone from RMC reads this, please help me say a big thank you to him!!
I also would like to talk about the food - food got a lot of compliments!! They have such a great variety for us to choose from!
Our bartender was amazing as well, he made our signature cocktails so well that many people tried all of them and went for 2nd, 3rds...
Lastly, the venue itself - soooo pretty inside and outside, and it's the perfect combination of location and beautiful scenery!
Overall, it was one of the best decisions we'd made for our wedding!!!
Everything was handled very smoothly by a very friendly, prompt, and professional staff. Once the decisions were made, I didnt need to lift a finger.
Any questions?
They were super helpful and worked with us throughout the whole planning process. Everyone loved the food and we really liked that they had a tasting reception that we could attend with other couples. Jacob and Margaret are soo nice! They were very professional and did a great job making our day the way we wanted it. Highly recommend!
10/10! We had a beautiful ceremony overlooking this amazing scenic fall backdrop. Everything was included in the price - ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, as well as an open bar stocked with really good selections. The event coordinator, Linda, was easy to work with and kept in constant communication all throughout the process, as well as Jacob, the ceremony coordinator. Once we gave them all of the vendor information, they took over and made sure everything was handled. We really felt like the guests of honor and not hosts. Our guests commented about the quality of the food and how good it was. Some even commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended because of how easy the day flowed making it a relaxing and fun experience. That was due to the staff and their planning, making it so smooth in transitioning from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception. There was never a feeling of being rushed or to stay on schedule - it was a perfect day. The RMC staff was phenomenal! I can't give enough praise for the venue and its staff, especially Linda and Jacob!
We enjoyed working with Jacob who made it seamless. Everything was great and our guests loved it.
The Roswell Mill Club was hands down the prettiest venue we saw when we first got engaged and they turned out to be THE BEST VENDOR! Jacob Jones was our ceremony coordinator and he was so organized. SO efficient with the rehearsal, and answered all of our 100 thousand questions about the day of logistics. Linda Petsis was our event coordinator and she answered countless emails about vendors, decorations, and day-of details, and I would've lost my mind without their help! Everyone always says you need a wedding planner, or at least a day of coordinator, and these two made sure everything went smoothly the day of, and the days leading up to the wedding!
Several wedding guests on both sides have told us how GORGEOUS the wedding was and how smoothly everything ran, and I 100% attribute that to Jacob and Linda. Also want to give a special shout-out to Leonard, our event captain! He was the person who made our plates for dinner and I was worried about this because how does the person know how much food I want? I spoke with him before the ceremony and explained I want more pasta than anything else and he filled AN ENTIRE PLATE with the pasta! He understood the assignment and it was my favorite part about dinner! My mom told me several times how he also made sure she always had a drink, and he made her feel just as special as the bride and groom!
The food was the most delicious food I've had at a wedding, several guests commented about how incredible it was! They packed us several to-go containers at the end of the night and that was helpful to have in the few days before our honeymoon! I would give the Roswell Mill Club and Events Catering 6 stars if I could; they were super helpful and made our wedding day just PERFECT!

We held our daughter’s wedding at the Roswell Mill Club. They were attentive to all our questions and concerns. Their professional approach was greatly appreciated. They delivered 100% everything they promised. Margaret was wonderful to work with! We would highly recommend this venue!
They were amazing to work with. They were very professional and thought of all the things you needed to think through. It was a stressless experience as the bride. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone thinking of using Rowell Mill Club.
We are SO happy with our wedding at the Roswell Mill Club! The venue is absolutely beautiful and didn’t make our wedding of 105 people feel small. Our ceremony coordinator, Jacob, was so communicative and even helped my bridal party with my bustle on my dress before the reception! Our event planner, Linda, was also wonderful and answered every question I had, big and small. Everyone raved about the food, the coffee (which I thought was funny), and the bar service. As the bride and groom, our plates were never empty and we always had a drink in our end. Thank you, RMC, for providing the wedding of our dreams!
One of the best decisions we made was moving forward with the team at Roswell Mill Club to take care of our wedding ceremony and reception. As a very type-A person, I could that every detail of wedding planning was already starting to weigh heavily on me and that I would not be able to enjoy my engagement—I would just have my nose in a spreadsheet for a year. When we initially met with the team at RMC, it almost felt like a physical weight had been lifted. Hearing of every detail that the RMC team would handle, take care of, and plan, was such a relief.
