We are so happy we chose Sanctuary for our wedding. It's such a beautiful venue, the views down into the valley are absolutely breathtaking and they were such a beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and cocktail hour. So many guests commented on how beautiful the venue and scenery was. The Sanctuary staff are absolutely amazing. Sierra was a joy to work with and was incredibly professional, and working through some unusual requests from us to work around the groom's food allergies for a safe wedding day. The servers during dinner were very professional and attentive and they elevated the dinner experience a lot. The food was excellent, many guests told us afterwards it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Sanctuary is truly a top notch wedding venue in every category, we highly recommend it.

Our wedding at the sanctuary was beyond perfect, it truly exceeded our expectations in so many ways! What a backdrop, it’s majestical beauty is beyond words, food was beyond delicious, our guests were commenting and I truly mean everyone, they were blown away that the food could be perfectly prepared and taste so incredibly delicious! The staff is beyond belief, the way everything was flipped and set up so perfectly was amazing to witness and finally Jessica (weddings and private events manager) was incredible, she’s honest, has lots of integrity and was always there for us which we really appreciated! The most gorgeous views for a wedding ceremony in all of paradise valley. Jessica makes it so easy plan your menu and all details. The food is the best meal many of our guests said they had ever had!! We were so lucky to be able to have our wedding there.

The Sanctuary is an absolute dream come true. All of our guests were from out of town (east & west coasts) and were taken away by the views. Every single guest complimented how delicious the food was and how perfect everything went. From our tour with Robyn to coordinating with Jessica, everything was amazing. Jessica was very helpful, patient and kind. I'd highly recommend for anyone who wants beautiful memories with family and friends.

The Sanctuary is an absolute dream wedding destination for any couple! Whether you are a local couple (as my husband and I were), or you're travelling from afar - it really doesn't get any better or more picture-perfect than the Sanctuary. They excel in every category you need for the perfect wedding: location, scenery, food, service, honeymoon suite, etc.! From day 1 of planning, the staff at Sanctuary makes the process fun and easy. Jessica McQueary is the perfect onsite coordinator. She is detail oriented, knows all the questions to ask and won't let anything agreed upon be forgotten. The food is next level - you (and your guests) will not be disappointed! Our guests still rave about how good the food was, as do my husband and I. As far as scenery, every part of the resort is picture perfect. Your wedding album will thank you for choosing the Sanctuary because you'll have so many different backdrops (all of which look like they're straight out of a magazine). There is so much nature surrounding you and the floral touches that the Sanctuary has added around the resort. Added bonus - the natural scenery and floral touches allowed us to spend less on our floral budget because there was so much natural beauty built in. The patio and ceremony lawn offer superb outdoor options for the ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner (if you desire). This is especially important for COVID-couples trying to plan a safe and enjoyable event, as we did. Being outdoors helped us and our guests feel safer yet it wasn't any sort of compromise with the 180 degree views we had of the Valley and surrounding mountain ranges. This was a big hit with all of our guests (and looked stunning in our photos). The ballroom is also spacious and much more modern than what you may picture as the traditional ballroom. It has a distinct upscale look while still feeling open and welcoming. Even the dance floor they provide meets the elegant aesthetic - they don't miss a detail! On the day of the wedding, all of the staff around the resort made us feel so special. You can't find service that excels as much as the Sanctuary's team anywhere else. As the evening came to an end, we were dropped at the most incredible honeymoon suite we could've asked for with all the little touches to make it a romantic landing spot after an incredible day! It was an unexpected surprise that left us excited to be back in the room after the wedding and not feeling disappointed the big day was over. My only regret is not booking the room for at least another night to really enjoy it and I'd highly recommend any couple do so if they can! All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding ceremony and reception location or a better team to work with. This was our second time planning a wedding as the first one was cancelled due to COVID. I thought I'd be sad I didn't get my Bahamas destination wedding but instead I was HAPPY I had the chance to replan and have my dream wedding in such an incredible and beautiful place. I think my husband would also agree with that statement and that speaks volumes as to what an incredible place the Sanctuary really is.

We got married last Sunday 01.17.2021 at the Sanctuary and it was absolutely perfect. The ceremony location is unparalleled, the service is unmatched and the food is out of this world. Every detail was well thought out and took an enormous amount of stress off of us in planning. There is simply no beating Sanctuary Camelback as a wedding venue. The sunset views were amazing! Big thank you to Jessica for her professionalism and compassion through the entire process. We wanted our guests to feel special at our wedding and the Sanctuary does just that. In the current climate with COVID Sanctuary took every precaution to ensure we had the best wedding possible while all remaining safe. We could not be happier.

