Saxon Manor Weddings & Shabby Chic Wedding Barn

I got married at Saxon Manor Shabby Chic Barn on 04/15/2023. If you are looking for an all inclusive wedding venue, look no further! I had such a great experience working with Saxon and my coordinator was Danielle. The staff were available to help every step of the way and answer any questions I had with planning. I also had my rehearsal dinner at the Boho Bistro. On the day of, Danielle took care of everything! I didn't have to worry about a thing. My wedding was perfect and everything I ever dreamed of. I would recommend this venue to all of my friends and family.

Our wedding at Saxon Manor was everything we could dream of and more. Jennifer, our coordinator, was there every step of the way which made planning our out of state wedding surprisingly SIMPLE! Everything leading up to our special day made us feel like the only couple being married there. On our day, we got to see our vision come to life. The venue and entire grounds are honestly more beautiful in person than photos can even capture. You truly have to see the venue for yourself! We would recommend anyone to Saxon Manor who is looking to host their fairytail wedding!

I don't know that I can fully summarize how amazing the experience with Saxon Manor was for my wedding yesterday!! My fiance and I got engaged in February, and we're married yesterday July 23rd. I learned about the venues through one of the bridal shows, and I'm so so glad I found them!! We used the barn venue space, but the garden is also beautiful. The outside space for the ceremony underneath the greenery Arch, the paved pathway all the way from the barn to the ceremony space, the bench seating outside, and all of the shade made the ceremony exactly what I wanted! The barn is positively stunning, and something truly from a dream. My coordinator was Danielle and she was absolutely TBE BEST person for the job! From the tour (that she gave us) All the way through to the end of the wedding night She knew exactly what she was doing! There was never any doubt in my mind that the vision that I had and that her and I created together would come to life on the wedding night. We used all of the vendors that were provided through the all-inclusive package from Saxon Manor. Amy's creative cakes did our two-tier traditional flavor wedding cake and a total of 80 cupcakes with the flavors of Oreo, key lime, hummingbird, and more traditional (almond cake with a raspberry filling). Amazingly delicious!! My guests are still talking to me about it today. DJ Tony Sparks was who we used for our DJ and he absolutely nailed it! We could not have asked for a better DJ for the night. We aren't even a dancing crowd, I myself only know how to white girl dance lol, and he found ways to get my whole family and my husband's whole family on the dance floor! Shawna meadors was our photographer and she was amazing!! She made me feel so comfortable while taking pictures and even showed me a couple sneak peeks from her camera lens and the pictures are going to be phenomenal!! everyone there from the very start of our engagement to the end of our wedding last night was polite, professional, courteous, friendly, down to earth, and just the kind of people you want to be around during the biggest moment of your life! I could talk about how amazing they experience was until I'm blue in the face!! You definitely need this venue, trust me!

