SB Photography and Design

I would not recommend them. We went with this photographer after a friend recommended them before they had their wedding. After their wedding they had told us they never received their photos. We had already paid SB in full prior to finding out this info from our friend. Then the news aired about this business scamming couples/families out of their photos and not giving refunds. Trying to get a hold of them was a hassle and voiced to us that it was an inconvenience to them that we had tried reaching out to them to confirm if they would still be shooting our wedding after publicly announcing they are $1M in debt. We had an almost 2 hr long phone call with the owner who talked the whole time about their poor business handling, complaint of customers, blaming Covid, and very personal issues… after we simply asked,”What is the estimated time frame we will expect our photos after our wedding?” That simple question was opening a Pandora’s box of information we didn’t ask or needed to know about the owner’s personal life, mental health, and overall wellbeing. The lack of professionalism and neurotic behavior was a major concern and red flag. We had informed them 2 times that we no longer will need their services on for our wedding as they had lied to us stating we would still have our original photographer for engagement photos. When mentioning we spoke to that photographer directly informing us that he no longer works with SB and will not be photographing our wedding it was only then the owner admitted her husband will be photographing our wedding. Who is not a professional photographer. We were told by the owner that after our wedding we should text her to get our photos and that would put us to the top of her list. She could not give us a straight answer as to when we would expect our photos just that we should text her for them. Essentially, nag and beg for the wedding photos we paid upfront for. We asked for a refund of any kind as it’s their responsibility to provide a professional photographer and could not do that as they had lost their full staff due to not paying them for their work and I’m assuming anyone left on the staff walked out because of bad publicity. We never received a response back regarding a refund. This business is not a business. It is a scam. Never pay in full for any services. We ended up going with a different photographer for our wedding truly too close to the date. And she was wonderful.

Would not recommend this company to anyone wanting their timeless special event photos without a year-long+ headache. This business continued to drop the ball over and over with communication and timeliness. We purchased a photography package for our wedding and paid in full immediately. We were scheduled a meeting with one of the coordinators right away, and then this had to be rescheduled -- no big deal. We then waited months to receive the next information (which was required to select the actual photographers for our event). We attempted to contact the business explicitly two months prior... one month prior... and then every week leading up via email and phone: silence. Finally, 6 days prior to the date, we received a call back (while the business coordinators were in the middle of someone else's event) and finally they sent us the information for planning. We were very concerned that no photographers would be selected or show up. Surprisingly, the photographers (different folks from the ones running the business) did arrive, on time, to the event and were AMAZING: very nice, super knowledgeable, easy to work with. We would highly recommend those two gentlemen who captured our event if they could be contacted directly. The photographers posted our sneak-peak photos within a day: awesome. Then we waited, and waited, and waited some more. We received radio silence except for six months and then an (now infamous) email novel of a sob story about the business being behind schedule. It's now 8 months after our event and we received a maximum of five messages from the company spewing excuses of why things were further delayed. (We sent one email or text initially every month, and then once a week, to ask strictly about status.) After 9+ months after our event, photos are finally posted online. 10 months after the event (and many attempts to connect again to finish the job), a photo flash drive is finally put in the mail. To summarize, working with this business for special event photography will net you: minus a reasonable sum of money for the product, (hopefully) a decent pair of photographers to capture your event, a year long headache, and some photos (the quality of which is hard to objectively judge because of the overall lack-luster experience. Probably just go somewhere else.

