Karen and Paul were the first vendors we hired on our wedding planning journey. From the very first day, it was clear that they are passionate about providing good music and good e...
nergy to all of their weddings. They were incredibly responsive (even responding on the same day while they were on vacation!) and easy to work with. They were organized and went out of their way to visit our property ahead of time to make sure they knew exactly where they were going and where they should set up day of. The live acoustic music they played during our ceremony and cocktail hour was beautiful and they kept our dance floor absolutely packed for our entire 3 hour reception. We were so thrilled to have them as a part of our day and could not recommend them highly enough.
Karen and Paul were amazing to work with! We were immediately drawn to Saratoga Sound because they were on our venue’s preferred vendor list and because they offer the best of both...
worlds - the intimacy and personalization of live acoustic music AND the fun of DJs.
Karen and Paul are talented singers and Paul is an incredible guitarist. They did a wonderful job playing acoustic for our ceremony and cocktail hour. We shared which songs we wanted played for the ceremony and they put together beautiful arrangements.
When it came time for our reception, they had everyone dancing - the young, the old, those who never dance, and those who said they hadn’t danced like that in 20 years.
On top of all of this, they were incredibly kind, professional, and organized. They took care of all AV setup, worked closely with our officiant to ensure he was mic’d up for the ceremony, and they worked closely with our venue to coordinate timelines. We could not ask for a better band/DJ experience!
When I first found Saratoga Sound online and listened to clips of their live music as well as their DJ receptions, I knew we had found our DJ for the wedding. After an initial meet...
ing with Karen and Paul, we immediately booked with them. They made planning so easy and helped work with us to shorten our parent dance songs while still feeling like they were a complete song! Saratoga Sound is the best of both worlds with their live acoustic music for cocktail hour, and DJ services for the reception, and our guests loved it! The music during the reception was at a good volume for dinner, and Karen even went up to my mom during dinner to check in which my mom really appreciated. They did an amazing job reading the dance floor and keeping the party going until the very end! They finished the night with Love Story which was one of my song requests, but I had not specifically requested it at the end – it ended up being the most perfect end to our wedding and a memory I will never forget. I cannot recommend Karen and Paul enough to future couples looking for live music and a DJ! Thank you, Karen and Paul!!

On the day of the wedding, setup was beautiful and added to the venues ceremony/reception decor without distracting from anything. They were fantastic on the mic by being engaging, professional, and perfectly in tune with the vibe of the party. They kept the party going all night without missing a beat and made sure everyone had a great time.
The photo booth they provided was a huge hit for everyone all night long and gave us great picture of our guests!
They were a pleasure to work with, so personable, reliable, and thoughtful. They truly helped make the process and our day feel effortless so we could focus on enjoying every moment.

On top of that, the up lighting, the powerpoint with our photos, and their energy were an incredible addition to our wedding in upstate NY. t. In the week leading up to our wedding, we had our final meeting and it eased our nerves so much. You could tell they just understood our vision and boy did they nail it on the big day!!! What a classy yet extremely fun and energetic wedding we had. We received so many compliments about how our dance floor was packed the whole time. The Photo Booth provided by them was also such a hit!
All in all, the best part was how we could trust them both to play songs we requested but also really read the room. Each song blended into the next. I think that is what you really want to find in a DJ.
Five stars all the way! Don’t think twice! Book them!!

For anyone looking to book with them, trust their process and experience. The live music Karen and Paul performed during our cocktail hour was a nice touch. Our dancefloor was lively all night and our guests had a great time. They provided everything we hoped for on our big day and were fantastic to work with.

l were exceptionally responsive via email, were helpful with planning out the music/timeline preferences, and gave us piece of mind with their professionalism and experience. Their professionalism and support continued into the wedding day, where they were simultaneously able to keep the energy and festivity going while making sure that things like toasts/speeches/special dances went off without a hitch-- we felt taken care of and celebrated, and definitely felt like we were in good hands. We continue to hear from our guests how much fun they had and how effortless the evening seemed, and we'd highly recommend Saratoga Sound to anyone planning their wedding or event!

mative, very responsive, flexible, and most importantly—true professionals with wonderful talent. Their live acoustic performance during our ceremony, made our precious moment that much more memorable. Not to mention that the playlist at our reception exceeded our expectations! They played banger after banger and we received many compliments from guests throughout the night. To be frank, I’ve never seen a dance floor so full at a wedding, thanks to these two. We appreciate you both for helping us achieve the best day of our lives! Cheers. Xoxo -Jess & TJ

ust haves” at the most perfect times. They were very professional, responded in a timely manner to all of our questions/concerns, and they were really accommodating to our time schedule. They were so sweet and fun to work with, and they made everything so easy for us. They are very reasonably priced, especially considering the wonderful service we received. We also utilized their photo booth, and they had the best props! All of our guests loved it, and it gave us some of the best memories of the night. We cannot recommend them enough. Absolutely amazing!!!

