We had our wedding at Ru's Farm in July and it was truly a perfect event. Kristen was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process and the day of could not have gone better. Our guests raved about the venue and we'd have to agree that it's a spectacular and special place. The views are stunning, the barn was a stellar place to have a wicked dance party, the outdoor space was perfect for our cocktail hour and dinner and the big oak tree was a phenomenal backdrop for the ceremony. Cannot recommend Ru's Farm enough. Awesome team and an awesome venue!

My husband and I had the absolute best experience hosting our wedding at Ru's Farm! From the first time we viewed the property and met Kristen (Director of Hospitality + Facility at Ru's), we knew it was the place for us. Kristen is the kindest person and we so easy & pleasant to work with. We also hired a majority of Ru's recommended vendors (catering, planning, etc), and they were such a well-oiled team to work with. We felt like we were working with people who were truly tethered to the Sonoma County community. Speaking about the venue itself - it's absolutely gorgeous. It's breathtaking even before you add florals! Our florist was able to draw on the natural beauty of Ru's, so the set up was absolutely stunning. All of our guests said it was one of the more beautiful weddings they've been to. Ru's is also a great location!! It feels like you're deep in wine county, but you're only a 7 minute drive from downtown Healdsburg. Also, don't worry about the 9pm cut off time. You still feel like you have a full event at the venue and you can keep the party rolling at one of the great bars in downtown Healdsburg! I can't recommend this venue enough - 10/10 experience!

Kristen Bringhurst, Director of Hospitality + Facility at ru's Farm, brings a bubbly and outgoing personality along with a deep passion for Wine Country. With an impressive background in customer service and event coordination in the wine industry, Kristen has honed skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and resource allocation. Kristen's connection to ru's Farm and Sonoma County runs deep. She grew up in the area and worked in catering at the venue, then known as Healdsburg Country Garden, at age 17. Before joining ru's Farm, Kristen was the Director of Operations at Fritz Underground Winery, where she optimized workflows and enhanced guest experiences. She is also the owner of Boards & Bottle, combining her love for wine and creativity. Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Design from UC Davis. In her free time, she enjoys being social, outdoor adventures, culinary explorations, and engaging in Sonoma County's vibrant happenings with her husband and daughters. Her intimate knowledge of the region and long-standing relationship with ru's Farm make her a perfect fit. here we wanted to get married. Our guests were absolutely in awe of the venue—it’s naturally beautiful, surrounded by olive trees, lush greenery, lavender, and that iconic oak tree that anchors the property in the most stunning way. It’s intimate, yet the space flows effortlessly, making it feel expansive and welcoming all at once. One of the best decisions we made was staying on-site at The Coop. Staying on the property wasn’t just beautiful—it was incredibly convenient, especially with all the moving parts of a wedding weekend. The house is spacious (even with vendors coming and going), and the views from the deck and back patio are stunning. The entire property is kept in pristine condition—it’s clear how much care goes into maintaining it. If you're a bride or groom getting married at Ru's Farm, staying here is an absolute MUST. It made our weekend so much smoother and more special. The location of Ru’s is also perfect—just minutes from downtown Healdsburg—making it easy for guests to find accommodations, explore, and get to and from the venue with ease. Another perk we loved: the venue allows you to serve hard alcohol, which is rare for wine country venues! Working with Kristen was a dream. She’s responsive, accommodating, kind, and genuinely excited for every couple that chooses to get married here. She made the planning process smooth and enjoyable. Words and photos truly don’t do this place justice—you have to see it in person to understand how special it is. We’re forever grateful for the memories we created here with our loved ones. A special shoutout to Kristen, the director at Ru’s, who helped make everything run seamlessly. She was incredibly accommodating, coordinating multiple site visits with me and my extended family. We also stayed at the Coop during our wedding weekend and loved being on-site to witness its gorgeous transformation and play host to our families as we got ready there on our wedding day. re the most welcoming and easy-to-work-with hosts. They truly set us up for success by giving us guidance on vendors, where to stay, and what is needed to put on a flawless event. I knew from the moment we toured the property with Lele that we were in great hands. If you do decide to book Ru's farm, be sure to book the on-property VRBO as soon as possible because staying in the Coop cottage really made our weekend and experience.

