Royal Oaks Country Club

Allyson Brown the event coordinator and her staff were impeccable throughout the planning and during my daughter's wedding. I planned it from another city and she was always so helpful and accommodating when I came to town. The club is gorgeous with many opportunities for beautiful photos. The chef prepared a beautiful and delicious menu. The wait staff were professional but friendly. Allyson worked well with my other vendors and was great the day of the wedding - taking charge so I could enjoy the moment. I highly recommend Royal Oaks Country Club as a wedding venue.

Picking our venue for our wedding reception was the most difficult decision we had in the whole process but we could not have been happier to have chosen Royal Oaks! The entire space is beautiful and our guests were so blown away by the beauty, quality of food/drinks and service provided on our wedding day. Even more, Allyson is incredibly kind, patient and flexible! My mom had tons of questions and requests throughout the whole planning process (leading up to the big day), and Allyson was so accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Royal Oaks as a venue for your ceremony and reception!

Could not have imagined a more beautiful wedding! Allyson Brown is amazing and everyone she works with is amazing as well. Everything at my wedding turned out perfect. It was a true dream!

I got my wedding on early Oct 2016 here. It was perfect. I went to check the venue on Mar, it has purple pink flowers around the ceremony lawn outside, but in Oct it's gone, but it's fine, as long as it's sunny, our wedding was 5:30 pm, the sunset was beautiful. The venue lady Allyson Brown was more than amazing, she answered promptly on all my questions for my wedding while I was planning for it. I don't have wedding planner, she also worked with me to get me some options to get my budget down, she sent me a reminder weeks before my wedding asking for the schedule, when knew I don't have one, she suggested one, and we worked together to finalize one, it worked so well. She also was there to coordinate with my DJ for the ceremony and remind me the timeline for my wedding group to show up for the reception, and answered my questions all the time during the reception. I love her so much, she was sweet, professional, she made my day way much easier than I thought. And I really appreciate her volunteer work. ( I didn't expect all these to be honest) It has a lady dressing room on the 1st floor, which is has a wall of windows down to the ground, so big and bright, and they will serve fruits and snacks with nice presentation, very relaxed before the wedding. They have a servant lady there to help you out. Our ceremony is outside of the venue, so our guests don't need to travel, I think it's nice. The venue is very Royal style, and very classic. All my guests love it. The lights are easy to get dim, so the whole reception the lights are dim, which makes the night romantic and cozy. I put some leaves on the hanging lamp, it turns out to be so well. I really love it. The outside was club house, it's little bit hot around 4PM still, but it's very nice environment. I was surprised why this venue was not ranked high on the Houston wedding list, but I love it from the bottom of my heart, it made my day, and I would definitely recommend it to my friends for their event for future.

ROCC is a beautiful place to having a wedding reception! It has a great space to accommodate tables, dance floor, bars, photo booth, etc! Allyson the day off coordinator goes above and beyond to make sure the day goes as smoothly and as possible! All of our wedding guests have said how beautiful and perfect the venue was! We did a plated dinner of salmon and filet and it was delicious! Allyson was so willing to work with us with our guest count, room layout, menu, etc! She always returned phone calls and emails promptly! I couldn't recommend the venue more!!! We even took a few pictures down by the beautiful golf course the clubhouse overlooks! Our reception started at 5pm and we had the most amazing sunset view!

Royal Oaks was beautiful and wonderful! It was a little on the pricier side, but because we were partially planning a wedding away from Houston, we wanted a place where we could have ceremony, food, everything together. Our venue coordinator Allyson was really accommodating, answered my millions of email questions promptly, and was reasonable and upfront about any additional costs. Even though there was a last minute emergency that didn't allow Allyson to be there, our replacement venue coordinator Graham was just as awesome and on top of everything. We felt like the venue itself was so gorgeous that we only had minimal decorations. The food was delicious (we had the buffet, which we thought was the best and not over the top), and the appetizers were exotic and delicious. Of note, tasting is additional cost, so we just didn't taste it. For non-members there is a hefty fee, a food minimum, drink/food service charge, and service charge per person, but for the quality of the venue and the service, it was worth it. It was nice that all the costs were displayed upfront and we didn't have to worry about tips. They even provided valet parking, golf carts, set up our cupcakes, displayed our party favors, helped dismiss tables, provided extra tables as needed, allowed us to take pictures on the greens and in the wine cellar, and many other small details. All in all, Royal Oaks was probably the most gorgeous venue we've seen in Houston and they also made our wedding day a breeze!

