Our wedding was such an amazing day, thanks to Paul and Karen. They did a great job on all the music for the ceremony and reception, and the flow of everything felt so relaxed. They were very professional to work with during the entire process, and when we provided song titles, Paul made sure to confirm which version we wanted since there are usually more than one. They were more than willing to accommodate a speech from the Father of the Groom at the last moment. The photo booth was a huge hit - there are so many funny pictures that came out of it. The music the team picked was excellent - it was quiet enough during dinner to talk, and then great music to both dance to and just talk to after dinner. We will keep them in mind if we have any future events.

Saratoga Sound was phenomenal for our wedding! Karen and Paul were the sweetest people to work with and so knowledgeable. They were responsive, professional and fantastic musicians. We chose the option of having them play live music during our guests arrival, ceremony and cocktail hour and then switch over to DJing for the reception. The combination was perfect! The dance floor was packed from start to finish and all our guests raved about how fun the wedding was. The uplighting the my added to our venue, the personalized name display on their set up and attention to detail really elevated the whole experience for all. We also included their Photo Booth- which was so fun. Definitely glad we added it on. Our guests loved that the photos could be instantly sent to them and that they had access to all the photos afterwards. We honestly couldn’t recommend Saratoga Sound more- 10/10 ⭐️

Karen and Paul are a dream to work with. They GET it and will customize your wedding to fit your vision. We originally gave them a HUGE list of "must plays" but when it came down to it, we just said "do your thing" and I am THRILLED to report that was the best decision ever. They got the crowd going, kept them going, and slowed it down at just the right spots. We got so many compliments on them from all our guests. If you're wavering, don't. Hire them now.

If you're considering Saratoga Sound as your DJ, book them. They care about their couples, they're very easy to work with and extremely knowledgable in their field - offering to edit some of our ceremony / intro songs to avoid the more monotonous sections. They had our dance floor packed all night, people were even dancing on the carpet around the floor - not a single person was in their seat and only few stepped outside to cool down. Karen even went above and beyond to ensure my husband and I had whatever drinks we needed whenever we needed them. They're so loving and it shows through every meeting and every moment throughout the day. We're so bummed we didn't get to hear their acoustic performance during cocktail hour but all our guests were raving about them! Fantastic singing voices for cocktail hour turned into energetic DJ for the party. So easy and knowledgeable. All I had to do was report my favorite genres and they took care of the rest! They were fantastic!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful of an additional Karen and Paul were to our wedding night. Communication and payment was a breeze, easily accommodating some payment issues we had due to being out of country. They provided an hour of acoustic during cocktail hour and DJ services for the reception dinner. It was the perfect combination and we had guests raving throughout. My wife and I were also surprised by a special custom song written by my mom and acoustically performed by Paul. This level of service is really above and beyond what we could have asked for. We also had the pleasure of being their first wedding to feature their new AV system, designed with custom graphics, lyrics, and acted as a stunning centerpiece to the dance floor. Paul created super unique blends of pipe organ with Metallica! From my initial phone conversation with Karen, until the last dance played at our reception... Paul and Karen were fantastic. We had a select, specific list of certain songs to be played at certain times, and they performed it all flawlessly. We would recommend them to any couple without hesitation. They helped make it feel like a true "dream-come-true" day and evening.

The amazing acoustic ceremony and cocktail hour options are the perfect complement to their DJ/MC services ... and they are SOO AFFORDABLE with many options and combinations of services from which to choose! We are in our 40s and we didn't want the strobing lights, crowd pumping DJ type of vibe (although they can do that too!) so Saratoga Sounds was the perfect ceremony, cocktail hour and evening dancing all-in-one service! Karen handled a lot of the booking interactions and she's incredibly organized and thoughtful. Since they are wonderful artists in their own right (you need to hear their voices on their instagram, etc!), in addition to their amazing voices during my ceremony and cocktail hour, they were even able to use their full home studio equipment to (further) slow down a song I really, really wanted for my father-daughter dance. I'm so grateful to have found them and don't hesitate giving them a call. We got sooo many compliments on their work that night and they really did help make our wedding that much more special.

