could have imagined. The staff was able to create a beautiful evening, but also allowed for us as a couple to enjoy our experience and make our lives so incredibly easy throughout the process. Getting to essentially show up the night of our reception (with a short visit the Tuesday prior to drop things off), we weren't stressing over getting every small detail right. Rush Creek had it covered! The food was delicious, service was incredible. We just can't say enough good about everything we experienced. Thank you Rush Creek!

Would not allow us a rehearsal - even though the contract says you can pay extra for one. - Only one giant food tasting and it was in late February and our wedding was in May so we had to pre-determine what we wanted to have served at our wedding before we could even try it for our wedding invites. - The getting ready space downstairs is a cell phone dead zone. I had a large bridal party who had kids and one of the mom's missed 7 calls from her child's school. No one could provide us the Wi-Fi and our venue coordinator was MIA. - People with gluten allergies were served gluten food when I was told they wouldn't be, if it was on their card. I also sent a formal guest list and food selections of GF and allergies. One of the guests had a peanut allergy as well and she ended up not eating as she couldn't trust the food because they brought her out gluten and she couldn't trust they were being safe with the food. - The venue coordinator I worked with was not the best or at least nothing like the reviews, or maybe she hated me? I have no clue but she wasn't like the reviews that's for sure.. Her personality was not very kind, communication up to the wedding was almost nothing (I had to initiate all contact), she did the bare minimum, once we were allowed in the bridal suite we did not see her again 'till there was a hiccup in our dinner and that speeches started too early which was not a big deal, but the venue coordinator made us pause and wait till the champagne was served officially, so it was just awkward.

Rush Creek seemed to have more included initially (bridal & groom suites, beautiful inside/outside areas) as the process went on, even more things were included (votives, dessert trays, vases, easels). Every time we asked them something, it seemed like they responded with “absolutely we can do that!” or “of course you can use that as a decoration. In fact, drop it off before the wedding and we’ll set it up” it was such a relief and removed a lot of the stress. 2. They were professional and easy to work with. Our event coordinator, Kendra, was quick to respond and answer any question or concerns we had. She was always enthusiastic and happy to help. Her experience proved invaluable during the whole planning process. The day we dropped off the wedding decorations, we were late and decided to have lunch at the Highlander but Kendra (though in the middle of another wedding) took the time to make sure that all our final questions were answered and made sure we were taken care of at the restaurant. She strived to ensure the wedding was as stress free as possible and truly cared about us and making sure we could enjoy the day. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed working with Kendra and the whole Rush Creek team! 3. The venue itself is gorgeous. Walking into the ballroom the day of the wedding took our breath away. It was exactly how we hoped it would look. The venue also had a variety of different places where we could take pictures both inside and out. This was very important to us-we wanted the natural light and nature-y shots but since we had some family members with mobility issues, we needed nice places inside to take photos as well. There are so many nooks and crannies in the building and outside that we could have just spent 10 hours taking pictures in different locations. After getting the pictures back, it reminded us of an English Manor and not a golf club in MN. We had our ceremony outside, and the golf course in the background was so gorgeous we didn't add any additional decorations. We have received so many compliments on how beautiful of a backdrop that was for the ceremony. 4. The food was great. Wedding food isn’t always something that's mentioned, but Rush Creek has a connected restaurant which did a great job with the food throughout the day- from allowing us to build our own breakfast and lunch menu to late night snacks. There were a variety of options we could select from and they were all delicious. There were a lot of clean plates at the end of dinner. Their late night snack options (we got pizza), proved to be very popular! 5. Day of, the staff was helpful and went the extra mile. Staff was available to move the bride’s train and veil as she turned to walk down the aisle. Servers were easy to work with and always willing to help us. We were hosting a specialty drink and at the end of dinner, we were told they were running low on the specialty drink. Without hesitation they sent someone out to get more when we asked if they could. It was clear from that interaction that Rush Creek was committed to doing everything in their power to make sure the night went as planned. We highly recommend Rush Creek, they were a large part of why our wedding was so memorable.

We've had many friends tell us the food they tried at their tasting was was better than what was served at their weddings, but Rush Creeks food was just as amazing both times! The venue is beautiful, the bridal suite is HUGE and it was everything we hoped for and more! We cannot thank Rush Creek enough for making our day perfect!

Kendra called me immediately and helped us move our wedding day up a day (to avoid the mandatory shut down deadline) with less than 36 hours notice! Everyone at Rush Creek was helpful and friendly and our guests raved about the food and service. Through all of the planning, Kendra was beyond helpful and supportive and that continued even with all of the changes with COVID. We could not be more thrilled with our experience.

Our wedding day went off without a hitch - from 8am to 11:30pm, we had the best time. The reception was beautiful and the food was so good. Let me tell you: she ROCKS. She answered every question promptly, and helped us with tough decisions when it came to catering. The whole wedding day everything ran smoothly because of her and the amazing staff. The food is amazing, the views are great, and I couldn’t have asked for a better day or venue. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Kendra was AMAZING to work with. She was responsive, professional, helpful and caring. Kendra was always available to answer our questions and went above and beyond to accommodate every little detail and request we had. We are still being told how amazing our wedding was and we truly couldn't have done it without Kendra and her team. THANK YOU!

p. The excuse for her not showing up was traffic. The person who gave us the tour was the head chef and didn't do a great job at it. That's understandable because it wasn't her job. We also weren't able to see the whole venue because there was an event going on. I booked the Crown Room instead and have no regrets. If you're looking for professionalism this place is not it.

