Scenic View Country Club

Scenic View was simply amazing, they are super affordable and the golf club is so, so beautiful! We had so many compliments on how great our location was! Also, their food is unbelievable! This is one of the reasonalbe places we looked at, and it by far blew every other place out of the water! I recommend anyone looking for a venue to check out this place...definitely worth every penny!

We had our wedding there this October, the weather was amazing! The trees and location of our ceremony outside was amazing! Kelsey the event coordinator was so helpful and there for any question that we had and helped take care of it. Overall the whole experience was very enjoyable just by the help of the people at scenic view, I wouldn't have changed our location for nothing. And the price was very reasonable.

The venue itself is beautiful!! Huge floor to ceiling windows in the main dining/dancing area, so the view is great! But the people at Scenic View when I had my October 1st wedding were not the same people I booked the venue with over a year ago. Within the time of the booking of the site, last November, and the meeting 45 days before the wedding, the main wedding coordinator person changed, and nobody let me know. When I booked the site, Rod was the coordinator, and he was very personable and accommodating, and took notes on what I and my family wanted. However, when I called to set up the 45 day appointment, I was informed Rod no longer worked there and now it was K. At the appointment, K was nice but slow to warm up and have a smile on her face. She took a few notes on what we wanted, and we kind of went through everything else to make sure she understood what Rod had written. There were a few details I had to decide on yet- color of the napkins, what kind of free beer for our guests- that I told her I would get back to her on. Roughly two weeks before the wedding, I called to speak with K to let her know my decision on those details, and was informed that K was getting married that weekend and wasn't available that week and the beginning of the next week. K had mentioned she was getting married at the 45 day meeting, but not that she was getting married the week before us and wouldn't be at work! So I spoke with that woman about the final details, and confirmed a small request that I had also told Rod and K- that we needed one bottle of Pear Vodka at the wedding reception for my stepmom and her friends. Every person I spoke to reassured me they could get it. The Monday before the wedding I went to the country club to look at it again and to finalize details- I met with another person I hadn't met before, and confirmed the final details and the pear vodka thing again. The morning of the wedding, the dance floor was in a different spot than I had seen it in. The woman helping us set up was very set in how everything would get set up, nevermind how the bride felt. I had to leave to go get my hair done, but I was told that awhile after I left, after my stepmom finished setting up the decorations, that there was a luncheon of around 40 people in our reception space, with our decorations set up! They had mentioned a small party the night before and that's why we couldn't set up Friday night, but we were told from the beginning the upstairs was our space the entire day. I was very uncomfortable with that, finding out after the fact. They never did get the bottle of pear vodka, and when asked about it, they said they tried their two suppliers and didn't find it. I would think a good idea would be to call someone to tell them something they said months ago wasn't going to happen, since in fact my dad had a bottle at home! He said he thought about bringing it, but we had been reassured by 4 different people they would have it, so why would we need it. Turns out we needed it! Overall, I was just disappointed. The grounds and space was beautiful, and most of the staff were great, nice people. But I was very disappointed with how myself and my family were treated.

My reception was amazing and everything was beautiful but they changed my contact or wedding planner several times including the day of the wedding so they got me scared but everything turned out great.

Scenic View did an AMAZING job catering our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious and they worked with us to make it a truly personal event. They went above and beyond all our high expectations! Thank you, Scenic View!!
