Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens is a wedding venue located in Chagrin Falls, OH. This location blends luxurious indoor and outdoor spaces. Here, you and your guests have the opportunity to celebrate your special day surrounded by beautiful scenery and comfortable accommodations.
Inspired by the wineries of the Napa Valley, Kathleen and Andy Dangelo established Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens. They sought to bring a unique winery experience to Ohio, providing a specialized event space along the way. You can celebrate your ceremony and reception on-site at the winery. Your service can take place on the Great Lawn, a manicured stretch of green that is surrounded by oak and beech trees or our Woodlands Pavilion. Our garden setting provides a beautiful backdrop for you to exchange your vows against. The paved patio space includes water features and outdoor fire pits for the comfort of you and your guests. A stunning reception can be held in the Oak Room, a bright and airy event space that features floor-to-ceiling windows. You can arrange banquet dining for you and your guests in this space, offering them exquisite views of the winery’s landscape.
Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens offers an all-inclusive experience for couples that wish to spend their special day at the property. Some features of these packages include full-service catering from the talented culinary staff at the winery. A team of service staff will be on hand to assist you with everything you need for the duration of your event, making your experience a blissful and memorable one.

mbiance is already top tier and speaks for itself, but the ENTIRE team Sapphire Creek has makes the day what it is- complete perfection. From the very start, Lexie Limer, Sapphire’s coordinator, was informative, flexible, engaging and just so lovely to work with. No question was a stupid question and no ask was too much for her. Every request was met with a detailed and thorough answer and made planning our special day a lot less hectic than most couples get to experience. Every single detail and step from securing the wedding date to the very end of picking up your decor after your wedding is meticulously thought through and made easiest on you. Although we have had many dinners at Sapphire, they still go out of their way to put together a memorable wedding tasting and a beautiful rehearsal walkthrough before your big day. Not to mention, we utilized pretty much all of their approved vendors which were all absolutely incredible!!! Although we worked most closely with Lexie… the head chef and sous chefs, waiters (shout out to our girl MJ), bartenders, valet and security were real and genuine people, excited to be a part of our big day and performed the absolute BEST service to us and all our guests. Overall, every single cent we spent to have our wedding at Sapphire was 100% deserving and well spent. I am a type A kind of person when it comes to planning and hosting and there is not ONE single thing I would’ve changed. The venue itself is truly stunning—lush gardens, modern architecture, natural wood and stone elements, and a peaceful, romantic atmosphere that made our wedding feel like a dream come true. Every single guest commented on how breathtaking the space was.
But what truly made the day flawless was working with Alexis, Sapphire Creek’s incredible wedding planner. Alexis was, without a doubt, one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience. She was kind, organized, calm under pressure, and genuinely cared about every single detail. From the first planning meeting to the final moments of our big day, Alexis went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. She thought of things we never would have, anticipated every need, and made us feel so taken care of.

The day of our wedding, there was a literal monsoon and Lexie and her team handled the adjustments with ease so I didn’t have to stress about a thing. There were so many outdoor areas for the guest to explore, along the trails, and the architecture of the winery was breathtaking. We enjoyed being able to have our ceremony outside in front of the fire, with our cocktail hour and reception inside. Lexie. She was so great with her email contact and getting answers to questions to us in a timely manor. On the day of our wedding, it rained and the whole staff from lexie to kitchen and bar staff and valet was out there moving the chairs under the pavilion and getting the chairs dry. They were able to get this all done in time for ceremony start. I didn't even feel the stress! The food was amazing and during the reception the Chef came and checked on my husband and i personally. The only thing that makes a place like sapphire creek better is the amazing staff that is present.

ny. The venue itself is naturally beautiful so you don't need to spend a lot on additional items because of the gardens and aesthetic already in/around/at the venue.
2). The service is top notch. Lexi was our wedding day coordinator (baked into the cost of the venue) and she basically acted as our wedding planner a year out! The service during the wedding was top notch as well - we had a personal server attending to our needs prior to the ceremony and after the ceremony. They do a great job on taking care of you and your partner!
3). Details - they are very detailed oriented and provide clear timelines on what needs to be done. The executed our vision very well for the wedding day itself and we were speechless once we saw everything come together
4). Food and drink - it's pretty unreal how good the food is especially when they are providing it for so many people. Our guests couldn't stop raving about their dinners! Drinks were also on point and we had some specialty cocktails that were very consistent throughout the night.
5) Guest feedback - they said it was one of the most beautiful weddings they've ever attended. Grant it - there's a lot of work to be done as a bride and groom but the wedding venue/staff execute incredibly well on your vision and how to make the day special.
Overall, you really don't need to look any further. We spent weeks comparing California venues to Sapphire and by the end of it, we couldn't be happier with our decision. Lexi and team - thank you!!

