We worked with Monica and her husband Matthew with Sacred Rim Event Planning for our wedding this past week at Diamond Cross Ranch in Jackson, Wyoming. Words cannot even describe how amazing they are to work with! We met her in July 2023 and the entire year with her was effortless, smooth and she is BY FAR the most organized person I've ever met. She and Matthew absolutely blew us away with all the attention to detail and how PERFECT our wedding day turned out to be. They are kind, professional and made our entire wedding as easy as it could have been. We adore them both and cannot recommend them highly enough!
If you are considering hiring a wedding coordinator: a. do it and b. hire Sacred Rim! Planning a destination wedding was TOUGH and Monica was invaluable during our planning process. Though we vetted and hired the vendors ourselves, she made herself available for questions and provided suggestions and advice when we needed it on several occasions during the planning process. Monica seamlessly took over all communication the month before the wedding and nailed down the final details, asking questions we never would have thought of to bring together the layout and timeline. On the day of the rehearsal, Monica and Matt were a source of calm when we ran into issues with several vendors. They navigated the challenges with grace and ease that can only come with experience in the industry and which I certainly could not have provided in my emotionally-heightened state. On the day of the wedding, they took care of literally everything and made sure it was exactly as we’d discussed. Their communication up to and during the event was impeccable. We were amazed at how on top of everything they were—they knew what we wanted before we even knew we wanted it. All of our family commented on how great they were! We could not have done it without them and we are so grateful.
Gosh where do I even begin. Monica and Matthew went above and beyond my expectations. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but these two made everything go incredibly smooth. I got nothing but the highest compliments from our guests how amazing Monica and Matthew were. They were so funny, and so incredibly down to earth. I really appreciated how transparent they were with communication! It was a bittersweet goodbye, but they’re always welcome in Boulder, Wy in the future as friends now!! I couldn’t recommend them enough!
Monica and her team went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly the week of our wedding. It was so nice to be able to let go and let Monica take the reins leading up to our big day. She is so very detailed and organized that I would have been lost without her! HIGHLY recommend her services!!!
Where do I even begin?! Having Monica as our wedding planer is the BEST decision we've made ever! Monica truly is a dream to work with for the past 14 months since we decided on our venue. She's the kindest, most organized, and sweetest person - if you are still trying to find a planner for your wedding, don't think twice. You will not regret having Monica plan out every little thing for you. Her husband, Matt, is also an absolute delight to work with on the day. Our wedding day at Diamond Cross went exactly as what we had planned and guests were saying it was a "Magazine-Level" wedding! Thank you Monica and Matt for making our big day the best day ever!

Monica was ontop of everything, when i would think to myself if i was forgetting something, Monica had already emailed me about it and made sure it was taken care of. Monica’s creativity and vision of what i had wanted was spot on. Monica made wedding planning easy while i was a first time mom, managing 9 people at work, planting 6% of CA wine grapes, moving states and more! Everyone in my entire family will be talking about our wedding for years to come! I also want to boast about Monica’s ability to do what’s best for her clients. While finding rentals in our price range Monica took charge for us and for that i am so grateful! Monica, thank you so much and i would encourage everyone to work with Monica + Matthew!
We hired Sacred Rim Event Planning for our wedding in Jackson WY and it was the best thing we did for our wedding! Planning an out of state wedding is stressful, but Monica made it so seamless. She was so kind, so responsive, and handled everything before it even crossed our mind! The week of the wedding is the most stressful part, when all vendors are communicating and creating their timelines, and it was such a relief to have Monica handling everything. My grandparents even commented on how thoughtful Monica and her husband were, helping them into their seats and serving their dinner plates. Again- hiring them was the best thing we did for our wedding. I cried at the end of the night and gave them the biggest hug... we could not have done it without them and could not recommend them enough!!!
If you’re thinking of reaching out or hiring Sacred Rim - 1000% recommend! There was absolutely no way we could’ve had a successful destination wedding in Jackson Hole without Monica & Matthew!! They are both the sweetest and very professional!
We went with the coordination package which was perfect for our small intimate wedding – and affordable! However, don’t let affordable fool you on quality – Monica & Matthew went ABOVE AND BEYOND in every aspect and most importantly was reachable, supportive, and very responsive (this was a huge must have for us as some planners took 2+ weeks to respond to an email!)
