r journey started with Russell Morin, my husband and I were comfortable and knew we’d be in good hands since he has celiac disease and it was very important for us to find a caterer to provide a completely gluten free wedding. We initially started working with Nicole as our Event Producer and then changed to Wailynn that beautifully executed my vision on the day of! Wailynn was open to answering any question I had, making time to even hop on quick calls, and helped to take some of the stress away that I was feeling from wedding planning. Wailynn and the team also did bows for our wedding napkins, using the napkin rings I purchased. While it sounds so small, just the little attention to detail and executing this as part of my vision truly brought the entire tablescape together! It looked so elegant! Our newlywed attendant Judy was also a godsend! She was so attentive not just to myself and my husband but also to our moms / immediate family which was so appreciated! I never had to question whether everyone was okay and comfortable because the team took care of it! The entire team from food to beverage and everything in between was fantastic. Thank you to Russell Morin & Team for a beautiful wedding day! We are forever grateful and would highly recommend them for any event!

Our guests still cannot stop raving about the food 8 months later. Their attendants are professional, communicative and friendly. From our tasting through the day of coordination, we knew we were in great hands with with our planner and attendants (thank you Nicole and Cassidy!). We felt taken care of throughout the entire process.

our questions throughout the wedding planning process, to our estimate revisions as we modified our catering and rental choices, to little details on the day-of, we were in good hands. Our wedding planning coordinator, Nicole, felt like a teammate and was attentive over many months. Madelaine, our wedding day coordinator, absolutely nailed it. It was clear that she really cared and made sure things progressed perfectly with all vendors. She even dealt with a power loss in the reception hall during the wedding setup and we didn’t know about it until much later in the evening, attesting to how well she handled things. Madelaine captured our details and did an absolutely beautiful job with some of the decor that we brought and weren’t 100% sure what to do with it (for example, she set up a beautiful memory table with minimal guidance). All of Morin’s coordination with other vendors was seamless. As for the cocktail hour and reception, everything was great. The staff was seemed invested, and managed relocation of the outdoor bar without us even noticing. The food presentation was great and their staff was very professional. The portions were good, food was hot, and timing of the service was excellent. The team took great care of our wedding party throughout. They worked with our seating chart, delivered meals to the right place, and handled our guests’ dietary accommodations. Their catering menu had plenty of options. We received countless compliments from family and friends, and zero complaints about the food overall. We had a few minor complaints during the process. It sometimes felt difficult to get answers for multiple days during the planning process. We hope that Morin’s incorporates more FAQs, because we felt many of our questions were applicable to all couples. Making decisions on the spot during our tasting was stressful - the whole tasting experience felt rushed and we didn’t have much time to discuss our choices, causing us to make menu changes later. Doing the wedding rehearsal with our entire wedding party and immediate family in 30 minutes also felt rushed, though it seemed like the venue (Linden Place) set the rehearsal timing restrictions. There was also confusion regarding the bridal suite: we were originally told we could store our things there the whole night, and then told in the weeks before the wedding we needed to move everything after the ceremony; this caused confusion and a rush of people through the space when we were trying to enjoy a quiet moment after the ceremony. The father of the bride was also barred from the bridal suite before the ceremony, which made preparing to walk out stressful. Finally, the tipping policy was cryptic and procedure was overly complicated, especially when there was already an administrative fee at 18% of the significant food cost. When the big day arrived, Madelaine and the Morin's team took so much stress off both of us and allowed us to enjoy our wedding day. It was totally unexpected to have a personal attendant throughout the evening, a luxury that we were so thankful for. They really took all of the little details seriously. Our guests were pleased with the whole experience, which speaks to the professionalism of the staff. We can truly say it was the best day of our lives and we had so much fun!

e was our top feedback from guests, and the attention to every detail was incredible. The newlywed attendants made it so we were never waiting and happily fed all night long. Everyone was so kind and prompt, and our coordinator, Katherine, was super helpful and great to work with. If you are getting married in Rhode Island there is really no better option when it comes to catering.

. We did not have a separate wedding planner, so Russell Morin acted as the planner and coordinator for all three events (in addition to being the caterer). This involved coordinating with ~20 different vendors (DJ, audio equipment, florals, Indian caterer, band, henna artists, furniture rental companies, tent rental companies, decor rentals, and many more). The first night was a Welcome Night with drinks, passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations and passed desserts wherein we hosted ~275 guests at the International Tennis Hall of Fame. The event went off swimmingly and people loved the food. The following night, we hosted a Wedding Ceremony & Sangeet at the International Yacht Restoration School wherein we hosted ~350 guests. The event featured a ceremony, a cocktail hour, a Sangeet, dinner and dancing. The logistics of this event were complex due to the lack of an on-site kitchen and strict fire marshal regulations, but Russell Morin handled the logistics perfectly. Russell Morin brought in their partner Indian Accent to provide food for this event, though RM still provided all of the waitstaff, bar staff, event logistics and more. Finally, our third event featured a Baraat, Hindu Ceremony and dinner reception at Eisenhower House wherein we hosted ~350 guests again. Again, the event was executed perfectly, despite the venue also not having an on-site kitchen, the large guest count, and the added complexities of the Indian traditions like the Baraat and ceremony. Guests loved the food at all three events. The staff were a delight to work with. In particular, we want to thank Lizzy Desibia, who worked with us throughout our wedding planning process and executed all three of our events excellently. She was a pleasure to work with and has become a close friend of ours and our family’s through this process! Similarly, we want to thank Maggie Shields, our day-of coordinator, Emily Rachels, our ceremony coordinator, and Caryl and Emma, our newlywed attendants. Emily walked us and our family members through all the details of our ceremony during the rehearsal and then also guided us through the ceremony on the day-of. Caryl and Emma ensured we always had a drink, a full plate of food, or anything else we needed. All of the Russell Morin staff were fantastic and deserve high praise. We cannot recommend Russell Morin more highly for your wedding or for any other event. I’d recommend getting in touch with them as early as possible during your wedding or event-planning process, as they are real experts and can give you a lay of the land. Thank you, Russell Morin!!