Linda was our coordinator for all of the days leading up to the wedding, and she was so ready to field any and all of my nit-picky questions and details I continuously threw her way all year. With no hesitation, Linda ALWAYS emailed me back quickly and answered my questions seamlessly, with kindness and efficiency (a Type A person's dream). Knowledgeable, efficient, kind, understanding, and a lovely sense of humor to boot. I was lucky to have her in my corner! Not to mention, she and her team took care of 90% of our day-of setup that had me stressed ("who will put out my guest book?" etc.), which left my family with zero stress before the wedding. Linda's offering to do that for us lifted a MASSIVE weight from me!
Closer to the wedding, we met Jacob, our ceremony coordinator. Jacob was SO efficient and knowledgeable in all that goes into running the ceremony and rehearsal, and he took all of our last minute changes and unique needs in stride. If I knew Jacob was handling it, I knew I could let my stress go because it was in good hands. Even on the day of the wedding, I hastily handed over our wedding rings to him from a car window to place somewhere safe before the ceremony, because I knew he would do what needed to be done for us. And without fail, as the ceremony came, there the rings were—right where they were supposed to be at the right time.
Deb was the event captain for our reception, and what a blessing she was to us and our family. If anyone came up to me to ask anything, I just said "Go ask Deb!" and Deb solved the issue for us multiple times over. She was always there to receive any last minute need or question and I cannot thank her enough for her organization, calmness when I needed it, and overall kind demeanor.
As far as the venue itself, and the food! The food is fantastic. We loved having so many options to choose from when we picked our appetizer and dinner selections and we got so many compliments (especially on the nacho martini bar option)! The full bar was well stocked and the bartenders were so kind and quick. Deb packed up a to-go bag for us with a ton of the food to eat at the hotel, which was also SO fun.
The venue was everything we wanted. A blend of gold celebratory glam in the chairs and chandeliers, mixed with the industrial historic nature found just outside the venue at the Mill park. One of the selling points for me was having this nature-meets-industry feel in our pre-ceremony photos at the park, followed by a glorious garden party-style evening during the reception. Also, the benefit of having a covered deck for a ceremony means no need for a rain plan!
We have nothing but great things to say about my experience at Roswell Mill Club and I attribute the zero stress on my wedding day to the venue team. Thank you all for making our day seamless and so much fun. Our big day will continue to live on in photos, and fondly in my memory. Thank you!!
Having our wedding at RMC and working with Events Catering was hands down the best decision we made in the wedding planning process! They gave great recommendations for all the other vendors we used including flowers, cake, DJ, and Hotels. They made the rest of the planning process a dream! The convenience and ease of having an "Day of" Captain really helped us enjoy our night. We were able to enjoy our dinner with our guests and always had a drink in our hands! Our guests were raving about the food all night! The night went so smooth and we had an incredible night we won't forget. I cannot say enough great things about the folks at Roswell Mill Club & Events Catering!
We looked at three venues and chose The Roswell Mill Club for the rehearsal dinner. The setting is beautiful and Margaret and her entire staff are the ultimate professionals - so helpful and easy to work with!
My husband and I got married at RMC in October. tThe process could not have been any more perfect than it was. The venue provides an event coordinator and a day of coordinator. Both were an absolute joy to work with and so knowledgeable about to make things exactly what I wanted - even the things that I wanted to do a little different than traditionally.
The food was surprisingly good; I’m always hesitant with catering buffets but everything was the right temperature and we got compliments from multiple guests about multiple different items on the menu!
The banquet space is a great size; I was worried the dance floor would be too small but it was great for our 150 people. I absolutely would not have changed a single thing about our wedding day and would 100% use RMC again.
Roswell Mill Club exceeded every expectation we could have ever had! They were always helpful through email and by phone. They dealt with my sweet dad and his large requests on wine choices. We thought the food choices were great, and so many of our guests still comment on how good our food and service was! They sent us home with food for my husband and I which we definitely needed after a fun reception. I even had some of my cake which I didn't get to eat at the wedding. They worked so well with our vendors. Everything was so seamless from start to finish. I feel like we found such an amazing place for our reception. Highly recommend! Margaret was so helpful to us and we are so thankful!