The 1-star reviews are true and there are many more out there! I unfortunately would strongly recommend to steer clear of SB photography for your wedding photos, even though our day-of photographers Will and Leah were amazing. The owners do not communicate with you leading up to your date or your engagement session, and the only way we were able to contact them ever was texting the owner on her personal phone, which she shared in a Facebook group (not with us directly). For our engagement session Adam didn't reach out to us until the day or so before to talk about locations and our vision for the photos. For the wedding day, we filled out our form, and Adam called the week before to discuss, but on the phone it was clear he was not present and some of the things we asked for were not communicated to our day-of photographers. We asked Adam to send one of the photographers to go to where the groom was getting ready, and both ended up showing up at the venue instead for the bride. Those two communications were the ONLY communications we had with SB before our wedding, even though we tried to reach out numerous times to confirm details. We were honestly looking at backup photographers the month before because we could not contact SB. Our wedding was early August 2023 and we didn't get our photos until January 2024, which only happened because I was texting Sheryl weekly about them. No USB to be seen yet, and we don't expect it to come even though it's in the contract. Overall, steer clear and don't book with SB. Weddings are stressful enough, and you don't need to add more stress because SB can't figure out how to properly communicate with their clients or get photographs finished in less than 6 months. I am SHOCKED (but not surprised given our experience) that there are people from fall 2023 that still haven't received their wedding photos in June 2024. Although of note -- they do not put a return date in the contract, which I believe other photographers do. The ridiculously long emails from the owners, the two hour videos they post explaining their life story, all garbage and a waste of time. To the owners -- we really don't care that you are selling a house, or that the pandemic happened a few years ago at this point, please use the time you spend making 2+ hour videos on developing photos instead. If you are going into a new wedding season without closing the last one and with all the brides upset that they don't have photos from one of the most memorable days of our lives, there is a major problem with how you do business. That being said, Leah and Will are incredible photographers, and they were amazing on our wedding day! Would highly recommend booking them, just not through SB.

Wedding photos themselves great. Got married 9/10/22 and decided to put a review after I got all of the photos from the wedding..... It's 2024 and I still don't have the mother of the wedding books we confirmed after extreme effort on my part to get them going. Didn't receive our wedding book until the week before our first anniversary.

Quality: The quality of work and photos was there. Our pictures look good and we had 2 photographers at our wedding and a different one for our engagement session. I wish we would have had more detail shots (no close ups of our hands/rings, my dress/his tie/suit, none of me getting ready/hair/makeup, none of us posing at our venue, etc.) but the overall quality of the photos were good and we had lots of pictures from the day (eventually given to us on a USB port, as stated in the contract, after many emails asking for it). Communication (and other issues): Communication up to signing a contract and paying in full was great. They had so many great reviews on The Knot and every where else, that I didn’t think twice to book them. Communication after was a continual nightmare. Getting someone to reply to an email/phone call was a stressful task, like 3-4 emails and sometimes weeks before a reply. And I would give ample time to reply in between emails. Having to repeat email numerous times for any response was exhausting/stressful. The owner will reply and go on these rants/tangents about how their business is the only one who survived the pandemic and how much they do for their customers, how customers should be happy with all they do, etc. It was shocking to read most of content in those incredibly long emails/text and they were very unprofessional and irrelevant most of the time. We had a few free credits thrown our way toward purchasing photos on their website, which they have ignored when we tried to use those for prints. I placed the order about 3 weeks ago and no replies to emails or even processing the order. We likely won’t be getting that as promised either, sadly I’m not surprised. Honestly, I would much rather have received nothing “for free” and just had good communication and a better, less stressful experience. Our wedding was early Oct and we finally received pictures at the end of Dec, after being told they would be ready weeks before and no replies to any emails asking about them after never receiving them as promised. There was no date or time frame on our signed contract (I realize this is a red flag now, but did not know then), and getting them to commit to an estimate timeline of when we could expect pictures (no pressure, just wondering since there was no timeline in the contract) was like pulling teeth. Paragraphs from the owner saying how we need to be patient and wait and be thankful they still provide good service after the pandemic. It was shocking to read, unprofessional, and ridiculous. We were also told 2 specific photographer would be working with us, and the day of our wedding 2 different photographers showed up. It would have been nice to have this communicated to us. I’m not sure what happened or why our experience was drastically different from the stellar reviews, but it was so stressful and awful working with them, outside of the actual time they were actively taking our pictures. Because of communication alone, I would definitely not recommend this vendor.

Chalk up another one for terrible communication and just overall poor customer service. The photographers were great and the pictures themselves were good, but we spent many months after our wedding waiting for even our sneak peak, all while our emails and calls were ignored when all we wanted was at least some confirmation that they hadn't ghosted us..

I really didn’t want to write this review because our photographers Will and McKenna were INCREDIBLE! We got married 9/9/23 and still have not received our full gallery. The owner sends ridiculously long emails “explaining” the wait period (without actually explaining anything and just complaining about the couples that have reached out about their photos) saying to just suck it up and wait. I have reached out a received no response from anyone. I am extremely upset that I have to continue to tell our friends and family that we have STILL NOT RECEIVED OUR PHOTOS. Do not recommend this company at all.

