Route 22 Limousine

I rented Rt 22 Limo for my wedding on April 21, 2017 The driver, Anthony was on time and courteous. He was very patient with me, he actually kept me calm while waiting in limo for the ceremony to begin. Thank you Anthony!

I was shook down by the bus driver and had $400+ dollars charged on my card after we had paid in full. Party bus driver was late to pick us up. I was best man. After the church, before going to the reception, I hopped on the bus to tip the driver. After tipping him, the driver told me he was over time and going to leave. He said he needed a form of payment for possible over time or he would leave us all. (yes, leave the wedding party at the church) I gave him my debit card to JUST NOT LEAVE THE WEDDING PARTY. I did whatever I could to avoid that situation. In hindsight, giving your CC to someone without seeing charges is dumb. I filled out a blank carbon copy paper and he scratched my cc number onto it. The groom told the driver, don't charge the card, I will cover any extra expenses. Regardless, the company charged me $417 extra. I called asked why I was charged, they told me I CALLED IN AND APPROVED THE CHARGES. Someone pretended to be me to approve them. All lies. The driver took my CC number, called in the approval and charged us $400+ on top of all the regular fees after being late to pick us up. They took advantage of the fact that I would do ANYTHING to not let my brother's special day be ruined. The manager Oscar would not hear any of this. I had to do a chargeback to get the money. Honestly, beware of this company. Their drivers are scum that shake you down at the worst time (in the middle of a wedding) and the manager is just as bad. Won't hear any of it. Won't check GPS times, won't look at phone logs, etc. Use Uber or any other company you can find. Don't let this group of shady people ruin your special day. There are endless other options. Looking forward to their response, because they refused to figure this out on the phone.

Route 22 was a great choice for our wedding day transportation in October 2016. I did a lot of research for the wedding transportation and they were the best value. They truly are the best priced in north and central NJ. We got a party bus and a classic Bentley. The staff was very friendly and we were able to look at as many vehicles as we wanted and they made us feel very comfortable and also were very accommodating when we worked out the schedule for the day and did not try to add more time just get more $. Tax, gas, and gratuity were all included in the final price so that was one less thing to worry about that day. The cars were clean, the drivers were friendly and they arrived where we needed to be safe and on time. They also had the cars stocked with ice and had a red carpet and champagne toast for the bride and groom which was a nice touch. Overall, I would recommend Route 22 for your wedding or any other private car needs.

Horrible service! Never will rent from there again. Limo bus was down the block for 40min about 20 houses away parked for no reason. I had to go outside walk down the block and tell the limo guy to pick us up in front of my house. We were extremely late to the church because of this. Then charged me $65 dollars for extra time needed. I spoke to the receptionist and she said that since the gps showed it was on my street, again 20 house away that it meant he arrived on time. Please dont waste your time at this place. There are plenty of limo places around. Goodluck

Route 22 was a great choice for our wedding day transportation. Upon reading a few not so great reviews on WeddingWire, we decided to visit the offices and meet the staff and see the vehicles. I'm so glad we did. The staff were very friendly and we were able to look at as many vehicles as we wanted. We weren't pressured into making any decisions and we were very comfortable in choosing them for our transportation. We chose a classic 6 passenger stretch limo and a 24 - 26 passenger party bus and had them both for 4 hours. Tax, gas, and gratuity were all included in the final price so that was one less thing to worry about that day. The only reason I'm saying 4 stars for professionalism is because the driver of the party bus was a little bit snippy throughout the day. Not to the point where it was truly rude, but we didn't think it was necessary for him to be that way. The value cannot be beat. They truly are the best priced in north and central NJ. The cars were both clean, the drivers weren't late, and we all arrived where we needed to be safe and on time. Overall, I would recommend Route 22 for any private car needs.

what an awful company. Everything was fine when signing the contract (since they knew they were getting my money)... but hows this for you... THEY NEVER SHOWED UP ON MY WEDDING DAY. we called numerous times/left voicemails and they NEVER SHOWED. They claim they had the incorrect date.. but I have numerous emails back and forth saying my specific wedding date. & now they refuse to give our deposit back as they keep saying "the owner is out of the country" WHAT AN AWFUL TERRIBLE COMPANY! NEARLY RUINED MY WEDDING DAY. I ADVISE YOU... they may be sweet on the phone.. but there are so many better limo companies out there than this one!

Great service. Decided on it last minute and they definitely accommodated and got us what we wanted. Were on time to everything so everything ran very very smoothly.

