ur ceremony in their outdoor courtyard & the reception was indoors. They ran the event seamlessly & contacted our vendors to make sure they had all of the correct scheduling details. There was lots of space to dance, drink, talk in small groups in the atrium, & our photo booth setup was perfect outside in the courtyard. The food was delicious & the bartenders could make any drink you could imagine. It was an amazing evening with the perfect ambiance of New Orleans. Thanks so much, Rosy's!

were able to sneak upstairs after the ceremony to relax and eat before going to the reception. They had an attendant with us at the start of the dinner to make sure we had everything we needed and then we were able to enjoy dinner along before the party began. The main reception hall was perfect for a dance party and the atrium and outside space were used for people who wanted to visit/talk. Steve and Raemy were WONDERFUL. Steve answered about 100 emails from me. Raemy was amazing on the day of - helping us with every last detail and ensuring we had fun at the reception and had drinks in hand. It was perfect. Our guests have been telling us they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The staff at the reception were very kind and extremely helpful to us on that day. Steve one of the co-owners was there helping the staff with serving and bartending. Thank you Steve and the rest of the staff for making our wedding day the best. was so easy to work with throughout. Being from out of town we also didn’t have a lot of opportunities to scout out vendors. Steve made this easier for us by providing a list of vendors that had done great work at Rosy’s before. I used this list for every vendor I booked and they were all great. As other posts have said the aesthetic at Rosy’s is so special you don’t need to do much to decorate but Steve works with you to make sure that you are able to include all the small touches that make the wedding feel like your own unique day. Finally our guests LOVED it. We got compliments throughout the night on the food and bar staff and ultimately how special Rosy’s was. Thank you again Steve for an amazing wedding!!!

The atrium room was such a great place for our ceremony. Everywhere you looked you were surrounded by your loved ones with that amazing balcony. ything reception related from food, drink to band were very helpful. He communicated with the other vendors week of wedding, so I didn't have to worry about them all being on the same page. Neither my husband or I had ever been to Rosy's, and we actually picked it during pandemic lockdown without physically going. Steve was awesome and did a FaceTime tour with us, and we fell in love. The food was delicious, the drinks were well made and professional. Guests didn't have to wait in lines for anything, which is a pet peeve of mine. I would highly recommend Rosy's and wish we could do it all over again because it was so perfect.

They were flexible, answered all our questions over email, and adjusted the contract as and when we made adjustments to our plan. My guests had a great time and the food was AMAZING. highly recommend if you want to have a very New Orleans wedding, but avoid the mess of the French quarter/downtown.

ad an 8 month engagement, and are no good at details, so when we met Steve and found out his and Darlene's experience handling everything from start to finish without a wedding coordinator, we knew Rosy's was the place for us. My mom visited a few additional venues and loved Rosy's best too! We were so happy with the price, food/alcohol (we did Menu 2!), turnkey service, size, and look, especially the old fashioned stained-glass and wooden bar. Our guests kept complimenting the venue all night. Our band Typically Booked said they enjoy playing this space too, given it was originally a jazz hall. We didn't even need decor outside of the bridesmaids bouquets and some green ferns and tealight candles for the tables. We are going to another wedding here later this year and can't wait!

best in the business. Darlene was always responsive, pleasant and helpful during the entire year of planning. Truly a lifesaver and always made me feel less stressed. When it got to be about a week out, she called me and told me she had broken her leg and wouldn't be able to work our wedding night - so you can imagine, your initial reaction as a bride is panic mode, right? - well, honestly the only negative part about that (besides poor Darlene having a broken leg of course) was that I didn't get to finally meet her in person! Everything still went perfectly. She still called all of my vendors the week of the wedding to make sure they were all set -- THIS IS A HUGE HELP!! I didn't realize until that week how helpful and relieving it was to have her check in with all the vendors. She still answered my questions via text & phone calls to make sure I was ready and just generally feeling good. Yes, the woman who is about to have surgery on her leg is asking me how I'm feeling.. that just shows you the kind of caring person she is - genuinely cares about her clients
Steve stepped in to run the show on the night of our wedding. We had a lot going on during the reception -a mascot appearance, both live music AND a DJ, a late night snack request, a pretty large wedding party, not to mention an extremely rowdy bunch!! Steve handled everything with ease and all of our guests are still talking about how it was the most fun wedding they've been to.
The building itself is GORGEOUS. Quintessential New Orleans vibe. You do not need decorations. Aside from the photos and guestbook and small things for the welcome table, the only decorations I brought were small candles for the tables. And it was absolutely gorgeous. The atrium is so beautiful for a ceremony and guests loved being able to look down from the balcony. We had about 175 guests and it was the perfect size. Only about 50 chairs fit in the atrium so most guests will stand on the balcony, but as long as your ceremony is 30 min or less, no one will care about standing. It's actually more fun and gives people a cool view.
The event staff was top notch. Bartenders were super friendly, professional, and accommodating. And they aren't stingy with the liquor so you will get your moneys worth out of the bar package for sure!!
The only bad part of the whole night was that it had to end.

