The team at Sandestin was with us every step of the way planning our wedding. From early plans of picking out venues and meals to the small details getting done on the day of the wedding. The team is helpful and responsive at all times. Having the wedding at Sandestin also meant that all of our family and friends were centrally located that made it feel like our own special resort just for our wedding. Having all of the amenities and things to do with all our guests in one place really made having fun and seeing everyone so easy. Sandestin is perfect for the fun loving wedding because of everything it has to offer while keeping the wedding party together. But what set it apart for us was the team of people ensuring that every thing ran perfectly the week and day of. We had weather issues and other normal inconveniences pop up but the Sandestin team made sure that none of that affected our day. They always had backup plans and other options if anything became an issue and they were always the first ones to figure it out. Their entire goal seems to be ensuring that the bride and groom get everything they wanted out of their wedding weekend or day. We can't thank them enough and would highly recommend having your event there.

really taken care of. She was available for many questiosn even sending specific photos of the venue. We took a chance and booked the venue based on reviews and the website. Jessalyn was our day of coordinator and is the best. She handled coordinating with our vendors, ensuring we had a realistic timeline and set up for the day. Additionally, finding and setting up a backup location for rain call. Our guest to this day still rave about the food (crab cakesand the chocolate cake were standouts.) Overall we were veey happy with how the team worked to ensure our special day went off without a hitch.

’t, what was included in the quote and what wasn’t. I was never surprised by the information I was given. It was such a huge relief!! Kim also was so patient with my crazy back and forth to save a few bucks! She not only understood but tried to help in every way she possibly could!! Leading up to the wedding I was very stressed trying to do as much as I could and save those few last dollars. Kim told me it was time for Jessalyn to take over and the hand off was seamless!! Jessalyn took everything off my plate about two weeks before the wedding which was very surprising to me because I was only expecting help the day of the wedding. She took over contacting the other vendors to make sure they knew who what when where and why and finalized the schedule for the day of the wedding leaving me nothing to do but enjoy the fact that my wedding was finally here!! As soon as we arrived at San Destin Kim and Jessalyn were ready! They greeted me at my hotel helped me get checked in and helped calm my nerves for the dinner rehearsal. Side note, my fiancée and I attended the funeral of one of our very dear friends hours before our dinner and so when I say these two ladies went above and beyond, its and understatement! Wedding day- they had everything under control. I was able to get my hair and make up done in peace and enjoy time with my girls and family. They met with all the vendors when they showed up and really just made the day as stress free as possible for me and my husband. Even flexed our entire wedding since we had to move it inside due to rain, and again did that without stressing the bride!! During the wedding they made sure we ate food, had water or our drink of choice the whole time, and kept the timeline on track all the way up to our coordinated exit!! Jessalyn even rallied some of the guest that had a little too much. My only complaint is that the wedding is done and these two ladies have other brides to focus on other than me!! Working with them was like working with my best friends who had nothing but our best interests in mind. Here’s my advice, spend an extra few bucks! You won’t regret it 🙃🙃

ce to have a destination wedding for our guests. However, as a bride it makes me sad to say that I wish that my experience working with them had been better. I tried to be as understanding as possible but communication was poor from the very beginning of us booking with them. We would go weeks without responses and as it got closer to our wedding we thought that would get better and it didn't. My outside day of coordinator had to constantly follow up on things, which went beyond his contracted duties. I think for as many venue choices that they have, there wasn't enough people on their team to handle the 2022 wedding boom. Then, both wedding coordinators on the resort quit two weeks prior to our wedding. The new coordinator, Kim, who stepped in did a great job getting caught up, was super responsive, friendly, and did everything she possibly could to make sure what we had planned for an entire year went off without a hitch. At the end there were a lot of hidden prices (factor in taxes and service fees when you're budgeting), anything outside of the basics cost extra, our guests food was overcooked and dry, our appetizers were cold, and they supplied us one bartender for 106 guests. Overall, our wedding was beautiful and we were incredibly happy that day being surrounded by the people we love in a stunning setting. However, I think there are other places you can get better value for your money that are just as beautiful and less expensive. Like The Beach House Restaurant, which is on the resort but separate from the SanDestin. We had our rehearsal there and our experience working with Kelly there was fantastic. I know SanDestin is working on restructuring their wedding program but just some things to be mindful of if you are still deciding. These are just some things I wish that I knew beforehand.

