Located in Hedley, TX, Rowe Point Ranch is a 20-acre pasture venue featuring rolling hills set amongst the backdrop of a Texan landscape. Here, the owners have thoughtfully and lovingly renovated the barn and house to accommodate weddings of all types. Coupled with the charming pond that’s nestled within the landscape, this ranch is a stunning backdrop for any occasion. The heritage of this property runs deep, starting with Alfred Rowe, the founder of the town that set up camp here. Rowe was a longtime ranch operator until he met his unfortunate end on Titanic’s fateful voyage. Since that time, three of the foundational establishments remain on the premises. Current owners Trey and Shandy Pearson have transformed the site into a fully-functioning event venue, complete with renovations and updates. Up to 300 guests can comfortably attend and event held at Rowe Point Ranch. Before the ceremony, couples can get ready in separate areas, including the on-site dressing suite. Originally the site of Rowe’s post office, the 1890’s building is a memorable get-ready space. It boasts shiplap walls, hardwood floors, and original doorknobs. Since renovations, the building includes new kitchen fixtures, lighting, and window fittings. When couples are ready for their celebration, the wedding party can take place in the temperature-controlled barn. There, modern amenities mix with historic charm. Large windows allow light to flood in and a tin roof pays homage to the barn’s early days. Rockwork and rough-cut cedar amplify the ambiance within the room, making any function feel special and homey. Topping it off, an elegant chandelier hangs above it all, shining a light upon all who enter. With each of these elements combined, this once ghost town can be the dream wedding spot for any Texas-loving couple. Tours can be scheduled directly with the Rowe Point Ranch staff, where couples can see the beauty of the property for themselves.
