I have worked with Holly a number of different times for invitations and all our day-of paper goods from 2019-2021 for our wedding, which was postponed twice. After we had sent out our full invitation suite, we had to make the difficult decisio...
n to move our wedding out a year due to the pandemic. Holly supported us by sending out postponement announcements and was so incredibly kind by adding in extra design support at no extra cost. She surprised us by adding the same unique design she came up with for our invitation suite for our postponement announcements. Fast forward to our wedding day, Holly worked on all our day-of paper goods and they could not have turned out better. Holly's package includes 2 sets of proofs for approval and she gave us so many different options that really played to our theme and then some. It was so difficult to just pick one design for everything. On a couple items, I wasn't really sure how it would turn out, but given Holly's past work, we gave full trust. When we received the goods in person, they were better than I could've ever imagined. Even with all the supply chain issues and shortages, she had warned us that some colors may not be available, but we did not even notice and ended up with all colors that looked so great for our wedding. I believe Holly also prints and makes everything herself so the turnaround time for getting all the goods to us was incredibly fast after we had approved the final proofs. Finally, Holly is just such a creative, kind, and great person. Everything was perfect and she works so hard for her clients. We feel incredibly lucky that she was part of our vendor team. I highly recommend her to anyone for any paper goods needs!

From the moment we started working with her, she was so kind, clear at communicating, and both quick and thorough with her responses to my many questions and requests. I am someone who likes everything done "just right," but it became evident early on that Holly was going to do that and I didn't need to worry about a thing. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 Pandemic brought on months of uncertainty about our wedding day, and it ultimately forced my husband and I to postpone our reception. With all of the stress and disappointment, I cannot say enough about how helpful and calming it was to have Holly's support and flexibility throughout the whole thing. She was constantly making herself available to us to discuss different options for our invitations/postponement announcements and asking how she could help. Everything additional we needed made to announce our change of plans, Holly produced at-cost and worked with her printers to save us as much money as possible. Knowing that her business was also being negatively affected by the pandemic, we were so impressed by her integrity, concern for us, and the fact that she wasn't trying to take advantage of our situation. One of the bright spots of having our reception postponed is that we will get to work with Holly again when we re-do our invitations next year. Everything she makes is stunning, but beyond that, she treats the people she works with like they are close friends or family. I cannot say enough great things about her! You will not regret hiring Holly and Sablewood to make whatever paper goods you need :)

Holly was also easy to communicate with. I was able to do most of our correspondence through email and phone, but had the chance to sit down with her for a consultation and bring her some vintage stamps we wanted on our invites.
Holly makes your work easy (providing addresses) by sending you clear instructions and pre-made fill-in e-documents to put in your contacts. Holly was also great to work with during the COIVD-19 craziness!

After our consultation, she put together a proof of the design immediately after (so fast and it was perfect!) and has been extremely communicative through the entire process of ordering the items, putting them together, and sending them to our guests. For an extremely indecisive bride with a lot of questions, Holly was more than I could ever ask for. In addition to the ease of the entire process, our final invitation suite was beyond anything I could have ever hoped for and we are so excited for our guests to be receiving these (especially during these uncertain times). I emailed Holly and she was quick to respond and very excited to hear all about my plans for the big day. Since our first conversation I knew that she had the attention to detail and expertise I was looking for. She helped me through every part of the process in deciding what signs I wanted, what materials we should use, what colors I wanted, down to the type of ribbon we would use. After we discussed my initial ideas she got to work and executed perfectly on the first try. She also allowed for a review and opportunities to make changes, although they were not really needed.
I thought I had an idea of what everything would look like after seeing it digitally a few times, but when I opened the box with the final pieces, I was blown away – these items exceeded my wildest expectations. She carefully packed everything and it arrived in perfect condition. The colors were exactly as we discussed, and the materials were beautiful. I had Holly make programs for our ceremony, our welcome letter for hotel guest bags, seating cards, place card seating sign, our reception welcome sign, guest book sign, cards + gift sign, sweetheart table sign, ‘dancing shoes’ sign, and our cake topper. It all came together beautifully!
Everything that Holly created played a beautiful role in helping to set the tone for our wedding. From the welcome letter being the first thing everyone saw to the ‘dancing shoes’ sign on our basket of flip flops that everyone noticed as they were dancing the night away, it was perfect. Working with Holly started by chance and now I look forward to working with her for years to come!