HORRIBLE! Yet another September 2023 bride with no photos and no communication on what's going on. When I call SB, it automatically goes to voicemail. They even deleted their Google page because of the reviews. Absolutely disheartening that the company can't even let us know what's going on. We have called, email, texted and done everything we can to get ahold of SB. Disgusting behavior from a company!!! We just want the photos we paid for!

DO NOT USE!!! I got married on 10/21/23. I still have not received my full wedding photos, despite our contact stating they would be received within 16 weeks. My husband and I have been calling, emailing, dming, the full nine for weeks and nobody has responded. No option to give 0 stars but that’s what they deserve.

Got married 09/22/23. Will and Matt were AMAZING photographers. They helped the groomsmen with their boutonnières and their pocket squares something I never would have expected them to do. They hit all the photos that we requested and then some. We would work with them again if they weren’t working with sb photography anymore. I reached out to sb for an update on when we would receive photos. I reached out via email TWICE, my husband reached out via email once, we reached out to Matt on Instagram, reached out to sb via their contact form on their website. Absolutely no response. The only person that I got any sort of response from was Will but since he had no control over the editing process he didn’t have an answer of when we would receive the photos. If this company would respond at all I think people would be a little more understanding. But the fact that they ignore every method of communication. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. I think the photographers should all freelance and drop ties with SB because it’s only going to give them a bad name. I was originally hopefully I would get them by Christmas so I could give my parents a late gift. Then I was hopeful we would get them by Valentine’s Day and we could look at them as a special moment together. Now I’d be surprised if we get them by our 1 year anniversary. (We were given an estimated time frame of 12-16 weeks) They should find a way to make it right with their clients. And if they can’t they should stop booking new clients because they are clearly taking on more than they can handle. I never would have thought the most stressful part of my wedding planning would be wondering if I’ll ever get the photos back. *reposting here because someone deleted their Google page it appears*

Just another bride absolutely heartbroken that almost 5 months after my wedding I still do not have my wedding photos back. Zero response to texts, emails, or calls. I am lucky enough to have gotten sneak peek photos the day after my wedding that were absolutely beautiful. The photographers that I worked with were wonderful. We had a large wedding party that they handled well. My only complaint about SB is the complete lack of communication and customer service after the wedding. Do better. Stop blaming a pandemic that happened 3 years ago.

Just like the previous reviews, they are going to reply with the dollar amount we spent (which I think is really disrespectful and tacky).. we spent $2,975.00 and I regret every penny since we still don't have our photos. My husband and I got married on September 16th, 2023. It is February of 2024, almost 5 whole months after our wedding day, and we still don't have our wedding photos. I booked SB because my sister in law used them for her wedding and had a great experience and loved her photos. Since our wedding day in September we have received absolutely no communication from our 2 photographers, Sheryl and Brad. We were told we would receive a sneak peek of our wedding day photos about 2 weeks after our wedding day. We waited and waited and got nothing. We emailed and called and heard nothing back. I truly thought we had been ghosted and we would never have professional photos of our special day. Finally, my sister in law Facebook messaged a photographer that works for SB named Will (who wasn't even one of our photographers). He responded and sent us a sneak peak at the end of October. The photos were beautiful. We were told to wait 16 weeks from our wedding date for the full wedding gallery. That would have been the beginning of January. No photos. Again, I emailed and called and was left with no response. My husband and I got to the point of desperation where we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Of course that didn't do anything either. I am posting this because I saw other brides have a very similar experience to mine, and SB replied to their review with a link to their photos! Was hoping I would get a response with a link to ours? I also saw the company defend themselves and claim that COVID is the cause for their lack of responsiveness. I am not sure how a pandemic that occurred 3 years ago is an excuse for not answering emails and phone calls? My sister in law got married in June of 2021, which was basically when they pandemic was still happening, and she had a much better experience. The bottom line is that this company doesn't care about their couples the way they advertise. They have failed to provide an exceptional service to me and my husband and have robbed us of the opportunity to look back at our wedding day. They repeatedly failed to respond to emails and phone calls, demonstrating complete lack of professionalism and disregard for their clients' needs. I highly suggests couples avoid this company, given their horrific track record of ignoring emails and phone calls, and leaving clients in the dark about when they will receive their pictures. It upsets me to write this review because the actual photos we did receive are stunning.