Let me start by saying the coordinator assigned to us, Linda and her assistant Amy were stellar and the wedding was beautiful, but we are disappointed with Saxon’s unprofessional business ethics and public professionalism. 😑 A hashtag was created for our guests to upload photos from our big day and many tagged Saxon Manor as a location in doing so and NONE OF THEM have been shared on Saxon’s Facebook home page. Plus, THEIR PHOTOGRAPHER posted and tagged photos along with several posts tagging Saxon, including a beautifully done video teaser and TONS of photos. NONE OF IT is there. We see photos from several straight weddings posted, even on the same day as ours, but Saxon has apparently chosen NOT to use our incredible gay wedding as an example for their business. When we inquired why this has occurred, the manager/owner told our coordinator to tell us “I’m not feeling well and we don’t post everything on every wedding.” 🙄 We find this communication or “explanation” unacceptable, offensive and discriminatory as we see only straight weddings on their page. So either you agree to host gay weddings and then give approval to share everything or you make a stand for bigotry if that’s your deal and live with those consequences. But don’t try to walk some little shady line in between. At first sight, we knew Saxon was the perfect place for us to get married. It is a well thought out venue, offering a variety of options, not only from a style perspective, but when it comes to designing details. It is a unique venue, offering a helpful one-stop-shop package. While we did bring in many additional components to elevate our wedding, what Saxon offered gave us an incredible baseline to start. We enjoyed the process of designing the cake, tasting the food and watching it come together so quickly. We had a small window of time to put a pretty complex wedding together. It wasn’t without the true professionalism and expertise of Linda, that we could have pulled it off. From the minute we met her, we clicked! She’s all about making your vision a reality and worked both tirelessly and effortlessly to make sure what we wanted came to fruition. All with 6 photographers and 3 videographers working in the background. Linda connected, listened, researched and executed this wedding with a million moving parts in a way that is unexplainable. Our wedding involved a live butterfly release, live music and singing, several timed tracks to fog and spark effects, the coordination of a 7-foot drag queen’s four costume changes and live performances and so much more! She and her assistant Amy did it with such ease and professionalism, never breaking a sweat and always in control. She is a hugely valuable asset to the Saxon Manor staff and should be applauded for what she did to make our day both fun and flawless. I don’t think you can request a coordinator, say prayers that you get Linda as your person. She’s a dream! Regardless of this business not acting professionally or ethically by gratefully posting our wedding on their Facebook page as they have others, we know our guests had a blast and we celebrated our love in a way we never thought possible. Saxon Manor was a dream come true! We couldn’t have picked a better venue. From the 1st time we arrived to the day we said “I do” it was nothing but exceptional. We got a tour and decided immediately this is it! After the deposit was put down we were able to pick & secure all our vendors and set up the taste testing for food & cake along with decorations and florals. Our coordinator, Danielle aka Mary Poppins was absolutely the most amazing person to have by our side. I can’t tell you enough how much of a fairy tail this venue is. Do NOT pass this place up, if you are looking for something small or big they can accommodate you!!

Beautiful venue! Everything was fantastic from getting ready to the end of the night being a maid of honor and getting ready for my wedding really showed me how things should be!! Jenn was the coordinator and was AWESOME!!

A few hiccups at the beginning not being assigned a coordinator from the start kinda sucks you meet so many but you might not end up with them and requesting them doesn’t matter either. Once we were assigned our coordinator and was able to meet and talk with her my mind was at ease. We were assigned to Linda, Linda was perfect. Linda did an amazing Job she is amazing at her job. I am so happy she got stuck with us! She handled all the stress that come with planning a wedding so I didn’t have to. She communicated with the vendors for me from DJ to limo. I do not think it would have turned out the way I envisioned with any other person! Linda is the reason I am so happy how everything turned out. I highly recommend Linda!! She is the best, all the weddings I seen on social media that she was part of hands down has been the best ones!

Danielle and Amy were my day of coordinators and they were fantastic. The whole saxon experience was truly stress-free and professional. The venue is absolutely stunning. And I loved that everything was covered under one roof. I chose the garden room because that is what fit my wedding vision the best. But the barn is also gorgeous. Also the bridal suite that my girls and I got ready in was on site and absolutely perfect 😍

I got married here in October 2021 and Saxon Manor exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding! Every time I would call with questions someone was always available to answer them and help me secure my vendors. Each vendor we chose came with the barn package and they were all exceptional. Amy’s Creative Cakes, Shawna Meadors Photography, DJ Tony Sparks, Sherwood Florist, and Catering by Greg all made our wedding more than perfect. I am still getting compliments on every aspect of my wedding. Linda, my coordinator, was on top of everything. From our final design till the time our wedding day was over, she was making sure my husband and I, along with our families and bridal party, had everything we needed. There was not one single thing I would have changed. Every detail was exactly how I had imagined it, if not better! We could not have been happier with our experience at Saxon Manor!