Both Karen and Paul were a joy to work with. We went over music tastes ahead of time and they nailed it on the wedding day. If I had to re-do everything (and we basically did, twice, due to COVID) I would book them again! We met Karen and Paul back in 2018 when we were planning our 2020 wedding. We could tell immediately how genuinely kind they were and felt right away that they were the right fit for us and the vision of our day. Karen was so kind and helpful throughout the planning process, which included 2 times we postponed. FOUR YEARS LATER they delivered above and beyond everything we hoped and wanted!!! When Zac and I were looking for the perfect DJ and acoustic duo for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, we came across Saratoga Sound DJ & Acoustic, and we knew that we would not be able to find anyone better! Listening to all their You-tube clips would give you chills and tears because they are that superb! Karen and Paul not only exceeded all our expectations, they were so accommodating, helpful, and their music style matched what Zac and I always listen to. We met Karen & Paul way back in 2018 at a bridal fair and knew immediately that they would be the perfect fit to DJ for our April 2020 wedding. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we needed to postpone our wedding (multiple times) but luckily Saratoga Sound was so accommodating and flexible! Instead of doing the original plan of a DJ we worked with them and decided to have Saratoga Sound provide live acoustic music for our more intimate December ceremony and small reception. They were absolutely amazing and set the perfect atmosphere! Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the music was and our family & friends watching our Facebook stream at home even thought the music was prerecorded that’s how good their live music was! They were very professional and their experience was evident. They worked with us to get to know our tastes and we enjoyed working with them as they are two of the nicest & most talented people!

Karen and Paul were fantastic to work with! We wanted elements of live, acoustic music, as well as a DJ dance party, for our wedding and Saratoga Sound was the perfect choice. They beautifully played guitar and sang for our ceremony and cocktail hour (even learned a song for our processional) and then created an incredibly fun dance party for our reception. Extremely Present If you have ever planned a wedding, you know that there are a lot of details to coordinate. You have different vendors asking you questions ranging from what food you want to eat, to what color napkins you want at your seat, to what kinds of music you want to be playing as appetizers are presented. As the bride and groom, you're making so many decisions. For many couples, you're preparing for a day where dear friends and family will travel from afar to focus on your love and your new combined future together. When planning a wedding, couples spend much of the wedding planning season (generally cheerfully) overwhelmed. The idea of sending one more email, meeting one more vendor, or making one more decision sounds like a lot. My husband and I got married in September 2020, right in the middle of a pandemic. We got married at River Stone Manor, and very few weddings were happening around this time due to pandemic regulations and general health concerns. We had even more to worry about than just our napkin colors - we wanted to have a beautiful celebration, even though we couldn't dance, we had to bring our masks, and some of our wedding party members wanted to stay at least 6 feet apart from all others, at all times. Karen and Paul helped to ease our decisions and worries, even in these unusual circumstances. Rather than endless streams of exchanged emails, they both arranged a time to call my husband and I when we wanted information about their services. They took their time on the phone, answered all of our questions, and repeatedly shared that they wanted to do whatever they could to make the day beautiful and relaxed for us. They called us, again, just before the wedding and reviewed all major details, constantly reassuring us that they were ready to go, had communicated with venue leadership, and were excited to provide music, live and recorded, for our day. Karen and Paul were also extremely attentive during the reception. Instead of dancing, we gave people an opportunity to make toasts. Karen invited guests to go and talk to her at any point throughout the evening if they thought of a story or memory to share. This ended up working out so well! Karen found beautiful moments, between songs, to invite our guests to speak. These ongoing speeches ended up being one of my favorite parts of our celebrations. If I had one tip to those planning weddings, try not to miss Karen and Paul's live music cocktail hour, if you choose to have this! My husband and I took photos during that time. We heard the music from afar, and I so wanted to be at the reception with everyone else. We heard incredible reviews from all of our guests! Karen and Paul are well-prepared for what they do. They have so much experience. They know how important and unique each individual wedding is. They are present and attentive with couples for every step of musical and sound system planning. They were a blessing to have at our wedding!

You can choose to have them play live (acoustic guitar and singing) for your ceremony (and pre-ceremony) and/or cocktail hour which was a huge bonus. They set the tone for a beautiful wedding! They're very talented DJs; they read the room to get a perfect balance between getting people up and on the dance floor, while also making sure those who wanted to socialize could do so without straining to hear each other. We mentioned that we wanted our first dance song shortened, but didn't want it to simply fade out at the end. They were able to edit the song to seamlessly cut out a verse instead! They also allowed us to send them our list of preferred songs, but also assured us they wouldn’t allow any pesky uncles to request the chicken dance or the like. When planning our wedding, we wanted both the dance party a DJ brings and the intimacy of acoustic live music.  Karen and Paul of Saratoga Sound are able to do both flawlessly!  Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and first dance were all done acoustically and pure magic.  Paul learned "Simply the Best" (acoustic version from Schitt's Creek) for our first dance and is it cheesy to say that it WAS simply the best?  Going into the reception, I was looking forward to dancing as long as I could celebrating with those I love.  Karen kept the party going and there wasn't a single moment people weren't filling the floor.  Both Karen and Paul read the room so well throughout the night.  The music can make or break the day and we have Saratoga Sound to thank for making our day the joyous celebration it was!
