Sara was wam bam on time, and her personality really comes through in her shots. My wife and I wanted a photographer that passed my critique ... ha. I am so picky... from style, detail, creativity, and colors. I remember going through 8-10 photographer portfolios before I narrowed it down to 2 to pick from. Of course cost, availability, and their acceptance with same sex marriage was asked. Sara and I hit it off fast. Easy to talk to, schedule, layout, and she actually helped us figure out what we needed to do. I loved her portfolio, and even the simple shots looked great. I love her play on color and her eye for detail was what I was looking for. We would absolutely hire her again. Her communication was exceptional, and from text to emailing she is just so prompt. Sara is great! She is so talented and has been very kind and flexible in working with us, customizing a photography package that met our needs. I was drawn to her work in the first place because of her creativity - each photo is thoughtfully composed and each wedding genuinely looks unique to the couple. It feels like some photographers use the same boring poses for each couple, but not Sara. In our engagement photo shoot, Sara helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and provided us with occasional posing guidance when we didn't know what to do, but then she let natural moments unfold between us and captured them beautifully. Sara is very open to new locations or ideas, and she focuses on capturing what's most important to you. We are very pleased with our engagement photos and can't wait for our wedding photos!

Sara never made our engagement session feel posed, awkward, or forced...she captures natural interactions. She was willing to go with the flow and try a new photography spot for our session despite it being out of the norm. Sara has a great artistic eye that produced stunning photos. She is always thinking outside the box to give you more than just the old school stuffy photos people used to have. We have had many compliments on our photos and look forward to working with her soon for our wedding.
