le for us, he answered every question (and there were SO many) thoughtfully and patiently. He helped us figure out what was best for our budget, while maintaining an elevated feel for a non-traditional space. He was so kind and fun to work with, which made the entire experience very positive! The food was absolutely delicious, we got so many compliments from our guests. The staff were attentive and helpful the entire day, even working from a home kitchen and some rainy weather. Can’t recommend them enough!!

the months since we met him, and we quickly learned he had hired people to handle things for him. We had to reach out about 3 weeks before the event to check in if everything was good to go. We had a phone meeting with someone working for him, who was not involved in the beginning of our quote, and was not up to speed on anything involving our plan. The invoice was wrong from our initial quote, and we did not get "comfortable" vibes when we hung up. Ryan assisted in fixing this fortunately. Our food was great, some of it was served cold, but all in all very tasty. The huge downfall came with the service. The serving team was found in the living room of our venue, with drinks in hand sitting on the couches and flipping through the televison. Our bartenders, who were not affiliated with Salt + Ko did all of the bussing. We were informed by our dessert caterer, again not affiliated with Salt + Ko, that the wait staff helped themselves to desserts. A few did not speak English, which is totally okay, but when they were asked a question they shrugged in response at our guests rather than directing them to a correct answer. It was absurd how many times they were caught just sitting around. We paid $30 an hour, plus tip, to EACH server there. In my honest opinion they did not do anything close to deserve that. They left a gash in my in laws kitchen floor (this was a backyard wedding) and did not report it. Accidents happen, but there could have been precautions taken to avoid this. We were far from satisfied with the service, and very upset to know they took it upon themselves to be drinking alcohol without asking. Ryan is great, and the food is good, but I would not recommend this company based on service alone. We sent an email to them the Monday after our reception voicing our concerns, and have yet to hear back from them.

n we got RSVP updates. Day of the wedding Ryan and his team did a great job maintaining professionalism throughout the wedding. Not to mention the food was great!

having them around on our wedding day was so comforting! He even chased me down with tacos to make sure I would eat haha! I cannot wait to throw another party solely so I can eat his delicious food again. 12/10 would recommend over and over and over.
