our goal to give each client the exact date they are hoping for, but unfortunately that is not always possible. In this instance, there was a lack of clarity about the date that you wanted. In fact, on the day that the other bride asked for this specific date, your wife was still asking us to check other available dates. This led to some confusion on our end. I am truly sorry for the frustration this caused you all. And we wish the bride and groom all the best in their wedding planning!

ad at Sandlewood Manor (SWM). We hoped your schedule would have allowed for us to meet in-person after your event, as originally planned, but we understand that there was a conflict for you, and so it necessitated addressing these things in this format. Regarding the facility issues that arose during your event, we could not be more sorry!! We understand how disheartening these made your multi-day event, having to deal with these frustrations on our end as well. About breakfast, it was an honest human mistake; while managing the full range of moving parts of your event, it was an oversight and are deeply sorry this caused you distress! The elevator was serviced/inspected on Feb 1, however, a part went out the 2nd day of your event. Due to supply chain issues, we were not able to get it functioning during your event. As mentioned, the weather was the culprit for much of what went awry during the wedding, including water heaters malfunctioning in the Manor. Two of them were replaced less than 24 hours after the initial issue, but again, we were limited due to supply chain. When we lost water pressure, because of CenterPoint's (CP) equipment issue, we did everything as quickly as possible to resolve this, including dozens of emergency calls to CP to get service outside of regular business hours. When this occurred we had two choices before us: #1- we could have ended the event, contractually. This would have required us to send everyone off-site immediately. #2- keep the party going by utilizing an outside water source to maintain the restrooms. We opted for the second, to keep the celebration moving forward. In all, this was handled in less than 3 hours, including getting CP to the property and resolving the issue completely! Nonetheless, we do understand how upsetting that must have been for you both. As far as the groom's quarters, it should have remained unlocked except with the code, however all we can do at this juncture is apologize for the unfortunate circumstance and discomfort that it caused him. Because of our liquor license, we are not allowed to serve beer in the Groom's quarters before 7am. The keg and an Old Fashioned bar were provided that evening, for a private cocktail hour for your bridal party in lieu of the AM keg. The bridal party informed us that you cancelled the private cocktail hour without seeing what had been done on your behalf by SWM. The vendors were told they would have access at 12pm, for post event pick-up, but showed up at 10am, when there was not a staff member present to open the ballroom. Regarding the venue coordinator, there were over 330 emails back and forth, between her and you, your planner and all involved in your wedding plans, June 2021 until the event, not to mention countless phone calls, in-person and Zoom meetings. We sympathize with your frustration, however, there was no lack of communication on her part, or on our part as the owners, going so far as to give you our personal cell phone number. Our venue coordinator, as well as several staff members went above and beyond for your event: *Complimentary overnight rooms, *Staying onsite throughout the entire event, *Mimosa bar set-up on Day 1 of your event, *Staff coordination, cleaning coordinated, room set-ups and teardowns for all 5 events, *Last minute layout changes from both you and your planner for all 5 events, added coffee stations at last minute requests, *Assisting your vendors with flips per those last minute changes -ie Chai cart, marquee letters, propane heaters, etc. (None of which was our obligation to do), *Heater placement in 24 degree temperatures during outdoor ceremony, *SWM provided a make-up artist in less than 45 minutes after yours canceled.