Throughout the entire planning process, our wedding coordinator, Linda, & management were awesome!! She captured our vision perfectly & made everything run incredibly smooth. I highly recommend utilizing Linda as your coordinator! The ground at the venue were also well maintained & beautiful. The only suggestion as far as the venue goes is to incorporate some outdoor fans under the covered dance floor outside. It was a very hot day/night for us, but we enjoyed every minute of it! I was one of the unlucky brides who had to reschedule her wedding due to COVID and this venue was very accommodating. Linda, our wedding coordinator went above & beyond and was very detail oriented. She stayed true to what we wanted & gave us everything we could have ever dreamed of. Thank you so much to the wonderful staff at Saxon Manor. 4/5 stars due to a couple of issues communicating with certain staff members when booking venue/asking questions.

I couldn’t have asked for a better day! Thankful for Linda our wedding coordinator, Amy who did a fantastic job on our wedding cake ,Dj Tony sparks who kept the part live. The food was wonderful. I’m still receiving Complements how wonderful the venue was.

I cannot recommend Saxon Manor enough. It is a gem of venue: the barn is stunning, it has a gorgeous ceremony/cocktail hour area, we had amazing vendors (Amy’s Creative Cakes, DJ Sparks, Shawna Meadors, Sherwood Florist), and the location has such a wonderful staff. Linda was our coordinator and every detail of the wedding was perfectly executed! We have heard from many guests that the food was top notch, the cake delicious, and that this was the best wedding that they had been to. Many thanks to everyone at Saxon Manor (Linda, Sylvia, Crystal, Jennifer, and the rest of the team) for such an easy wedding experience from the tours to the design meeting to the actual day! I am so very happy that we picked Saxon Manor!

This venue was hands down the most amazingly romantic location to have my forever day with my love. Our coordinator Jennifer was not only organized and patient, she was professional and didn't skip a beat from the moment I meant her. She took my worries and did everything in her power to make all our dreams become a reality. Anytime there was an hurdle (delays and last minute unplanned changes caused by weather) she readjusted our time line to accommodate and capture ever peice of our day to make it perfect. Jennifer fixed any flaws almost instantly. The vendors worked extremely well together and communicated when needed. It definitely helped utilizing all of the in house vendors. I would recommend Saxon Manor to any future bride!

I got married March 19th 2021. I have nothing bad to say. The barn looked beautiful, Krystal and all of the ladies did a wonderful job of decorating everything. The food was great and I have gotten many compliments from my guests about the food. There were no problems at all with my day, and if there was, they took care of it and I never knew. We had the best day. Our coordinator Krystal took great care of us. I recommend Saxon Manor to anyone!

Had the perfect wedding here over the weekend. It was perfectly coordinated by Jennifer as well which went a long way to calming us on a normally stressful day. Highly recommend this venue for those looking for a rustic but beautiful venue.

Our wedding at Saxon Manor's Barn was absolutely magical!!! It was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! Linda, our wedding coordinator, made sure we were both taken care of throughout the day! She also made sure we had nothing to worry about day of. Saxon manor had everything well planned and things went so smoothly! The food and decorations were fantastic!! We highly recommend Saxon Manor to anyone who wants an amazing, stress-free and magical wedding!!!!!

I can’t recommend Saxon Manor enough! I live in San Diego, so I knew I needed an all inclusive venue. They planned everything down to the smallest details perfectly! We had viewed a few other venues, but I had that *magical* moment when I saw the oak tree ceremony site. I was pleasantly surprised with the updated they did to the barn in time for my wedding! They were extremely accommodating, as I wanted my guests to feel safe during COVID and they seamlessly moved everything outside for me - and it was absolutely gorgeous! My guests are still talking the food and mainly the mac and cheese! Linda was my coordinator and she was the best I could have asked for! She made sure ryan and I were happy and taken care of for every second. We can honestly say that not a single thing went wrong on the day of our wedding - most of that is thanks to Saxon!