e way. The all-inclusive aspects made it a no-brainer for our semi destination wedding. We visited the venue once before booking, and then did almost all other planning via email/phone. Darlene was a true pro, and provided feedback about vendors when we needed it. They were very budget conscious, and provided great ideas on where we could save (recommended DJs, indoor second line, etc.). On our wedding day Darlene kept us on track so we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would recommend using vendors who are more familiar with the layout at Rosy's in order to truly showcase the unique qualities. I only wish the weather had been better so we could've used the outdoor courtyard too. Luckily the indoor size was great, and allowed for guests to move between rooms as they needed (quieter seating in the atrium vs party in the main bar room). The atrium allowed for an intimate ceremony feel, with different vantage points for our guests. If you are looking for a wedding venue, look no further! You won't be disappointed!

Darlene our coordinator was amazing. She made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. She made sure that my now husband and I were taken care of throughout the ceremony and reception. She made sure we ate right after the ceremony and that we always had a drink in hand.
The entire staff was friendly and took care of every single guest we had. Everyone felt comfortable and at home. Its been 3 weeks since we had the wedding and people are still talking about it.

ace. We wanted our wedding to be a big party--and that's absolutely what it was. Darlene is super relaxed yet totally hustling to make sure your night is perfect. Throughout the planning process, she was sweet, responsive, and shared great insights. The night of the wedding couldn't gone better. Thanks to Darlene's coordination, everything went off without a hitch. So many of our friends are telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to and that the food was great. The drinks were flowing and the dance floor was perfect. I recommend getting a live band--we did and it was honestly the best night of our lives. I can't thank Darlene, Steve, and the rest of the staff enough for making our wedding easy, simple (but elegant and wonderful), stress-free and SO FUN. With such reasonable pricing, it's crazy the value that you get. I would recommend this spot to anyone! If you do end up booking, definitely don't go overboard on the decor/centerpieces--the place is so lovely that you don't need much. "that was the most fun reception I have ever been too!" and it was due in large part to Darlene, Steve, and the Rosy's team.
I can't think of a single thing that could have gone better. Rosy's is a perfect venue to host a destination wedding... the venue itself needs little (if at all) decorations because itself is so unique. We just had small floral arrangements on the tables. The bar area is beautiful (and LARGE which is great if you have a bunch of 30yr olds who love to party), and with the atrium there is still an area of people to catch up away from the music. It was the PERFECT venue for our friends and family to party. The food was DELICIOUS and PLENTY. The booze was flowing all night and the bartenders were so much fun (and gave special attention to the bride and groom :-) )
From the start, Darlene was amazingly helpful. She gladly offered ideas for various vendors who are turned out to be just as amazing as Rosy's. She reached out to the vendors the week of the wedding to ensure everyone was on the same page and everything would go smoothly, which it did! I met with Darlene the day before the wedding to go over last-minute details and she truly is a beautiful and kind person. My husband and I were able to have a quiet moment before being introduced to the reception, which included food and a special cocktail before we had to mingle with guests, which was so key to enjoying the moment having just been married.

And my husband and I even got to eat it since Darlene ensured we got a private meal together after the ceremony and before the reception. During the reception, Darlene was always 2 steps ahead. I didn't have one worry all night long. The bartenders were fantastic and really added to the night.

