Saffron & Grey made our wedding day magical with the perfect flowers and greenery. I came in with vague descriptions (and little knowledge of flower types), and they were able to take my ideas and create the perfect arrangements. My bouquet was to die for, my bridesmaids' bouquets were perfect, the flower petals along the aisle were stunning (and made for a fun photo prop later!), and the floral arrangements on the stairs, tables, and arch added the perfect touch. They were even able to put together flower collars for our dogs and a hair piece for me. Everything was ordered, delivered, and set up with ease.

Absolutely terrible experience with this vendor. Layla was not able to schedule even a simple phone call with me before my wedding to go over floral details. Instead I had to go through the admin person who was very nice but clearly had no idea what was going on with the design. I expressed that I was very concerned that the flowers wouldn't be what I wanted because communication had been tough, and was told they couldn't offer me a viewing but would send pictures ahead of time. I recieved no pictures and, as I feared, the flowers showed up on our big day and my bouquet was not the color palette I wanted or we had discussed. I was in the middle of make-up when they arrived but my step mom sent me pictures because she noticed it didnt look at all like the inspo picture I had been showing people. I sent my poor bridesmaids down to try and figure something out and they pulled a few of the flowers in the wrong colors. After the wedding, I emailed them to see if I could get at least a partial refund just for the bouquet and could not BELIEVE the attitude I got in response. I honestly mostly reached out to give them a chance to apologize and save them a bad review but instead got some bs response about how everything was what I asked for and "it is our client's responsibility to request viewings and changes to floral items." Despite that I was told I couldnt do a viewing and they forgot to send me pictures... I overall got the impression that she didn't care at all about my happiness or satisfaction and it was just a job to check off her list and put a LOT of money in her pocket.

Saffron and Grey decorated for our vow renewal at the Glensheen. They were easy to work with and flexible. They were in constant contact with me about what I wanted, needed, and any changes. To be fair, because our site was so extravagant I didn't need much in the way of flowers. What they provided was perfect and low key, just what I needed for my big day.

OMG beautiful. Layla made my dreams a reality. I am actually blown away about how the flowers were more gorgeous than I could have imagined. I showed them various inspiration on pinterest and we refined the vision as the wedding day got closer. I didn’t actually even get to see or talk to the florist on the day of our wedding but they followed everything we discussed to a T and it was perfect. The COLORS were exactly what I wanted and I think they made everything look just so dreamy and whimsical. Really, strongly recommend working with these guys. They also helped me figure out where/how to repurpose things from the ceremony to save $.

The ladies at Saffron & Grey are wonderful! They took my Pinterest ideas and turned them into a real-life dream for my wedding. I'm not a big flower person and didn't care too much about what they looked like, but I was blown away when I saw the bouquets in person. They were more beautiful than I thought flowers could be and even my husband commented on how amazing they turned out! They also set up the greenery on our triangle arch & tables and even that turned out amazing. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

BRIDES BEWARE! Please think twice before choosing Saffron & Grey. Their lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service is appalling. We were so disappointed with what we were provided. Every time we tried to contact them to speak to the owner/florist, Layla, about our concerns we were pushed off, ignored, talked down to, promised a refund and NEVER received it. She promised to refund a portion of our order on Sept 30, 2020. I followed up 2 weeks later since I had not received it. Another week went by, still no refund. After multiple attempts to contact her again we finally got a response, she blamed it being late on the post office. It’s February 25 and we STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT! Here’s the issue: I spoke with Layla about having a family member pick up our flowers on the way to our venue. She assured me that would be just fine if we could get them into a floral fridge once we were there. When my family member picked them up they were given no specific direction on how to transport the flowers at the time. Just handed a box with everything in it. It took them a little over an hour to get to our venue. Once they arrived, we went to put the flowers in the floral fridge and noticed that the water in the plastic bags, purposefully put in there by the florist, had reacted with the brown leaves she used in all pieces had caused them to bleed all over the white flowers. I ended up with ORANGE stained flowers on my floral crown, boutonnières & corsages - everything that had been placed into plastic bags and spritzed with water for transport. There were puddles of orange water in the bags. We called IMMEDIATELY and left a message for a call back ASAP the next morning since they were closed. The next day, our wedding day, we called them again in the morning since we hadn’t heard back. My husband spoke to the office manager, who assured him she would get the message to Layla. Layla NEVER returned the phone call. It took multiple calls and emails before Layla decided to return our call, two days after our wedding day. One would think if someone has an unhappy bride you would call them back ASAP to make things right. But apparently Saffron & Grey doesn’t care if their clients have a problem. You would also think someone who claims to be a professional would know what materials would bleed when introduced to even the smallest amount of water and avoid using them in pieces that would need to be in spritzed plastic bags. When Layla eventually decided it was convenient for her to return a phone call she even went as far to tell me that “That’s how traditional dye’s are made” HELLO?! Don’t you think you would use that piece of knowledge when designing orders so they don’t bleed and RUIN your clients flowers? I also specifically requested ranunculus and magnolia leaves to be used in my flowers. What I got was dried flowers and brown leaves that bled all over. I had ONE single ranunculus in my bouquet and NO magnolia leaves. I also said I didn’t want roses. I had roses in EVERYTHING. Simply put, if you want someone who will COMPLETELY ignore everything you request for your wedding flowers and do whatever she wants anyway, this is the place for you. If you want to work with someone who has zero follow through & fails to return emails/voicemails, this is the place for you. If you’d like to be lied to about receiving a refund for damaged items, this is the place for you. Save yourself the heartache and stress and go somewhere else!

