Moreover, Shawna went above and beyond in personalizing our wedding. As part of the full package she offered us to use anything in her storage. Pinterest Wedding and she has it! This was incredible to me because in the final weeks the number of details you need to think about can be very overwhelming. Shawna has all those perfect little details ready for you to use and I cannot thank her enough for making that part of the process so seamless. She even spray tanned me and my mother in law to give us the perfect wedding glow! We are eternally grateful to Shawna and team for their exceptional service, unparalleled expertise, and heartfelt commitment to making our wedding day perfect. Shawna was so helpful! Our venue didn’t require a coordinator, but she was by far the best investment in out day! Everything was on schedule and ran so smoothly. We hired her for day of coordinator but she did so much more, and was available from the moment we decided to work with her. My Fiancés grandmother was unable to make it and Shawna made sure to get the entire ceremony recorded for her, and we didn’t even know until afterwards. Shawna also brought an enormous kit for emergencies, helped when my sisters dress broke before the ceremony, and decorated our cake for us!

Shawna was Terrific. I found Shawna at the wedding fair in New Braunfels. She was very pleasant and easy to talk to and seemed equally excited I was getting married. I booked her for partial planning and decorations set up. Since I booked her far out from my wedding day she checked in monthly. Through out the year she was available for questions when needed and was even able to help with vendors. The week of my wedding She had everything under control I did not have to worry about anything, she reassured me and checked in on me. The day of my wedding went smoothly as well. I only had my nerves to worry about. I would absolutely recommend her to a couple getting married if they want a stress or worry free wedding.

Amazing Service, absolutely outstanding! I thought I wouldn’t need a planner to help us for our 20 year vow renewal. I hired them to help assist not even knowing how much I needed her. She was an absolute dream to work with. So many details to our event that I didn’t think of. It would have been an absolute nightmare without them! She made this happen so seamless. She made us feel so very special! Highly recommend using her and her amazing assistants.

Shawna earned her 5 star review, her and her assistant were absolutely amazing! I had a very small wedding only about 40 people. I was hesitant to get a coordinator for such a small event, but I didn’t want to forget anything and I’m glad we went with SSE. Shawna was a blessing, she had great suggestions, was fully prepared for situations we didn’t expect, communicative, punctual, as well as discreet, she was handling fires without taking away from the event. Small wedding, big wedding I’m sure she can handle any of them with as much kindness and attention she handled mine.

Shawna was amazing! She made my visions come to life and just made the evening go smoothly! She even guarded our table so my husband and I could eat in peace lol! When my officiant didn’t show, she handled the issue very professionally and found a replacement. She made sure to not make me panic and I didn’t find out till I started walking down the aisle when I saw my cousin who was now my officiant and I was just so happy! It really filled my heart! If we were to do it all over again, I would chose Shawna again and again and again!

On top of being detail oriented, Shawna is kind and thoughtful. She will remember all the little details to make your special day unforgettable! It was such a great experience having her coordinate all of the details for us to create such a perfect wedding day. Was able to take away all of the stress from finding the perfect decor that fit our style, to the day of the wedding, making sure it went smoothly!

Shawna and Vanessa helped me plan my wedding. Not only plan my wedding but helped move it from one date to one sooner as my groom is in the military and we got orders sooner than we thought. They took care of decor, bar, coordination, rehearsal, vendors and more. They literally took all the stress away with their company. I definitely recommend them to everyone!

Shawna was awesome! We hired Savvy Southern Events to do our set up and break down at our wedding. We had a ton of decorations and she handled everything. I sent her a complicated list of how I wanted everything to look and she absolutely nailed it! There were a few items/boxes that my family could not fit in their cars at the end of the night and she took them home and later dropped them off at my house... talk about going the extra mile! Highly recommend :)

Shawna Jackson with Savvy Southern Events my coordinator and planner. Literally ladies, pay for this lady and her team. Worth EVERY PENNY. I did not have one STRESS bone in my body on the big day and found out literally after the wedding all the chaos that happened in between, from a groomsman pants ripping and this angel sowed them right up, to somewhat family drama who doesn’t have that at some point to decor to everything else to decorating my cake with floral. She had walkies and ear pieces for the other vendors and literally her and Jess were such a big help.

Shawna and her team were amazing! After having to reschedule my wedding 3x, she consistently came through and saved the day. She paid attention to every detail and didn’t miss a beat! I’d recommend Savvy Southern 10/10!

Shawna Jackson is everything and more! She has an amazing, radiant energy and is excited to embark on the journey to your wedding! She is well versed in the many different areas of wedding details, and timelines. Our wedding is coming up February 18, 2023 and she has been just awesome - period! I know she will be my rock that day, and I trust her completely.

My husband and I eloped in Punta Cana because we always wanted a destination wedding, but knew that when we came back we'd want to have a celebration for family and friends. Shawna and Savvy events helped us decorate our backyard wedding with a beautiful flower archway for the ceremony, tables and chairs with centerpieces, and a bouquet that Shawna handmade with left over flowers. They showed up early day of and set everything up for us. It was great to not have to worry about all the small details while getting ready. I highly recommend Shawna for any style/type of wedding. She was a blessing on my wedding day.

Savvy Southern Events has the absolute BEST wedding coordinators in the business! I got married at Spinelli's in Comfort this summer and Shawna and her assistant Treasure were absolutely FAB-U-LOUS! Everything was run so smoothly and efficiently! Shawna is so organized and direct, of course it was a crazy day and there were a million little decisions that needed to be made or decided, when my family/bridal party asked me questions I was able to just direct them to Shawna. She handled all of the details, which was SO HELPFUL for me, especially as a 'Type B' bride LOL! She even brought an emergency kit that I could have gotten ready from entirely! She was so prepared and anticipated my every need!! My family was especially impressed with her ability to delegate tasks and keep the pressure off of me! Every time we talk about my wedding someone mentions how amazing our coordinators were! I will 100% be using Savvy Southern Events for any future events, and I have even had family and bridal party members say they need her when they get married! Savvy Southern Events is a true 10/10, professional, knowledgeable, prompt, and FUN!

Shawna and her team are absolutely amazing! They are all very organized, and throughout. It’s important to find weddings vendors who fit you & your fiancés personalities, and Shawna is definitely outgoing & personable. She makes you feel like you’re the only thing that matters, because you are. Also the packages she offers are perfect for everyone’s budget. 10/10 I recommend for anyone wanting help with coordination, planning, setup/ decor rentals, & bartending.

Shawna with Savvy Southern Events was absolutely AMAZING! I booked her for a 60day wedding coordinator and she literally handled everything for me. She booked all my appointments with vendors and stayed in contact with them leading up to my wedding day so I didn't have to worry about anything, except getting married. The day of my wedding she set up all of my decor, some of which I rented from her, and she made sure to keep us on schedule since we only had our photographer till 8pm. She was truly a blessing and took so much stress off of me. I highly recommend her and her business!

Top notch service! The attention to detail and care is amazing.

Shawna and Melissa went above and beyond my expectations for my wedding day. We had to make last minute changes to seating arrangement in regards to the weather. I was married at the botanical gardens and was not able to walk down aisle under the pergola as planned. However, Melissa provided a hexagon arch way as a backup plan and everything turned out beautiful. They took care of every single detail. I had nothing to worry about. I was stress-free on my wedding day. I recommend shawna’s business to anyone planning any sort of event, whether it be a wedding, baby shower, or large get together. This vendor is the best hands down.