Monica was extremely organized throughout the months leading up to the wedding and thought of every scenario and asked me questions I would’ve never even thought of! She was very involved in communications with all vendors and had well thought out timelines and layouts which helped the day run smoothly! Monica & Matthew also had a very calming energies that helped so much when anxieties were running high!
Our wedding was very tricky because of course in Jackson Hole fashion, a huge storm rolled in the day before (forecasting multiple feet of snow!) so we kept going back and forth between our weather backup plans. I really wanted our ceremony to be outdoors and Monica made it happen! It was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way! She worked closely with the venue to ensure everything was safe for our guests and still looking the way we wanted it to. They both made our dream wedding come true and we couldn’t be more grateful!!

Monica and her partner were excellent. We travelled out of state for our wedding so it was so important for us to have someone local who could assist with in-state recommendations and communication. Despite not having as much time to see and communicate with each other in person, the Sacred Rim team did an amazing job of executing our special day. Our wedding was just what we imagined and more, and its largely in part to The Sacred Rim team. Thank you again!

Leading up and on the wedding day, Monica and Matt were both incredibly professional and so so friendly! They were on top of every little detail, that I didn't have a single worry or concern on the morning of the wedding. They go above and beyond to make sure you are happy and enjoying the biggest day of your lives! Everything was absolutely perfect!

The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Sacred Rim Event Planning. The whole process was phenomenal. Monica was quick to respond and answering any questions we had. She found us other great vendors as well. Her and Matthew were excellent with day of coordination as well. They really brought our vision to life and made the day seamless so we could enjoy our wedding day. I would recommend 100% Sacred Rim Event Planning to anyone!
Monica and Matthew were such a pleasure to work with!! They are so incredibly organized, have great ideas/suggestions, and are so easy to work with. I hired them as my day-of coordinator, but Monica gave me good vendor recommendations, and took over coordinating with the vendors 2 months prior to my wedding date. They saved me so much stress, and I was comfortable to hand over the reigns to them. Thank you both for everything you did!
Without a doubt hiring Monica was the best decision I made during my wedding planning process. She organized everything, built out the timeline, helped get all my vendors in order, reviewed contracts - she took all of the stress of planning and organizing off of my plate so my family and I were able to enjoy every moment of my wedding day. We are not local and she allowed us to ship a lot of the decor to her which was so helpful - she kept everything so organized and was so willing to go above and beyond for us. Monica is also one of the sweetest people I have ever encountered. Her husband, Matthew, also helped with the rehearsal/day of the wedding and was wonderful to work with. They were both such a calming presence and had the entire day running smoothly. I would highly recommend hiring Monica as your planner - you will not regret it!
One of our best decisions for our wedding day was hiring Monica & Matthew so early on into wedding planning! Not only did we choose a destination completely across the country (we are SC residents who flew to the Jackson Hole WY area), we also chose a location we'd never visited/seen prior to arrival 3 days before our wedding day! Early on, Monica assisted with a venue tour & sent photos, notes, etc., she was available any time I needed her & was always quick to respond with detailed/helpful insight; if she & Matthew had an upcoming wedding to work, she was always extremely polite in letting me know that she'd get back to me as soon as possible. Monica was always so kind, professional, organized, and prompt throughout the planning process - even when I did have a million questions/concerns. She was friendly and direct throughout the planning process, especially when it came to supporting our conversations and decisions with other vendors! While we didn't meet Matthew until the day of, he was a BLESSING to have there - he was so friendly & helpful the entire day, assisting anyone who needed anything! We both LOVED having them there for our rehearsal and wedding day & we KNOW it wouldn't have gone as half as great as it did without them! Wow, I can’t say enough good things about the help, support and service that Monica and Matthew provided! My husband and I were initially very hesitant about hiring a wedding planner, but it was worth EVERY penny. The day of the wedding was absolutely stress free and PERFECT, thanks to Monica and Matthew. We 100% recommend Sacred Rim Event. Communication, interaction, help and services were all 5/5!