Jennifer and her team at Saxon Manor was absolutely amazing! She made sure everything went so smoothly. If anything went wrong, I never noticed because she and her team handled everything! It was a great evening. I could not recommend a better place to get married!!! From the beginning Jennifer kept detailed notes of everything I was envisioning and helped make it all come to life. Booking an all inclusive venue was the best route to go! The food was so delicious, the cake was just like I envisioned and sooooo good, and the staff was so on top of everything! Do yourself a favor and book a tour at Saxon Manor ASAP if your planning your wedding!

I could not have asked for a better wedding! Rhonda my coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and on time! She made sure everything that I had designed and specifically made for the wedding was placed and in its proper place. Any questions or concerns I had she made sure they were answered and she reassured me that everything was going to work out and it will be beautiful. Which it was! All of my quests kept raving about how beautiful everything was and that they have never been to a more beautiful wedding! So thank you Saxon Manor and thank you so much Rhonda!!! I definitely recommend Saxon Manor to anyone who wants their fairytale dream wedding! And ask for Rhonda! She will make your dreams come true!

Thank you to Saxon Manor for a beautiful event. Rhonda was our coordinator amd she went beyond our expectations to make things as easy for us as possible. She took my inspiration and brought it to life with the look of the barn. We hired our own limo and when they didn’t show, she took it upon herself to handle the call so I didn’t have to deal with it. The vendors are wonderful amd the location is so picturesque.

I had the best day ever! The wedding coordinators were phenomenal and made everything super easy. Our wedding coordinators, Jennifer and Crystal, were amazing and worked so hard to make our vision come to life! All the other staff were nothing but kind! Highly recommend!!

Saxon manor was an absolute dream come true! If you want an all inclusive venue that ensures everything is taken care of this is the place for you! Each vendor in their package is great and works to please the bride and groom. Our coordinators Jennifer and Crystal were an absolute joy to work with and made our vision for our wedding come to life. This venue was more than accommodating given the current pandemic. We even had our rehearsal dinner there! Overall 10/10 recommend!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect, not only the venue, but all their vendors were phenominal! Our coordinator Jennifer was excepfional and made everything go so seamless I didnt have to worry about anything on our special day. They all made our wedding visions/dreams become a reality! From the ceremony site to the reception, everything was elegant and classy in the butterfly garden and the garden room. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful and fun our wedding was, and it wouldnt have been possible without this venue, all our vendors, and our amazing coordinator!!!

Went to my friends wedding last night. The food was delicious and the venue was stunning. The hospitality was perfect. Would highly recommend this venue to anyone who’s getting married.

I had my wedding at this venue and there are not enough works to describe how amazing this venue is!!! The decor available with the packages is awesome you save so much money, the barn was perfect for my wedding! All the recommendations for vendors were amazing! Even my planner assigned for my wedding (Linda) was so professional and helpful she made the day so smooth and memorable! Highly recommend having your wedding here!! I was so stress free having everything from one place! The best wedding venue ever!!

Saxon Manor is the absolute best for a dream barn wedding, I can’t recommend it more! Choosing to do our wedding there was the best choice I made in wedding planning!! Linda, our coordinator went above and beyond in planning, helping everyone run smoothly and look better than I was even envisioning. She was great to work with and so accommodating of all of my special requests like bringing my horse to the wedding. The entire staff at Saxon took all of the stress out of the big day and it couldn’t have gone better. The food was the best wedding food we have ever had (catering by Greg), the wedding cake was amazing (cakes by Amy), and DJ Tony Sparks kept the party going! The venue was gorgeous- our guests described it as fairy tale, stunning, and beautiful. I’m still floating on cloud 9 from my dream fairy tale wedding, it truly was the best day of my life and I enjoyed every moment along they way, and especially that day thanks to Linda and Saxon Manor!!

I just had my wedding at Saxon Manor and it was a dream! I was planning my wedding long distance and my coordinator Linda made the entire process so easy! She was flexible, answered all of my questions and was incredibly organized. The day of the wedding was perfect, I was able to enjoy my family and friends without any stress! I highly recommend this venue to brides who are wanting a stress-free and fun experience!