In fact, we heard this even from the twenty-somethings in the audience, most of whom have attended at least 7 weddings per year for the past couple of years. So, if they said "best ever" that is a powerful statement. And the reason it was the best is because of Rosy's and specifically because of Steve & Darlene.
Working with Steve to pick the date and plan the menu was relaxed, smooth, and enjoyable. Working with Darlene to coordinate the event itself was AMAZING. Darlene is empathetic but practical and wise. She helped us make great decisions and talked us out of some potentially clunky ones.
Darlene is the firm-but-loving guiding hand that every important event needs. She loves her job and after you work with her you will love her and feel like she's your friend (which she will be). Plus she's funny (I laughed out loud at least seventeen times).
Oh, and the food was exquisite. That's Steve's specialty, and you can tell it's a labor of love for him. People in New Orleans know good food, and all of our guests talked about how wonderful the food was. So that's another reason to have your event at Rosy's.
In short, everything was incredible from the moment we met with Steve about possibly having our wedding there until we walked out basking in the glow of an epic gathering that will live on in our memory forever."

A bunch of our guests told us it was by far the best wedding they'd ever been to...including their own! And many of them had been to 20-30 weddings in the past 5 or so years. And everyone would not stop talking about the food...it was so good (the crawfish beignets were a particularly huge hit). If you visit Rosy's, you can see the beauty of the atrium and get a little bit of the vibe of the place...but it honestly does not do it justice until you experience a wedding there. It completely transforms and comes alive, and is honestly just the perfect venue for a wedding and reception. During the ceremony, to look up and see everyone on the balcony overhead is the coolest thing ever. It has such a more relaxed and close-knit feel than any wedding venue I've ever been to. Our ceremony took place in the evening in the courtyard and lucky for us the weather was perfect. The lighting in the courtyard also made for some beautiful photos. As a mixed race couple, it was hard to find a space that seemed to be sensitive to the long histories of our families (hard to do in the south): Perhaps the icing on the cake is the wonderful inclusive history of Rosy's Jazz Hall. All of our guests continue to comment on how incredible the venue was, from the food to the staff, the ambiance, everything! Darlene and Steve were so kind and helpful throughout the entire process and really took care of us. We could not be more grateful to them for everything. The night was worth every penny we spent and then some. Pro for budget/DIY brides: There is no need to add any additional decor to this already gorgeous space. We went with simple, small homemade centerpieces and just added a little flair to the gift table. People still commented on how beautifully decorated the venue was. t that time was perfect and that room with some candles and those trees transforms into this romantic, intimate space. It was stunning. The reception was so much fun. My guests all talked about how fun the bartenders were and, wow, Darlene is the BEST. Darlene really, really took care of things. I am a huge worrier and get really overwhelmed being center of attention, always wanting to make sure everyone is taken care of and Darlene completely took that worry off my hands. She was so on top of the schedule and all the details, was engaged with all the guests making sure everyone was having a great time, and got me drinks when I didn't have one in hand. Any time I started to worry about something she appeared and handled it. I'm just sad I didn't have her at my rehearsal dinner! Rosy's had the best bar offering of any of the venues we saw in New Orleans (most specifically they were the only bar that offered Jameson which was an absolute necessity for my husband) and they totally delivered with serving drinks. Of course, I hardly ate a thing with all the excitement but the spread was expansive and everyone was fed and happy and loved the food. The venue really is gorgeous and so unique. Pictures don't do it justice. Some of my favorite moments were being in the upstairs suite with Darlene taking care of business, making sure our marriage license was signed, kicking our witnesses out, making sure we had our favorite drinks and giving us some time to eat and be alone. When we came downstairs she had rounded up our bridal party for our big entrance and everyone was gushing about how amazing everything was and I was just SO happy. This is the perfect venue for a crowd looking to dance and have a good time. This was a destination wedding for us (we live in NYC) and our NYC group — largely comprised of people in show biz or the music/entertainment industry — had the time of their lives. I want to do it all over again!!