Long review but long story short, I don’t recommend. I know they will reply to this with the dollar amount we paid ($2425) and leave a long message about how they were good before covid (4 years ago). They should just actually say sorry for how bad their communication is, as it looks even worse pointing out how much people are paying for a bad experience. If you expect good communication with your photographer, do not book with SB. If you expect to get your pictures back in a reasonable timeframe, do not book with SB. They took away the excitement of waiting to get back pictures from the most important day in our lives and replaced it with frustration. They say once you’re their customer, you are their customer for life because they offer free sessions “and run their business like a charity”, however we would not book with them again, free or not. The day of our wedding everything was great. Our photographers Danny and Mark were wonderful (they were contracted and do not work for SB – they were the one great thing to come out of booking with SB. They have their own company, R and R Photographic Imaging, and we highly recommend booking them directly!). They were friendly, easy to be around for the full day and helped us feel at ease. In our contract, it states we get a sneak peek however after looking further there were no timeframes outlined for the sneak peek or final photos. Our wedding was 9/23. After multiple emails and text messages, we finally received a reply and got our sneak peeks on 10/9. In that email, they stated to allow 12-16 weeks for all of our pictures. After that, we received the most unprofessional email that was about 10 pages long basically blaming their customers for not being able to do personal things in their lives and selling an Airbnb to keep their business afloat. Every other sentence was about how great they were pre-covid and how much better they are than every other business. They also stated if their customers wouldn’t reach out so much, they’d have more time to work. Which is funny, because even when their customers do reach out, they don’t answer, so I’m unsure how that impacts them. We booked with them 2 years after covid, so if they knew they couldn’t handle the workload, they should have advised us before taking our full payment. I have seen many other wedding albums and photos that look amazing and I know those couples received their sneak peeks 1-2 days after their wedding and albums did not take over 4 months. At 14 weeks I sent an email just inquiring where our photos were at in their lineup and if we could still expect them in the 16 week timeframe they provided, as there had been no communication since their insane email in October. There was no answer to that email and 2 more emails were sent over the next 2 weeks. Finally received a response that we’d have our photos by the weekend. Didn’t happen. I reached out asking if they had a new date, as they didn’t proactively outreach to say we wouldn’t be getting them like they advised. We were then told by the next weekend we’d have them and given another “explanation of the complexities of covid”. Weekend came and went without photos or update from them to a new date, leaving me to reach out again. Without a response, we received our photos the next day. We did love the pictures from our sneak peeks, and while our final photos were good/fine, you could see the difference in effort from the sneak peeks and final. Save yourself the headache

We booked SB 9 months before our wedding, paying in full. In the early stages of booking the owners seemed boastful and wordy about all the ways they “go above and beyond” for clients, which at the time seemed nice, but odd in hindsight. Over the next several months the few times we asked questions about photo stop suggestions between ceremony and reception locations, and recommended ceremony start time given our contract, return communication from SB was spotty at best. My husband and I would send the same email/message three times and sometimes wouldn’t hear back. We’d often wait a few weeks for a response before trying again. When we were under 1 month from our wedding date, they sent us the photography questionnaire–which we expected– and then were told for the first time to schedule a final consult on top of it. When we tried to secure this meeting time, it took them literally 1 week to respond to the various date / time options we kept sending. So at just 11-14 days out from the wedding, we were actively searching for backup photographers in case SB backed out. They did come thru with the meeting 10 days before our wedding. The photographers they sent for the wedding arrived prior to the scheduled contract time and were very polite, calming and professional. They were a great fit for our family and party, which was a pleasant surprise. 6 weeks after the wedding we inquired about sneak peeks, promised in contract but not yet received. We were guilt tripped and essentially had to beg to receive them after 8 weeks. One owner was telling us very personal irrelevant details, and how difficult Covid has been (during fall 2023). They kept bragging about going the extra mile for clients, doing things no other photographers do, and how they “shouldn’t be so nice.” We were told we’d receive our full photo order within 1 week of the sneak peeks, but we didn’t. We left SB alone for about a month then started attempting contact again. 4 months after the wedding, every couple days, my husband and I tried texting, calling, leaving voicemails, emailing and Facebook messaging, to no avail. We considered stopping at their business in person to ask, but upon online searches found 3 different addresses for SB, unable to distinguish which one was current. Three weeks after trying to reconnect we finally got a response back from the other owner via Facebook messenger. They took no responsibility for failing to deliver our full photos by the time they promised, or how long all our other attempts at communication went unanswered. We got our full photo package exactly 5 months after our wedding date. All things considered I am happy with the amount and quality of our photos, and the photographers who were sent on that day. They captured a lot of important moments and groupings of family, friends and wedding party. It was a little disappointing that there were so few posed shots of our family units (only 2 of my immediate family of 22 people), and some posed photos were awkwardly spaced or poorly lit/edited. There were a ton of photos of guests but not as many of my husband and I as I might expect. That being said, we have a lot of very nice quality photos to choose from. However, I’m extremely dissatisfied with SB’s customer service, communication experience with the owners both before and after the wedding, and would not recommend SB to any engaged couples, much less continue to use their photography services again ourselves in the future.