We loved that this was a one stop shop! It made wedding planning so stress-free. We are still hearing that we had the most beautiful wedding our guests had ever seen.

I can’t say enough about our coordinator, Linda. We definitely hit the jackpot with her as our coordinator. She was fabulous! She went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was nothing short of absolute perfection. The vendors they use are top notch, from the photographer to the DJ everyone worked together flawlessly. Their all inclusive package took so much stress away from my husband and I. Our only complaints are that the groom’s suite in the barn is severely lacking. We were lucky that there wasn’t another wedding the night of ours and my husband could utilize the groom’s suite for the garden room. I would also suggest that the coordinator be assigned from the beginning. We would have loved to have been in contact with Linda from day 1.

My wedding was Nov 10, 2018 in the Garden Room! It was absolutely beautiful! My coordinators were Linda and Jana-Lee, they were complete sweethearts and had we had constant communication! They were on top of everything! I would definately recommend!!!

I recently had my wedding at the Shabby Chic barn and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a barn venue/ rustic style wedding. The staff were nothing short of amazing and extremely accommodating. My wife couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Rhonda and Dorthea putting together all of the decorations. Everything turned out exactly how she wanted it and to say it was her dream wedding is a vast understatement. Every detail was exactly as she had planned. The grounds looked pristine and made our photos come out amazing. They made everything so easy for us, all we had to do was show up and enjoy every last second of our special day. They know exactly what they are doing and were a well oiled machine, everything went perfectly. It truly has a wow factor and looked as though we spent 5 times more on our wedding than we actually did. I can't express in words how happy we are that we had our wedding here it was a dream come true.

I got engaged in September 2016 and found Saxon Manor shortly after. Ginger gave us our tour and was extremity charismatic and knowledgeable. I got married at Saxon Manor in May 2018 and everything went smoothly. Saxon Manor was very accommodating with what I needed and I was able to meet with Dorothea and other vendors on my schedule, which was important to me because I do not live in Brooksville and my Husband was not in the state. They were able to accommodate all of my needs. Any time I called they answered my call or email in a timely fashion. Ginger ended up being my wedding coordinator and did a great job making sure everything ran smoothly and that I got everything that I wanted. They even ordered more table cloths and flowers for the décor. Fast forward to wedding day and everything went very well, all of the guests had a good time to my knowledge. It started pouring about an hour before my ceremony and what could have been a chaotic event was handed smoothly and I was still able to get married outside at their ceremony site. The only thing that could be improved is having more doors or privacy in the bridal suite as it is very open and made it difficult for me to put on my dress undisturbed. Other than that, I could not be happier with my Saxon Manor wedding.

Overall we were very happy with the way our wedding turned out. The shabby chic barn is gorgeous! Ginger was our coordinator and she was absolutely amazing, took great care of us, and made sure we had everything perfect on our big day! We were nervous with our guest listing ending with 45 people in barn made for twice the amount, but the staff made it look full. The all inclusive vendor selection was also nice, we were pretty pleased with each one we chose. The owner Dorothea shyed us away from some of our original vendor picks even though they are on her list, however she did work with us when we had a few complaints. We received compliments for several days after our wedding on how beautiful everything looked, how surprised people were when they saw our “barn” wedding, and how much fun they had. I would recommend saxon manor to anyone getting married looking for an outdoor venue.

My husband and I got married there April 22 and it was my dream wedding. The venue was stunning, Chad the DJ was outstanding, and Keelyn our day of wedding coordinator made my wedding perfect. It was everything I could have dreamed of. I am very happy with how everything turned out. Make sure you ask for Keelyn as your day of wedding coordinator because she will make sure everything goes exactly how you want!

My wedding was 3-31-18. I highly recommend venue. Everything was beautiful. My wedding coordinator Theresa was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They really did their best to make my night magical! In the beginning there were a few kinks as far as getting this coordinated I think this was partly due to booking so far in advance but it all worked out.