Where to begin?? Limo was dirty Garbage left inside the limo Tint on the windows torn so they looked really bad in our pictures The driver had no clue where he was going, and made me (the bride) late for the church Driver drove recklessly The driver made us late, then they RUSHED us to the reception venue without stopping at the location we paid for to take our pictures, claiming there was a tracker on the car so they had to drop us off. We asked if we had the option to extend their service and pay for it, and were told NO... as they had another venue to go to. This is the WORST limo service I have EVER experienced, and would NOT recommend them to anyone. (Office staff was pleasant though.)

We used Route 22 for both the bachelorette party and the wedding. They showed up 45 mins late to the bachelorette party and did not give us any money back. The day before the wedding they called to tell us the vehicle we paid for and was expecting wasn't available any longer for TSA reasons --so they sent a car we specifically told them we did not want (My girls were in short dresses and i didn't want them climbing and crawling into a limo). At the wedding they threatened to leave my husband and I are the location we were taking photos because we were "over time" -- I guess that's why their rates are cheaper than everyone elses. Horrible company!

We used Route 22 Limo for both my bachelorette party and the wedding day. The night of my bachelorette party the car used had no way of connecting an iPod/iPhone to listen to music - as well the radio wasn't great either. However, on the day of our wedding, both cars we used were great! The drivers were personable and so helpful.

If you are getting married don't look any further for your transportation needs. Timely, professional, entertaining. . . we couldn't ask for better service!

We got upgraded from a 30 to a 40 passenger party bus the day before the wedding which was nice. My only issue was on the way there the AC was not working so all of us girls were sweating with our makeup coming off. Finally once we got To the location they fixed the AC so that one the way to the venue we were ok. I liked the bottle of champagne and red carpet after the church, it was a nice touch.

HORRIBLE!!! The driver was late to the house, he showed up in an old damaged limo - the door wouldn't open from the inside, the roof was cracked, the handle was broken and falling off of the inside of the limo - and the inside of the limo was filthy! I would not recommend to anyone!!!

This place has top of the line limousines! I rented the triple axle hummer for my wedding and everyone was awe strucken. The limo was huge, and the jet doors made it stand out even more. I couldn't have chosen a better limo. And the customer service was good too. The week before my wedding I rented an antique for myself and my dad, and so they gave me a gift. They sent me another grand limo to pick up my bridesmaids, so that the boys could keep the hummer all to themselves. I was so pleased and surprised. Very happy with them and will recommend them to others!

Route 22 Limousine’s service was fantastic!!!! They were EXTREMELY affordable, extremely reliable, helpful and so easy to work with (ask for Oscar or Paula). My wedding was in the beginning of November and I booked the stretch white Hummer with the jet doors, a antique white Rolls Royce and a stretch white Cadillac Escalade and I cannot tell you how many people were blown away when they saw my limos, especially the Hummer (that had 3 wheels in the back and jet doors… INSANE!!). Those are only 3 out of the tons of limos/buses that they have to chose from!!! I know you hear horror stories all the time about limo companies but if you go with Route 22 you will not have to worry about a thing! Not to mention they were all clean and the drivers were all fantastic!!!

Great Service! On-time and organized. Our coach bus was perfect for everyone!

First, they are not very convenient. You need to find their location which is under a bridge somewhere in some city (it varies depending on google). Then, you have to go to their location every time you need to make a payment...they do nothing over the phone. They told us they'd be open early, showed up an hour and a half after their said opening time. Then, the day of, they were 15/20 minutes late for pick up and then tried to charge us for the 15/20 min "overtime" we had been. It wasn't great but for the money, I guess that's what you get. Something nice to say? One limo driver was very nice and the limos were nice looking.