This was the PERFECT venue for our wedding, stunning views, AMAZING food, wonderful staff, and the wedding team was really helpful throughout the planning process. Honestly the most picturesque place and had all our guests comment multiple times for weeks afterward on how beautiful the venue and amazing the whole day was. I couldn’t imagine a better day. And it was so nice to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all on the same property WITH NO OTHER WEDDINGS AT THE SAME TIME. You’ll feel like you have a private and special day if you choose the Sanctuary. Plus the rooms are fabulous, you won’t want to leave!

If you are looking for a timeless wedding venue in Scottsdale with phenomenal food and service, look no further. The wedding coordinator, Jessica, is professional and wonderful to work with. The venue and grounds were always well maintained and we never had to worry about unwelcome surprises. Even months later, our wedding guests are still talking about the food! Highly recommend!

The Sanctuary is a phenomenal venue from start to finish, we were sold on having our out of town wedding here before even visiting the site. The entire staff was wonderful to work with and helped all of our ideas come to life- especially Jessica! She is thorough, kind, helpful, and many other things that you would want in a venue coordinator. I highly recommend the Sanctuary, the views are hard to beat and the hotel itself is amazing. Everyone at our wedding had the best time at Sanctuary! Jessica took care of us the entire day and through our entire wedding planning process. The entire staff there goes above and beyond. Being the only wedding at the venue on your day makes everything feel extra special. Our guests loved the food and the views from every angle of our ceremony space and reception ballroom. This venue is absolutely perfect for a wedding. The venue and views are stunning. The Wedding Specialist (Jessica) is the best. The food is impressively delicious and gorgeously presented. All of the event locations on the property are stunning - even the ballroom, which has floor to ceiling windows and a modern feel. As an added bonus, there are so many places around the property to get the best pictures. Can't wait to go back for our one-year anniversary!

The Sanctuary was truly magical. It’s tucked away in Camelback Mountain, making you feel like you’ve escaped Phoenix, but still allows quick access to Old Town Scottsdale where most of our guests stayed. Additionally, all our guests raved about the food saying it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. Overall, it encompassed everything we wanted in our wedding: desert environment, outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, spacious indoor reception area, breathtaking views, gorgeous area for sunset photos, delicious food, and the best Wedding Manger you’d ever want to work with, Jessica McQueary. One of the reasons we chose the Sanctuary was because of how well we meshed with her. We didn’t have a wedding planner, so my husband and I worked directly with Jessica, and she’s patient, friendly, organized, down to earth, and made us feel stress free. Every part of the planning process was easy, and she was supportive and flexible on the day of the wedding. I can’t say enough good things about Jessica and the Sanctuary. It was 100% worth it!

We got married at the Sanctuary the weekend before Thanksgiving, and honestly this is the easiest wedding review I will write! The Sanctuary was PERFECTION and the BEST wedding decision we made! Jessica McQueary the wedding coordinator was a god-send, she patiently responded to my 100+ emails and made me feel so at ease on the big day! Everything was thought through and accounted for on the day and EVERY member of staff was incredible from the valet to the wait staff! People are still ranting and raving about how gorgeous the ceremony site was and how delicious the food was, and how drinks were constantly being filled all night. You honestly can't beat Jessica or any of the staff at the Sanctuary, it was a little out of our budget but we made it happen because we couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else within the Valley! I promise you will NOT be disappointed, from the moment we walked onto the resort we got goosebumps it is so beautiful, and I'm so grateful to all the staff for helping make our big day more perfect than we could have even imagined!! We are a couple from Seattle and knew we wanted to get married in Arizona, so finding the perfect place was our number one priority. After tons of online research and incredible reviews, we fell in love with Sanctuary. We booked a trip down to check out the venue and from the moment we stepped on property, we never looked back... the views alone are breathtaking! Every single person we encountered from the valet staff, to the front desk staff to the private events staff were friendly and gracious and inviting and we knew our dearest family and friends would be in the best hands. Soon after I started corresponding with Jessica and I fell in love with her as well. I can't begin to describe the genuine, caring, honest and supportive person she is. We decided not to use a wedding coordinator, so during the months of planning it took me to figure out what I was doing, Jessica was there for me ever step of the way. She answered any and every question/concern I had as well as offered her professional advice and experience on how to make the best use of the property. This was vital to us as we planned the entire ceremony/celebration from Seattle/online. We made a second trip down for our tasting and were even more blown away by the quality of the food and the service provided to us. From that point on we were just counting down the days to show off this incredible venue to our guests. The day of our wedding was absolute perfection. The weather was amazing and the views, landscaping, vibe on property was magical. The ceremony and reception were flawless. Our guests were truly shown 5-star treatment, the wait staff was beyond attentive, no wine glass was ever empty and the food was just as incredible as it was during our tasting. I know without a shadow of a doubt that our wedding will be talked about for years to come because of the hard work and dedication of the Sanctuary staff. I would give them 10 stars if I could and I hope for all of those looking for a unique and magical wedding experience that you look no further than Sanctuary on Camelback!!