This garden room is absolutely wonderful and so so beautiful! The staff there is very attentive and is all about making sure you have everything you want on your wedding day. The all-inclusive package is an absolute must! And it will help keep the stress and wedding planning way down. My husband and I got married there last Saturday 11/18/17, and it was absolutely the most perfect night! If you want an amazing venue, every vendor already included, and no stresses then this is the venue for you!!

My parents celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with the fine folks of Saxon Manor on May 7th, 2016. They renewed their vows outside by the ferns and then celebrated with an awesome reception inside the Garden Room. Everything was beautiful and above expectations. Not only was my family amazed by it all, all of the guests raved about the venue, the staff, the food and the ambiance. Every detail was taken care of and the staff saw to all of our needs, from getting us appetizers/drinks while we took photos, to placing purses by the seats and even fetching and storing shoes from the bridal suite. We were waited on hand and foot! (literally) All of this magic started before the big day. During the planning process both Dorothea and Angela were available to answer questions, address concerns and make fabulous recommendations. They took all of the guess work out of planning such an event and allowed us to enjoy it instead of stress over it. If you are looking for a stress-free event, then look no further. This is your place. It's worth the drive!

We just had our wedding in the Garden Room on 3/26/16, and I could not have imagined a more beautiful day. The staff was absolutely amazing! They were so attentive to our every need- they never missed a beat! A special thank you to Angela our wedding coordinator.. Our day went so smoothly because of you. Thank you to Dorthea & the rest of the Saxon Manor Staff for making our wedding day so memorable and unforgettable for all of our friends & family. We HIGHLY recommend Saxon Manor as a gorgeous, well put together wedding package & venue that makes wedding planning easy & enjoyable.

My (now) husband and I had been together for ten years with two children together by the time we were finally able to afford to have the wedding we had been saving for and deserved. I had my eye on Saxon Manor as our venue for a few years before I actually started planning our wedding. The venue seemed perfect for our rustic vibe and we put down our deposit of $1500 to secure our date. $500 was for securing it with the venue, and $1000 was for securing the vendors. Fast forward a year later, about a month and a half before the date of our wedding. I reached out to Dorothea, the wedding coordinator and owner, by Facebook and then phone explaining that my (then) fiance had just lost his job, I was facing health issues, and we weren't sure what to do because we could no longer afford to have our wedding there. I was able to see that Dorothea read my message the same day I sent it, but a week went by and I did not hear back from her at all. Another week went by and we had to book a different venue since our wedding was a month away and I had not heard back. Saxon Manor posted that our date was now available on their Facebook but I still did not receive a reply. She finally called and offered some ways to cut the budget, but by that time we had already booked with a new venue. Although I know we signed a contract, Saxon Manor did not refund a single penny from our deposit, despite knowing our situation. We contacted the vendors we booked through Saxon Manor also explaining the situation to see if they could apply some of the vendor deposits we paid towards the balance so that we could still use them and not lose out on our deposit (we paid $1000 split between 4-5 vendors as a deposit)... Each one said no except Cupcake Heaven. No one was willing to work with us. I was and am extremely disappointed in how I was treated. The staff and vendors have NO contact with the brides until like a month before the wedding. That's not how planning should be. The vendors/coordinator should be involved and helping you plan each step of the way. There are other venues in Brooksville and nearby areas where I feel that you get more for your money...

I attended a wedding at Saxon manor earlier this year and it was absolutely beautiful. When I got engaged in February Saxon manor was in my mind but wasn't exactly the style I was looking for. Then I learned that Saxon manor would be building a barn. I immediately made an appointment to talk with the staff. The barn is exactly what I was looking for. I booked without the barn being build yet but after seeing how beautiful the manor is restored I know I have nothing to worry about. The staff was polite and answered all of my questions and even walked me down to where the barn would be. I loved that they had different packages to choose from, I went with the all inclusive one. Very good pricing and way less stress than doing everything yourself. I can't wait to get married at Saxon manor.
