was so helpful all along the way even when she was on vacation. I rented some decorations from her as well and she did an excellent job with those even throwing in a few extras! I also ordered my cake from their baker, Lorna, and it was perfect! Their DJ Jacob did amazing as well! I loved that he made playlists on Spotify for us that we could edit before the day. And he was very helpful the day of with requests from our guests. He did the music for the ceremony as well and it went seamlessly. We also hired their bartender and she did a fantastic job. She even brought me the last glass of moscato she had at the end of the night! Joni did such an amazing job directing everyone during the rehearsal the day before and kept everyone calm the day of despite some weather difficulties. That was probably the only downfall of this venue. It started flooding the morning of our wedding, and both entrances to the road were blocked off until a few hours before our 5:00 ceremony. Thank God they finally started letting people through or we would have had a very late start. Just something to be aware of if there is inclement weather. Luckily I had already decided to have the ceremony indoors because I was worried about the July heat, and the rain let up enough to take pictures outdoors. I only had about 40 guests and wasn’t sure if the hall would seem too big, but it turned out to be a perfect, intimate setting! I highly recommend scenic springs for your big day! That being said, we did not opt for the all inclusive package, but Joni recommended we try Got it Covered for catering (who does their all inclusive package). I set up a tasting for me, my husband and mother-in-law and, quite frankly, we had a terrible experience that made me refuse to go to any more tastings with “wedding caterers”. First of all, when we showed up, our salads were already sitting on the table for God knows how long. They had poured sweet tea, and when we asked for unsweet, they refused to make some. I had emailed with them about what dishes I wanted to try, but they didn’t ask what sides we wanted. Then they messed up one of the entrees and told me that’s what I had said...They served us very small portions and the food was not good at all. The woman who was helping us was just very rude the whole time. She didn’t sit down with us to explain the dishes, and when we finished and got up to talk with her, she assumed we were hiring them and started to ask about our menu (I think she thought we had purchased the all inclusive package with scenic springs but that is no excuse for her behavior). I had already decided I did not want to use them and it was very uncomfortable. She even tried to argue with me about some of my food intolerances telling me that there is gluten in rice...My fiancé is too nice and was trying to hear her out, but I finally had to say I didn’t like it and wanted to leave. If you choose to do the all inclusive package with scenic springs, i recommend asking for a different caterer.

love with it! We knew this was the place we were meant to get married at. It has the perfect combination of an outdoor ceremony space, which is all shaded with beautiful trees and an indoor reception hall that sits on top of a hill with beautiful views. We got married early June and you couldn't even tell it was that hot because of all the trees on the property. Lorna, the owner, was incredibly accommodating on our tight timeline and helped us to achieve exactly what we wanted. I also highly recommend renting the lodge on property! It made it so easy to get ready and spend time with family without having to worry about any form of transportation to and from the venue on the day of the wedding. We also chose to rent the cottage on site for myself and my husband on the night of. We were able to enjoy every bit of our evening knowing that it was just a short walk to the cottage after the reception. Check in and check out was a breeze! And of course, the day would not have been complete without the help of Joni, our wedding manager. She handled EVERYTHING! From timeline, contacting vendors, linens, table set up, staying on schedule and coordinating the entire day, she did an AMAZING job! I highly recommend this venue, especially having a wedding manager included made my life way less stressful. If you're in the area, definitely schedule an appointment to see this wonderful venue!

. My wedding cake came out perfect and the dj was there to help in any way he could. The rental here comes with table cloths! Table cloths were so hard for me to find at the beginning so when Joni said they had them I was set on the place. Very highly recommend scenic springs. My wedding was perfect to me, I wouldn’t have changed it for anything. Joni also kept in touch with all my vendors down to the wire. My photographer sadly had the wrong date written down and didn’t show but Joni was on it trying to reach other photographers, thankfully we already had a back up though.