Where do I even begin to describe how absolutely perfect my wedding at Sanctuary Camelback was? The staff at Sanctuary is absolutely extraordinary, they were so attentive and helpful during the entire event and the days before and after. I did not need to lift a finger, my tables were set to perfection, all of my decor and signage placed with care and all last minute changes handled with grace composure and ease. I did not feel stressed during one second of my wedding day. The ceremony space on the lawn was stunning, cocktail hour held on the Views patio was stunning as the sun set, the view alone impressed all of our guest. I cannot stress enough how perfectly everything was set up. Dinner inside the ballroom was breathtaking, the food was raves about by all. My mother was feeling sick and could not eat so the staff boxed her meal and gave it to her in a beautiful bag with no hesitation. Last minute seating was added in with ease and no stress whatsoever. Our glasses of champagne were not empty for one moment, the staff was so attentive and friendly that I was hugging them by the end of the night. Also, they did help my bridal party with taking down decor at the end of the night that was way above and beyond the level of help that was expected, I simply cannot stress how nice everyone was. Jessica McQueary alone is worth getting married here. As our day of coordinator, she collaborated with me so well (I did not have a planner) and was so attentive with answering questions and being flexible. You never know what to expect when working with someone new but I was so relieved to find that Jessica’s personality matched perfectly with mine, organized and on point but also laid back in the sense that she did not for one moment make me feel stressed or give me any attitude whatsoever! She was truly the superhero of our wedding. We rented the Spa House and adjoining 4 casitas, our entire bridal party and parebts were able to stay in the compound with us all weekend. The house was meticulously attened to by the staff and golf carts were sent at all hours of the morning for our late night party guest which was extremely nice. The Spa House was just insanely beautiful, the view was breathtaking, Camelback Mountain speaks for itself and I think is one of the most beautiful places in Phoenix. Our out of town guest were thrilled with the sounding area of Old Town Scottsdale with all its upscale western charm and great shopping and restaurants. I cannot recommend Sanctuary Camelback Mountain enough for your wedding, it was the experience of a lifetime and memories my husband and I will cherish forever. My daughter was married last weekend at the Sanctuary and we are still living on an emotional high! It was a magical evening. You can't beat the setting anywhere in the Valley! We were in such great hands with Jessica and the Sanctuary staff that bride, groom and parents were able to relax and enjoy themselves. Jessica was on top of all details. The Views Event room was gorgeous. The tables were set beautifully. Table service was very attentive. The meals were served with such fanfare… with all plates at a table being brought out at once. That was such a classy touch. People loved the intermezzo. And the food was of course outstanding. We received so many comments from guests that it was the best food they have ever had a a wedding! We had a large guest count, and Jessica worked tirelessly to fit all our guests at tables inside and still have a stage for the band. The After Party at the Jade Bar was also a big success. Excellent late night bites and again outstanding service. It was a pleasure working with everyone at the Sanctuary! We felt like they personally cared about us and making our daughter's wedding memorable!

My Husband and I recently got married at the Sanctuary. When I say that everything was absolutely perfect, it was. A huge part of the success the day of was due to Jessica and the Sanctuary crew. The Views conference room was gorgeous. The tables were set beautifully. The meals were served with such fanfare… with all plates at a table being brought out at once. That was such a classy touch. And the food was of course outstanding, we received so many comments that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Overall the space is such a wonderful place to get married. People can enjoy the music inside and walk outside to take in the gorgeous views—I could not be more happy that we decided to get married here. It was truly a dream come true.