our party. They also gave us excellent recommendations for vendors - band, transportation, etc. that made booking everything else easy. They were helpful along the way as well, sending us a full planner to be sure we were ready for our wedding day to run smoothly. When we met Darlene (event coordinator) at the rehearsal, she sat down and went through everything with us to make she we were all on the same page. She did a phenomenal job of making sure everyone was in their place and everything went as planned on the wedding day, all while maintaining her fun and spunky personality. She knows exactly what she is doing and will make your day exactly what you want it to be. After the ceremony we had time to eat alone upstairs which was nice, and as soon as we were ready we went down stairs and joined the party. Everyone at our wedding raved about the cool venue, delicious food, and the awesome music. The bartenders did an fantastic job, and could really make some good drinks (not just your typical wedding bar). Ugh! Where do i begin? I met with Steve and Darlene about a year and a half ago, and fell in love with the venue. I picked October 7 for my wedding day. And what do you know, but days before I get married, hurricane nate is headed towards new ...
orleans! Initially I was going to keep my start time the same, but Steve and Darlene recommended I push up the time by a couple of hours. So, I start calling all of my guests the day before to inform them. Not a big deal. A few hours later, I hear that the mayor issued a curfew for the impending hurricane which directly conflicted with my NEW start time. So I get a call from Steve saying that I can either push up the start time AGAIN, reschedule for the next day, reschedule for another date altogether or cancel the wedding. I was so upset at that point, I didn't know what to do. So I made the choice to push up the time AGAIN. Here we go... got to call all the guests again to inform them of the new start time. Some of the guests cancelled, or left early, which was no fault of rosy's. Darlene started getting on the phones to inform all the vendors of the new start time. After all of the drama with the hurricane, we still had a lot of guests show up and they all said they had the best time. Darlene made sure that I always had a drink in my hand. It may sound cheesy, but Darlene and Steve went the extra mile to be flexible, and that meant the world to me! I had so much fun and I would recommend them to anyone!

In terms of planning for our wedding, Darlene and Steve were extremely helpful. In the months leading up to the wedding, Darlene provided vendor lists for everything that we asked, and made sure that we were planning all the things that we needed to. She was also great in helping us to figure out the step-by-step details that would make our special day go off without a hitch (even though we were pretty clueless).
On the actual day, we had a blast, and so did our guests. Everything went smoothly, and we just enjoyed a fantastic party! The food was delicious (Darlene made sure we got to eat between the ceremony and the reception), the venue was gorgeous (even with minimal additional decorations), and all the staff were incredibly helpful. We had several guests comment that it was one of the most fun weddings they had ever been to - so a huge thank you to everyone at Rosy's Jazz Hall!

as important to me. The stage is also SO IDEAL for live music - very old school, retro feeling, and we had a blast with our friends' band playing. Everyone was raving about the food, the drinks and fun bartenders, the beautiful atmosphere of the venue, and how overall unique the experience was. Our out-of-town guests, many of who were experiencing a Southern wedding for the first time, got an absolute kick out of all of it.
A few other smaller things - we had a daytime wedding and I initially chose Rosy's because I loved the atrium and how you didn't feel like you were going in to a black-hole-wedding-reception-venue where you walk out, blinking your eyes. The daylight and the greenery really contributed to the ambience of our daytime celebration. Another thing - I loved that all of the food is simply taken care of. And it's SO GOOD. Not having to worry about a caterer was such a big perk for us.
Lastly, the location makes it so easy for guests in cars. As someone who had a lot of family driving in from nearby, not dealing with the French Quarter was a big part of my decision to go with Rosy's initially - and there is no lack of character here! I would choose this venue over and over again for our wedding. It was perfect!

There's no one I would trust to pull off such a production more than Darlene, and we feel so lucky we had the opportunity to have her with us throughout the process, right by our sides. The vendors were contacted and coordinated by Darlene the week prior, and she even reviewed contracts before as we were honing in on vendors. At the wedding, she let me know that she's "the only person who wears a watch," and did her best to keep an icy cocktail in my hand throughout the night. After the reception, she had all of the things we had to take from the venue all packed and ready to go, and most importantly, made sure it got to the right people (God knows I couldn't be trusted with that at that point). They truly made us feel special and attended to throughout everything. All of our guests were raving about the uniqueness of the hall, and the delicious food. The bartenders were efficient and awesome, I could tell they were having fun with us, and that meant a lot. They made this process an absolute breeze; all I had to do was show up and have a blast.

The staff was so friendly, and they were working a double that day. In that industry, doubles are so exhausting! It was the little things we appreciated, for example, during our second line all of the staff came out and waived at us, throwing streamers in the air, clapping and making sure we had fun. They genuinely looked excited for us. There was always a tray being passed around, no one went hungry. I never had to ask for a drink or a bottle of water. The food was 5 star restaurant quality, nothing was frozen and dumped into a fryer. My guests were raving on how good the food was. The best part about the food was that we actually got to eat it!! Darlene whisked us away upstairs to give us a breather and there was a table set for two. Besides the service and the food, the venue itself is just gorgeous.
