Rich was super easy to work with - as a bride who did not have a super set idea on what I wanted for florals, all I did was tell him my wedding colors and show him some pinterest photos I had favorited for inspiration...and that was all he needed to create the perfect florals for me! I kept it simple (just bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces) since I didn't want to spend a fortune on florals, and Rich was able to work with me to keep me under my budget. I'm so glad I chose RW Designs as my florist!

Rich knew exactly what flowers I needed for my wedding day. I wanted things to be simple and classic and elegant and he delivered. Everything went smoothly and Rich was so easy to work with! LOVED my flowers!

We just reviewed our wedding photos this week as a fun one year anniversary date. We were so happy with Rich Wests work!! I came into the initial meeting not knowing anything about flowers. Rich did a great job! Our flowers were better than I ever expected and exactly what I wanted. We had so many compliments and still get them. He had them sitting at the church ready to go. He had done a wedding before at our church so he literally had all the flowers sitting where the girls got ready and the boys flowers where the boys got ready! SO GREAT!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!

Perfection!!! I cannot describe just how gorgeous the flowers were for my daughter's December wedding. Absolutely 100% what we asked for. Working with Rich was the "plus" in the whole deal! He is a pure delight and listened to exactly what my daughter wanted and guided her to just the right flowers to create a very classy wedding. He carefully told us what to avoid to come off "gawdy or cheap" looking. He stayed right in our budget and even told us when we didn't need something we thought we did. He really cares!

I loved working with Rich! He helped me figure out exactly what I wanted despite my lack of flower knowledge. He put together beautiful arrangements and was reasonably priced. He was professional and just great to work with. I highly recommend him for beautiful reasonably priced wedding flowers.

I was absolutely stunned when I saw the beautiful bouquets Rich designed for us! He executed my vision better than I could've even imagined! My sister and I got married a day apart and threw one big reception, so we hired RW for everything for both ceremonies and reception centerpieces. We had different color schemes, but worked to keep them complementary while planning. We did separate planning/creative consultations with Rich at his very stylish Maplewood studio, and ended up choosing similar color palettes for the bouquets. Here is what REALLY impressed me: he created totally different bouquets for each of the weddings that perfectly fit the styles of our weddings and our personalities! He tied everything together through a cohesive color scheme, similar boutonnieres for the 2 sets of men, and all of our reception pieces were the same: beautiful roses in Revere bowls that complemented both color schemes. This guy is a genius! Easily one of the best in St. Louis.

Rich West was wonderful to work with! He was very intuitive when it came to complementing the colors, shapes, textures, genres, etc. that I already have in mind for my wedding. Furthermore, he is very flexible and will do anything to include specific desires a bride may have. For instance, he met such requests of our wedding as including calla lilies and little silk lilies of the valley from a godmother's bridal bouquet in the new bridal bouquet and creating crowns of baby's breath for the flower girl. On top of that, he has an uplifting personality and imbues joy and beauty into your wedding! I would recommend Rich West to any bride in search of a florist!

Rich West designed and created the most gorgeous flowers for our two daughters' weddings last weekend! He is wonderful to work with and very reasonably priced, too. He listens to what the brides want and can just take a small amount of information to create beautiful bouquets, church arrangements and reception centerpieces. We highly recommend him and his floral services! He made our daughters' wedding dreams come true!

Rich was energetic and helpful for brides who have some idea but aren't quite sure what specific flowers they want. He has lots of ideas, but is very flexible and will do what you want in the end. He was willing to make changes to my order on several occasions. The flowers turned out beautiful, and were at the church waiting for us when we got there. I would recommend Rich to future brides.

I asked for dyed blue dendrobium orchids and hoped he could do them well, since he said he had done them before--but couldn't provide any photos (as a designer, I couldn't imagine not getting a photo of big project for reference)--and had 30 years experience. * Some of the flowers in my bouquet were dying, which ruined highly-anticipated close-up photos. The flowers were not of the quality I expected. * My bouquet was way too large for me (I'm only 5' 2" and disabled). I had asked it be scaled down to a good size for me. He gave me the diameter, but I couldn't picture it, so perhaps that's my fault. My bouquet was also well over double the price of my bridesmaids' bouquets, despite only being a couple inches bigger and the same flowers. Just a bridal up charge as far as I can tell. * All the bouquets lacked in orchids on the bottom of the bouquet, which looked odd. The inner flowers were hydrangeas to be cheap fillers, but there shouldn't have been only hydrangeas showing at the bottom with absolutely no orchids. I wanted to stick to a budget, but I'm always willing to spend more if needed to get what I want. Unfortunately, I did not get what I wanted either way. * He convinced me to do magenta flowers on my cake, instead of the blue dendrobiums, despite being in a different room from the magenta centerpieces. I didn't like the outcome and wished I stuck to the blue dendrobiums. They were also not put on in the way they were in the photo I showed him. I wanted them bunched up in groups, which they were not. * My centerpieces were not what I had shown him I wanted. The flowers were supposed to be wired around the the perimeter in bubble bowls, but he just dumped them in water. They looked okay, but they weren't what I wanted. * I liked the idea of the rented LED bases for the centerpieces, but they were so much larger than the bubble bowls, I don't think they actually looked very good. The lighting they gave on the flowers, however, looked nice. * The boutonnieres looked fine, and the only complaint I had about the entry room floral piece is the extra bunched up wire at the top. The top 5th of the cylinder had no flowers whatsoever, just wire. The rest of it looked fine, but this part did not. * When there was a discrepancy between what he said I owed and what I said I owed (after doing the math), he shooed us out because it was 5 minutes until his next client. I ended up having to spend more money on another check, envelope, and stamp, as the amount he gave me was not accurate (it contained an extra boutonniere he didn't mention when we went over each item) because he couldn't spend 30 seconds more showing me what he had listed while I was in there. If this was the only issue, I wouldn't have cared, but it was an extra annoyance. * Other than the check issue and the flowers not being what I wanted, he was pleasant to work with and helped me figure out what we could do from the ideas/photos I had in my budget (of course those turned out to be not what I wanted). Had I not shown exact photos of everything I wanted, I could understand a miscommunication, but when I showed exact photos in person and emailed them to ensure he had them for reference, I expected to get what I wanted. The flowers were truly my biggest disappointment on the wedding day. I wish I had gone with the inexperienced florist who had a much larger minimum purchase but had beautiful photos of the flowers I wanted on her website.