The Sanctuary is our favorite spot in the world! We have gone there atleast once a year every year due to the awesome weather and the premier service they have always delivered. The food is always five star quality and we truly fell in love here. My husband proposed here after 6 years visiting and the day after I was meeting with Jessica. To say I was in love with the idea of having my wedding here doesn’t do justice to the term but meeting Jessica pushed me over. We were in contract within a week. I can say every single guest we had felt like a celebrity with the details and service they experienced. I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect week of events and an even better grand finale. Jessica’s heart went into it all and she pulled every string to be sure our day was a dream come true. I wish the plannin wasn’t over so I could keep planning with Jessica and had a reason to bug her daily but now I consider her a friend and hope to be planning an anniversary party at this exact spot with Jessica (my newest friend) in ten years. This place, this staff, the food, and Jessica made this worth every single penny.

My husband and I were married at Sanctuary two weeks ago. And every day another guest sends me a note about how amazing everything was! First, Jessica is an amazing partner to have on the wedding planning journey! She literally turns the world upside down to ensure that her couples are happy. She is amazingly attentive and responsive. When my husband tore his achilles two weeks before our wedding, she volunteered to cart us around for our first look. The food was AWESOME! Every guest raved about the selection all night. The chef was accommodating of my dairy allergy, and a few vegan guests as well! Service was more than we could have imagined. They stationed a server to meet us at the end of the aisle with champagne and appetizers. Any time a guest asked for anything, they were available, and always with a smile. And the view cannot be beat. It makes for the most memorable and amazing pictures. All in all, you cannot go wrong at Sanctuary. And the experience was worth every penny!

We had our ceremony and reception at Sanctuary. It was a dreamy day! I have to say the wait staff was the best! They literally took care of everything, big smiles, caring, and they were fun! I loved them. The package claims there is a day planner. I believe our sales person was the day planner. She did great and helped us make decisions and take the guessing out of the picture, but I think her role is definitely not the day of planner. She was fantastic wait staff was great, food was incredible, thank you Chef!!! We loved everything!

I can't put into words how perfect our day was! Our wedding was over a year in the making and what a year it was! We originally started off working with Leah who then introduced us to Jessica who handled our wedding. First off, Jessica is amazing! I must've emailed her hundreds of times with tons of questions all of which she answered promptly. Anytime she was out of the office she let me know beforehand. My husband and I wanted a super customized wedding menu since we stick to a low-carb/keto diet and Jessica and the culinary team at Sanctuary were more than up to the challenge! We had cauliflower puree instead of potatoes, our beef carpaccio was served on parmesan crips and not pita, the pastry chef even made us fat bombs for dessert! Everything was amazing. The food is incredible, the resort is beautiful and the customer service is outstanding. Everyone we encountered at the resort was helpful and eager to meet our needs. Thank you so much to Jessica and everyone at Sanctuary for executing the perfect wedding day!

My husband and I got married at the Sanctuary a few days ago and could not have been more thrilled with this incredible venue. The second i drove up, i knew that this is where we would be married. Not only were the grounds and views spectacular, but the people working there are incredible. From the friendly valet team, to the wedding set-up crew to the chef's team and servers, everything was top notch. Jessica, who i worked with on the coordination side, deserves special praise- she is a true professional. She is friendly and was on top of everything! She answered my questions so quickly and was a pleasure to work with. One of the main reasons why i chose the Sanctuary was for the food. I am a firm believer of "you get what you pay for" and this was no exception. The beef was phemonenal- and so many guests said it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. I can't wait to celebrate future anniversaries at this resort.

We cannot say enough great things about this venue! It is absolutely breathtaking. All of the staff are so accommodating and are willing to help with whatever is needed. Many people are needed to make a wedding go off without a glitch and Sanctuary makes sure that happens. Plus, the backdrop and natural beauty of Camelback Mountain are the finishing touches on our perfect day. I must add that the food is outstanding! I have a gluten allergy and the chef made everything gluten free, what a blessing!! I was treated very well during the tasting because they went out of their way to make sure all the food was gluten free. Little touches and finishes like that are what separate Sanctuary from the rest. We are so so thankful we chose to have our special day at Sanctuary Resort!! Couldn't imagine it anywhere else.

Our wedding at Sanctuary was everything we hoped it would be!!! Leah and Brittany were amazing to work with and we could not have picked a better place to have our wedding. No doubt. The views during our ceremony and cocktail hour were breathtaking! The food was amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests about the food and the great service provided during the reception. We had a great overall experience with the resort and all the staff. If you choose Sanctuary for your venue you'll be so happy you did.