knew that it was our venue. The owner, Lele, was great throughout the entire process. Her list of preferred vendors is exceptional and she is very available for advice or help. The entire property was immaculate and the garden was beautiful for our day. The natural beauty and scenery helped us keep our floral and decoration budget to a minimum. The ceremony site was perfect- no need for an alter or any decorations. Lots of space for a large bridal party to stand up there with you too! The cocktail hour was pretty warm and sunny so plan your time of year accordingly- it was high 80s on our day and most of our guests hovered in the shaded regions of the venue rather than the main cocktail region. The reception site was beautiful and we fit our 100 guests very comfortably. The barn was perfect- I was worried it would be too dark but the lighting was great and guests had a great time on the dance floor as well as the nice side areas of the barn for conversations. We rented the coop for the bridal party too get ready and are very happy with that decision. The men got ready in the nest cottage which was pretty small and hot!! The only thing about our day I’d change is having the guys get ready off-site. We had a phenomenal experience at Ru’s and cannot recommend it more!!!

so you get to serve some of Sonoma’s best wines. All our wedding guests were in awe of the property, from the immense cork tree overlooking endless vineyards to the rose garden and olive tree groves. The environment cultivates intimate and relaxing vibes while modern touches elevate the aesthetic design, all of which shine in photos and videos. We also stayed overnight on the property at the gorgeous cottages, which made the entire weekend experience truly unforgettable. This place and the people laid the foundation for an exceptionally beautiful wedding experience!

time our wedding rolled around and while we were a bit nervous about that, we were so enamored with the property that we didn't think twice. The second I met Leighann, the new coordinator, all my nerves vanished! She brims with energy, ideas and passion. We had so much fun working with her and on the big day, she was so calm and professional. I love the improvements they've made on the property while still maintaining that rustic wine country charm that makes HCG such a gem. My guests couldn't believe the view - they are still telling us it was the most beautiful venue they've ever been to. We're still waiting on our professional pictures, but even the ones captured on iPhones were stunning. This is the type of venue that speaks for itself. You don't need to go crazy with your flower and decor budget. You can borrow their cute hutches, tables, boards & more and personalize them to fit your vision. The town of Healdsburg is so lovely too - my guests had the most amazing weekend. I can't say enough about this venue! Thank you, Leighann & HCG!

The gardens are perfect, the landscaping is natural, full of the most beautiful flowers and trees, and studded with adorable touches throughout (bird houses, a flower "bed" - haha, lanterns, and so on). The rose garden is lovely. The arbor through which you enter the venue is magical. The potting shed is adorable and such a lovely place to take photos. The lawn where weddings happen under the big oak tree is spectacular - great views, wonderful shade for all the guests, and magically special. And then there's the barn! Barbara is also an absolute joy. She's super organized, generous and kind, patient with stressed-out brides-to-be, and super flexible. She spends HOURS before EVERY SINGLE wedding, washing all the paths and trimming the plants so that everything is absolutely perfect. I wouldn't have believed that she actually did that until I SAW HER when we were visiting the venue for a walk-through with our wedding planner. Amazing dedication!! The lodging on-site is great. My aunt and uncle and some close family friends stayed in the house that's right next to the venue, and we used it as a staging area for the day-of - the groom and groomsmen got ready there, the whole bridal party and family hung out there and had snacks while guests were arriving - it was completely ideal. I can't imagine a more wonderful place to get married, if you want a wine country outdoor wedding in vineyards, gardens, and a rustic barn. It was perfect. Thank you, Barbara!

he price of the venue includes many things you would end up having to rent anyway - like tables, chairs, umbrellas, etc. Also, it is nice that you are able to use whichever vendors you want. However, Barbara does provide a great list for you to choose from, should you want to. It was a beautiful venue and I could not have asked for a more perfect location.