It so happened that I found Scenic Springs as one of the options and I was just enamored by the unique website, where it featured wedding ceremony/reception information, the beautiful location, special offers, person to contact, and more...From our first visit at Scenic Springs, my husband and I met with the wedding coordinator, Joni Polanski, who was very helpful at setting the date for our reception; she stayed in contact with us until the day of our wedding. Without her we would have not had an amazing and unforgettable Fall wedding reception at Scenic Springs. We were so amazed and very happy with the way everything turned out on our special day that we even wish we could relive that particular day all over again. Also, we want to thank Scenic Springs for recommending a DJ, the catering company, the florists, as well as the cake company who all helped to make our event more beautiful and special. Our photo booth was from Black Tie Party Rentals and Jamie was a pleasure to work with. Pastor Samuel Galindo married us. If I missed any other vendors, I do apologize. Joni coordinated with all of our vendors so well and all of our guests complimented how organized the event was. It really was a dream come true fairytale wedding. Please please please book here. best ever. Jacob was the DJ for our reception and he was excellent at making sure we got the music we wanted for each part of the reception. Our cake and groom's cake were also made by Scenic Springs and it was exactly how we pictured them to be. Over all, having our reception at Scenic Springs was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day.

Both Lorna and Joni were awesome to work with, both very sweet and helpful. Joni was always very quick to respond to my many emails which is important when planning a wedding. Our families came in from out of state and we felt this was the perfect venue to show them a little slice of Texas hill country. They all gushed over the beauty. We had our ceremony in front of a tree next to the creek that runs through the property, but there are plenty of other choices including a gazebo and multiple archways. We also had a small reception on the beautiful tiered stone patio. It was the perfect day for us and we are so grateful to have found scenic springs, they gave us everything we were looking for in a venue and I would highly recommend them.

The wedding planner did not see it necessary I guess. The other thing that went a little wrong was the music. We found out at the very last second that we could not connect our iPhone to their provided sound system. On top of that if we did then one of our guests would have to stand at the back to control the music. Luckily we had a Bluetooth speaker that was loud enough to cover the area. My only suggestion is do not bother to use their wedding planner. Everything else was amazing.

Our wedding day turned out beautiful and all thanks to the help from our Scenic Springs wedding coordinator Murri, baker Lorna and DJ Kent. Murri was absolutely the greatest help during our wedding planning process and made sure everything went smoothly and even that our smallest request were met on our big day! Lorna who made our wedding cake exceeded our expectations on how great our wedding cake turned out. When we first met with Lorna I told her about the naked wedding cake idea I had and she surely did not disappoint. Kent our DJ was faboulous and made our reception music so accommodating to our guests. Our guest are still talking very highly on how great everything turned out. We can not recommend this venue enough for someone else's special day! From the florist they referred us to (House of Blooms) , the photographer (Kristen from Blue Fire Photographing) and catering (Got It Covered) wouldn't change a thing! Not to mention the venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and great scenery all around but the Scenic Spring's staff definitely makes it a plus. Our wedding day turned out to be the beautiful fall wedding my husband and I had hoped for. It was truly a blessed and memorable day for us and our guests!

I had to do was show up to a few appointments and make my selections. All of the vendors they work with are very, very high quality. All you do is pay one lump sum to Scenic Springs, and they assist in taking care of everything. The staff is super helpful, super flexible. I was a completely stress-free bride during the entire planning process. So many friends and coworkers were so surprised at how easy my planning process was. THANKS SCENIC SPRINGS (especially Lorna and Freda)!

We let Murri know that we were going to plan our honeymoon about a year after our wedding because I was still in school. Murri checked in with us on a regular basis so that we could start planning little by little. I was extremely impressed with Murri because we chose to honeymoon in Lithuania, which is not a usual honeymoon spot. We also were contemplating on two destinations for our honeymoon and Murri researched both and gave us several options. Unfortunately due to work we were only able to go to Lithuania but we really appreciated all the research Murri provided us with. Murri helped us with all of the things we needed to do for passports and was able to find us airline tickets for an extremely reasonable price. I cannot emphasize enough how smoothly the process went. Murri always checked in with us and gave us updates on our travel plans. She provided us with everything we needed and went the extra mile to print out information about where we were staying and things to do on our free days while we were there. When we were actually traveling on our honeymoon, our flights got changed and I was able to email Murri to inform our contacts in Lithuania so that they were aware of the changes. I cannot recommend Scenic Springs enough for travel plans. Thank you so much!