Rich did an amazing job helping me design my centerpieces and floral arrangements. I had an idea of what I wanted, and he helped me make sure it would look as amazing in person as it did in my head. He was reasonably priced, and was worth every penny! I would highly recommend him!

Your patience and understanding of the magnitude of anxiety planning weddings creates, really helped to calm my fears. You took flowers and ambience to another level all while exceeding my expectation and yet staying within my budget. You made simplicity look so elegant. The wedding planner and my mother actually cried when they saw the ceremony and reception room. Everyone was highly complementary of the decor all night. Rich is simply amazing! I changed my flowers up a bit a few months before the wedding and he was very easy to work with. When he delivered the bouquets the morning of my wedding I was almost in tears. All my flowers were perfect! I told him exactly what I wanted and when I saw the centerpieces they were better than I had imagined! He listened to what I asked for down to every little detail. Rich West is amazing! I had 2 friends who previously used him for their weddings, so I booked an appointment to meet with him in person. I immediately liked him and knew I wanted him for my wedding. He was so easy to work with and provided ideas and balance to my vision. He listened to my needs / wants and turned it into something beautiful. My June wedding was at the Botanical Garden, which is gorgeous by itself, so I need some flowers that would stand out but not overpower. I chose a simple poof of baby's breath for my 8 bridesmaids' bouquets, and an amazing arrangement of purples for my bouquet. The flowers at the reception were nothing short of amazing as well! The centerpieces alternated between tall and short with hydrangeas, roses, lisianthus, and more! I would definitely recommend Rich West and RW Designs!

Rich west helped me a lot with my flowers. I had no idea what I wanted and all I new were the colors that I wanted. my center pieces were amazing and my. I loved my bouquet so much. Rich is the best florist hands down.

Rich did a wonderful job as the florist for my wedding! We only needed flowers for the ceremony and not the reception. We had a tight budget. Rick listened and worked with us. He was never pushy to get us to spend more. The flowers turned out GORGEOUS. So many compliments. They were classic but also unique. When we sat down to talk colors and flowers, he had a ton of great ideas and he told me if he thought something would look bad. You can tell he takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend him.

We weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but Rich was able to put together a perfect design. He included bright colors and a variety of flowers. Everything from the bouquets to the boutineers to the flowers on the cake were gorgeous. He did a fabulous job!

Rich is so easy to work with, and my flowers were absolutely gorgeous! We gave him a budget and he made our vision come true within that price. I especially felt like my centerpieces looked very grand and expensive, and I didn't have to go over budget to make this happen. I came to Rich on very short notice, 2 weeks before my wedding, because I ended up under my budget with a little extra money for real flowers. Rich was very respectful of my budget and open to working with my ideas. He presented me with lots of options in flowers, sizes, and colors and was very easy to talk through ideas with. The bouquets he put together were beautiful and exactly what I envisioned and what we talked about. Rich delivered the flowers to my on the day of exactly when he said he would. I am so happy that I went with him for my wedding flowers.

Rich at RW Designs was so great to work with! From the beginning I gave him the ideas for the wedding and he ran with it. The bouquets and centerpieces were great, delivered and set up on time and they even took the time to lay out the table runners and ensure everything at the reception area was exactly how we wanted it! The bouquets looked beautiful all day and evening and we were able to use the centerpieces at the brunch the next day!! Rich has great talent combined with excellent quality and service. I would definitely recommend him for any event!!

Rich was so fabulous to work with. He understood my vision immediately and made it even more beautiful than I could have imagined! My flowers were absolutely exquisite, and the amount of compliments I received was astronomical. In terms of our centerpieces, they were STUNNING. We used unique elements like potted kale and artichokes, and Rich made them autumnal with bittersweet berries and branches. They were just gorgeous. I had wanted elements that weren't common in centerpieces but that still had such an elegant quality to them. I had multiple guests tell me that they were the absolute most beautiful centerpieces they had ever seen--and I would have to agree. Rich did a magnificent job--and wasn't as pricy as he could have been because he does not have overhead costs!

Our florist did an amazing job with the bouquets and the table arrangements! The colors we chose (varying shades of yellow) were beautifully highlighted by the vibrant flowers Rich provided. It brought the reception room to life. Thanks Rich!

RW is very knowledgeable about flowers and is good at understanding your vision. He didn't exactly listen to all my requests but the flowers still turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend him.