Sanctuary is the most amazing spot for a wedding! I was drawn to it for its amazing customer service and its incredible views. I worked with Brittany M. at the Sanctuary and she was SO helpful, responsive, and took such good care of us. I felt like because of her (and the Sanctuary), my stress level was able to stay very low during the whole planning process, because I knew it would turn out perfect. I was so impressed with the staff, the views, the food, etc... Highly recommend!

Our daughter was recently married at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain and it was a brilliant celebration! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the service and food was phenomenal. Sanctuary is hands down the most incredible wedding venue in Arizona. Everything was fabulous from the setting and staff to the AMAZING food by world renowned chefs! I was so impressed by the hard work their events coordinator Phoebe put into making sure every little detail of our wedding turned out perfectly! Everyone at the Sanctuary was amazing! Phoebe is the perfect person to ensure your wedding is the best; she is calm, thorough and fun, and I can truly say I had the time of my life on my wedding day! The Sanctuary Resort was one of our first choices and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Everything was fantastic from our initial meeting with the wedding staff to the very end. They were great in helping us with every detail of the wedding planning process and always answered any questions we had. The day of the wedding, Sloane, our wedding coordinator, made sure everything went extremely smooth. All of our family and friends couldn't say enough how everything went off without a hitch. And, not to mention, everyone loved and raved about the food!! Then, of course, those breathtaking views you have for the ceremony and the cocktail hour, are priceless. The Sanctuary Resort created wonderful memories for us on our wedding day!

The views from the ceremony are unbelievable...the best in Arizona, hands down! And since the remodel of the ballroom that occurred after the contract, we were able to enjoy it that much more from the ballroom (the curtains came down!) Food was excellent and the staff was friendly and professional! I would recommend Sanctuary to anyone planning a wedding in Arizona!

I had the pleasure to work with Sloane and her team on March 22, 2014. Aside from Sanctuary's stunning views, ease of flow for guests and top notch food- the service and care by the staff is everything a couple could ask for on their day. As a planner, it made the day flow with ease to have golf carts and constant attentive staff for the bride when taking pictures and getting ready. Sloane, the Catering Manager, and her assistant both went above to assist on the day- weddings truly are a a one and only special priority at Sanctuary. Joy, the banquet manager, picked right up where the catering team passed along the event, ensuring each detail of service was as our client had arranged it. The Catering Manager and all staff really work earnestly to go above and beyond clients expectations and make the day truly unique for each client. Can't wait to see the next beautiful wedding at Sanctuary- what a perfect spot for the big day!

We could not be happier with our decision to get married at Sanctuary. It was absolutely the most GORGEOUS setting with the most incredible views. Sanctuary (and Sloane) thought of every last detail to make our entire wedding experience absolutely perfect - including strawberries and champagne waiting for us in our room at the end of the night! All of Sanctuary's employees and staff were so wonderful! They made us feel like the most important people at the resort that day. From Sloane to Phoebe to the valet staff to the bartenders... everyone was just so genuine and kind, and seemed to be sharing in our happiness that day. It just made the experience that much more magical. My husband and I had narrowed down our venue choices to Sanctuary and one other place, but in the end we realized there was no place that could compare to Sanctuary. And there really isn't. Our friends and family have been telling us non-stop how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. In fact, many people have said the food was the best they had ever had at a wedding. We 100% agree. We also happened to use several Sanctuary-recommended vendors (florist, DJ, cigar roller), and they did NOT disappoint. Their recommendations are spot on. I truly can't say enough wonderful things about Sanctuary. Waking up the morning after the wedding, it all felt so surreal. I will always remember that incredible day... thanks to Sanctuary I got to marry the love of my life in the most beautiful setting imaginable. It was truly, truly a dream come true.

I am a wedding planner and recently planned a wedding at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain. I love this venue because it offers such a beautiful setting and backdrop for your wedding day that very little additional decor needs to be set. The mountain view during the ceremony and reception is breathtaking! The staff is what really makes this place like no other. Customer service is such a huge priority and it shows in everything they do from the planning process until the end of the wedding. They were able to accommodate without hesitation every request from the bride and groom and helped make their day perfection! They were great about making sure the rooms to get ready in were prepped, they knew exactly when pickups on the golf cart needed to happen to get the bride around for photos and they made sure the bride and grooms suite was perfectly prepped for after the wedding including candlelight, chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. They were so on top of things and super easy to work with. All of the food was amazing and guest are still raving about how delicious everything was. I look forward to working with Sanctuary again!