We told them our vision & budget and they made it happen. Working with them made this whole wedding process easy and stress free!! Zoe helped make our day SO special!!

ests didn't have to move their cars somewhere else. The venue is perfect for a small intimate wedding with close family & friends. Mary-Katherine Owen was an awesome wedding manager there! She helped me plan & eased my mind when I was starting to stress out when there were a couple of bumps in the road! She was so great to work with, professional, great customer service! She got along great with us and bridal party! She even stepped in last minute when my day of coordinator wasn't able to make it & helped us get through the day & it turned out amazing, she helped us stay organized & on time!! I couldn't have asked for a better person to help us out when push came to shove. They also did our catering for our elegant feast buffet which turned out great as well, all our guests enjoyed it from cocktail hr to dinner buffet! Open bar was totally worth it! Also Ken Mealor with the A/V Team, decorated the outside terrace as well as uplighting for reception & it was easy to work with him also & he took all my suggestions & turned it into something sooo pretty & wonderful & i couldn't have imagined it any other way! From the pink lighting lanterns to the string lights & uplighting of palm trees to uplighting of reception!! I highly recommend having your wedding at Sandestin, the team was Great!! Totally worth it!

reception still held at the beautiful Bayview Room and Terrace. The wedding coordinator, Mary-Katherine Owen, truly saved the day and turned our last minute inside wedding, into the most beautiful and magical indoor/outdoor covered patio fairytale. The resort was the perfect place for our families and friends to spend the weekend hanging out at the beach, having a bonfire on the beach with s'mores and pizza, shopping, and even going out with out friends. We had people from all over the world, everywhere and all ages rom Louisiana all the way to England and Sweden, and all had a wonderful time. Mary-Katherine made our day and week relaxing, exciting, fun, magical, special, and even better than we ever thought our wedding would be. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We used Sandestin for catering as well, and it was truly the best food our family and friends had ever had. Not only was the resort beautiful, there were so many activities for everyone, and transportation provided within the resort for our guests without cars. We could not be happier with our choice for our special day.

to a variety of affordable accommodations and activities onsite. Aside from the attractions, our experience with all of the vendors was wonderful. Angela, Special Events Manager, was timely, informative, and always willing to go the extra mile to address a question or ensure we had what we needed to make our day beyond perfect. She made sure our day was seamless! Chef created delicious meals that our guests could not stop raving over and customer service representatives were very friendly and helpful across the property. What we loved most about having our wedding at Sandestin was that while the beauty and elegance of the property gave our wedding that special touch, it still had a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere all of our guests could enjoy. We couldn't have asked for a better location and experience for our wedding!

e service was impeccable. We can't say enough about how professional and accommodating the staff was. All 5 events we had at the property over the weekend were incredible. Our resort event coordinator paid attention to every last detail, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch and exactly as planned. Thanks to her, our big day was absolutely perfect. She and the rest of the resort staff really went above and beyond the entire weekend. All of guests (many of whom are very well traveled) kept telling us how impressed they were with the accommodations, level of service received, and activities (for adults and kids) available on property. We couldn't have selected a better place to have our wedding! We will definitely be coming back to enjoy the property many times!!!

in the Bayview room. We had approx. 70 guests. Everything was beautiful. The food was wonderful. Our guests had an amazing time. There is so much to do at the resort that it was a special vacation for us, our family and friends. This was a destination wedding so after visiting in 4/13 and booking the venue, we did not return until the week of the wedding. Dayley Gunnells was our Special Events Manager at Sandestin. She was extremely helpful through the entire planning process. She provided a preferred vendors list for DJ, flowers, etc. and we were extremely happy with all of our vendors. From group rates for our guests to exploring options for our next day brunch, Dayley helped with every detail in a timely manner. As a destination bride, I can attest that you will get all the help you need in the planning process. We can't wait to return to the Sandestin Resort. Thank you!

he bay was amazing for the ceremony and for the reception it was inside. The coordinator was prompt and very detailed to all of our needs. The catering was very good and we had amazing time. I completely recommend looking into the resort, there is so much to do while on vacation for the wedding. The resort has a bay area, beach area, golf are and so many activities. Ours was a destination wedding and we choosed Sandestin. Our family and friends loved it as well.

They included folding white chairs, a table for our sand ceremony, and four bamboo posts (you have to have someone decorate the bamboo posts for you). Our reception was held immediately after in the Finz Loft. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue! The Loft was amazing. It had a great view of the beach, was decorated gorgeously, and made for a perfect reception. It is perfect for couples that are sick of the traditional reception venues in ballrooms and such and want something unique. This was perfect for our group that was under 50 people. The staff who worked our reception were fabulous! LOVED our bartender! Food was also delicious :)

n food alone, our first bill was $23,000 and after making them fix everything they had over charged us for... it ended up being $13,000. thats a HUGE difference.(example, we had an open bar the whole time so we wanted regular liquor and naturally they slipped in the premium prices) just watch them. the only other problem we had was the way the "wedding coordinator" made me feel. the whole time she was basically tell me in a "nice" way that i had a cheap wedding.... including our wedding bands our total cost was over $100,000!! and she was making me feel cheap about EVERYTHING! if you have tougher skin then me and want a pretty venue to get married at Sandestin was great... you just have to be very tough with them

ou're not using a wedding coordinator, you'll hear about it. I was offended that even after my beautiful wedding a comment was made that she always suggests brides use at least a day of coordinator. There is also a swap of contact person for the day of the event, which was a bit of a shock to me as it was not addressed up front. The view over the bay (we were at the Bayside Inn) was breath-taking and our photos turned out gorgeous. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it! It's definitely a day we'll look back on with fond memories for all of our life.

Sandestin Hilton was beautiful - our guests enjoyed their stay, the ammenities were explicit, the food was delicious, and the staff was very considerate!