I booked SB for our October wedding based on a Preferred Vendors list from our venue and the price was right. The photographers that showed up were pleasant but were only equipped with single shot lens cameras, which my husband (who is familiar with photography) was not very impressed with. This means they're not able to zoom and focus. They didn't seem to have a lot of ideas for posing and didn't communicate poses well. The photos we got back are mediocre at best, lots of them with not great/flattering angles, awkwardly uncentered, and lots of single and group pictures with feet and dresses cut off. I was also unimpressed and frankly annoyed with the communication from the owner, Sheryl after the wedding regarding a timeline on when we would expect to receive our photos. She would send these long emails and then tell you that you missed the specific date (which was never really noted) in the email. We never received an actual sneak peek, which is what our package included and we are still waiting on a USB drive of the pictures. The owners are obsessed with telling you how they are the only photographers that survived The Great Pandemic of 2020 and will literally send you novel like emails to tell you about it every chance they get and try to convince you to feel sorry for them. We are thankful for the handful of decent photos we got from the lot, but I would definitely not recommend these people.

This whole team is amazing! From discussing the details with Adam (the co-owner) at the beginning, Peter taking or engagement photos and Peter and Sarah covering our wedding, they were all so easy and nice to work with. They were constantly checking in to make sure we got what we wanted and we’re staying on schedule. They made us laugh which made the day even more fun. Our sneak peek photos are gorgeous and we can’t wait to see the full wedding photos!

We had witnessed SB photography at other weddings and knew we needed to have them be our photographers. They were the first vendor we booked and they were so accommodating to work with us for a date. They are so easy to work, and fun to work with as well! They make everyone feel comfortable with pictures and help ease any nerves the entire day. Will and David were amazing. We would recommend them to anyone, this is one of the best decisions you could make for a photographer.

Josh & Peter were amazing! We loved them & would 100% hire them 2 again. They did an amazing job with getting all the photos we wanted and helped with all the small details, like making sure everyone was perfect in each photo. They were perfect/ patient with our dogs, and that meant everything to us. We are not very photogenic either, but they made it fun for us. Definitely recommend!

So very impressed and happy with SB! We had Will as our main photographer and he was AMAZING!! Cannot recommend enough! Be prepared to wait a bit for pictures.

We were very happy working with Sheryl and Adam for our wedding! They made us feel prepared by doing Zoom meetings with us before our engagement photos and wedding photos. They always asked what we wanted to do and gave us their insight being the professionals. They worked super well with our families to make sure everyone was in photos who needed to be. The pictures turned out great and we really enjoyed working with them!!

I love SB!!! We had Sam and Josh for our big day….couldn’t have gone better. They are friendly, fun, and don’t make you feel awkward at all! We loved our wedding and loved that they were apart of it!

I want to start off by saying our photos turned out AMAZING! Our photographers Will and Katie captured so many amazing shots and we were so pleased. The main thing that made me take a star off was the slow communication we experienced from the owners. When we were nearing the 12 week post wedding mark and no photos, I reached out via email for an update--no response. Waited 2 weeks and called them, no response. Finally after almost 17 weeks post wedding I resorted to a social media message and received a prompt response and our photos the next day. I know companies are going through a lot after bouncing back from the pandemic. We were patient and trusted our final product would be amazing. But reading all the 5 stars reviews made me disappointed that we did not quite get the same experience. My only suggestion to this company would be to respond back to inquiries and/or send updates, especially if things are taking a bit longer. I do want to add, we do appreciate the "extras" they threw in for them being a bit slow in their communication.