As a wedding planner, producing events at the Sanctuary is a dream! The service leading up to the event is always timely and enjoyable. The staff present on the day of the event makes it possible to focus our energy on our clients, their families and the aesthetics and timeline of the day. The service, food and the views are my top three PRO's to this venue.

Sanctuary Camelback Mountain is a beautiful, perfect, one-of-a-kind venue for a wedding. The outdoor ceremony location is newly renovated and the backdrop is stunning. The outdoor cocktail hour has views of the entire valley, and the indoor reception room is classic and intimate. Lauren, the event/catering manager is amazing and helped with anything and everything that we requested. She planned out the timing of the entire night which made everything run so smoothly. She made everyone feel comfortable and we all had a fantastic time. The food is AMAZING and nothing like regular "wedding food". Almost all our guests were from out of town and they had an absolute blast at our wedding and kept commenting on how gorgeous everything was. Would definitely recommend this venue!!!

I cannot recommend the Sanctuary Resort as a wedding venue. Everything was perfect and was flawlessly executed. Lauren, the wedding coordinator, was a great part of making our day perfect with her suggestions and execution with our wedding planner. It is perfect if you are looking to host a group of 150 or less, but might be too small if you are looking to having more guests, it was the ideal intimate site we were looking for and we couldn't have been happier.

When my fiancé at the time wanted to have our wedding in Scottsdale I was totally on board, but not knowing much about the area since we live in L.A. I thought it might be hard to find a perfect location. We set out a weekend to look at about 6 different places from The Royal Palms, Biltmore, The Ritz and finally Sanctuary! All I can say is Sanctuary hands down was the best place. From the views to the service it was amazing. It took us about 3 seconds for us to decide we wanted to have it there. We worked with Lauren who was honestly the most amazing, easy going and super accommodating person I know! She made the whole process easy, and planning this all from another state made things stressful, but not at all with Lauren. When we did our food tasting I was absolutely taken back on how good the food tasted! We wanted to have the best food at our wedding, and by far this was the best food I have ever had! As our wedding day approached I can't tell you how amazing the entire staff was for us. Graham helped us with accommodating our guest and he was AWESOME! Anything anyone needed he got it taken care of. The day of our wedding is something I will never forget! Everything went so smoothly I didn't have to worry about a thing. The weather was amazing (we got married in April). There was not one single thing I could think of that I didn't like. The signature drinks, the food, the cake the location....AMAZING! Yes our wedding wasn't cheap, but at the end of the day it was the best day of our lives! Not to mention all of our guest said our wedding was the best they have been too! We still have guest talk about it to this day. Sanctuary hands down is the best place to get married in Scottsdale. Thanks to Lauren and the Sanctuary staff for making our wedding perfect!

My husband and I were married at The Sanctuary on June 1st and could not be happier with the choice we made! The mountain views, beautiful landscape, and desert flowers and ambiance gave our wedding the sophisticated, warm, and desert glow we wanted for our out of town city guests during our ceremony. The reception was just gorgeous, and we have been receiving non-stop compliments on how delicious the food was...from the appetizers, to the filet, to the sea bass--everything was delicious! This was all made possible thanks to the catering manager, Lauren--she is from the very first step, your best support system and she will give you fabulous recommendations and tell you the truth when asked her opinion. She is patient, extremely thorough, and detail orientated and she helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. The Sanctuary is so lucky to have her! There are absolutely no regrets in having our wedding at The Sanctuary..we would do it all over again! An absolute gem of a place to get married in!

We were very happy with the service and quality from Sanctuary. Lauren was our wedding coordinator, she was very knowledgable, patient and helpful. The food was amazing, our guests love the salmon & chicken dishes that we picked. We got a lot of complements from our guests for the venue, foods and the flowers. I highly recommend Sanctuary Camelback Mountain for a wedding venue.

