Scott Conference Center

Scott Conference Center was absolutely wonderful to work with!! They were great about communicating and responding back to emails in a timely manner. They were also very organized and kind. It was a huge relief knowing they handled setting up my decor and help tear down. My hair person mentioned I seemed very calm for my wedding day and I said well my venue is doing most of the set up so that takes a lot of stress off of me! We had many people mention to us how wonderful the food was! The staff was very quick to get food out. Overall, I highly recommend this venue for your wedding.

My friends and family are probably so sick of hearing how AMAZING the SCC is. 😉 I toured many reception venues and fell in love with how personable Jerrica was and how she was genuinely excited to celebrate my now husband and I. They were quick to respond to all of my emails and were always eager to help! Jerrica and Lily were there the day of to help make things run smoothly and they did exactly that. We are still obsessing over how perfect everything went for us and the SCC had a HUGE hand in that. They set everything up so my mom and sister could enjoy the morning of with me and they tore down so all of us could enjoy the rest of our night which was so special to all of us. We got so many compliments on the food which was a huge bonus! If I could plan my wedding over and over again, I would forever choose the Scott Conference Center!

Jerrica and Lily were so amazing to work with! They were so great at communication and super responsive. They were able to answer all and any questions we had. They were very accommodating with all of our crazy ideas we had in mind and helped them come to life! Highly recommend this venue and working with them! They helped everything work out seamlessly on such a busy and exciting day! Not to mention the food was phenomenal!! We heard from all of our guests that the food was top notch and so yummy! My husband and I are coming up on our year anniversary and we still hear about how great everything about our reception was! Cannot recommend them enough! You won’t regret it :)

We had the best experience with the Scott center for our wedding! Lily and Jerrica are amazing and made the entire process so easy. They set up our decorations for us and stored them until Sunday evening so we could enjoy time with our guests. We are still receiving glowing reviews on our food and for an added plus there are multiple hotels within walking distance! Choose the Scott Center!!

Jerrica and Lily really made the SCC an exceptional expereince. Some venues in Omaha charge thousands and thousands for the kind of professional service they provide. The best part? The FEW vendors we did hire for services they didn't provide told us time and time again how awesome and PROFESSIONAL SCC is compared to the other venues they service. Food was amazing and hot (something rare at weddings), Decor was fantastic, Drop off and pickup of items was very easy. I only have two complaints but they're so small I can't take anything away: 1) Being constricted to one bar vendor is difficult and I feel like the pricing was on the high side (but required to maintain quality, so it's understandable) - and the bar vendor did a GREAT job. 2) The name would do much better with an update, "The Scott", "The Scott Event Center", or something less corporate. Again - Amazing experience and 10/10 would recommend this venue for anyone considering it for their wedding!

The best place to get married

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Scott Conference Center in July of 2024. We cannot recommend this event space enough! I only had a little vision of what I wanted and Jerrica, Lily, and their whole team were able to make it come to life! I was planning my wedding out of town and in my senior year of nursing school, and Jerrica and Lily helped me out every step of the way. They not only made sure the space was completely decorated, but they helped orchestrate the other vendors! They responded quickly to my questions and provided me vendors. I cannot recommend them enough! I am two months from my wedding and people are still talking about the food! I had the buffet style with an extra meat option. All of my guests could not believe the quality of the food for over 350 people. And the dessert we provided could not have been more confusing! We brought in cheese cake and toppings. They were able to set up the whole thing! They were also very accommodating for the clean up. Thank you again Jerrica, Lily, and the whole staff for making my husband’s and my day stress free and beautiful.

I cannot recommend SCC enough. Jerrica and the team were so helpful through planning, setup, tear down, and everything in between. They made sure everything ran smoothly. We have recommended them to every couple we know getting married and I recommend them to anyone reading this review.

