we DONT like and not what we DO like. Michelle definitely stepped in to help us create a concept. She also listened carefully to what our preferences and values were when it came to where we wanted to spend on. Ie, we wanted great photos and great food.
She definitely helps with the decision paralysis as well. If I had to find the perfect vendor for each of the components of my wedding, my head would explode. I'm a PM for my career and I definitely did not want to PM for my wedding. She definitely was the right PM for the job.
Also can we talk about how she helps wrangle the family???? Honestly, weddings are ridiculously stressful with family and she is great at reminding the couple that it is for THE COUPLE. She won't cause a scene but will ask and enforce what the bride and groom would want. In addition, she's a great sounding board when there is some family hiccups in terms of day of or planning the wedding.
All in all, throughout the process, Michelle was an AMAZING planner and worth every single penny. This lady comes to you with solutions instead of problems and really is on top of it all. If I ever have to have another wedding/vow renewal, I wouldn't hesitate to hire her.

ical executor of our vision, and most of all, keep us on track with our deadlines and actions. Michelle really does it all. She helped us to define our ideas and kept us calm when prices and options seemed overwhelming. We held weekly check ins, during which she'd help us understand where we needed to focus and what decisions we needed to prioritize making. She built a detailed budget tracker, which was instrumental in helping us decide what we cared most about for our event and where we needed to invest. Michelle is transparent, direct, incredibly thorough, and reliable.
We felt like we were in great hands throughout the process but the wedding day was where Michelle and her team really shined. Michelle managed all of our vendors meticulously and the day went *exactly* as planned. She helped us nail the timeline we created, and the seamless transition from one event to the next just helped us to enjoy the day that much more. Our entire wedding party (who've all participated in their fair share of weddings) was so impressed by Michelle and her team.

a wedding to the client's vision. All of our guests told us over and over again how beautiful our wedding was. Based on our input she worked with vendors to design our flowers, our signage, our table setting, etc.. it was stunning. She also is pragmatic when it comes to budgeting and logistics, and is excellent at sourcing and managing vendors, locations, etc. We are extremely grateful for Michelle's help, and it would not have been possible without her. flexible to accommodate a couple of design pivots we requested towards the end of planning. She made sure we stayed in budget by making sure we knew where we could flex certain things or giving us several options in different budget ranges. r previous coordinator ghosted us about 6 weeks before our wedding. Michelle was able to jump in, ask all the right specific and leading questions so that she could be prepared for the event, and even had some decor and pieces that we were able to incorporate into our wedding day. Michelle was able to help navigate everyone to the event space and assign roles as needed to our designated family and friends so that my partner and I could focus on our wedding pictures and each other before the wedding ceremony. She was respectful and informative for our guests so that they knew where to go when and was able to provide transitions multiple times for the event. She worked very well with our other vendors and even though our ceremony and other events were right next to each other with limited "sneaky" access, she was able to get out caterer in to set up during our ceremony without any attention being taken away from our ceremony. She was so good, that I almost had an internal panic attack after the ceremony thinking the food and drinks had not been delivered and set up, but to my pleasant surprise, it was perfectly placed.
All in all, my partner and I HIGHLY recommend Michelle for your wedding needs. She is knowledgeable, direct, and the only reason I was able to relax and appreciate my wedding the way I was able to.

For each vendor, she always presented to us a variety of options for the styles we like and highlighted the pros and cons for our top choices with our budget limits in mind. She would try to get us the best package deal and negotiate for our best interest. I love this about her. When we talked to our vendor, they couldn’t stop raving about how detailed oriented and helpful Michelle is in navigating all the coordination for the wedding day. We had our wedding in the hottest month of the summer but it wasn’t a problem for her. Michelle showed up with her team bright and early, ready to go. They executed the day seamlessly from prepping for our ceremony to flipping the space for reception in 100F weather within an hour. We didn’t have to worry about anything, and truly enjoyed every moment with our friends and families. Both of our families are still talking about how they love our wedding. It was dreamy and personal like how we envisioned it. She turned our Pinterest board to life, and added our personal touch to it. I love how she incorporated little design details from both of our cultures into a western style wedding. Overall, 100% would recommend Michelle to our friends and families.

I wish I would have known when hiring her that serial procrastination and an unending pattern of avoidable mistakes would leave us three weeks out from our wedding without some vendors and panicking as we put out her fires. At least we are now working with a new wedding planner who is a true professional; she is putting into perspective the very poor service we received from Michelle. A wedding planner should never put a couple in the position Michelle has put us in. It makes me sick to think she does this to people, regardless of intention - we feel like our wedding was just a guinea pig for her new business.
She made a mess until the last minute and then walked away without even so much as a sincere apology. You hopefully only get one wedding in this life. Don’t let anyone ruin it for you this way.
Update: Michelle was terminated after her routine poor performance and the decision was mutual. She is now making legal threats against us and our new wedding planner, claiming rights to images she contributed nothing toward, and is standing in the way of our vendors getting credit in publications for their amazing work. Her behavior is immature and shocking. No couple should come back from their honeymoon to an inbox full of legal threats from a wedding planner who already caused so much undue stress before the wedding. Her presence has scarred our wedding memories and we still suffer greatly due to her behavior. Learn from our mistakes and look elsewhere for your wedding planner needs.

With our preferences/vision in mind, Michelle helped us find a venue, make careful decisions on vendors (florist, photographer/videographer, decor, linens/flatware, karaoke dj, makeup/hair), took the lead on wedding day stationery designs and wedding website, and much much more. Michelle was the main point of contact between us and all our vendors, looking over contracts and ensuring all details were correct. She made planning a wedding so not stressful, and helped us realize our wedding vision all while keeping our budget in mind, which we very much appreciated.

After years of conferences and offsites, she decided to move into special events where she worked for renowned production companies and venues in the San Francisco Bay Area.
