Row 24 Events and Productions is a historic wedding venue located on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL. Constructed in 1903, this breathtaking venue was once the showroom of the Speedwell Motor Company. Now family-owned and operated, it has been lovingly restored to emulate the glitz and glamour of the Motor Row heyday. The facility is conveniently situated five minutes from Downtown Chicago, close by numerous hotels, and 45 minutes from O’Hare International Airport. Glittering with vintage charm and original architectural details, this property is an unforgettable spot for your celebration. As you enter Row 24 Events and Productions, you will be transported back in time to the classic elegance of the Motor Age. The loft-style showroom boasts 2,400 square feet of soaring ceilings and exposed brick walls that create a retro and romantic ambiance. Above the spacious dance floor, which can accommodate 270 people for cocktails and 200 seated, sparkles an elaborate Swarovski chandelier. A staircase will take you up to an 800-square-foot mezzanine with hardwood floors and mid-century modern furnishings. Throughout the night of dining and dancing, your guests can order cocktails at the Craft Bar, which houses premium spirits, wine, and beer. The team at Row 24 Events and Productions have designed a rental process that is convenient and all-inclusive. All bookings come with a dedicated event manager who will work with you and your vendors to organize and execute your celebration. About one month before the festivities, this coordinator will review your plans and create a comprehensive timeline. Wedding packages include 150 natural wood folding chairs, round tables, banquet tables, high boy tables, and two custom mobile bars. A get-ready suite and newly built restrooms are also available. For your entertainment needs, the showroom is equipped with a Sonos sound system, a 65-inch Samsung television, and wireless internet. pert in all-things wedding planning and help paved the way for us to have an unforgettable experience. Stephanie and Kara led the show on the night of our wedding. Kara was my personal attendant and kept bringing me water or whatever I asked for. Both Stephanie and Kara were very attentive and even anticipated all my needs in advance! At the end of the evening, they gathered all our belongings, so it was easy to grab everything together when leaving. Our planning meeting in advance was with Stephanie we had some homework both before and after to figure out all the details. Whatever we wanted— Row 24 made it happen. The space at Row 24 is beautiful. The Loft (for room the ceremony and then dinner) —with the exposed brick, lights, and candles—is just stunning. (Having candles as centerpieces means costs savings, not spending as much on flowers for tables.) It was the perfect urban chic look we wanted. People will come for the food, drink, and dancing, people will leave talking about the chandelier, foliage walls, and decor. Every corner of this place is photo-ready to grab that quick shot for Instagram or have a professional portrait taken. Stephanie and her team at Row 24 went above and beyond to make my wedding day (and leading up to it), flawless. I DIY’d a lot of my decor and Stephanie and her team made sure every detail was covered- from getting on ladders to hang stuff, to bringing back up pens for the guest book (whoops!), Stephanie even picked up my personal flowers and dropped them off to the hotel in the morning for photos! Chris, Dana, and Stephanie provided so many amazing suggestions that I didn’t even think of. Dana even owns a bridal salon called Pin Me Up and she and her team got me and my girls ready at the hotel in the morning- honestly there is nothing this group cannot handle!! It is super obvious that the team at Row 24 is a family- they work together so effortlessly and always with a giant smile. iterally was the most overwhelming part of wedding planning to me). When we walked into Row 24 Stephanie greeted us and made us feel right at home, and that is what you get when you work with Row 24. A family run business that makes sure to have everything you need right when you need it! She was able to answer every single question I fired off at her, she was able to talk to us about how other people had set up their weddings, and the entire time she did it with a smile.
While working with a family owned and operated business was the selling point for us, Row 24 is also a stunning venue. They have a gorgeous sky light, a mezzanine level that over looks the first floor and exposed brick. This venue is a blank canvas that you can beautify any way you see fit!
One of the coolest parts of working with Row 24 was getting to hear all the magnificent things the vendors we partnered with said about Chris, Dana. Chris, Dana, and our on site manager Stephanie were all so incredibly organized and responsive while working with us on all the specific details. THE SPACE: The floor to ceiling brick walls and vintage pieces thoughtfully scattered through all the nooks of the space were the perfect backdrop for our wedding day. Photos are coming in and they are just perfect. We had our ceremony in the round on the main level under the stunning chandelier and had over 100 family and friends quickly relocate upstairs for our cocktail hour as the room was flipped downstairs for our food truck dining reception. YEP!!! Ya heard right. ROW 24 was the ONLY venue in Chicago that was so receptive to our decision to have a food truck vendor for our wedding. We were on a budget and really wanted to create an experience were guests would mix and mingle and enjoy a unique experience. Without hesitation Chris and Dana were open to the use of a food truck vendor and there was a loading spot right out in front of the venue. Everything was seriously seamless. The bartenders were so friendly and so professional. They really treated our guests with quick efficient and friendly service.

They are the type of owners that really care to make your day special. They were always on top of communication and were always there to help with anything we needed. The only constructive criticism I would say is that they should update their sound system and discontinue the use of the app that goes with it. We opted out of having a DJ because they have this app and sound system as an option but it didn’t work for us. Just get a DJ! Lol. Other than that, it’s an amazing venue that you shouldn’t pass up!

When we visited with Chris to see the venue, ask questions he was nothing but a great host, answered all questions and the price was the best we had encountered compared to several other locations we had looked at. By the end of our meeting we pretty much were already setting up a date and when we could put the deposit down. Chris kept in touch and answered any questions closer to the wedding. Day of wedding 08.04.18 Chris and Dana were great. Dana came in to check on me in the bridal room to make sure I didn’t need anything and my husband, Chris, my wedding planner, sister and brother in law made sure everything ran smoothly. Looking at the pictures that we took for the wedding with our decor it just completes how we felt about the venue. Not one bad picture in the house. Every picture came out gorgeous because of the background we had. So glad we were able to book with Row24 and have been able to tell friends and family about it. Two of the original founders of ROW 24, Chris & Dana Fountain are entrepreneurs with many years of experience in the wedding and entertainment industries. Chris managed a live music venue in the trendy Wicker Park neighborhood, while Dana’s business, Pin Me Up, a bridal beauty agency, has won the Best of Weddings award from The Knot for the last four years. At ROW 24, Chris and Dana work with their family, who collectively have over 20 years of experience in hospitality. The family has come together to cultivate a business that is more than just another event space.