Jerrica and lily are the epitome of excellence! From the start of this process they were nothing but kind, easy to work with, and actually care about you as a couple, which can sometimes be hard to find in the wedding industry! They did everything we asked and then some. We cannot rave about them enough. They were always a quick phone call or email away and answered all my crazy last minute questions that come up as a bride. They made the process so easy and smooth for us to actually enjoy our wedding day. Some of my favorite things they did to make the process easy was: a food tasting to try all the foods before you pick them for the wedding! (The food was EXCELLENT and all our guests are still raving about it months later), having the ability to pick up our stuff Sunday or even Monday which helped us out a TON, and they helped so much with setup and tear down and really made our wedding weekend run smoothly. I truly believe that we had the best day possible because we went through the Scott conference center. I cannot recommend them enough, or thank them enough for everything they did to make our wedding day, our favorite day.

First of all I wanted to thank Jerrica and Lily for letting us host our event at the Scott conference center. They are tilt amazing they made every little detail off my wedding was perfect. They answered all the questions I had and were always so fast at getting back to me if I sent an email after hours. They made sure my event was stress free. They had set up every center piece just exactly how I wanted it. They were there to just support us every step of the way they made wedding planning so easy. They are truly amazing people to work with hands down.

Everything went well and smoothly. Solid work done by the staff and coordination was very good.

A huge shout out to the Scott Conference Center for providing an amazing space for our daughter's wedding reception. Jerrica and Lily helped bring our vision to life and everyone raved about how beautiful the rooms looked. They were extremely professional and were always available to answer our questions (and we had a lot of them!). They were prompt at returning emails and communication was great. They had a fantastic vendor list to help with everything we needed and even things we didn't know we needed to make the day be perfect. The property was clean and spacious, and we especially appreciated the ample close parking. The proximity to nearby hotels was also very important for our guests, allowing them to walk to the reception and to explore the Aksarben area. I have worked with Jerrica and she is indeed great to work with. Lily is a great addition. The team Jerrica, Lily and the chef Darrin are amazing. They worked to meet our unique needs especially for the unusual Nigerian Traditional wedding.

Our wedding day would not have been complete without the Scott Conference Center, Jerrica and Lily! Jerrica and Lily were so attentive, answered all our questions so fast, and made our vision come to life! We truly felt like we gained two new friends from our planning with them. WOW! What a fabulous Wedding Reception we had on May 4th at the Scott Conference Center! EVERYTHING was truly perfect and I would highly recommend having ANY event here. Jerrica & Lily and the entire staff...all AMAZING! They were on top of everything! They had the table decor, cocktail hour tables, the entire entry display and all details set up EXACTLY as my daughter wanted. NOTHING was left undone! The communication was fabulous, their attention to detail was so appreciated and they did it all with a smile and relaxed feel. So many of our guests complimented every aspect of the Reception and commented on the facility, professionalism, the friendliness of the staff, and the amazing bartenders! One of the most common positive feedback comments was regarding the food! It was truly amazing. Not at all the traditional bland, cold, blah buffet spread. The food was absolutely delicious, it was hot, constantly replenished, and the plates were cleaned up quickly. Our guests, family, and the bridal party shared that this was truly one of the best receptions they had attended! THANK YOU VERY MUCH to the entire Scott Conference Center for an incredible experience, amazing service, reasonable pricing, and allowing such fabulous memories to be made by everyone...especially the Bride & Groom. Again, HIGHLY recommend the venue!

Absolutely recommend! They are the most amazing people I have ever met! You can tell they have a passion for their job when they helped us first start our booking, I honestly had the best time planning my wedding through them because they made it fun, not stressful. The wedding packages they have are amazingly priced and doable. The food is also to die for! My husband and I both agreed that we want to renew our vows even sooner then planned so we can go with SCC again

This was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! The staff (we worked closely with Jerrica) were extremely helpful in our planning process as well as with the setup on the day of our wedding, leaving all our guests with time to enjoy the day and not worry about getting decorations put together. We also received countless compliments on our catering and food options. We would recommend the Scott Center to anyone for their venue!