Where do I even begin?! If you have any doubt, or you are between multiple event planners, choose Monica! Monica made every dream my husband and I had of our wedding become a reality. She thought of every little thing and had the most amazing ideas. Having her husband Matthew help as well on the day of the wedding was the cherry on top to make us speechless with how amazing they both were! I can honestly say the day of my wedding was so carefree and perfect all because of how amazing Sacred Rim Event is! My husband and I never even lifted a finger to do anything at all besides show up and enjoy our day. It is also a huge bonus with how kind and easy it is to work with Monica and Matthew.
Monica was amazing! We had looked at 5 different event planners/coordinators from the Jackson Hole & surrounding areas. From the moment I chatted with Monica on the phone, we knew she was the one for us! Before we had even committed to Monica, she was already sending us ideas & vendor contact lists for our spooky themed wedding. She would let us mail decor & wedding stuff to her, which honestly was SUCH a huge help because we were driving up from LA and had max capacity in the car haha.
Prior to the wedding she let me text / email her any questions and her response time was always amazing. We ran into super slow responses from some of our other wedding vendors in JH so it was such a breath of fresh air to have our coordinator be so attentive. Our venue was pretty bad at communication in the months prior to the wedding. My mom passed years ago and we don't have any family who lives near us, so I planned everything on my own, and when the venue really dropped the ball on communication it was a heavy load to take solo. Without Monica I would have been in full panic mode. She was so cool and collected and took care of everything with our non responsive vendors. She was also super organized in following up with all of the missed emails from the venue.
I visited JH 2 times prior to the wedding, and she took the time to travel both times to meet with the Venue contacts and me as well. She and her husband are both super warm people who go above and beyond for you. They also were hosting a separate event for Wind River Brewing in Pinedale thanking the town for support through the pandemic, and invited us to attend. It was a great event and you can tell they just work superb as a team!
Planning a wedding long distance to Jackson Hole was very hard. Jackson Hole is slammed in general with weddings & almost every vendor collectively said they are understaffed in the times of abundant weddings + shortage of labor. I felt for all of them, but at the same time you only get married once & need stuff done. I think back to to all the phone calls I had with other coordinator/planners and was beyond grateful we went with Monica. Personality alone, she was the right blend of "get-it-done" but also so chill, which was everything we really needed throughout the process. Also, she is just a good human haha. Which is really important for event planning. I work in entertainment in LA and there are a lot of monsters who run event planning companies which is why I was hesitant to hire a planner at all. Monica was everything we needed in a planner and had the sweetest demeanor to match.
Both my husband and I got along great with her and enjoyed working with her throughout the process. She made our special day even more special and was a joy throughout the process. We were sad when it was all over to not get to work with her anymore haha. We got a surprise wedding gift from her and her husband and it was such a special touch.
All in all: Monica goes above and beyond and has a knack for detail & special touches. She is lovely to work with and her communication / response time, was the absolute best! (Which my takeaway as a bride was that communication is the most important thing). You will not be disappointed to go with Sacred Rim. More than that, if you are having a Wyoming (or surrounding area) wedding, based upon the experiences I had with other vendors, it would be a mistake to not go with Monica/ Sacred Rim!
Monica was an absolutely delight to work with. My husband and I planned a destination wedding in Jackson Hole so it was helpful having someone who knew the area and could provide recommendations early on. Monica was very affordable for the “day of“ coordinator we needed. A couple months before the wedding Monica got really involved with vendor communication and timelines which was such a relief and just what we needed. She was so organized, followed up and was super responsive. The timelines she established and details she thought of were super helpful. Monica also offers rental so this was convenient for some things we needed like cake stands and card box, etc. Another amazing thing about Monica was she let us ship things out to her and since we were traveling from Boston and couldn’t take it all out with us. This was a huge relief. She even took some decorations off our hands after the wedding so we didn’t need to travel with them. Rehearsal and day of went off so smoothly. Monica handled our venue decor set up which was HUGE for us since we brought/shipped everything. It was a windy day and she still managed to get that arch up for the ceremony!! I seriously would have been lost without Monica for this wedding, and cannot imagine the day without her. She made the wedding day go by without worry and had everything under control. Monica is an absolute sweetheart and got along with everyone in the wedding party, we can’t speak highly enough of her! Thank you Monica!!!