SB Photography and Design is truly one of a kind! Not only are they absolutely amazing at photographing the entire experience, my husband and I were able to plan the entire day using the loads of information offered on their website. The brother and sister duo, Sheryl and Peter, were there to capture our day. From the very second they got to the venue I could see how dedicated they were in making sure the day ran smoothly and getting right to work on extraordinary pictures. From Sheryl laying in damp grass to Peter climbing a tree, there was nothing stopping them from capturing incredible moments! They were so easy to work with and so many of our guests commented on how amazing and professional they were! For amazing wedding photos and a chance to support some incredible people, book SB Photography❤️

Truly the best photographers I could have dreamed of working with! They captured our dream day in photos and when I look through the album, I feel like I am reliving every moment. They were great to work with on everything from setting up the initial meeting, engagement photos and wedding day. Incredibly professional and the quality of the work they produce is exquisite! I am very type A and was worried about details being missed but they didn't miss a single one. Anytime my ring was crooked, or my necklace latch was showing they fixed it before I could even be concerned. If you are looking for a photographer, look no further they are worth every cent!

We booked sb photography first out of any of our wedding vendors—and I don’t regret it at all. We just got our photos back today after a bit longer of a wait than anticipated, but we think the wait was well worth it for 1,000 quality photos! We had Adam and Sam shoot our wedding and they did a fabulous job. I was telling my husband they must have captured every single smile on everyone’s face the whole day. We are in love with our photos and will continue to work with sb photography for our next big life events. I also did a boudoir shoot with them for my husband’s wedding gift. Not only did I have a lot of fun doing it, but he loved his gift! Definitely recommend.

Jessica and Will were wonderful photographers for our wedding! They had so many ideas for pictures and they all turned out beautifully.

Book them!! I planned my wedding in 5 weeks and SB photography made it perfect! I worked with Adam, he was so helpful in helping me put together a time line and plan my perfect day! He was extremely professional and organized the entire day! He directed everyone and truly made my wedding day perfect and less stressful! I can not recommend them enough!

The entire team at SB Photography had everything covered from the time we booked thru the wedding day until we received our final wedding photo album. They go above and beyond starting with giving you wedding tips and timeline suggestions leading up to the big day. We were paired with Taylor and Xavier who did an amazing job capturing all aspects of our wedding. They both excelled at making everyone comfortable and really made sure that they posed/captured our bridal party to get some incredible photos. The personalized box and USB containing all of our photos was such a cool surprise. Highly recommend SB Photography for your wedding.

SB Photography & Design is the BEST photography company out there! Our wedding was 10.30.21 and we could not have asked for a better experience. Adam & Sheryl were there to help us from day 1 of wedding planning with any questions we had to present day! They were professional, kind, and felt like family on the day of our wedding. They went above & beyond to make sure all of our special moments were captured. When we got our wedding photos back, I was in awe of all the perfect memories they captured. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Their website has almost every question you can think of answered, and they are extremely responsive with any questions you can think of (and I had a lot!). I felt so at ease the day of our wedding with how organized they were and had full trust in our amazing photographers. We will treasure our photos for the rest of our lives and could not have been happier with our decision to have them be apart of our day. Thank you SO MUCH for everything!!

SB Photography did such a wonderful job with our engagement photos and wedding! We had Josh and Taber for our wedding day and they were incredible! They were so kind, professional, and fun! They were so easy to work with, and they listened to anything that we needed/wanted throughout the whole day. They executed what we wanted perfectly while also bringing their own creative ideas. They were everywhere capturing all pieces of the day!! The photos turned out stunning, and we love them so much! We can't wait to frame them and put them into an album! I love that we have such easy, convenient access to the photos via a link that they sent to us! It makes downloading and sharing so easy! They also were affordable, yet their quality, packages, and perks are so wonderful and high quality. We definitely would recommend SB Photography! Thank you so much to Josh and Taber for everything that they did for us :).

Kara and Xavier were the photographers for my wedding and I could not have asked for a better duo!! They are the most talented and creative photographers I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We had Matt for our engagement photos and he was amazing! We were honored to have Matt again for our wedding day and Molly joined as well! These two were one heck of a team and I couldn’t be happier with how helpful and knowledgeable they were! They always answered my questions and helped bring my ideas to life. Molly even at one point helped my mother bustle my train and I couldn’t be more thankful for her stepping in. Will be contacting SB again for family photos in the future!

