Laura is great at what she does! Our first appointment with her was supposed to be an hour, but she spent 2.5 hours with us talking through each piece of our wedding because the flowers were important to me. The day of our wedding, our flowers ...were beautiful! She definitely will understand your vision and the look you are going for. As far as cons go, she was a bit difficult to get in touch with because she is in high demand. If you are looking for a florist that is super responsive, she is not your person. I would send her an email and she would answer some of my questions, but not all of them, that was somewhat frustrating to me. In regards to the wedding day, she called me the day before asking me what my rain day plan was because it was forecasted to rain. While I did appreciate her backup plan call, it certainly stressed me out because I was already overwhelmed. I would have appreciated the call a week before and not a day before my wedding. Regarding the flowers we received, I asked for no small blooms and some of flowers in my bouquet were tight and not open like we discussed. In addition, I asked for no greeniery and there were a few buds in the bouquets that had green steams. Luckily, my girls cut them out pretty easily. This was just frustrating because we had discussed these things ahead of time and there were notes in the contract about the specifics. Also, she told me the day before my wedding that she would not be able to be there to set up and she would be sending her assistants because she had a "harder" wedding to do. This was slightly offensive and I didn't appreciate her telling me the day before the wedding as I was already stressed out. Also, I paid $120 for flower petals down the aisle way and the day of they looked very scarce. Don't waste your money on this if you're thinking of doing it! My cake was supposed to have an entirely floral top, which I even confirmed with her on my call the day before, and it only had flowers on half the top! In addition, our floral piece for our pergola was supposed to have hanging greeniery and wisteria, but instead she made a large floral arrangement with no greens. It was however, beautiful, it's just not what I wanted. Lastly, my centerpieces were supposed to be purple orchids and they looked pink! And they were very skimpy looking in the vases because they did not put many in there. Overall, Laura is great to work with face to face during a consult and overall her flowers are beautiful, so I don't think you will be disappointed, but just expect that you may not get EXACTLY what you want and if you are picky, like me, you may want to pick a different florist. **BRIDES! Please read Laura's response below as it is rather unprofessional and somewhat rude. Instead of just taking my very honest and thoughtful feedback which was both critical and positive, she instead denied most everything I mentioned and did not assume any responsibility. Therefore, I'm updating my review to 2 stars. My best advice is to read responses from vendors, you can tell someones true character and level of professionalism through their words. Best of luck ladies!