The wedding planner that Russell Morin assigned to us (Nicole) was amazing - she responded to our emails quickly, scheduled multiple calls with us the month of the wedding, and ran a very organized ceremony rehearsal. The food was incredible - everyone had great things to say about the dinner, passed appetizers, and our signature drink. We were also assigned a newlywed attendant during the wedding. So many of our friends who got married at other venues or used other caterers told us that they barely ate or drank on their wedding day - that was not a problem for us! The team at Russell Morin made sure we had everything we could have wanted. We felt that we got so much value for what we paid. It was truly perfect. We highly recommend working with Russell Morin!

At first, we thought we might want some more choices/options than the library and Rusell Morin afforded; we soon realized that Russell Morin was exactly what we needed. Throughout the entire process we felt supported and comfortable. From the beginning we were paired with an amazing coordinator, Nicole, who was so prompt in answering our questions and keeping us on track with everything that needed to be done. At the end of the process, we worked once again with Dan, who was our absolutely stellar day-of coordinator, bringing us to a perfect full circle. The venue: the venue of the PPL is absolutely EXQUISITE – it looks fantastic in photos and does not need much/any additional decoration. The space also works extremely well for having a ceremony on site and flowing into the rest of the evening and events. The food: THE FOOD IS AMAZING. One of my favorite memories of the entire wedding planning process was the tasting we did with Russell Morin. We had such a hard time narrowing down all the incredible choices! We have received so much positive feedback from our guests. A special priority for us was the vegetarian option, as they often get short shrift at weddings; the vegetarian option (butternut squash risotto) at our wedding was one of the most popular dishes. We did a make your own cannoli bar for dessert that was a huge hit. Also they were able to accommodate our custom cocktails with a specific liquor that we wanted to include. Absolutely incredible and I wish I could eat it all again. The people: The most important and highest recommendation that I have is the people at Russell Morin. They are so thorough, professional and kind. Nicole helped us bring our vision to life, answering our questions and helping us feel grounded and on track. Dan truly went above and beyond on the day of, including driving through a snow storm to drop off our marriage license (which we had forgotten in the venue at the end of the night). He managed every moment so flawlessly and everything went so smoothly. We could not have asked for a better experience.

We chose WaterFire Arts Center (in Providence, RI), on a Tuesday with a morning ceremony which was the perfect recipe for a stunning Autumn wedding. It was beautifully executed. Krista helped us orchestrate so many moving parts inclusive of myself as bride (and pianist for my own wedding!), my Dad who played saxophone, father-in-love who officiated, a harpist, cellist, painter and our DJ. So many creative vignettes that were managed with lots of love and care! Working with RM from start to finish was incredible from our initial zoom call, flying in for countless site visits, tasting experiences, creating our floor plan, working through the ebb and flow of our wedding, guest layout, and so many other details! Although I didn’t eat much the night of the wedding, the food was delicious and plentiful. The attendant that they provided us was very proactive about providing us with food and drinks throughout the night. They even gave us a box of food to go home which was so sweet. Christina was fantastic to work with and made us feel very confident that our day would go off without a hitch.

food, from the passed appetizers, to the raw bar, to the meal, passed deserts and cake - everything was spectacular. So many of our guests said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. My husband and I both had the filet and it was top notch - we both made sure we made time to eat the amazing food! Liz was our coordinator and she did an excellent job, anything that I mentioned or asked for happened immediately. Everything ran incredibly smoothly and I know it was because Liz was on top of it and taking care of things behind the scenes. The entire staff we had on our wedding day was excellent, everyone from the wait staff to our oyster shucker was friendly and our guests said they really went above and beyond to get everyone what they asked for and make it extra special. We would highly recommend, I wouldn't have changed a thing, the catering and venue was perfect!

I wouldn't have wanted to work with any other team. The entire staff on the wedding day conducted the wedding so perfectly and they were so helpful!!! And of course, the food was AMAZING! I also came to the venue with quite detailed instructions of how I wanted my provided inventory set up for the different aspects of the wedding (bar, entrance, table settings) and the RM team had no issues with it and they set it all up perfectly! I cannot recommend Russell Morin enough!! They are top tier!!!

From touring the venue with our coordinators to our food tasting, Kelsey and Liz were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were both easy to communicate with and ensured any questions or concerns were addressed. The day of our wedding, things could not have gone more smoothly. Everything went according to plan and the day was incredible. Our guests are still raving about how good their meal and the passed hors d'oeuvres were! Once we finally decided to move forward, we were assigned an Event Success Manager, Krista, who was absolutely amazing. She was very thorough and extremely organized, helping us keep track of everything way in advance making me feel at ease. We were lucky enough to have her as our Day-of Coordinator, and she made sure everything went as we discussed. The catering team also provided us a Newlywed Attendant Shaila, who made sure we always had a fresh drink in our hands and got to try all the hors d'oeuvres that we missed during Cocktail Hour due to pictures. Lastly, the food was very delicious! We got so many compliments from our guests during and after the event. It was the most perfect wedding that I never imagined I could have, and I owe it all my awesome vendors, including Russell Morin. Thank you again and I recommend them to anyone considering RM to choose them!
