really had to “shop around” for was hair and makeup, photo/video, and clothes. The staff was great. Everything from sales, to day of coordinator. They were very friendly and accommodating and very on top of every detail. We had a little snafu with the flowers but the team rectified that immediately! The original company they were contracted with basically ghosted us. But they coordinated with another florist and got everything locked on as soon as we brought the issue to the vendors attention. Then new florist was very responsive and put our minds at ease! If you have a chance to go to the venues extravaganza, DO IT! Try the food, talk to the vendors (cake, florist, photo, DJ, bar tender, chef, officiant, etc.) We did this and it made a huge difference for our wedding. After the extravaganza we changed what appetizers we wanted, we changed the linen we wanted because we had a chance to actually SEE how everything would look together. And what we originally picked out didn’t look right.

We did not have to worry about our timeline or what to do next, they kept everything flowing smoothly.

The entire staff, including Melissa, Shelbi, and Saul, went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. We were extremely pleased with the beautiful venue, elegant decor, and exceptional service provided by Scenic Springs. The location is stunning and extremely well-maintained. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking to have a truly unforgettable wedding day.

as amazing from the moment we set foot on the grounds for the first time (months before the wedding) all the way until the moment we drove away as husband and wife (they even helped with loose ends after the event). They were professional, excited, efficient and attentive. They made the planning process easy and stress-free, including finding us a new vendor when one of theirs didn't work out. They took care of everything while also encouraging us to add in lots of personal details and ideas. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding - thanks to Scenic Springs!

We told them what we wanted, dropped all our stuff off with them at our rehearsal, and we were free to just show up and enjoy our day. They are transparent with their pricing, which is incredibly affordable for the value, and they do not try to squeeze money out of you like other vendors we experienced! The food is amazing and the tasting is an event in itself! Their in-house vendors, cutting edge entertainment and kaitlin rodgers photography, are world class! If you're engaged, run, don't walk to this vendor!

We fell in love with the views of the Texas hill country, the venue’s high ceilings, and fireplace! Joni helped us so much along the way from coordinating with our vendors to ordering the popcorn. Their DJ made the beautiful video of my daughter growing up. We really didn’t have much to set up the day of as everything was taken care of. The vendors Scenic Springs recommended were top notch as well (I know there are some changes to packages most recently). The evening was smooth and just perfect as Joni helped keep us on schedule. Pictures of my daughter on the grounds were gorgeous! My daughter was very happy! We have received so many compliments including, “This was the best quince we’ve ever been to.” I know we have Scenic Springs to thank!

This was so tremendously helpful and really put my mind at ease. They have been a voice of calm and reason through this very scary time, and my family truly feels that we are in the best hands possible. The Scenic Springs team has been exceptionally professional every step of the way, and we can't wait for the day when we get to celebrate my daughter's wedding! of this year. Unfortunately Covid happened and I thought it would ruin my dream of having the perfect wedding. This fear only lasted very briefly however, as Scenic Springs came to the rescue! First, they worked with me on getting my date rescheduled to July and waived all fees they normally charge for doing this. They even contacted all of my vendors for me to get the rescheduled so that I wouldn't have to stress or worry about doing this myself. Then, Covid spiked in the summer, just before my wedding, so Scenic Springs stepped in and was so helpful and easy to work with yet again on pushing my date into October. With Scenic Springs's help on providing sanitizer stations and helpful safety protocols so my guests felt safe, we were able to have the most beautiful wedding of our dreams. They made this whole process so much easier on me than I ever could have hoped. I felt safe and like I was their top priority from day one, which is why I initially booked Scenic Springs. They truly care about their couples and this showed through in everything they did for me and my husband, to truly make us their #1 priority. Now I get to go on with my happily every after married life with so many wonderful memories of the perfect day, thanks to Scenic Springs!