She put together our timeline, coordinated with all of our vendors, was available to answer our questions 24/7 and made us feel like family. She was there throughout our entire wedding and reception to make sure everything went the way we had planned. This allowed me to thoroughly enjoy my wedding without having to worry about anything! They offered so much flexibility and really helped us personalize our wedding. They also offer just about everything in-house which is incredibly convenient! We utilized their DJ service, premium lighting, monogram, wedding cake and officiant. While you are allowed to bring in your own outside vendors, I would highly recommend using their in-house ones. Not only was it easier for us to use their vendors, but their prices are incredibly comparable to outside ones already and their service is all top notch! I haven't even talked about how beautiful Scenic Springs is! It is such a magical setting. I felt like I was in the Enchanted Forest with the deer and peacocks strolling around. We were married in late December (12/18/14) and initially were worried about the weather. However, it was perfect and everything was still green and lush! There was just something so special about the atmosphere. I want to get married again so I can re-live the entire magical experience. Truly the best day of my life!!

They were all so helpful and always made themselves available to assist and answered any questions we had. We were in constant contact with our wedding day coordinator throughout the entire process, and we are very grateful to have had that for our big day. That was one of the main attractions to us but we honestly didn't even notice during the reception since we were so busy. This was not a first marriage for either of us, so we elected to forego the traditional for something "different!" We had the most delicious, intricate wedding and grooms cake!! She is brilliant at her creativeness.. she can truly do whatever you can conceive!!! The venue looked perfect, Jacob the DJ was in constant touch and every cue was precise.....We had a blast and have had nothing but rave reviews from our guests. The food was a special Halloween/pirate themed menu which was absolutely delicious and served our theme only too well!!! It was awesome to have every detail attended to with such precision. I thought that being out of town the week of our celebration would make it challenging to personally oversee details for the home celebration.... BUT.... not to worry.. It was all handled professionally and efficiently and came off without a hitch!!! Thanks to lorna and her awesome vendors for making this a truly magical dream come true event!!!!

Long story short, my wedding was perfect and I know that Scenic Springs is one of the main reasons why! They have plenty of packages to choose from to fit your needs. From just a "ceremony only" package to a "all in one" show up in the dress package. There's definitely a package for everyone. Murri was also my awesome wedding day coordinator and she knows the venue so well. I honestly cannot say one negative thing about this venue! They made my day so special and memorable! I will tell everyone about them! So thankful!

at wander the property add beauty and a bit of fun. The reception hall was also perfect, it was very spacious for our 150 guest wedding and had all the amenities we could hope for. Our caterer loved the food preparation area , and the built in bar made it very easy for our guests to enjoy beverages. I think the best feature is if you use the Scenic Springs DJ the lighting and sound systems are already built into the building so there is no bulky equipment around or cords for people to trip on. All of the staff members we worked with were very friendly, helpful and focused on making sure our wedding went just the way we wanted it to. We met frequently with our on site coordinator to ensure that all of the details were worked out and we were on track with all of the planning we needed to do. The on site cakes were so delicious and they were able to even do a Star Trek grooms cake that was absolutely perfect. The DJ was very easy to work with and used Spotify playlists for us to add or remove songs at our leisure and so we felt like we had complete control over what music played at our wedding. All in all we were very pleased with Scenic Springs and would definitely recommend it for those looking for a beautiful outdoor setting for their wedding. With the added comfort of an indoor reception hall for after the ceremony.

Just recently moving to Texas, being in school full time, and working 40 plus hours I was worried that I would be overwhelmed with planning a wedding. When I found Scenic Springs had an all-inclusive package, we knew this was the venue for us. Other venues we had looked at (and we looked at a lot), made it seem like we were an inconvenience asking for a tour and just made us feel uncomfortable. Murri not only made us feel like VIP during our tour but called to follow-up with us. No other venue we toured did that. Scenic Springs made us feel so special and they made us feel like we were one of their most important clients throughout the whole wedding planning. I cannot emphasize enough how convenient all of their packages are. When I researched other venues, I found that I had to not only rent the venue BUT also had to find a caterer a florist, rent tables etc. There were so many unexpected costs that I was overwhelmed with trying to find the best deal. With Scenic springs, all we had to do was pay one price and they took care of the behind the scenes planning. We just gave our vision and they put it into reality. Scenic springs essentially made all of my wedding dreams come true. Lorna was AMAZING to work with and basically tailored the peacock package to all of my crazy requests. Freda was our wedding planner and is wonder woman. She was always checking in making sure all the plans were going as I had hoped, and stayed in constant contact with our vendors. The venue had just finished their cottage on the property and we got to use it for our wedding weekend. It is the most darling and cozy cottage. We used it for two nights, and every morning right outside our door we saw at least 5 peacocks and deer! The cottage is tucked away so we could enjoy our privacy, but the fact that we did not have to hire transportation and could just stroll over to the cottage was just another excellent perk. I could write a novel about how amazing Scenic Springs is and how it was worth every penny, hopefully though this gives you a sneak peak and you will have the chance to have your happily ever after like we did!

