sboro to rent a “one of a kind” vintage Rolls Royce 1965 Silver Cloud for photos on our wedding day. Rather than getting what we contracted for, without receiving any communication from the business alerting us of the change in vehicle, we were provided with a completely different vehicle that we could not use for photographs (we paid extra for an extended rental time).
We attempted to come to a resolution with the business owner, who sent us this final message:
“I honestly cannot believe you are still fixated on this months later. There is no moral violation here. This is simply a business adhering to a legally binding agreement. I will also copy and paste something you should read again before deciding you want to go to war with me.
"If, for any reason, there is a problem with the reservation, the customer agrees to mediation/arbitration at their expense with a nonbiased attorney firm prior to making any slanderous or libelous statements about RL to any person, social media, review forum, Better Business Bureau, or in any other manner that might negatively impact RL. Failure to do so will result in a $3,000 breach of contract. Customers assume responsibility equally for any similar remarks from any of their passengers. Any mediation/arbitration or litigation will be subject to North Carolina laws. If any mediation/arbitration or litigation occurs for any reason as a result of this contract, the customer will be responsible for attorneys fees and court costs."
At this point, I would just warn you that if you take that course of action, each occurrence will entitle me to $3,000 in damages for a breach of contract. You can decide to pursue mediation at your expense if you would like. Those average between $500-$1,000, but can help resolve things.
We didn't show up with a Honda Accord...you were provided with another comparable vehicle per our contract. I do not have time to educate you on torts and damages on NC Contract law as this took me years of study as my minor in college and 30 years of business to perfect.
My advice is to move on...All weddings have hiccups. [Wife’s name] and I just got married last weekend and we had a few ourselves. Our DJ, that I have known for 15 years completely screwed up and could have ruined the ceremony. At the end of the day, we still got married! We aren't stewing over the fact that the DJ messed up.
I don't want to have to involve my attorney and spend the next 6 months to a year pursuing legal damages against you, but I will to protect my company and my family.
Either way, do not contact me again regarding this matter. If you do, I will file criminal harassment charged against you. If you need to discuss this further, you can contact [Lawyer’s name] in High Point. He is my attorney and will take this from here. He will bill me $300 for each hour of his time for which I will include in the lawsuit he will be filing against you guys. Again, I would advise you take this time and celebrate your new lives together and move on from this matter. I never want to make enemies, but I have been to war before for this country and as a Marine, I am ready at any time.

He arrived a little before our scheduled pickup time and was so friendly and courteous. Our limo was very clean, bottled water on ice was available and the ride back to our hotel that night was so smooth and relaxing after a wonderful but hectic day.

delayed my wedding start time a half hour and dropped off guests an hour after they were supposed to.
"Horrible company. Contracted and paid for charter bus for 7 hours. Have a text message from Royal Limousine confirming the times and that the driver will stay all night at the venue and we had to provide a vendor meal. Driver was half hour late for pick up, causing a half hour delay in the beginning of the wedding. Driver left the venue for 6 hours, never used the pre paid vendor meal and was another half hour late returning to the venue for pick up. We had elderly passengers who didn't arrive back at their hotel until shortly before midnight. Made 3 calls to Royal Limo afterwards and spoke with Brittney, who was very pleasant. I approached the issue from the mind-set that they weren't ripping me off, but rather that they had a driver who they may not be aware was not fulfilling the contract. Basically, giving them an excuse. I asked for a refund for the time the bus left and to pay for the 2 hours that they actually provided. Royal Limousine has not responded. Their failure to respond indicates that this is how they do business. Only asking to pay for what I received."

We ended up with a large bus, a small bus, and hired the Bentley for the couple's getaway car. Additionally, Royal Limousine offers a service where you can hire a driver to drive your own vehicle. As parents of the groom, we did this so that we had an option to get the grandparents back to their hotel early, and we could enjoy ourselves without having to worry about driving.

erfect experience for my son and his new bride. We booked Royal Limo for my son for immediatly following his Wedding Reception. Billy was in constant communication, arrived early with the beautiful Limo in spotless condition. with; his voicemail was always full so you could never leave a voicemail. Whenever he would finally return your calls, it would be between 9-10p!!! Not too happy about that. Initially, I was told that I would not have to pay a credit card fee since I was paying over the phone; however, I was charged anyway! We had to go to the business right before the wedding to sign our contract and trying to find the place was a joke. It was behind the airport in some shabby little construction site trailer; not impressed. On the wedding day, the limousine had a musty smell and the service was average. The only reason I would even give them a "3" is because of the very nice Excalibur that we were able to rent from a third party through RL. However, at the end of the night, the Excalibur driver told us we didn't even have to go through RL, that we could have contacted him a different way. So, all in all, I would recommend using Royal Limousine as a last resort; trying finding a better limousine company first!