We had our ceremony on the day we originally planned, limiting to immediate family only. We pushed out our reception to our one year anniversary, in hopes more people will come. We are grateful this venue worked with us, and our ceremony went perfectly.

are considering getting married here, just do it! The grounds are beautiful and the perfect mix of getting the outdoor Hill Country vibes while still being within 20 minutes of the city. We had originally booked the All-Inclusive package for our wedding and I cannot tell you how much energy and effort it saved me leading up to the wedding. I honestly found myself sitting around sometimes wondering what even still needed to be done for wedding planning, which is not something that every bride can say. Lorna and Murray were always an email or text away and they worked hard to accommodate all of our requests and answer all of our questions. When the coronavirus hit three weeks before our wedding, they were BEYOND accommodating. We first decided to reschedule to October 2020 and they changed our date readily with no additional charges and worked with all of our vendors included in the package to adjust. When we ultimately decided to cancel for our rescheduled date in favor of a smaller ceremony at home, Lorna and Murray were extremely understanding and they went above and beyond what was stipulated in our contract to refund us. Although this is a situation unique to myself and other coronabrides - it speaks a lot to the character and integrity of the people running the venue. It is important to have people who see you as a person and not just another contract on such an emotional and significant day and for that reason alone, you can't go wrong booking Scenic Springs! My husband and I are very sad that we never got to experience the day that we had been planning, but if we had to do it over again we would still book with Scenic Springs.

ses, the wildlife that randomly pass through(there were a few deer at the ceremony), and the log cabin which reminded him of his home in Colorado it was the perfect venue for us. The planning process was pretty smooth, I was not a bride who was obsessed with perfection so decisions were made at the last minute, but Joni handled that really well. Everything was pretty perfect... except for the wedding day. Now, to be fair about everyone was running late including the groom, and the ceremony was an hour and a half late... but it wouldn't have been so bad if Joni would have 1) asked the guests for additional help for the bridal party or 2) had not told the groom's family that the bride had cold feet. Mind you, I was in panic mode because I WAS ready but my dress had to go on last, and my bridesmaids weren't ready. Joni was not really around to help with this situation and I almost cried in anger before reaching the alter. Then there was the Snow White incident where I went down the stairs and ended up bringing spiders and crickets with me to the alter... one of my bridesmaids proceeded to beat my dress with her bouquet during the nuptials... please treat your stairs for bugs! It ended up being a funny moment but... a bride who hates spiders would have LOST IT. With the delay of the ceremony everything at the reception was rushed which was to be expected, but the lack of control was really obvious from Joni and Jacob. Also the playlist I created wasn't shuffled, so the best music was at the end... when everyone had already left the venue! All in all it was a chaotic mess and it took me about a month to be proud of the wedding fully. But, our families actually making it down from Colorado and how beautiful the ceremony was is what I will treasure for the rest of our lives. This venue is very reasonable in its packages and prices... but if you book during the week your coordinator is not as involved as they should be.

ur coordinator, Joni, was awesome. She was very responsive and helpful throughout our year of planning and was invaluable for the day of the wedding making sure everyone and everything was in place. Our DJ, Jacob, was also provided by the venue and he was great to work with! He made sure we loved our monogram and all the music for the day! The wedding cake provided by the venue was delicious and beautiful! If I'm being super picky, I wish the bridal suite had more/better lighting for getting ready but I think that's a pretty minor thing compared to everything else. I loved that Scenic Springs felt tucked away and special without being too far from the city. I would 100% choose Scenic Springs again and again!

e. Joni was nothing but rude. We planned a simple wedding with few decorations and she told us our decorations were "ehh… you know, not as nice." We order Olive Garden to cater our wedding and set up buffet style. She called Olive Garden to see how much the gallon drinks were to set up at each table- something we never mentioned- which had Olive Garden worried and they called me about the concerns, she called to see if she could move up the time that catering would be delivered- something we never discuss and we had mutually agreed upon the time of delivery and set up- and again had Olive Garden call because they were confused, and she also called Olive Garden to attempt to get servers to serve dinner- when again we told her it was going to be buffet style and people would serve themselves- and again Olive Garden called concerned about Joni called and trying to make changes. Joni had set up the wedding altar with the altar then tables then the chairs halfway down the dance floor for the wedding- people would need binoculars to see the ceremony. I asked her to change the set up so it would be altar then chairs then tables on the other side of the hall so people could actually see the ceremony but she told me "that's just how we do it here," (there were staff there that could rearrange tables and chairs) it was an argument for 10 minutes to the point I told Joni either she can have her staff move the staff or I would myself. The tables got moved. She told my wedding photographer that she would only have 30 minutes to do all of the wedding pictures- making my wedding photographer cry because she really wanted to take pictures for memories. She went to my family during the rehearsal and told them they needed to do speeches when we had already told her that they were not doing the speeches. She came and checked on myself twice prior to the wedding on the wedding day. She went MIA and our best man acted like the coordinator to get people in place to line up since she was missing. She kept my dad outside of my room before walking down the aisle so will never get to have that moment with my father. She told people to sit back down when they went up to the bar to get drinks for the toasts. My guests commented saying it was a beautiful wedding but my coordinator was rude. She damaged the cake and lost the top tier of the wedding cake- she claimed she told my family members but when asked they said she never spoke to them. She handed out bubbles for the going away before we did the last dance so people came outside for the going away part but then wanted us to go back inside for the last dance. Very unorganized. Very disappointed. Regret having the wedding at here. Joni just created issues for us. Felt like she tried to make my wedding her version of the wedding she felt it should be.