I don’t have enough good things to say about RMC and Margaret, my day of coordinator! I was a covid bride who was supposed to get married in May! RMC was very accommodating to helping us find a new date & we were blessed to be able to get married in July! Due to the global pandemic, our wedding numbers were far different than what we expected them to be precovid and RMC helped accommodate & work with us! The reception was everything I envisioned and more! I was very specific with what I wanted the head table to look like, bar to look like, cake table to look like, what decor pieces went where & more! Margaret was soo patient and paid attention to every detail I wanted & ultimately made my envisions come to life perfectly!! The bartenders and cooks were top notch as well! Roswell Mill Club will forever have a special place in our hearts & words can’t express our gratitude for making our day possible during a global pandemic!!
Communication was very clear and everything was ready the day of our wedding. We didn't have to worry about anything. Food was great too!
This venue is amazing! Not only did we not have to decorate too much because of the natural beauty, but the food was fantastic! The service was top notch and I was always able to get in touch with someone for my questions. I highly recommend RMC!
My husband and I got married at RMC back in October. They were an absolute joy to work with and made my life so easy during the planning process. April sent me a contact with all the information and due dates for payments. Linda was our account manager and answered any questions I had. She also met with us and planned our reception and did the timeline for the event. Margaret was our ceremony planner and met with us to plan the ceremony. She was there on the wedding day and helped the ceremony to run smoothly. We were handed off to the banquet captain during the reception and she kept track of the time for all the events. We did not have to worry about anything and were able to enjoy every minute. The food was delicious! We were able to pick the food off a menu and could mix and match as we desired. The day turned out perfect and just the way I had dreamed. We got so many compliments during the event and are still getting compliments today. We highly recommend Roswell Mill Club.
Booking the Roswell Mill Club was THE BEST decision we made through the wedding planning process. The team was responsive and helpful. They had a game plan for every piece of the day but also incorporated your personal touches as requested. The planning process and the whole day ran smoothly thanks to their hard work and dedication. We toured a couple of other venues, but no one else conveyed the same sense of capability as the RMC staff. The site is also beautiful in its own right and required very little decoration to make it "wedding-ready," which was perfect for us since most of our guests were coming from out of town and we didn't have lots of DIY help nearby. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough for anyone's special day!
I looked at a few places for my June 2019 wedding, but none compared to Roswell Mill Club. From the very first visit to our ceremony and reception, everything was perfect! I had no idea how crazy weddings are to plan, but April and her staff are the best in the business and helped myself, along with my (now) husband, and parents from start to finish (and calmed our nerves). I had certain dietary restrictions and they accommodated them with ease (and the food was great, even though I ate it from the doggy bag they packed us that night). Colleen and Linda were instrumental in having the wedding day go off without a hitch! The staff at RMC provided a great vendor referral list, to which I got my photographer, florist, cake, and DJ all from there and all were amazing. I know things can be out of your control on your wedding day, but I knew with the staff at RMC, I would not have to worry. Roswell Mill Club was the perfect location for the size of our wedding and a beautiful backdrop for wedding pictures. If you want this location for your wedding, book early. You won't regret your decision!
Beautiful venue. Staff was professional and everything ran smoothly. The food was fantastic and the staff made my husband and I a plate prior to the guests, so we did not spend the night starving. 10/10 recommend!
Loved the kindness and professionalism of this staff! They made everything simple and were willing to help make my dreams a reality.
This venue is so beautiful and doesn't require a ton of decorations. There are gold fixtures and chairs, and it overlooks a bridge and creek. The food was decent (pesto was fantastic). We are very glad we chose this venue!
The Roswell Mill Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! We were pleased with the team we worked with while planning. On our wedding day, the venue helped set up all of our decorations and almost everything was already in place by the time the bridal party arrived for photos. The ceremony coordinator and event captains took exceptional care of us the entire night. They managed of all of the little details so we could just relax and enjoy every moment. All of our guests had positive things to say about our wedding and the venue. RMC, thank you for helping make our special day so memorable!

HANDS DOWN- the best venue in the state of Georgia and I am not even exaggerating. The whole team took me in under their wings. April- the owner truly cares about each and every bride and has such a passion weddings. I was extremely blessed to have Margaret as my day-of-coordinator. Margaret took care of EVERY LITTLE DETAIL and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I wish every bride could have a Margaret because she made my day the best day ever. Linda - the venue planner is magic. Linda turned my vision into reality and knew exactly want to do. This whole team is experienced, knowledgeable, and so kind. I cannot recommend this venue and these people enough. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my mom and me!