If you are looking for an urban venue with a more modern feel in Omaha this is your place! We had our wedding reception here with Jerica as our reception coordinator and it was nothing short of amazing. They prepared our reception for us even better than we imagined it. The staff here handled everything a couple might worry about, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. I lost count of the number of rave reviews for how good the food was. They also have an alcohol vendor that does inventory buy back of anything unused which took away the anxiety of ordering too much. Our guests loved having fun places nearby in Aksarben to go to in between the ceremony and reception and were able to have a stress-free fun time because their hotels were a short walk away. The Scott Center really checks all the boxes for an Omaha wedding.

We got so many comments from our guests that the Scott Center looked so beautiful and everything ran so smoothly! And it did. What the guests didn't know was that we couldn't have done it without the help of the Scott Center staff, esp. Jerrica and Robyn. Thanks ladies for all of your help! You really smoothed out the last few weeks for us and made the wedding day run easily too!

Jerrica and Robyn at SCC are THE most amazing women to work with! They were extremely fun, professional, timely, organized, and super knowledgeable about all things weddings and all things SCC! They knew our day inside and out and took the time to get to know us and our families! We could not recommend them more! The atmosphere, the food, the bar - it was all TOP NOTCH! We absolutely loved planning our big day at SCC! It truly is the best place to have a wedding in Omaha!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Scott's Conference Center and we couldn't be more pleased. Jerrica and Robyn are AMAZING!! They were very helpful throughout the whole process. They are very personable, accommodating, and extremely helpful. We felt they went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. They kept in contact through the whole process and they helped make sure everything went smooth on our big day. It was so fantastic because they handle the set up for both the ceremony and reception, all the clean up, and coordinated with our other vendors. They helped make the planning process so less stressful which was great. The food was AMAZING! We received so many compliments on the delicious food, which we chose a buffet style dinner. We would highly recommend them!! We are so glad we chose them over all the other venues we looked at.

Robyn & Jerrica were the absolute best!! My husband and I moved right before we got engaged, so we had to do all of our planning from afar and these gals were SO helpful! They truly were the most important part of our wedding planning and helped everything go so smoothly. Being states away while planning, I had a lot of questions and they never made me feel like a burden, always eager to help. It is evident that they enjoy what they do, which I could not say for every vendor I worked with. Thank you ladies so much!!

The Scott Conference Center and staff were absolutely AMAZING!! They were very patient with us, helped us plan, and went above and beyond. They were amazing with helping set up and take down. Other venues were not as helpful or flexible. Jerrica and staff were so kind and helped keep me calm when it felt like I had a lot to do-they did it all! The reception space was perfect for over 300 people and the dance floor was plenty big. I can not thank them enough for all their help in making our day so special. I would highly recommend the Scott conference center for a wedding reception. They have great service and affordable!

They made the process so easy and helped fill planning gaps when needed. The entire team at the Scott Conference Center was so helpful on the day before and the day of the wedding as well. I cannot recommend The Scott Conference Center enough! My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the Scott center this past weekend and had a phenomenal experience! Megan and Robin (our coordinators) were incredibly helpful, polite, and so incredibly easy to work with. And the food OMG delicious. My husband and I had several people tell us, "that's the best food I've ever had at a wedding." Book the Scott Center for your wedding you won't regret it!

Scott Conference Center is the most wonderful vendor to work with! Great with communication and so willing to make your wants/desires possible. We got married in November and used Scott Conference Center for our venue. They were so easy to work with and so kind to let us literally transform the space to make our dreams and visions come to life. All the staff was very courteous and on the ball in regards to timeliness and running the reception smoothly. The food here is GREAT too which is an added bonus. We had 450 people and they got everyone through the lines in 20 minutes!! 10/10 recommend. Thank you!!