I rented some decorations from her as well and she did an excellent job with those even throwing in a few extras! I also ordered my cake from their baker, Lorna, and it was perfect! Their DJ Jacob did amazing as well! I loved that he made playlists on Spotify for us that we could edit before the day. And he was very helpful the day of with requests from our guests. He did the music for the ceremony as well and it went seamlessly. We also hired their bartender and she did a fantastic job. She even brought me the last glass of moscato she had at the end of the night! Joni did such an amazing job directing everyone during the rehearsal the day before and kept everyone calm the day of despite some weather difficulties. That was probably the only downfall of this venue. It started flooding the morning of our wedding, and both entrances to the road were blocked off until a few hours before our 5:00 ceremony. Thank God they finally started letting people through or we would have had a very late start. Just something to be aware of if there is inclement weather. Luckily I had already decided to have the ceremony indoors because I was worried about the July heat, and the rain let up enough to take pictures outdoors. I only had about 40 guests and wasn’t sure if the hall would seem too big, but it turned out to be a perfect, intimate setting! I highly recommend scenic springs for your big day! That being said, we did not opt for the all inclusive package, but Joni recommended we try Got it Covered for catering (who does their all inclusive package). I set up a tasting for me, my husband and mother-in-law and, quite frankly, we had a terrible experience that made me refuse to go to any more tastings with “wedding caterers”. First of all, when we showed up, our salads were already sitting on the table for God knows how long. They had poured sweet tea, and when we asked for unsweet, they refused to make some. I had emailed with them about what dishes I wanted to try, but they didn’t ask what sides we wanted. Then they messed up one of the entrees and told me that’s what I had said...They served us very small portions and the food was not good at all. The woman who was helping us was just very rude the whole time. She didn’t sit down with us to explain the dishes, and when we finished and got up to talk with her, she assumed we were hiring them and started to ask about our menu (I think she thought we had purchased the all inclusive package with scenic springs but that is no excuse for her behavior). I had already decided I did not want to use them and it was very uncomfortable. She even tried to argue with me about some of my food intolerances telling me that there is gluten in rice...My fiancé is too nice and was trying to hear her out, but I finally had to say I didn’t like it and wanted to leave. If you choose to do the all inclusive package with scenic springs, i recommend asking for a different caterer.

day we were able to have a tour at the property and we fell in love with it! We knew this was the place we were meant to get married at. It has the perfect combination of an outdoor ceremony space, which is all shaded with beautiful trees and an indoor reception hall that sits on top of a hill with beautiful views. We got married early June and you couldn't even tell it was that hot because of all the trees on the property. Lorna, the owner, was incredibly accommodating on our tight timeline and helped us to achieve exactly what we wanted. I also highly recommend renting the lodge on property! It made it so easy to get ready and spend time with family without having to worry about any form of transportation to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. We also chose to rent the cottage on site for myself and my husband on the night of. We were able to enjoy every bit of our evening knowing that it was just a short walk to the cottage after the reception. Check in and check out was a breeze! And of course, the day would not have been complete without the help of Joni, our wedding manager. She handled EVERYTHING! From timeline, contacting vendors, linens, table set up, staying on schedule and coordinating the entire day, she did an AMAZING job! I highly recommend this venue, especially having a wedding manager included made my life way less stressful. If you're in the area, definitely schedule an appointment to see this wonderful venue!

%. I also used their baker and dj who were great at what they do. My wedding cake came out perfect and the dj was there to help in any way he could. The rental here comes with table cloths! Table cloths were so hard for me to find at the beginning so when Joni said they had them I was set on the place. Very highly recommend scenic springs. My wedding was perfect to me, I wouldn’t have changed it for anything. Joni also kept in touch with all my vendors down to the wire. My photographer sadly had the wrong date written down and didn’t show but Joni was on it trying to reach other photographers, thankfully we already had a back up though.