Sorry it's so long... but PLEASE take the time to read If you are thinking of or already have contracted Route 22 Limousine Service for your wedding day!!! I wouldn’t want any bride to go through what I went through on my wedding day! They woud receive a Zero Rating!! For some reason - I had to give an overall rating (one star) in order to submit my review - but they don't deserve anything!! For my wedding day, I contracted a party bus, an Excalibur and an escalade limo. The Excalibur was to take my parents and I to the church while the escalade would take the bridesmaids and the party take the groomsmen to the church. The only positive remark I could say is that they arrived on time to pick everyone up. First, the chauffeur that was driving my parents and I to the church was very rude. He was arguing with my father on which route to take to get to the church. My father was trying to give him the most direct/quickest route but instead the chauffeur argued with my father telling him he didn’t know what he was talking about. About five 5 minutes into the ride, the chaufeaur started screaming “Oh, shit!! Oh, shit!!” and all of a sudden the Excalibur stopped in the middle of Route 22. He made my parents and I get onto the escalade limo with the girls and told me that he would meet us at the church with another limo. At the end of the church I walked out and there was no limo waiting for me..I had no red carpet or the champagne popping! The chauffeur from the party bus told us not to worry that they were getting another limo and they would now meet us at the park. Again, the limo was not there. Too make a long story short, the limo that I paid for and was promised time and time again never showed up. I don’t have the pictures of us drinking champagne on the red carpet which they were suppose to provide upon leaving the church, nor do I have any pictures of us in the limo driving alone. I called the following day and spoke to Paula who gave me one story. Then I spoke to the owner, Oscar, and he told two completely different stories. He told me that he was not reliable for the Excalibur breaking down, since it was a mechanical failure. I understand that it was not his fault that there was a mechanical failure, but he could have sent another type of limo, any limo at that point!! He then proceeded to tell me that if I want pictures with the limo so bad to get dressed in my wedding gown again, ride down to Hillside and he would allow me to take pictures there. I felt that to be insulting and very unprofessional! How dare he tell me to do something like that! It was my wedding day, the day I have been dreaming of since I was little and he totally disregarded my feelings. In the end he refunded us only the money we paid for the Excalibur and not a penny more. I didn’t want a complete refund but I feel that he could have done something more to try to accommodate me. I WILL NEVER use them again!!!

Route 22 Limo provided us with great service. They worked with us on pricing and car availability . When the car my husband and I chose for ourselves (Rolls Royce) had mechanical problems the day before the wedding, we were upgraded to the larger car at no additional cost, and an extra hour for all cars (we had three).

they arrived on time and worked out a shuttle for our hotel guests.;The limo was nice exterior wise but sounded like the shocks where going to bust. Suggest a test drive in the limo you will have.

;The day we booked the limo, I asked the salesperson if the limos were equipped with umbrellas and he said yes, definitely, every limo has a big golf umbrella. Well, it rained right as we were leaving for my ceremony and he did not have an umbrella. We had to scramble to find one and my dad ended up walking each of my bridesmaids and me to the limo while the driver just stood there. Also, the day I booked with them, I asked if I can leave directions with them and they said every driver has GPS. Well, he didn't and he ended up getting lost. Then they charged us for overtime. I would never recommend them to anyone. We called the office when we returned from our honeymoon and they did not want to hear anything we had to say. Very unprofessional and incredibly rude.

We rented 2 vehicles. The limobus was top of the line and had the friendliest staff. It was great for the bridal party to not have to squat and get in a limo where the bus you can get in standing up. We rented a 2nd vehicle to get the parents to the church. VERY VERY punctual and excellent drivers. We used them for the bachlor and bachlorette parties. We plan on using them again for all our special occassions.

The transportation was on time and the drivers were dressed formerly.;The drivers took a less scenic route to the reception hall and became lost in Paterson, NJ. Be sure the limo drivers have the correct directions with them and that the route they will follow is the best route.

The drivers were punctual and very friendly. Both the Rolls Royce and party bus had enough for all to drink.;The air conditioning wasn't working properly on the party bus and it was 93 degrees that day.

;The only thing I would complain about was that the time got wasted because the driver did not know how to get from the 1st pick up place where they picked up the bridal party to the hotel, where the bride was located. The time wasted was about 30 minutes.

Reasonable rates. Showed up on time.;Forgot one pick up on the way to the church and had to be redirected. Fortunately, they were on time so it did not create any issues.

;Be careful that the town car you may rent shows up cause our didn't! But we were refunded the cost within ten days

;The 18 passenger hummer did not have the power to air condition the inside of the car with 18 passengers so we were sweating to death inside the car! The driver told us it never has the power to cool the whole car with that many people but that would have been nice to know ahead of time!

The stretch Mercedes ML430 was gorgeous - very classy looking. The driver was polite.

they knew thier way around town.;Make sure the divre knows your area, even short cuts just in case of traffic.

We opted for the party bus! It was amazing, everyone was comfortable, not crammed in like in a limo or limo suv(we had experiences from being in other weddings!)Our driver was wonderful friendly and fummy

The driver arrived on time and got us to where we were going safely and on time. The driver was very friendly. He was patient, and seemed to enjoy the day with us.;The only thing that I wish was different was that the driver was dressed better. He had on a suit and tie that looked faded and did not match the wedding day emsemble. He should have had on a tuxedo or a better suit.

;They sent the wrong car to pick up my husband and the groomsmen. We had ordered a stretch and they sent a sedan. They were not flexible with pricing as I did not need the cars for 4 hours only 1 hour, but they still charged me full price.

They were very easy to work with.