ibly responsive, always quick to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions. Their thoughtful approach to planning made us feel completely at ease, and they truly listened to our vision for the day. We had an excellent vidoe call with Karen and Paul to discuss our music taste, and they kept to our suggested playlist while also incorporating similar music during the wedding reception! Two things stood out most, first was how collaborative they were—working seamlessly with us and our venue to ensure everything ran smoothly. The music was spot on, the energy was perfect, and our guests had an amazing time on the dance floor. Second, was our favorite aspect of working with Karen and Paul - they not only provided great "DJ" services, but they played beautiful live music during our ceremony and cocktail hour that everyone loved and truly made the day that much more special! On top of all that, they were a tremendous value for the cost. We couldn’t be happier with our choice and would highly recommend Karen and Paul to anyone looking for a professional, personable, and talented DJ team!

ssful. We had a lot of input for the music played during our reception and the performance for the ceremony was magical. We found it easy to stay within budget and there was never any pressure to do anything we didn’t want. My wife and I absolutely recommend everyone to book with them.

which we thought was a long shot but we are so grateful they said “yes!”. They were so sweet and accommodated all of our special requests and timeline perfectly. Would 100% recommend. They also are available in Florida during winter months so would absolutely consider them if you are planning an event there!!
Saratoga sound was so accommodating, talented, professional, and organized! They were able to perform my ceremony song requests very well even though they were songs that they had ...
not performed before. They kept the party going on the dance floor the entire wedding and switched the music up depending on the vibes however also stayed true to our playlist! I even asked them to play my family members first dance songs throughout the night and they did that and my guests recognized their songs! During our ceremony and cocktail hour they played acoustic live and my guests felt that it really added to the drama and set the tone for the ceremony, just so beautiful!!! They reviewed every detail with you before hand to ensure everything runs smooth and is done how you wanted it. If you are considering booking with them I would highly recommend them!
Karen and Paul are wonderful to work with and extremely knowledgeable about their profession. We came to them with our half-baked ideas and playlists in the months before our weddi...
ng and they helped us iron out the details to make it possible. They communicated well, set up calls, and asked detailed questions to prompt our thought process.
Paul’s ability to cut up and mix songs was just what we were looking for. Karen’s announcement skills and attention to detail seemed effortless. From setting up the ceremony with mics and sound service, to reception entrances, individual dances, and toasts, to the dinner and reception soundtracks - they knocked it out of the park.
They helped set the pace for the whole night and made it so we didn’t have to worry one bit. They picked the right songs to play at the right times (namely Pink Pony Club) and it’s a night we’ll never forget because of it. We would highly recommend them to anybody.

ome decisions. They DJ’d our ceremony and reception and provided acoustic music for our cocktail hour. We cannot say enough good things, everyone danced across all ages! They rolled with the flow for our ring bearer walking to the song and it taking the whole time or just a fraction of time. You will not be disappointed!
We used Saratoga Sound as our wedding DJ and we could not be happier. Karen and Paul was so easy to work with and made picking all those important songs out super stress free! They...
were able to use an obscure cover of a random song from the depths of YouTube for our first dance song which was so perfect and amazing, I can't thank them enough. we also added they new Photo booth to our package, the Pricing was incredible and our guests had so much fun taking all the photos! Additionally, Paul and Karen played nearly all of our requested songs! Our guests were on the dance floor the whole time!
They were so friendly and nice and if you need a DJ, Saratoga Sound are the people to hire!

aylist that they put together. Karen and Paul were absolutely amazing to work with. You will be able to tell very quickly that they really love to do this and are amazing at it. Paul has an amazing voice; my wife absolutely loved him singing over the rainbow to star our ceremony. We could not have asked for better DJs for our special day!! Karen and Paul were especially responsive, accommodating of last minute requests (like playing a WWE walk out song for ...

ght of, like mics during personal vows, and announcing us at dinner. Thanks to their professionalism and artistry, everything was seamless! We had chosen songs for processional/recessional/first dance, but weren’t sure exactly what we wanted played for the reception. They were able to take our direction and run with it, and were incredibly responsive to what the crowd wanted to hear--everyone danced all night long, and we have received many compliments about the music! Additionally, it is worth mentioning that both Karen and Paul are kindhearted, patient, and attentive. They were a special part of our wedding day, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who is getting married in the area.

y impressed me - it was like they had looked into my Spotify account! We did request for them to edit our first dance song to cut a middle section out and it was SEAMLESS. If you didn’t know the song already, you would have never known it was edited! I would highly recommend using this team for your event.

ey were very professional to work with during the entire process, and when we provided song titles, Paul made sure to confirm which version we wanted since there are usually more than one. They were more than willing to accommodate a speech from the Father of the Groom at the last moment.
The photo booth was a huge hit - there are so many funny pictures that came out of it. The music the team picked was excellent - it was quiet enough during dinner to talk, and then great music to both dance to and just talk to after dinner. We will keep them in mind if we have any future events.

They had our dance floor packed all night, people were even dancing on the carpet around the floor - not a single person was in their seat and only few stepped outside to cool down. They're so loving and it shows through every meeting and every moment throughout the day. My wife and I were also surprised by a special custom song written by my mom and acoustically performed by Paul. This level of service is really above and beyond what we could have asked for. We also had the pleasure of being their first wedding to feature their new AV system, designed with custom graphics, lyrics, and acted as a stunning centerpiece to the dance floor. All in all we couldn’t be happier and would recommend them to anyone looking for a phenomenal mixed DJ / Acoustic experience! Thank you again -A&E
