Not only did we have to gather our guests for an earlier event, Nikki had to get the crew moving for set up and ensure the cellist would be available as well. Even during a tropical storm when the beach was gone and there were high winds, Cathy figured out a way to work with all the vendors to make the Ceremony and Reception look like a million bucks. Cathy and Lisa made sure everything was right(even monitor the weather just in case for plan B since the wedding was in July(during the rainy season) for the Big day, they organized my vow renewal from beginning to end with us in mind. I live in Alabama but wanted a sunset wedding in Florida so planning a wedding over 700 miles away was going to be no small task. Planning a destination wedding proved to be challenging so I really appreciate Cathy knowledge, experience, and candor when it came to weighing different decisions. Great communication and responsiveness via phone and email. They have beautiful wedding setups and decorations for the packages which was really hard to choose what decorations. We spent a lot of time looking at different options, venues, caterers, photographers, DJs, etc and by the time we came across Sand Petal Weddings we could not have been happier to hand all of that over to somebody else. I consider myself to be pretty handy, well organized and good at planning but I could never have imagined how much really goes into planning a wedding! It was very apparent Cathy and Lisa both have a ton of experience and knowledge on planning such special events and they quickly put our mind at rest that it would all be taken care of. They were very understanding with our budget restraints and were in no way pushy to upgrade/sell us things we didn’t want which was great! Originally we were very hesitant about hiring a wedding planner/organizer or buying a “package” as we’d always assumed it would be far more expensive, but I really don’t think we could have put it together without them for any less money and I’m sure it wouldn’t have been even half as amazing. They really do have every possible detail covered and have a plan for everything . I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We had originally wanted to go to somewhere like Aruba or Hawaii for our beach wedding but family members were opposed to flying out of country so when I found Sand Petals it turned out to be even better because not only is Siesta Key beyond beautiful but we had so much fun doing so many different things on the island and then topped it off with our honeymoon at Walt Disney World complete with the Minnie & Mickey Mouse wedding hats!!! It was all a perfect dream come true and only wish we could do it over and over again!!!! :)

here everyone would to stay and the logistics of everything but Sand Petals made it super easy! The welcome packet we received had all kinds of suggestions for not only hotels but area restaurants and hair stylists and transportation! We weren't able to fly there before booking but when we did 3 months later Lisa met with us at the warehouse and patiently showed us all of the different options even helping to create something that would flow perfectly with the colors I wanted! We did a cake tasting while we were there too and that was fabulous as well! We loved all of the people they hired! The steel drummer at our ceremony was awesome! The Dj was awesome too and had everyone up and dancing all night! We just simply had the night of our lives! I cannot think of anything that went wrong! It was absolutely perfect! It is hard now to attend other friends and family regular banquet room type weddings without Todd and I looking at each other with a smile knowing our wedding was beyond amazing! They didn't originally have the color bows that my bridesmaids would be wearing, but after I sent them a color swatch, they were able to order something new and it matched perfectly.. We chose the aquarium reception, and it was awesome. Guests can roam around and look at a majority of the exhibits. It definitely makes for a unique experience. The DJ they provide was great as well! We had a lot of people tell us that it was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they had been to. I can't recommend SPW enough.

was walking on the beach one day. She went up to the wedding planner and asked for a card so she could give it to me. She said the wedding was beautiful and that we should consider getting married in Siesta Key and using Sand Petals. Well the research began. I found out that Siesta Key is ranked as the #1 beach in the US. Then I began looking at the Sand Petals website which described out all of the different options. My dad, my husband and I decided we had to go check it out for ourselves. We met with Lisa who couldn't have been nicer. She went over every detail with us and my husband and I became so excited. Before making a final decision, we decided to go check the beach out. As we walked out on the beach imaging everything Lisa had just told us, we knew it was perfect for us. So, we went back the next day to meet with Lisa one last time before we flew home to Maryland. We picked a date, made a deposit and the wedding planning began. Now I was a bit worried about how I would plan a wedding in Florida while living in Maryland. I can't thank Lisa and Catherine enough for answering every question I had. I was a rookie at this, so I had no idea what I was getting into, but Lisa and Catherine made it so easy. We had several emails back and forth over the 10 or so months. They also gave me a bridal questionnaire packet that explained exactly what I needed to pick out. They even provided all of the vendors, so I didn't have to go searching for them. My husband and I went back to see Lisa and Catherine a couple months later so we could choose the décor, colors, etc. which helped a lot because we got to see first hand what we were choosing. When the big day finally came, I could see the wedding tent going up from my room. I would peak out every now and then to see what else had been set up. Each time I looked, I would get more excited. Once I finally got out on the beach, dressed and ready to go, I was completely blown away. It was amazing. It was everything I had ever dreamed of. Every detail was perfect. The officiant was very sweet, food was amazing, staff was very helpful and friendly, the cake was out of this world, and the DJ played every song we wanted to hear and more. This combination made for a unforgettable wedding. Every guest repeated over and over how beautiful everything was. I even had several people tell me that it was the best wedding they had ever been to! Lisa and Catherine did such an amazing job helping me plan my dream wedding and getting every detail perfect down to the last bow. As I look back now, 3 weeks later, I wouldn't change a single thing. I am so thankful for Lisa and Catherine. They are truly amazing and I would recommend Sand Petals to any and every new bride. You wont regret it!

W by simple searching google for Florida beach weddings. I was blown away by how beautiful everything was on the pictures, I truly thought it was too good to be true. Especially everything that was included in their packages. Needless to say, I was hesitant at first to entrust strangers to create my most memorable day at a place on the gulf I've never even been.