Also, we can't say enough good things about our coordinator (who came with the venue as part of the package! YAY!!), Freda. She was on top of her game to the point where there was a catering struggle that we were originally unaware of - but she handled it, let us know what was going on along the way, and gave us great advice. She was really the greatest part of the wedding! She kept everyone calm and stressfree, while keeping the wedding moving smoothly and on time. So great! But, like we said, words can't describe how perfect this place was for our wedding. It was the perfect combination of rustic-outdoorsy-ness for him, and classy-elegant-indoorsy-ness for her. It really is the best of both worlds - all for one great price! (and, the peacocks are a hilarious and very welcome addition...loved them...)

for the exact date that I had wanted. I called immediately and scheduled a tour with Joni. From the trees, to the view, to the peacocks, I knew this venue was what I wanted. Scenic Springs has a list of other venders they suggest for catering and flowers. We called their top suggestions and luckily those venders were also available for our date. We used Scenic's in-house cake decorator Lorna and DJ Kent who were just as attentive and personal throughout the planning of our wedding. The cake testing was quite fun and the DJ set us up with a Spotify account so we could add music at our leisure. Rehearsal was not rushed at all. We had both Joni and Kent there to help us with the timing of our entrance. Whatever questions we had Joni answered us and maintained her patience with us - we have quite a big family : ) On the day of our wedding, everything went like clockwork. Joni was exceptional as she did not pester us, but rather discretely kept us informed about what was to occur next. She had everything in place for the reception hall, and she even helped fix my dress as I had a malfunction walking down the isle. My husband and I had been to weddings before where we saw the wedding coordinator rush the brides and grooms - this was not the case with Joni. She kept me relaxed the whole day and there was nothing for my husband and I to worry about. She let us take our time and gather ourselves emotionally before making us do the next task, such as cake cutting or the father-daughter dance. For anyone wanting a hill country wedding Scenic Springs is the obvious answer. The grounds are lovely, you are surrounded by nature, and an in-door reception hall with breathtaking view windows is a must for summer weddings. The peacocks are beautiful too - we named our quite vocal peacock Kevin from the movie Up.

we knew it was pointless to look at any other venues. The all in one package was so easy to plan and the staff was so helpful! They recommend amazing vendors and everything went smoothly. Scenic Springs is AFFORDABLE, BEAUTIFUL, and will make any wedding perfect. The property is absolutely gorgeous!!!! It is romantic, charming and just perfect for any wedding! The staff was so sweet and helpful! Lorna, the director kept in contact with me when necessary and also made our wedding cakes! My guest are still talking about them! They were beautiful and delicious! Our wedding coordinator, Murri was amazing and made everything easy for us! She was in contact with me at a regular basis, offered to book our honeymoon and sent package deals for us to pick from. She made sure our day was PERFECT!!! Our wedding was more than we ever expected and we definitely have Scenic Springs to thank.

ner, Freda, called all of our outside vendors and made sure everyone was kept up-to-date on any changes made to the schedule. We ended up getting our wedding cake, bar service, officiant, and DJ through them as well and all were amazing! They also made excellent recommendations for catering (Got it Covered) and flowers (Wilson Nursery and Landscaping) which we went with as well. The day of the wedding we were able to get ready onsite and had the most relaxing time before all of the anxiety set in. Our wedding on the grand lawn and reception in the hall was absolutely beautiful and Freda kept us organized and calm throughout the entire process. I am so thankful for all of the amazing people we worked with at Scenic Springs and would recommend all of their services in the highest regard.

is so warm and friendly, it was like being at home, but with wonderful music and scenery! They have their own bakery and will provide cakes as requested, even matching suggested pictures. We chose this option so as not to worry about a delivery. We had many choices for flavors and tastings and honestly it was hard to decide as they were all great. With the bride and groom's cake, both turned out wonderfully delicious and we heard nothing but compliments about the cakes and the facility from all of the guests. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, which was our goal!