Creek provided the highest level of professionalism and care throughout the entire wedding planning process to help bring our dream day to life. I always felt at ease knowing that all of our hopes and plans for the day would be executed seamlessly, and they did not disappoint on our wedding day! SCW was also very open to working with other professional vendors to help tailor our day to exactly what we envisioned. We had numerous guests gush about the gorgeous grounds- every inch makes you feel like you are transported into a fairytale. Many guests also mentioned that it was one of the best meals they’d ever had at a wedding. We also loved their tradition of “burying the bourbon” a month before the wedding- it successfully helped to ward off any rain and was another unique memory that we wove into our day. It was truly the most magical day of our lives and we couldn’t recommend it more for those looking for a spectacular venue!

Getting ready was amazing, the space upstairs for the bridesmaids was great. The lighting was incredible so it made our makeup artist happy and was great for pictures. The guys loved hanging out downstairs and watching tv. It was also so stress free being all in one place all day, we didn’t need to do any coordinating of getting around to multiple locations. It was something I didn’t even realize when booking but cannot imagine any other scenario!

On the wedding day I truly didn't have to worry about anything. Alexis and the crew were so helpful in setting everything up exactly like I envisioned. Everyone was also just so nice and attentive the entire day. We had two amazing butlers serving us on our wedding day to always ensure we had everything we needed which was just so nice (I even got a last minute cocktail before walking down the isle!). In addition to a fantastic team, the venue is absolutely gorgeous. Every guest commented on how lovely the property was and thoroughly enjoyed walking around and taking pictures at the many scenic places. The area where the reception was held was so beautiful and the team at Sapphire creek takes tremendous pride in making sure it is exactly how you imagined it for your wedding day. The Bury the Bourbon tradition is a unique and intimate touch that they offer couples and makes for a memorable moment with the wedding party. Lastly, we had so many compliments on the food! All of our design elements popped and were complimented by the natural beauty of the venue itself. The Sapphire Creek staff were incredibly supportive, attentive, and professional (e.g., Jamie took care of the bride / groom, wedding party, and immediate family – drink orders were taken prior to the ceremony so we had our drinks for cocktail hour without having to worry about it). All of our guests raved about how beautiful the space was, how delicious all of the food was, and how wonderful of an event our wedding was. phire Creek made us feel like we were in good hands. Everyone was very professional, kind, and friendly. Our wedding coordinator, Meghan, was super organized, diligent, and thorough. I probably sent her over a hundred emails over the course of the planning process and she was always so quick to respond, patient, helpful, and clear. She made everything feel easy and fluid. On the day of the wedding, the staff helped set up all of our decor and they did such a great job. As an event planner myself, I like to have control over all of the details but, with this team supporting me, I was able to completely let go and enjoy the day. During the event, Jodie helped make sure the bridal party, our parents and close family had personal service all night. She was lovely! Grace, and the rest of the staff were so sweet. At the end of the night, they helped us pack everything away and made it easy to grab the next morning.
We got SO many compliments on the wedding, especially the food. And I quote “the sweet potatoes were so good…and I don’t even like sweet potatoes!” The food is made to order and served very expediently. We appreciated that they don’t serve food or clear tables while there is an activity taking place like speeches or dances so as not to interrupt. Also loved that they didn’t clear our food until much later in the night so we could enjoy to when we had a moment!

, perfect!! The venue, the food (5 star) and the way it came together was absolutely beyond words! Our guests are still coming up to us saying it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. The staff was so attentive that from the start of the morning till the end of the night we didn’t have to worry about anything and just enjoyed every moment of our daughter’s special day. Meghan was a Rock Star, there was not one hiccup and she was on top of every detail! Jodi made sure we didn’t want anything - during pictures she made sure we had appetizers (which were amazing) and drinks. Sapphire and their team crushed it and thank you doesn’t seem to be enough! Absolutely best wedding venue all around!

I cannot speak highly enough about the on-site coordinator, Meghan, who was amazing to work with! She helped coordinate every detail and timeline so that the day flowed smoothly. My wedding would not have been possible without her guidance along the way! Jodi was a staff member who took care of the bride and groom and parents of the bride and groom on the wedding day. She made sure all of our needs were met promptly and efficiently- she truly helped to make the day of stress-free! The food is incredible- all of our guests were raving about it!! Everything from the venue, to the staff, to the food and drinks was spectacular! I highly recommend Sapphire Creek as a wedding venue!