My wedding at Sanctuary could not have been more perfect. The whole resort is empirically gorgeous. You could have a wedding there without any flowers, or decorations and it would still be incredibly beautfil. The food is delicious and extremly better than what you would expect to be served at a wedding. Everyone who works there is extremly professional and hospitable. The event coordinator, Lauren Wickham is amazing and went above and beyond for us throughout the wedding planning process. Lauren recommended most of the vendors we used, gave us great ideas and was on top of every detail. Everyone we spoke to about having our wedding at Sanctuary knew who Lauren was and had nothing but amazing things to say about her. We had a destination wedding, all of our guests were impressed with the resort and the wedding. The resort staff made all of our guests feel special. There truly is no better wedding venue in Arizona

I cannot say enough about Sanctuary Resort and the people that work there! We chose the location because of the beautiful setting and architecture. Also, the ballroom was modern and had full windows, allowing our guest to see the view even from inside. I had looked at a couple other beautiful resorts where the ballrooms reminded me of corporate meeting places. Sanctuary's was different. I worked with Lauren Wickham, Catering Manager @ Sanctuary, in planning the event. Lauren made the whole process easy and coordinated all logistics with my vendors. She was great at making recommendations that fit my taste and style. I never felt like she was trying to up-sell me; she always seemed to focus on my what would work best for me and my budget. Although the days leading up to my wedding were perfect AZ spring weather, there was a drastic change on the day of my wedding. Temps dropped to 50s and it was pouring rain and hailing. Lauren had a back up plan in place and made all the necessary changes. Even though we didn't end up having the ceremony outside, it was still perfect! The ballroom is lined with glass windows, so my guests could still see the beautiful view (and the sun came out for the ceremony).  My experience planning the wedding and the actual wedding day were great. I would recommend Sanctuary to anyone looking for a venue that is gorgeous inside and out.

The Sanctuary is the best place to have your wedding! The staff and venue are so friendly and helpful. Lauren thinks of and takes care of everything for you. Sanctuary is truly top-notch, first-class, and the best of the best. Everyone at the resort is so warm and friendly and genuinely wants you to have the wedding of your dreams! We got married on October 27, 2012 and it was the most magical day of our lives...and Sanctuary deserves a huge thank you!! I couldn't imagine going through our day without Lauren Wickham, the wedding coordinator - she is beyond amazing. Everything we needed - she helped us...and she just adds to the special day with her sweet personality and fun self. I can't imagine ever getting married anywhere else - this place is to die for. The moment I saw the Sanctuary for the first time I knew it was perfect! Besides all of the obvious stuff (beautiful location, perfect ceremony site, amazing venue) Sanctuary really was a dream. From start to finish I really can not say enough wonderful things about this venue. Lauren Wickham, our Catering Manager was beyond amazing. She helped calm my nerves and she is a pro at what she does. Everything was beyond perfect. Near the end I think I either called or emailed Lauren twice a day and she always replied with a smile. Not only is she extremely professional but she is on top of her game. Every step of the way I was impressed. We had quite the extensive decor set up and her and her team handled everything. My bridesmaids and I got ready in their 'Vista' boardroom and this room is the perfect set up for getting ready. I was really blown away at how well everything worked out logistically. They really do have it set up perfectly for weddings. The service we received from everyone at the hotel was beyond perfection. On the day our our wedding I really did feel like a princess and I cannot thank Lauren and her team enough. If you want the most beautiful, elegant wedding with perfect service and seriously delicious food you've found it here. My guests are still talking about the food, the venue and the service. I work in the hotel industry myself, so as you can imagine I had certain expectations. I was blown away by the stellar organization and overall experience. After our reception we were treated to one of their 'Spa Casita' Rooms. Yup, this suite was gorgeous and I was really disappointed we had to fly out so early the next day! All in all it was the perfect day that my husband and I will never forget. Truly a dream come true! PS. The best part is you can go back for years to come! I can't wait to spend our anniversary there. The rooms, food and drink selection are AMAZING!

The Sanctuary was a gorgeous venue for our wedding. Beautiful views, scenery, event space! And the food is amazing, all our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they ever had!

I was an out of town bride, planning a destination wedding in which all the guests also had to fly in. I cannot tell you how helpful Lauren and her staff were. I had to make a few special trips to AZ throughout the year leading up to the wedding, and they were always very accommodating in arranging visits, tasting, etc. As for the wedding weekend itself, honestly not a single thing was out of place, forgotten or neglected. It is amazing how much behind the scenes work goes into a wedding a Sanctuary; as the bride, my only worries on the big day had to do with reapplying lip gloss! My guests all had an amazing time and were blown away by the scenery, decor, food and level of service. Top notch all the way. I am incredibly happy with our choice to get married on this property, they brought my vision to life!

Lauren Wickham and the team at Sanctuary make planning a wedding stress-free and simple. Every aspect of the wedding (the location, planning process, food, etc.) was top notch. My husband and I had such a wonderful wedding at Sanctuary and would recommend it highly to others. We received so many compliments on the event from our guests - especially on the food. We look forward to being able to come back to stay at the hotel in the years to come to relive the memories.