Saffron & Grey provided beautiful flowers for our wedding! So many guests raved about how extraordinary the flowers were. I had a good experience working with the team at Saffron & Grey. Communication was good throughout. I had the flowers delivered and set-up which allowed me to just enjoy my wedding day!

Saffron and Grey was wonderful to work with. All the staff were super helpful and patient with all of our questions and changes to our floral arrangements. We asked them to put together arrangements that would be similar to the wedding day arrangements for our engagement party so we were able to tweak things prior to the final day! On the day of the owner and staff were very responsive in emails for the confirmation of time of set up and delivery. Everything turned out perfect! They even gave me a day of small gift and "thank you" card on top of just the arrangements!! It was so unexpected and so appreciated. I will definitely be going back to them for future floral needs and will be recommending them to everyone I know. Thanks again Saffron and Grey, your work is amazing and beautiful.

We were extremely impressed with Saffron and Grey! They are very talented and creative as well as professional and responsive. Every time I spoke with one of the girls there they were helpful and made putting together my wedding flowers easy and stress free. They were also flexible as we had a couple things to change during the planning process especially near the end. They also set up and tear down which is a huge plus! I would definitely recommend if you are looking for some floral arrangements that are gorgeous with some unique flare!

I love Saffron & Grey so much!! They did such an amazing job with ALL of our wedding flowers. Everything was so beautiful and spot on with how I had envisioned it!! The entire S&G team was so easy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. The design team was able to take a lot of elements from all the inspiration photos I had and truly make floral arrangements that were unique and like works of art! My bridal bouquet, which was very important to me, was stunning! I was so happy when I saw it for the first time! I received so many compliments on our flowers! I would work with S&G again in a heartbeat and so should you!

The ladies at Saffron & Grey were amazing. Full Stop. I went into this whole wedding thing not having the slightest idea what I wanted for flowers. I went back and forth between doing the flowers myself (which would have been a nightmare) or having them done professionally. I am so glad I went the professional route. Our consultation went amazingly. I went in having almost no idea what I wanted. I just had some example photos and a color scheme I was after. I didn't care about the types of flower used. I allowed them a lot of creative liberty. I ended up being so excited to see the flowers and I was not disappointed. My flowers are one of my favorite things from my wedding. They turned out gorgeous and I couldn't imagine anything else. I am so thankful to Saffron & Grey for the amazing work they did for me. They also delivered my flowers almost two hours away from their shop and I am so grateful. I would absolutely recommend Saffron & Grey!

They are floral geniuses and can create anything you imagine. You must go with saffron or you will be missing out on an incredible and beautiful experience!

Easy to work with. Responsive. and they made some BEAUTIFUL bouquets. I appreciated they met with me and helped me create a vision. I was initially very overwhelmed by the prospect of picking out flowers, but they were so helpful. My bridesmaids wore flower crowns from Saffron and Grey that were pure magic! I described the kind of flower I wanted in them and they knew exactly what I was talking about. Picking them up was a breeze and the matching corsages were just as perfect.

Saffron & Grey did my bouquet, flowers along the aisle at my ceremony, and the centerpieces for my reception. They were more than willing to work within my price range and were always available to answer any questions I had. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, especially my bouquet! Everything was exactly what I wanted and they were incredibly professional and helpful. Also, their store is the cutest little flower shop I've ever seen.

We eloped to Minnesota’s North Shore and had to organize everything from Texas. Our wonderful officiant, Annette, recommended Saffron & Grey and they were wonderful. I know I was hard to work with because I could never decide on any specific flowers. I like them all. I just wanted a small but colorful bouquet. I sent them a few photos of things they’d done that I liked and told them my fiancé had selected fushia for his tux. They came up with a bouquet and boutonnière that were perfect for the outdoor setting on the north shore of Lake Superior. They even included petals that he sprinkled along the path to our ceremony.

