y incorporated my French (baked brie tartlets) and Ukrainian (potato pyrohy) backgrounds and my husband's Chinese (edamame potstickers) background perfectly into the passed hors d'oeuvres, and the buffet dinner was extremely well-executed and delicious. I was a little worried about a line at the buffet taking too long, but the experienced Rouge staff kept things moving and there was never an issue. Everyone raved about the food! Our guests were talking about it for days after our wedding. The service and attention to detail were also incredible. We ordered a sheet cake from Wegmans for our dessert, and Rouge picked it up for us on the day of our wedding (they also do their own in-house desserts, which I am sure are amazing). We coordinated linen rental through Rouge, which was seamless and straightforward. The staff even set aside two of every passed hors d'oeuvres in the bridal suite so we were both able to taste everything. We were so impressed with everything Rouge had to offer. We didn't even consider other caterers - after we tried Rouge, we were sold!

It was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m still amazed at how they pulled off such exceptional quality in a buffet setting. You absolutely must try the braised short rib—it was a showstopper! I’m already trying to figure out how to enjoy it again. All of the staff were incredibly sweet and attentive, contributing to a wonderful evening that we will never forget. We brought in both donuts and hotdogs from the bride's hometown (6 hours away) and they seamlessly prepared and served both after dinner for our guests. Guests are still talking about the food a month later and we could not be more pleased. We were seafood heavy on both passed appetizers and dinner and the cost was very reasonable. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Celeste and Amanda for their hospitality, patience, and execution. The pre-contract process: This was the first caterer I called and actually had someone answer the phone at the same time. Celeste answered all of my questions, helped me to build a starting menu and invited us in for a tasting. I don't want to take away the surprise for anyone's tasting, but let's just say you get shown the whole operation, and you're treated like family. The coordination and day-of execution: Amanda was our main point of contact after contract signing. She was organized, even keeled, and extremely helpful in every way. She made sure every detail was accounted for and gave recommendations when asked. Our floor plan, table setups, and color scheme were very well done. She made sure our guests were taken care of as well. The food: I have yet to attend a wedding where the food was as good as ours (maybe I'm a little biased, but come on - a taco bar at a wedding is pretty epic). People raved about the passed apps and taco bar, and some thought we wouldn't serve a plated meal because the apps were so plentiful. The dual plate salmon and bistro steak was a hit. The dessert display was amazing as well - cupcakes, cannolis, and tres leches cake were all outstanding! I wish we'd have captured more food pics, but our photographer's attention was on the people 🙂. The fact that Rouge cooks on site and could prepare all of this food for almost 200 guests was absolutely incredible!