Our ceremony and reception were a breeze with the exquisite staff of ROCC making all of our dreams come true. Allyson was not only a helpful Catering & Events Director, but also a true friend throughout the entire planning process, and especially on the day of. Allyson and Taylor stayed till each guest was gone to insure that all of our belongings were safely packed and stored. My experience was worry free, beautiful, and it will never be forgotten.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in April and we had an absolute blast. Allison was easy to work with and answered all of our questions and helped us meet our needs. During the reception she was running the show making sure food was served on time, cake, exit etc, and that we were still on our intended schedule. As for Royal Oaks, the venue is gorgeous, the views onto the well kept golf course offer a nice change from feeling like a reception in the middle of Houston. We used all three rooms and the weather permitted us to use the outdoor area for a cocktail hour which was awesome! Many of our guests were from out of town and they loved the venue too, we are very happy that we choose Royal Oaks as the place for our wedding reception!

We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception at ROCC, and everything was perfect. We were incredibly lucky that we had beautiful weather, and my grandmother said it was the most beautiful wedding she had ever been to. I received many complements from our guests on the venue and food, which was fantastic. We went with the stuffed balsamic french cut chicken, which was actually the most affordable option but which we liked the best at the tasting! The only slightly negative that I have to say is we did have a 1 1/2 year engagement, and the during that time they went through 3 event coordinators. All three however were very helpful. Allyson came on just a month or two prior to our wedding, but she picked up on everything very quickly and was extremely helpful.

I did not pay for the wedding, however, the experience was priceless. Beautiful outdoor wedding and indoor reception. It was wonderfully unforgettable.

Royal Oaks staff was both friendly & extremely helpful. They go the extra mile to be sure your day is absolutely perfect! The event coordinator was phenomenal and made me feel right at home. We had our actual ceremony outside, adjacent to the clubhouse, while our reception was help inside the clubhouse! It turned out absolutely breath-taking and I would definitely refer this venue to any and everyone interested in a beautiful golf course wedding! I truely am able to say, that I had my fairytale wedding!

Everything about Royal Oaks was INCREDIBLE. I was looking for a more sophisticated wedding reception venue, and this was it! It was gorgeous not only because of the decor that we brought in, but it was already so grand of a place.

The grounds are beautiful. The food, however, is expensive and inconsistent in quality (which may be expected of all wedding food). Be careful with checking food orders, as the coordinator mistakenly ordered a wrong item for us (which we agreed to pay half for after the fact).

The attention to detail by everyone was amazing. It was absolutely the perfect day, start to finish, and couldn't have asked for anything more.

I cannot say enough good things about Royal Oaks. We looked at several venues in Houston, but this one was it. The view, the decor, all beautiful. What made them different though, was the service. From the very beginning Liz was fantastic, answering all of my (crazy) questions, and always being so pleasant to work with. It made my entire wedding planning experience stress free. She offered advice, and made my ideas come to life. The day of the wedding was incredible. Words cannot express how grateful I am to all of the staff at Royal Oaks. They made us feel like royalty...and not just us...guests are still talking about their experience two months later. The food was beyond excellent, and I don't think they ever let anyone's glass get empty. The bar tender would have our drinks ready for us the moment he saw us headed in that direction. I couldn't have picked a better venue...from the beauty of the place, to the professionalism of the staff.

My daughter’s wedding reception was held at Royal Oaks Country Club on 2/26/2011 and I cannot say enough about their professionalism, attention to detail and help with vendors, not to mention their beautiful facility. Liz Esch, their catering & events director, is warm, helpful, competent and stayed at the reception the whole evening attending to every detail. We had looked at many reception venues but Royal Oaks proved to be the best in every way. Their sit down dinner was less expensive than their buffet and the dinner was elegant. They have 3 bars, 3 fireplaces and easily accommodated our 180 guests. We decided on the dance floor that was 24 X 20, which was large and perfect for our wedding. The service at the wedding was more than ample and they made every guest comfortable from the vegetarians to the children and all others in-between. I rate them "superior" in every way.