We used Saffron & Grey as our wedding florist and oh my goodness, they knocked it out of the park. Above and beyond my grandest expectations - they took what I thought was possible and brought it to another level of stunning. They were great to work with from start to finish, were great communicators, took the time to understand what we were looking for, and helped modify our vision to fit within our budget. The color pallet was exactly what we discussed, even down to the specific peony I loved. When the flowers arrived on the morning of the wedding I was overjoyed and received complement after complement. I was blown away by their work and I would highly recommend them!

Duluth was a destination wedding for us, and it was easy to work with them over email and phone calls. They kept up with changes I made and produced beautiful bouquets.

Choosing Saffron and Grey for our wedding florals was a wonderful decision. For someone who has very little acumen in flowers and plants, they made the planning process so simple for me and brought my vision to life with ease. Our flowers were GORGEOUS, and the rental vases and accoutrements they provided complimented the rest of our decorations so well. The flowers were of great quality, and the arrangements were full, lush, and looked great from all angles. My only hangup was the price, but I know choosing real flowers comes with an increased cost. It was worth it. Just beautiful. 😍😍😍

Amazing people – just down-to-earth and fun ladies who want to make beautiful things. 2. Absolutely professional, in the coolest way. Worked with me like a friend and treated me like their only customer. 3. HOLY GORGEOUS! My wedding bouquet alone blew my mind, then they knocked it out of the park with the reception décor. The flowers were my absolutely FAVORITE part of my wedding day, and I think it was top of the list for everyone else too – seriously, my mom will not stop talking about S&G and it has been 4+ months. I knew I could expect great things, but they went way above and beyond my expectations. Love you babes, thank you for being so so so amazing!!

Hands down the best flowers I have ever seen at a wedding. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the process easy as pie. I asked for a look and the definitely delivered beyond expectation. All the flowers were perfect.

Saffron & Grey did amazing work!! They totally saw through my vision and worked with my budget and kept up with my floral Pinterest board. Although they only did my wedding party flowers, I'm sure they'd be great with centerpieces as well. I've ordered bouquets from them for other occasions and really enjoyed them.

I can't say enough good things about Saffron & Grey! They were amazing to work with and captured my vision perfectly. I was speechless when I saw my flowers for the first time and my bouquet couldn't have been more perfect with my dress. I had out of town guests ask who did my flowers and wondering they would deliver across the county for their weddings. You won't be disappointed if you choose these lovely ladies as your florist!

My bouquet was exactly as I had imagined it. It was beautiful, the perfect size, included charms on the bottom as I had wanted, and lasted all day without falling apart or wilting. They had wonderful customer service and were very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Saffron and Grey to anyone in the Duluth area. When my photographer saw my bouquet and asked where I got it he responded with "Of course you got it from Saffron and Grey, they always kill it with their bouquets" and he's seen a lot of bouquets!

I live in Duluth and had frequented their shop often for their weekly $10 bouquets prior to getting engaged so it was an easy choice to pick them for our wedding florists! Their work is beautiful but I know NOTHING about flowers so I entrusted them to use their best creative judgment in creating all of our floral items... I was blown away when I saw what they had created! In addition to creating beautiful floral works of art, they were also very flexible and accommodating with my last minute changes which was very much appreciated!

These girls gave me my DREAM bouquets. They made my Pinterest board come to life. I cannot stop staring at my flowers.

I can't stop and won't stop recommending Saffron & Grey to every person I know!! We used them for our wedding in Minneapolis, MN and I am so incredibly happy that we did! They made planning the decorations and florals incredibly easy, and they did it all for half the price other florists in the area were charging. I showed them a picture of how I wanted my bridal bouquet to look and they brought exactly what I showed them to life!! Our table decorations were incredible and they even let me keep the centerpiece vases I rented from them until the florals inside of them were dead. These girls are insanely talented and I couldn't have asked to work with better people on my day.

Saffron & Grey did an outstanding job on our flowers for our wedding in Lutsen! We had someone come to pick them up the day before, although they did offer to deliver them for us either the night before or morning of the wedding. I received so many compliments on my Dark Red (roses, dahlias and calla lillys) bouquet i was very happy it turned out just like the photo i had shown them! None of the flowers wilted and the boutineers/corsages turned out great as well. Thank you!!