XO,
Events Catering
My husband and I recently got married at Ivy Hall (Roswell Mill) in May 2017. From day one, the owner of Events Catering, April Bloomer, was extremely difficult to work with, and made part of our wedding planning unnecessarily stressful. I was planning our wedding from out of state, and she was very inflexible. She was truly rude and unprofessional. As a bride, she did not make me feel special or important at all. I had a very difficult time communicating with the company. If it were not for the fact that the venue was beautiful, I would have run the other direction. If you are a bride who wants to make decisions and have your wedding the way YOU view it, Roswell Mill is not your place. I felt like we had to do things the way they wanted it, and there were no exceptions. For example, my husbands family wanted to cook a traditional wedding dish and have the staff serve it during our reception...we were told no. It's also a historical venue, so no sparklers or fire allowed. I was so upset with the way the venue was managed that my wedding planner had to deal with them. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and truly the best day of our lives despite the issues. Pretty venue, but if they want to keep business they need to make some changes in their management. Very disappointed. I expect better treatment during the planning process of such a special time.

Dear Kellie:
Your reviews were totally surprising, for many reasons. Let me explain:
-Your post makes it sound as if we worked together on your wedding-untrue. I booked your wedding and turned your account over to Linda, our account manager. Ou...
r LAST contact was when I sent you your planning letter, 4/26/16. How was I difficult to work with then? You admit that you liked working with Linda so I don’t understand what problems you had.
-You state that “Roswell Mill allows one way to do things.” Could you be referring to me telling your father-in-law that he would not be allowed to bring in “New York Italian food “made by his wife? I assured him our food would be good enough, regardless of his doubts. He got so angry that I had to ask him to leave. Yes, I was inflexible about bringing in outside food, this is never allowed and you knew that (it’s in writing). We even made special cannolis for you.
-Speaking of food, you wanted several food upgrades and we GAVE them to you at less than half price (a savings of $1700.00). We did this because we liked you.
-The flow of your wedding was exactly as you and your planner requested. We have her timeline.
-You have waited 4 months after your wedding to write this-were you upset right after the event?; you have posted this on Roswell Mill Club-you didn’t get married here-it was Ivy Hall; you loved Linda but you had all these issues and yet never said a word during the year you worked together?; you weren’t allowed to use “sparklers or fire”-this is in writing, in your proposal, so you knew it before booking; your wedding “was truly beautiful in every way possible”--huumm. I’m very confused.
- I can only surmise that it is just me that you personally want to slam for some reason. I am sorry you have chosen to have bad memories of me and I apologize for anything I did to upset you, it was unintentional. I hope you will let go of the bad thoughts and remember that you DID have a beautiful wedding. I wish you only the best.
April Bloomer, Owner, Events Catering-celebrating our 30th year!
This place made our photos look so beautiful! It was a little higher than our budget, and not allowing sparklers was a bummer, but other than that, it was perfect. The service and day of wedding coordinator were extremely hands on.
We were very excited about our tour at the Roswell Mill Club after looking at all of their pictures on Facebook and we believed it to be the style of venue we were looking for.
We, unfortunately, did not receive the customer service and professionalism that everyone raved about in the reviews.
The tour started off great with April asking questions about what we were looking for with regards to our wedding.
As the tour went on we began to feel talked down to and judged for our decisions regarding our wedding. We are wanting a Sunday afternoon wedding, which after mentioning that the sun would be in people's eyes at that time of day we received a response of "Why would you want a Sunday afternoon wedding?" with a very condescending tone since she was able to have a Sunday evening wedding with 300+ people.
We then were asking questions about where we could have our ceremony indoors if it rained/we decided to move indoors. We liked the feel of the Vickery Room better than the room downstairs for our ceremony. When we asked if we could have it upstairs we were flat out told "No" not "Let me see if we can do that" or an explanation leading up to an "unfortunately not".
Based off of our experience we were turned off by the venue as these tours are meant to sell the venue for us to use as a space to have our wedding. We got the feeling that the tour was a waste of time and we didn't deserve the best.