The venue has a very classy feel, from the huge windows that overlook the golf course, to the beautiful fireplaces, high ceilings, and beautiful lights! We loved that after the ceremony that was in the ballroom, our guests were able to go upstairs for the cocktail hour while the staff set up the ballroom for the reception. Dinner was delicious, that included a salad, bread, a choice of pan roasted chicken or a NY strip, mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley. We got so many compliments on the food! I can’t say enough great things about Rush Creek!!!!!

Guests were raving about the food all night, we did late night snacks too with pizza and cookies which guests also loved! I highly suggest having your ceremony be outside on the back patio as well, you will not be disappointed, our wedding was in April so we did not know if it would be a possibility to have it outside with the weather but it turned out to be a beautiful 60° day and we just had to notify the staff by noon the day of our wedding where we would like the ceremony. I highly recommend this venue!!!!

il blizzard of 2018, and the entire staff worked overtime to make sure we had a blast! When my husband and I arrived at the site, Kendra was standing at the entrance with each of our favorite drinks in hand. When the bridal party arrived, we all went downstairs where servers brought us tray-fulls of wine, beer, and appetizers to munch on while we game-planned what to do and take photos. When guests started leaving, the staff began shoveling cars out of spots so we didn’t have to. When my grandma left, they covered her with table linens so she wouldn’t get soaked from all of the snow. I could go on and on about this site and how amazing and accommodating they were. Every answer to my questions were “anything for you”, “whatever you need”. The food was incredible - guests raved about it all night and still to this day when we talk about the wedding! They accommodated every allergy and dietary restriction my guests had without any issue. I’m so grateful I chose to go with Rush Creek, and I would recommend them to anybody!!

s place, we discussed changed the day so I could have this place, and before I changed it I wanted to make sure my fiance loved it too. so we made an appoiment, and I could not remember the time of the appointment I called several times and never got an answer, unfortunately we passed on it. and never got to look at it again. just wish I got a call back, absultly loved this venue.

numerous questions throughout planning. If I were to do my wedding over, I would chose again to have the reception at Rush Creek, but I do have a few complaints: 1. They charge you for the food tasting. Options at the tasting are limited, and the food was not that great. Thankfully, it was much better at our reception. I think with how much money we spent at Rush Creek, they could afford to give us a free, quality tasting. 2. I was told that if I got my cake from the Country Cake Cupboard, it could be billed through Rush Creek and they would wave the cake cutting fee. I think for someone struggling to make the minimum spending requirement, this is a nice perk. However, in the case of our wedding, they upcharged the price of the cake more than the cake cutting fee. (i.e. they were waving the $150 cake cutting fee, but were charging $250 more for the cake plus taxes, service charge, etc!) Check your bill!

The staff was also exceptional - the best man ripped his jacket before the wedding and someone there was nice enough to sew it up and save the day! They set up our centerpieces and packed everything up like they said they would. We would highly recommend!

o finalize our wedding count only days before the wedding, which was nice. Pricing was fair and transparent. On the day of the wedding, the staff did an awesome job with set up - we delivered our decorations earlier in the day, and the staff did set up so we did not need an additional coordinator or family/friends to set-up - how awesome is that? The events were on time as expected, and the sound worked well for our video. Also, since golf was important to us, we were happy the course let us reserve spots at the driving range to hit some balls and walk along the edges of the course for some fun landscape pictures - this was the flexibility that we sensed from our tour meeting and it was true! A story that exemplifies the service we received was that the morning after our wedding, the groom couldn't find his phone. By 8am, we had a phone call from the hotel reception saying that a Rush Creek employee had dropped off the groom's cell phone at the front desk - this was above and beyond! Besides the people, the venue was beautiful on a lovely sunny spring evening - it doesn't require much dressing up and the landscape views are stunning and the patio was a blast. Can't say enough good things about this venue.

We were assured we would not be interrupted and the wedding would not interfere with our day. Unfortunately, our first look was interrupted by the other wedding party and the photographer walking in right when I was going to tap my husband on the shoulder. Also, we were instructed to return the day after our wedding to pick up wedding decorations. When we returned, none of the decorations were packed up (which we were told they would be). Overall, great experience (love Kendra and would recommend working with her!) just a couple hick-ups.

ound of golf for 4 for free. A few months after the wedding we came back for our "free" round of golf. AFTER we golfed she told us that only my round of golf was free and that the other 3 people would have to pay for their round of golf. She at least gave us a discount on the other 3, but said she hadn't written down in her notes the free round of golf for 4 so she wouldn't honor it. 2. My parents hosted the bar until dinner. They told us the tip jars wouldn't go out until after dinner since my parents were covering the tip (20%) as part of hosting the bar. However, the tip jars were out right away so our guest were paying for something that was already covered.

. She responded to my way too many to count questions/emails promptly. She is very professional and knows what she's doing. We had both the ceremony and reception there and it was truly amazing. I would recommend Rush Creek to anyone.

. I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator to work with. Rush Creek is such a beautiful and classy venue. One of my favorite things about having our wedding reception at Rush Creek was that they took care of set up and take down. It was 100% worry-free. The staff was great as well. They took care of everything. The night of the wedding Tanya (Rush Creek Employee) had everything taken care of before I would ask and she even boxed of pizza for me at the end of the night! She made sure the cake was boxed up and in the car of my in laws and that the guys got the gifts out to the cars as well. It was awesome! All of our guest were wowed by what a great venue Rush Creek is and I would strongly recommend this venue! I don't have a single negative thing to say about Rush Creek. It was more than I could have asked for.