l country close to Grey Forest. The location is beautiful, you are surrounded by trees and hills in every direction you look. It truly feels like you are out in the country, and makes for an amazing 'country' wedding. Both Lorna and Freda got to work right away. They were constantly emailing me and touching base with me to make sure all of my needs were met. They offer several services at the venue, including a bakery, their own DJ, bar, etc. I went with their baker for both my wedding cake and groom's cake. All I had to do was show them a photo of what I wanted and they created it. They let me come in for a cake tasting, in which they had probably 10 flavors of cake and icings to choose from. Once I put my order in with them, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Working with the vendors they had onsite allowed such a big chuck of all the stresses to be lifted off my back. Freda, my personal wedding planner that worked with me through the wedding process was AMAZING! She could answer any question, offered suggestions of how I could do things, and even worked with my vendors to make sure they all were aware of what I wanted and made sure they arrived on the day of the wedding. If I ever had a question, I never felt like I couldn't ask her. Jacob, my DJ was also helpful. I was able to give him a list of the songs I wanted and when I wanted them played and he made that happen as well. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Freda called all of my vendors verifying that they were still coming out on my wedding day, made sure all the right linens were and color schemes were ordered, and made sure I had nothing at all to stress about in the weeks leading up to it. And really, I didn't. The day of my wedding was spectacular. The weather was perfect, Freda was onsite early to help me with absolutely anything I needed. My hair lady didn't even show up and Freda brought me hair spray and brushes to make sure I had everything I needed to do my own hair. It's the little things like that, that would make me recommend this place to anyone. When it came time for me to walk out, I started crying all of a sudden and was so nervous, and she was standing right there with me with tissues to wipe my tears away. The lawn is kept manicured and beautiful, the music was perfect and I couldn't have had a more amazing wedding. The reception hall that I used (which is fairly new) was also amazing! It was air conditioned, clean, had a great dance floor, had beautiful lighting and an amazing view. That day will definitely be a day to remember!

flow of timeline should play out on my wedding day. I had my wedding cake provided by Scenic Springs and it was amazing!! When I showed up to the reception I could not believe how it turned out. Everything was what I wanted on the cake even the littlest details. I also had my DJ provided by Scenic Springs and he did everything I had asked. I gave him a list of songs that me and my husband wanted played and all throughout the night he was able to blend our music together (my husband and I have very different taste in music). The view at Scenic Springs is breath taking; all throughout the night my guest came to me and told me how much they enjoyed Scenic Springs beauty.

the scenery. More importantly we found the staff exceptionally warm, so friendly and so very helpful. They made us feel as if our event was the only event they had on their agenda. The staff was outstanding, the wedding coordinator treated you like family and every staff member we met with was so kind and helpful (wait I already said that). We had already visited other venues (several) prior to committing to Scenic Springs. I had even committed to one venue prior to my visit to Scenic Springs and had already paid a hefty deposit. Although the other venue was nice, I found the experience very business-like, staff was detached and uninvolved. It seemed very much like a business transaction and it really made us all uneasy. So we kept looking, even though we had already found what we thought would be the wedding venue. However, once we visited Scenic Springs and saw the beautiful outdoor greenery that was so well kept and we met with the staff, we knew we had to hold my daughter’s special day at this very place. I cancelled my reservation at the other venue I had already secured and lost my entire deposit and although it was a costly decision, I knew we made the right one. We were so very blessed to have come across this jewel. I cannot say enough about the whole experience. It was beautifully coordinated and we felt as if so many of our concerns were lifted off our shoulders and they took care of so many details we thought we had to worry about and even some of the details we forgot. They also made exceptional recommendations on catering, which we took and found the caters to be exceptional as well. More importantly, Scenic Springs staff is unique in their support, their expertise, and their guidance and overall with their way of making the bride, the family and the whole experience so very special. A wedding day is one of the most important days in a bride/grooms life, if we could do it all over again, I am certain both the groom and bride would have not changed anything about their wedding and overall experience. Thank you Scenic Springs for a memorable event. We received so many, many compliments on the scenery, the graceful flow of the day from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception. Thank you!
