If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I booked the "Day Of" package but it was so much more than that. Keisha is a true professional and starting 6 weeks from my wedding day, was always available for me via text, email, or phone call. Even though I know she is running a successful business, I felt like I was her only client.
I booked at a venue that did not provide any vendors so the coordination of the vendors would be left to the couple. If I did not decide to work with Keisha, I would have spent the last month before my wedding on the phone with my vendors coordinating every tiny (but necessary!) detail. On the day of my wedding, Keisha coordinated with the caterers to ensure that all of our DIY decor were applied as I pictured, that the shuttles were where they needed to be, that the photographers were taking the right shots...and so much more. She essentially took care of everything for me and allowed me to just enjoy my day with friends and family.
SavvySelebrations provides excellent service at a low price. I highly recommend working with Keisha!
Savvy Selebrations made my wedding day spectacular! My husband and I wanted a warm, beautiful, family-focused event. We got it! Because of the short time frame (3 hourse for set-up, ceremony, reception, and tear-down), we needed everything to happen on time, yet feel effortless. Keisha delivered. Everything worked on schedule, but didn't feel forced. Because we were having a small wedding, I thought at first that a wedding planner was not necessary. I was completely wrong. There were so many things I would not have thought of, had I not had Keisha helping me through the process. There were still a lot of details to attend to, even with a small wedding. Keisha handled them perfectly and went the extra mile with everthing she did. My caterer was excellent in providing great food, but it was Keisha that made sure that the room was designed in a manner that made sense. There were some glitches on wedding day, but Keisha had them solved before I knew they were happening. Working with Keisha/Savvy Selebrations was a terrific experience. I would recommend this company for any special event. The creativity, attention to detail, and passion for the work is evident in everything.
I am a super-organized, detailed-oriented person and I knew I would need a day-of wedding planner to help me pull off all the amazing details I wanted to include in my wedding. I searched online and found that most of the people I was interested in were far too expensive for my budget. Then I found Savvy Selebrations on TheKnot.com and their fee was a fraction of the others. I asked my caterer's opinion about the situation since she'd been in the business for years. She said that I def should NOT go with a less expensive company because you get what you pay for. Good thing I DIDN'T listen to her advice because Keisha @ Savvy Selebrations was AMAZING. She met with me on several occasions to discuss my wedding and answered tons of questions over email. She was always punctual and responded quickly to my messages. Most importantly, she took care of every last detail that I requested on my wedding day. My wedding was seamless and I would not have been able to pull it off without Savvy Selebrations.
Keisha and her team were exemplary. I hired Keisha a few weeks before my wedding as a 'Day of Coordinator' for the wedding reception. I had a Do-It-Yourself party following our formal ceremony for more than 350 guests at my home. As you can imagine - things were crazy. We were having a tent the size of Texas filled with a dance floor and seating for 400. A full food buffet, and yard games spread across several acres of land: volleyball, horseshoes, corn hole, ladder ball, and a large 12 ft swimming pool and 12 person hot tub. We wanted everyone to have fun - but still be at the dance floor for the key reception events (first dances, toasts, etc)
I felt like I was going to lose my mind a few weeks before the wedding. I just knew I had forgotten some key detail. Keisha came in and put my mind at ease immediately. She went through the day with me ahead of time and called out any points that may have been lacking in planning. She took all of my scattered information and fed it back to me in an organized timeline. She created lists of my vendors, emergency contact sheets, and a minute-by-minute schedule of how the events should unfold. She was available for consultation and her advice was priceless. She truly put my mind at ease.
Knowing she was at the house getting things together for the reception while I was at the church getting married allowed me to truly be in the moment for the entire ceremony. I could never thank Keisha enough for the peace of mind she afforded me. I will always have those memories and am so glad we made the decision to hire her.
Once we got to the reception Keisha's face was the first one I saw as we exited the car. She kept me hidden from the guests, made the DJ aware of our arrival and lined the wedding party up for our announcements. In our absence she had coordinated all the vendors, handled every detail and dealt with quite a few 'on site' crisis' (my fault, not hers I assure you) with elegance and poise. No one knew things were anything but perfect. Not even me. :) Keisha absorbed all the stress from the entire day. The receptions events just unfolded in front of me - just as we had discussed. Everyone had a great time at the various activity centers, but they were at the dance floor for the key events. I have no idea how she did it - but she did. She even made sure I ate and stayed well hydrated throughout the evening (it was an outdoor reception... in June!). And her team took such great care of our guests and vendors. Our wedding 'supplies' just magically appeared - our cake cutting utensils, our champagne flutes for toasts... it was as if magical fairy's followed us and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Keisha made it seem effortless - but I KNOW for certain it wasn't. My family is not easy, by any means, and she handled them with finesse.
Keisha and team helped make my wedding day the absolute best day of my life. I highly highly highly recommend them. If I were to do it again I would make one change, however. I would have brought Keisha on board earlier in the planning process. I now realize that having Keisha there from the start would have actually saved me money in the long run and it would have made everything so much more fun! Keisha was a blast to work with. Believe me - it's worth it. Keisha's the best.
I used Savvy Selebrations for my October wedding and it was the best decision I could have made. To be honest, planning the wedding was an extremely daunting task that I was not looking forward to. I would comb through magazines and try to figure out what direction I wanted to go, but I would end up feeling confused and overwhelmed. I always had a fear that a wedding planner would be too overbearing so I avoided them as well. The best thing I could have done was enlist the help of this company. Our planner took me from apprehensive about planning to excited about each and every detail. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She presented amazing options and made sure the theme was coherent from my dress all the way to the smallest details of the reception. For the things I had a smaller budget for, she found solutions that were cost effective, but still gorgeous. She also listened to my ideas and took a lot of them to the next level making things even more fabulous. The level of creativity was truly astonishing and is definitely a talent I don't have so I was glad to work with someone who thought outside of the box. I look back at my scrapbook, pictures, and remember the day and it was definitely "together" because of our planner. I highly recommend Savvy Selebrations. They WILL make your day fabulous!!