It was disappointing in how we felt we were treated as we were so excited about it and where the Mill is located.
Response from the Vendor on 12/19/2016
Clara: Your review has taken my breath away, especially the personal nature of it. I would like to address the issues brought up:
-You toured Ivy Hall, not Roswell Mill Club.
-Time of the wedding-I asked you what time you wanted, you were unsur...
e and said “maybe 2pm?” This is for a 9/23 wedding. I suggested that if would be warm that time of day and you might want to consider later in the day. We talked about hair frizzing and groomsmen sweating in their suits-sun in your eyes was not discussed. Your concern was that out-of-towners might find an evening event hard to accommodate. This is when I explained that they would normally have to take a day off from work anyway and they can just take the Monday off instead of the Friday. This is when I added that I did get married on a Sunday night, many of my guests were from out of state and I had over (300) attend. This was to reassure you that what I was telling you works, not to sound condescending.
-Ceremony Location-Ivy Hall has a beautiful deck for ceremonies. I explained that “you always have to have Plan B, just in case.” Our Plan B is the Brookside Room-it is adjacent to the deck and can hold up to (250) for a ceremony (below what you were expecting). This enables us to quickly move our clients inside should the need arise, even though we only move a few weddings each year, and the reception space upstairs does not need to be disturbed. You were fine with this until we went upstairs to the Vickery Room and your groom asked about holding the ceremony up there. My answer was no-why would I lead you on or lie to you? It is not reasonable to flip the ballroom-it would take too much time (this would involve tables, chairs, linens, florists, buffets, entertainment, cake, etc.). We allow vendors to come in 2.5 hours early to set all this stuff up because it takes a while to do correctly! Also, the Brookside Room would not be large enough to use during the flip for the cocktail party without using the deck (we are inside because of bad weather remember.) I did explain this to you. Maybe you just didn’t want to hear it?
-If you were so “turned off,” why did you sit down with me and go through photos and menus and then ask me to do a full proposal for you? I sent you the proposal that night. Why did you ask if you could stay and walk around the property for a while longer, which you did, if you were so “disappointed” in how you were treated?
-When I left you after the tour, I thought you were actually excited about Ivy Hall. We will continue to do what we do, provide only the best, and I know that you will find the perfect place for your wedding. I am very sorry you feel as you do and wish you all the best.
-April Bloomer, Owner, Events Catering-Ivy Hall and Roswell Mill Club
The Roswell Mill Club was professional, beautiful, and made aspects of planning much easier. Events Catering is the company that actually oversees and directs the property. The were thorough, offered great suggestions, and provided a day-of wedding coordinator. Their food is very good and overall they made the process of planning as well as the day of the wedding much less stressful. Two thumbs up.
Roswell Mill Club was the perfect place for our wedding! The covered deck overlooking the woods was beautiful for our ceremony and the reception space was just right - beautiful but not too formal or grand. Linda and Colleen were so helpful through the entire planning process and I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of our wedding! Everything ran so smoothly. We were truly able to enjoy our special day!
We held our reception at Roswell Mill Club in November 2014, and we couldn't be more pleased. I'm not much of a wedding planner, but with the staff at RMC I didn't need to be - the venue includes the food and bar (delicious), furniture and linens (lovely), and a day-of captain that absolutely saved us several times over. I worked with Linda leading up to the day and was really impressed with her attention to detail and willingness to accommodate my requests. Overall, we feel like RMC was absolutely worth what we paid and would recommend it to anyone!
I absolutely loved planning a wedding at the Roswell Mill Club. They have everything you need! Ceremony and reception were both held here. I knew they would make the venue look perfect. Every person I worked with was extremely helpful. Great price and great service!
I am absolutely thrilled that I picked the Mill for my wedding. The place was large (we used the VIckery Room of Ivy Hall). Linda was fantastic!! She had everything worked out perfectly, so I didn't even have to think about anything. They worked with me so well, and I would recommend this venue to anyone! It looked so beautiful, and I did very little decoration on my own!
The Roswell Mill Club was previously a piano bar before becoming an event facility, which really shows in the decor of the space. It is already ornate, with beautiful chandeliers and a black ceiling, so few decorations are needed to make the venue feel special. The bar area is gorgeous, and the outdoor deck space makes it versatile. Perfect for a reception with about 100 people.