We worked with Matt Z. for over a year when we did our engagement session. He is so personable and talented, he had the best suggestions and coordinated smoothly throughout our wedding day. Lucca was our second photographer on our wedding day and she was amazing as well, she helped with such minor details that made everything perfect. Xavier and Luca were our photographers for the day. The minute they arrived to take our “get ready” photos, they brought so much energy to the room! You can instantly tell the passion they have for photography and how excited they are to help you capture the special moments throughout your wedding day. We could not have asked for better people to have by our sides to help us through every step of the process. They had idea after idea for setting up shots around the ceremony & reception venue. As day shifted to night, they pulled us to get stunning shots in the new lighting. I have no doubt that all of our photographs will end up being absolutely perfect!!

When my husband and I were initially planning our wedding, our top priorities were photographer and venue. It is safe to say that we are eternally grateful for the fact that we were able to work with SB photography for our wedding day! We got to know their photography styles and personalities, which was fantastic. We truly can't say enough great things about both, Matt and Leah! They are incredible to work with and are both very personable, absolute gems. The talent and passion they each have for photography is out of this world. Both of them made the day so special for us! Matt and Leah made the day so much more special by getting to know us and the very important people in our lives, hearing our thoughts, constantly kept us all laughing throughout the da, kept us relaxed and made us feel comfortable all while making the experience of taking the pictures so much fun. It truly felt like we had longtime friends capturing our wedding which made it feel so comfortable and easy the second they each stepped through the door that morning. It was also such a relief knowing that we had two photographers who work insanely great together capturing our big day. Honestly, such a dynamic duo that made our day absolutely perfect. The sneak peaks we received are incredible, we can't wait to see the rest because we just know they are going to be unbelievable! My husband and I will absolutely be booking many more photography sessions with Matt and Leah in the future! They truly care and put their passion into the entire session from start to finish. There is no one else besides Matt and Leah, that we would rather have photographing all of our special moments going forward as we start the rest of our lives together! Sheryl & Adam were so amazing throughout the whole wedding process! From engagement photos all the way until our wedding day, they made sure to capture the most perfect moments. SB Photography was amazing from the time we booked them until even after our wedding date! They kept in constant communication with us including answering all of our emails/texts in a timely manor. My fiancé and I were very uncomfortable in front of the camera and Matt helped us to have fun and forget that the camera was there for our engagement photos. We had the pleasure of working with Matt and Maddie for our wedding and we were so very grateful to have them! Maddie was the best hype girl really setting the tone for our wedding day. Will and Taylor were an absolute pleasure to work with! They seamlessly captured the best moments of the night and on top of it - they dealt with my crazy family and rallying everyone together for pictures! Will was so great with all the boys. He was prompt with his arrival to take pictures of the them getting ready and put up with all their crazy pictures requests. He was so easy-going and guests were giving us compliments about him all night long for being so awesome! Even afterwards, my family and the groomsmen were still raving about him! Taylor was great (not just because we’re both named Taylor) but her ability to stay calm and controlled during all the chaos was superb. She was amazing from the beginning until the very end and was so so easy to work with! If you have a large family and you’re concerned about getting everyone together for pictures, Taylor is certainly your girl for the job! Both Taylor and Will had such great ideas for picture poses, scenic background shots, and time-of-day pictures too. So much so that I didn’t even have to request any picture poses myself as they hit them all and then some! 10/10 would recommend this business. Not a single bad thing to say even if I tried! Thank you guys for making our special day so special!

Adam and Tanya were amazing and I can't wait to see pictures! They were a perfect compliment to our wedding day and seemed to capture everything while almost blending into the crowd. They were also very kind and patient and helped us pose with out feeling awkward. Adam even ran to get our rings when the ceremony was about to start and we realized we forgot them upstairs! Matt and Maddie were absolutely incredible to work with! They both are extremely talented in noticing small details which yield perfect photos. They also kept us on track throughout the day and felt like our own personal hype team. No doubt in our minds we were the luckiest couple to have them photograph our special day!

We had met with SB Photogrpahy early on in our planning and initially chose another company that offered photo/DJ as a combined package however that company closed down and we couldn’t be happier that they did having us go back to SB photogrpahy. Taylor and Xavier were our photographers for our wedding; they went above and beyond with everything! When my hair stylist didn’t show for my (the bride) hair and the assistant stylist was already gone Taylor immediately contacted a stylist she knew to come to my rescue. Special shout-out to Anna (Shade of Face FX) for making the special trip to not only make sure my hair was perfect but staying to fix up any of my girls hair throughout the day and being a total game changer with everything she did! Taylor and Xavier were so fun to work with and they captured every second of our wedding day. We are still talking about how amazing they were; our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without the two of them there! We can’t wait to see our sneak peak from the wedding; these two and SB Photography are outstanding!

