I had toured the venue March 2021 and have been in constant communication with the owner and general manager. We ended up depositing to book our wedding for 11/5/2022 around 8/2021. We received a text from the general manager (Tiffany) and she ...said there was a three day wedding booked during our wedding so we should move it and that we would receive 25% off the rental cost and get the whole building to ourself due to the inconvenience. (So we agreed because who wants to have a wedding the same time someone else is too) Fastforward to 3/2022 for the grand opening of the venue, I had to contact the owner because the proposal did not have the 25% discount (only a 14% discount). We had a meeting with the owner and he said he does not know anything about the 25% discount, general manager is no longer with them, and there was no three day wedding booked in Nov so he does not honor the discount. (I sent the owner the proof via text and told him she even mentioned it on HoneyBook where all the owners are attached and upped all the prices for food, drinks, cake cutting, and also charge for the GOLD PACKAGE (premium gold chairs and decor) that was suppose to be with it. So we had a 12K increase in our proposal. As a customer , we are just in shock because we had signed our deposit back in 8/2021 and the proposal is NOW BEING UPDATED and now it is so much more expensive.
I would be stressed out thinking about how the proposal can change 3 days prior to my wedding date. As a result, my fiance and I decided to look for other venues because how can I plan this wedding in advance and still have to deal with this. I was only able to get back 1000 from my 5000 deposit. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS VENUE TO ANYONE.