Absolutely amazing to work with! Megan came in part-way through the planning process and the transition was absolutely seamless. Throughout the entire planning, she responded quickly to emails, answered all of my questions, and most importantly, settled any of my concerns. In the days leading up to and the day of the wedding, she had everything lined up and ready to go. The staff was fantastic and made the day so special! We didn’t have to worry about a single thing the day of the wedding, which is a huge plus! The decor was beautiful and the atmosphere exactly what we were envisioning, and so much more. The food served was delicious and I was told so from many, many guests. Even the kids’ meals were good and the kids ate practically everything on their plates! Even though we had a buffet-style dinner, the kids’ meals were plated and delivered, which was a very nice touch. Overall, it was amazing and I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family! They 100% earned their top ratings from The Knot.

The pictures do not really reveal the beauty of this venue. We were amazed at how stunning it was when we walked in. The staff was very easy to work with, and attentive. The space itself was conducive to the crowd; the area for cocktails provided space for people to gather and talk if they wanted to get away from the dance floor. Scott Conference Center was great! They really helped us when we had to switch venues. They bent over backwards to make sure we were confident in our decision to change locations. They fit our 370 guest count with room to spare! They even worked out a new seasoning on the steak just for us! Their staff is efficient and professional. They create a layout of the room and help coordinate all the details that are perfect for your reception. They are definitely a great organized venue who really want to make your day the best!

Scott Conference Center was perfect for our wedding. Samantha and the staff were exceptional and communicated in a timely manner. They set up, took down and made sure everything ran smoothly. When it came to synchronizing the vendors with the SCC, there was not a hiccup. I did not have to worry about a thing on the day of wedding. The space was beyond what was expected! There was enough room for anything we could think of having. Big bonus was parking across the street along with hotels near by made it more accommodating for out of town guests.

Perfect venue for my daughters wedding. Felt right walking in on first look and staff was easy to work with and answered all our questions. Details laid out nicely so you know cost for everything up front. Food is amazing, 1316 Jones Beverage great to work with, clean, spacious, and great staff. Located across the street from Marriot for out of town guests. We really loved the Scott Conference for our wedding!

I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. From the beginning of our planning with the coordinator to the end they were helpful, honest, and on top of everything! They made sure things were planned out effectively and followed through. The food was absolutely amazing. I have the pleasure of going to times before the wedding to taste the food then at the wedding was served the same amazing quality. Samantha made sure everything was put out for decorations and they looked beautiful. They also were very good at contacting me and me getting in touch with them. They made sure the day was perfect. I would not recommend a better venue.

Having our wedding reception at the Scott Center was truly the best decision we could have made. Working with Samantha made for an easy and carefree day when it came to decorations, food, and lighting. We had a few requests for the day, we wanted to play a video during dinner that we had created prior to the wedding day and it played exactly when we wanted it to- it was displayed on all 6 screens and the sound was loud enough for everyone to hear. I also wanted a few items displayed throughout the venue as well as bathroom baskets with toiletries and Samantha went to work to ensure both of those things got done. Let’s talk about the food for a minute... wow! We chose to do appetizers, dinner, as well as a late night snack. We had chips with guacamole, queso, and salsa as well as a variety of wings for appetizers. My husband and I did not get to try the appetizers since we weren’t at the venue yet, but our guests said the guacamole and wings were amazing. For dinner we had herb chicken (highly recommend) and flank steak (absolutely delicious)! All in all, the reception went off without a hitch (as far as I know, which I’m okay with). Samantha is wonderful to work with. She is very laid back, easy going, and does what she says she will do for you. We are very impressed with our choice and wish we could go back and do it again!! Maybe in 10 years. Thanks for everything Scott Center and Samantha!!!

The Scott Conference Center was amazing. We couldn't have asked for better! Sam, the coordinator we worked with, made the planning really easy, and we received a lot of compliments on the food. The night ran so smoothly; I didn't have to worry about a thing. It was fantastic. Notably, the beverage catering company they contract with was equally fantastic, and working with the Marriott across the street was ideal for us. All in all, the Scott Conference Center knew exactly what they were doing, were kind and competent individuals to work with, and held a beautiful reception for us. I would absolutely choose them again.