I absolutely loved working with the ladies at Saffron & Grey, and the flowers they provided for our wedding were stunning. We used S&G for bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, flower crowns, some centerpieces, cake flowers, and a floral hair piece for me. We were planning our wedding from Minneapolis and only stopped by once for our initial meeting before the first look 2 days before our wedding. In the months between they were very responsive to emails, and I found it easy to communicate virtually and feel confident that they truly understood the look and feel I was going for. I never felt pressured toward more expensive options, and they were willing and able to work within the budget we had established. They delivered the flowers to our venue about 45 minutes away, and they were absolutely perfect. I was blown away with the attention to detail and beauty of the final product. I have never seen another bouquet like mine, and don't think I ever will! I can't thank these ladies enough; they truly helped our wedding dreams come to life.

Working with the ladies at Saffron & Grey was great. We were planning our wedding from the Twin Cities and it made it difficult to communicate with some of the vendors when we couldn't get up to their shops. But, they were great. they wanted to see all photos and any pinterest images we had. I sent them what I was looking for, and the price point/budget I had, and they accommodated both. The day before showing was great! I was super happy to go up there with my mom and see the flowers. It put my mind at ease that day/night. We had very simple bouquets, and no flowers at the venue, so I can't speak to how well they do that, nor can I speak to the creativity since we just had one type of flower for everyone. But with that being said, they were great!

We used Saffron and Grey for my daughter's wedding the beginning of January. We decided to use them because my daughter had a very specific color scheme and look that she hoped to achieve and from the very start the ladies who work there were confident that they could put it all together. We sent them a few pictures of examples and they responded with ideas of flowers and colors that matched. Plus pricing that we could feel comfortable saying "yes" to. They offered us a "first look" option the day before which we have never heard of before and this is our 4th wedding. It gave my daughter a chance to view the flowers, offer last minute ideas (of which there were non ;) and put her mind at ease with one more check off the list. When they brought the flowers to the venue (Greysolon Ballroom) we were AMAZED! They could not have matched the vision in our heads any better. The palette of color and the flowers were stunning in the setting of the Ballroom and they added the soft shades of color to the dark greys/blacks. SO many people commented on the beauty and uniqueness of floral and greenery choices in all the bouquets and centerpieces. I would HIGHLY recommend this floral shop for any occasion and would confidently say that you can trust every one there to use their talents as they work with flowers to make your event very beautiful.

The ladies at Saffron and Gray are the BEST! I went into wedding planning knowing I wasn’t too concerned centerpieces or floral decorations, I just knew I wanted beautiful free form bouquets. After reaching out, we had a quick phone consultation, I showed them my pinterest board with ideas, and gave them my max budget I wanted to spend. They were so understanding as I changed my mind throughout the planning process. The final product absolutely blew me away, especially considering I gave them very little direction :) Our bouquets were just amazing and we got so many compliments on them. They also ended up doing a garland for our ceremony and it was perfect! They were so fun to work with, responsive, flexible, and incredibly talented. Not only that but their price points were really reasonable and they are great about delivering within your price range. I just had the most wonderful experience with them and would recommend them to anyone!

Our experience with S&G was awesome. Living in the cities we did our first meetings over the phone and email. They put together inspiration boards that were fun and super helpful. At our first meeting we had so much fun and they brought even more creative ideas. They worked with us and even provided cost-saving suggestions. Execution on the big day was flawless. Incredible flowers/arrangements just appeared as if magically. Everyone raved about the unique and beautiful flowers. We would highly recommend S&G!

I absolutely adored working with these two sisters on creating gorgeous, couture flowers for my big day! They had such creative ideas to help where I was stuck. They also took every element of places I wanted to create and helped me make my ideas to something beautiful. They are so sweet and creative and genuine to work with. I still use them as my go to flower shop today!

Abby and Layla were so welcoming and helpful. They have a unique style that really made the flowers and décor stand out from any that I have ever seen. Not only did they do our flowers but they came and set up our centerpieces at Greysolon for us as well. They took a huge part of the stress away and were more than willing to change things as many times as I wanted. I will go to them again in the future for other events for sure!

Layla and Abby and the whole team at saffron & grey are amazing!! I can't tell you how perfect my wedding flowers were! With the minimal direction (they simply followed my Pinterest board) they nailed my style perfectly. They are such incredible artists, I feel so lucky to have found and used them.

My family has always supported small, family-owned business so it was natural for us to choose Saffron and Grey to do the greenery for the arbor outside and our bouquets. They were beautiful and exactly what I wanted! They always kept us informed on what flowers they could not get in and what they would sub for them. The delivered on time. They have a lot of unique touches to their orders. We had a great experience with them.

We had a very specific budget when we approached these gals to do our flowers. They gave us the most gorgeous flower arrangements I'd ever seen and stayed under our budget. They were friendly and attentive to what we wanted and did a fabulous job!