Everything was above and beyond. I toured a few places but nothing compared to the Sanctuary. Lauren is the best. She helped me so much and the day of my wedding ran so smoothly it was a dream come true. She answered everything and took care of any stress I had. My husband and I hosted our wedding at the Sanctuary last weekend and everything was flawless. Lauren Wickham, our catering manager, was top notch. Before I could ask for something, it was already delivered or handled. The staff at the facility, including the talented mixologists in Jade Bar and the helpful associates in the spa and fitness center, could not do enough for us - our guests were blown away. The setting is unbeatable and the property, right down to the amenities in the sleeping rooms, is pristine and welcoming. Thanks to the Sanctuary team for the most memorable weekend - we will be back!

I love writing reviews and as we speak am writing this at my hotel in Europe whilst on the Honeymoon. I would have written sooner but wanted to really take my time to write a deserved review. We chose the Sanctuary for so many reasons but the most special being that it had been the location of our first date. But even without carrying such a special meaning for us, the Sanctuary would always have been our top choice. The location is absolutely gorgeous and has so much to offer as a unique experience for all involved in the wedding, especially your guests. The food is amazing, we got sooo many compliments on how delicious the meal choices were. They were also incredibly accommodating for guests with unique food situations. The service was impeccable with every single staff member going the distance to help in anything you needed. And I cannot say enough about how amazing it was to work with Lauren. I emailed her often amdeeson was more than happy to help me work out Y vision for the wedding. She was able to answer questions, make helpful suggestions, was always prompt and concise. What I rally appreciated was how she was able to make suggestions that worked with the vision I had for my wedding - not overstepping any design boundary but keeping all her suggestions as a means of complimenting f and fascinating my plannig process. Lauren truly understands what it means to create a unique and personal event. I provided all the pieces the day before with instructions and diagrams and was completely floored by the outcome the day of. Everything was perfect and they handled everything with such care, considering how fast and hectic it all comes together. I was just so impressed with everything. I must also mention how amazing it was to see how well the Sanctuary, and Lauren, worked together with the vendors. I didn't even feel the single bit stressed a out the details of what was taking place - having complete trust in the timeline and everyone's ability to be professional and responsible. One rhi g I truly appreciate is the privacy - your wedding will be the only event taking place that day, so you can rest assured that it will feel intimate and personal. Honestly - I couldn't have expected more. Everythi g was perfect, and I highly recommend the Sanctuary for any special event because you will not be disappointed. I look forward to celebrating our anniversaries there!

Sanctuary is a beautiful resort staffed by incredibly efficient, kind, and accommodating professionals. You cannot go wrong with having your wedding here. Our wedding was originally planned for late August 2012 in Colorado. My father became ill around Thanksgiving 2011 and we decided to move the wedding up to February 2012 and to Arizona so he could be there. I don't know if we could have pulled it off without Lauren Wickham, the event coordinator at Sanctuary. Amazing barely begins to describe working with her. She responded to my request immediately, worked with me to find a date as soon as possible, and made sure our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I will never run out of wonderful things to say about her and our experience there. Due to the short turnaround (we went from having 7 months to plan to having less than 8 weeks) I needed a venue that could handle everything for me, coordinate with our other vendors (florist, photographer and DJ) and make sure everything went according to plan. And that is precisely what I got. Lauren even gave us a tour of the hotel rooms so we could see the accommodations and make sure the handicap room would be ok for my Dad. The day of the wedding there literally was not a single hiccup for the entire day. Everything ran on time, the setting was gorgeous, the food was amazing, the guests had a blast, and the whole day ran smoothly. If I could give Sanctuary 10 stars, I would!

The Sanctuary is perfect, beautiful and accommodating. The valley and mountains provide a beautiful backdrop, Camelback and the private homes provides numerous amazing pictures for keepsake and their coordinator is the absolute best! The drinks are amazing and the food is even better. The coordinator, Lauren, is professional and knows her stuff. She brings experience and common sense to a craze filled destination wedding. If I could do it all again I would return to Sanctuary without a doubt.

I could not have picked a better venue to get married in. From the first visit to the end they took great care of me and everyone else. They provided me with a great list of vendors and I actually ended up choosing a few of them for our day. Lauren, the wedding coordinator, was always available for me when I had questions and she made the day of run perfectly smooth. The staff was amazing and everyone that stayed there could not stop raving about it. I am so happy that we celebrated our marriage there.
