SB Photography and Design is our wedding photography company based in Waukesha, WI. Take a peek at our website and you’ll see instantly a level of transparency that you’ve never experienced with any other vendor. You’ll notice dedication to helping our couples every step of the way that truly does separate us from everyone else: from the most accurate tips to the best timelines to everything else you could possibly need to know, we’re here to take the stress out of planning your special day. We had a bride say she actually saved money not hiring a wedding planner after spending a few hours on our page! And let me share a bit more about us… We’re a small, tight-knit family that realizes that life can happen so that’s why we grew from our two-person team (to ensure we always have a backup photographer). Additionally, we feel that small businesses are always best as you can be competitive with each other and learn from others but staying small means our couples are getting the same boutique experience the day of and photos following that are shown on our website. We keep seeing posts in Wisconsin Brides and other wedding forums about how much they loved their engagement images yet not their wedding day photos, shot by the same photographer. This is because in the beautiful light of golden hour, during an engagement session, even with a cellphone, you can take a good picture. So, often, couples are unknowingly trusting amateurs with the most important day of their lives. Keep in mind too, nearly everything you see on a photographer's site, is shot in beautiful light, that again, anyone can snap a decent photo in. So see full weddings, which are often photographed in much tougher lighting conditions that take a true professional to perfectly shoot, so you can know for certain who will cover your day flawlessly. 🤗 All of our packages include: two incredible photographers (we have no “leads” and “assistants” because we believe in giving you two EQUALLY talented photographers and once you see our portfolios, you’ll be amazed that you get two of us!) a sneak peek, all images online in full resolution (P.S. – before you share your private link with your guests, feel free to “hide” any images) that your guests can download free without logo and with a print release, also, we send you a flash drive, and so much more. 💕 Our reviews will be the most heartfelt and real you’ll find! SB Photography has more than fair pricing, the team is incredibly knowledgeable, and our photographers worked hard to make sure they captured every detail (even asked us weeks prior to the wedding to make notes of what we wanted and referred to them all night as to not miss anything important to us). Not to mention, they’re friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with!
We had the pleasure of working with Adam and Kara on our wedding day. What an amazing team they are!! My husband hates pictures and even he had a good time because Adam and Kara were just so fun and easy to get along with! They kept us laughing, making sure the wedding party was having a good time, and even though they were by our side all night capturing every detail they never seemed to be in the way. Their professionalism was incredible as well, because even though they felt like friends of ours by the end of the night they stayed on task and made sure they captured everything.
I’d say they went above and beyond for us, but I truly think they are this incredible for every couple. I’ll never forget Kara sprinting across the driveway of the venue with her equipment flailing behind her to capture my little cousins doing something cute. Seeing how important every single detail was to them was incredible.
I also let Kara know before the wedding started that I had a lot of anxiety and her and Adam both reassured me all night that everything was on time, running smoothly, and I could just take a breath.
They were more than just photographers. They are truly wedding experts. Prior to the ceremony there was a bit of a hold up and I was panicked because I didn’t know what was going on. I asked Kara to look into it for me. She kindly asked my family members to find their seats (per my request), figured out why things were delayed, and calmly relayed the details to me. She had such a positive attitude and it really helped me get through the pre-ceremony jitters.
Both Adam and Kara will hold a special place in our hearts forever, as they were such a huge part of making the day perfect. From hyping me up allll day and making me feel like an absolute queen to squealing over sunset pictures, we had the best time with them. Thank you SB Photography for all your hard work!

It's hard to find a company that honestly cares so much about your big day, helps you every single step of the way and even offers you full rights to your photographs all said and done. That is extremely rare to find in a company but look no further because that is exactly what SB photography offers.
One of the many aspects that we loved about SB photography is that they allowed us to have the same photographers for both the engagement session (February 17th, 2021) and our wedding day (May 28th, 2022). Having both Matt and Leah ahead of the wedding day for the engagement session made it feel like longtime friends were capturing our wedding. We got to know their photography styles and personalities, which was fantastic.
We truly can't say enough great things about both, Matt and Leah! They are incredible to work with and are both very personable, absolute gems. The talent and passion they each have for photography is out of this world. Both of them made the day so special for us! Matt and Leah made the day so much more special by getting to know us and the very important people in our lives, hearing our thoughts, constantly kept us all laughing throughout the da, kept us relaxed and made us feel comfortable all while making the experience of taking the pictures so much fun. It truly felt like we had longtime friends capturing our wedding which made it feel so comfortable and easy the second they each stepped through the door that morning. It was also such a relief knowing that we had two photographers who work insanely great together capturing our big day. Honestly, such a dynamic duo that made our day absolutely perfect. Matt was also great at keeping in contact with me, and updating me every step of the way from engagement photos, to pre wedding planning, to the actual wedding, to post wedding. I never had to question what was happening.

l arrived promptly to our bridal and groom suites. From the start their attention to detail and flexibility with our crazy group was incredible. Despite our tardiness to start our photos and get to the venue Josh and Cheryl still managed to capture all the photos we wanted. Both Sheryl and Josh did an amazing job conducting our photos, helping pose us, and ensured we got candid shots. Without this direction we would have felt unstructured and lost. They captured the energy and emotion of our family, wedding party, and friends. By coming prepared with a list of requested photos both photographers made sure we got the family and friends shots we wanted after the ceremony and at the reception. We did a speed song which Sheryl suggested where we took a picture with each table during a song. Sheryl and Josh coordinated with our DJ on this and it was so fun and it was nice to get a photo with each guest! We chose to do our first dance outside on Veterans Terrace and they were able to accommodate this with amazing lighting during. The photographers stayed for some reception shots as well and it was so great to see photos from throughout the evening. Overall, our photos turned out amazing. Adam came to shoot our wedding himself AND added on a third photographer for free to capture our day. Jessica, our other photographer was so much fun and wonderful to work with as well. We kept in contact about the timeline of the day of to make sure we had time to get pictures, and where we would be getting our after ceremony pictures taken. Jessica and Josh were very professional, and very fun. My husband had a great time before the ceremony getting his and the groomsmen pictures done with Josh. Josh was very personable, and helped keep the atmosphere relaxed. We ended up with tons of pictures, from before, during and after the ceremony. However, I do wish I could have gotten more with my bridesmaids, as my husband had several taken with his groomsmen. Even some of our guests said they liked the photographers for how fun they were to work with.

become priceless. Everyone was soooo impressed with SB Photography and Design the day of my daughter's wedding. They're extremely professional, efficient, and highly organized.... all while being VERY PERSONABLE AND SUPER FUN! They truly were prepared for anything and ran the timeline of the entire day flawlessly. They took the stress out of everything, really! I have worked for 35+ years in the creative industry, several as a photographer myself, so I was very picky about choosing a photographer for my daughter's wedding.