Our photographers Matt and Leah were amazing for our engagement pictures and wedding! Additionally, the owners Adam and Sheryl were very helpful and responsive when I asked them for a change to our contract as well as for additional photo touch ups. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

Taylor and Josh were the perfect artists to capture our day! They kept the first looks on track and were able to relax an anxious bride. I can not thank them enough for giving me these memories to cherish ( I seriously look at my pictures all the time and just smile). The editing person is amazing and I can not rave more about the quality and high standards they hold themselves too. They are one of the few vendors I worked with that I did not have to second guess or worry about.

We are so glad we chose SB photography and Design for our wedding! They were so helpful in providing guidance with a timeline for the day and how we could fit in some special shots we really wanted (sunset, giant group pic, night shot, etc.). They made the day so easy for us to relax and just let them do their thing. It was so great to have 2 photographers— we felt sure that every moment was captured and could just be present for our big day. We hired SB Photo for our wedding and engagement pictures in July 2020 for our September 2021 wedding. Right from the start, Adam & the SB team were super responsive, even as they dealt with all of the COVID rescheduling, we always felt like we were a priority to them. They helped map out our wedding timeline and are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wedding planning! Kara was our photographer and to say she is talented is an understatement - my husband hates taking photos and even he loved working with her and the photos came out better then we could have imagined! SB Photography was simply a dream to work with! We loved their photos and style after looking at their vast portfolio, as well as having the pleasure of working with some of them at a wedding my husband and I were both in a few years prior. We had Matt and Peter as photographers day of, and they were extremely professional, hilarious, and just complete gems. Matt was so organized, and even when we wanted to go to the state capitol for photos in-between our church ceremony and reception 30 minutes away, they made it happen, with plenty of daylight to spare! We got married in mid-December, and I hadn't accounted for the daylight issue, but they took it in stride, and were just so amazing and accommodating. They were exceptional in every single way; they were professional, but personable and funny at the same time. They were well organized, and efficient at taking group photos. They provided us with recommendations on where to take our photos, and then once arriving to those spots, they had AMAZING pose ideas. Very creative! When we received our final wedding photos, they were ABSOLUTELY beautiful! The edits were simple and natural, making my husband and I feel like we looked ourselves in all the photos. We had so many changes with our wedding due to the pandemic, and they were flexible and so understanding. Matt took our engagement pictures and we were beyond excited when we received them! Wow - where to begin!!!!! From the start, Adam & team have gone above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied, from the initial conversation, engagement photos to the wedding day and all the convos in between. This company is AMAZING to work with and the photos are STUNNING - even though that seems like an understatement. I've never felt more beautiful and they captured everything so perfectly. They respond quickly and efficiently and not only take gorgeous photos, but they help with so many other aspects of the day like timeline etc. We received our photos in a timely manner even given the circumstances of this year. Josh and Sheryl were absolutely amazing. Brody and I could not have picked a better photography group. From the initial consultation to the week of meeting and day of events we could not ask for anything more. On our wedding day, Josh and Cheryl arrived promptly to our bridal and groom suites. From the start their attention to detail and flexibility with our crazy group was incredible. Despite our tardiness to start our photos and get to the venue Josh and Cheryl still managed to capture all the photos we wanted. Both Sheryl and Josh did an amazing job conducting our photos, helping pose us, and ensured we got candid shots. Without this direction we would have felt unstructured and lost. They captured the energy and emotion of our family, wedding party, and friends. By coming prepared with a list of requested photos both photographers made sure we got the family and friends shots we wanted after the ceremony and at the reception. We did a speed song which Sheryl suggested where we took a picture with each table during a song. Sheryl and Josh coordinated with our DJ on this and it was so fun and it was nice to get a photo with each guest! We chose to do our first dance outside on Veterans Terrace and they were able to accommodate this with amazing lighting during. The photographers stayed for some reception shots as well and it was so great to see photos from throughout the evening. Overall, our photos turned out amazing. The quality of photos and candid shots is truly incredible. Our wedding day was captured perfectly and we could not be more thankful for Josh and Sheryl. The SB Photography group was such a great fit for us and provided exceptional service, from communication to presentation we cannot thank them enough!! Brody and I would highly recommend their services for any event or wedding!
