Lurie, the owner, was such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. She made everything easy and stress-free, which is all you can hope for during wedding planning. She was responsive, thoughtful, and clearly cares deeply about her work and her clients. On the day of, her team handled everything smoothly so we didn’t have to think about a thing — just enjoy.
If you’re planning a coastal New England wedding (or just want incredible food and service), I can’t recommend Seacoast Catering enough. They made our day feel special in every way.

ther estimates during the planning stages, despite asking a few times. The catering at the wedding was very good, food was delicious. However, the waitstaff would constantly clear full drinks from tables as guests were on the dance floor, which was mentioned to me by many guests. A day or two after the wedding, we received a bill which was almost twice the amount we had previously discussed. We were very surprised and the bride was very upset after such a great day. We were then met with somewhat hostile and very unprofessional emails in response to our questions.
There were pros and there were cons about Seacoast catering. The pros were: the food was very tasty, the wait staff was very friendly and attentive, everyone arrived on time.

cons were interacting with Lurie. In the beginning she seemed like she was very organized and attentive but as the wedding started getting closer her communication rapidly declined. We received short responses that were impossible to decipher based on the grammar and spelling and then the day before our wedding she casually told us she wasn’t feeling well and wouldn’t be able to come and that she would send her catering captain in her place. Mind you she had also agreed to help with our day of wedding coordination so having her not show up last minute was pretty stressful. Not to mention that when asked to confirm that she wouldn’t be present she said she had a “hectic week coming up with a 300 person wedding” so basically we read that as the other wedding being more important than ours. Overall I would say that she probably overbooks herself.
In addition, the final bill we received exceeded the quote we received. The labor costs was $2K above the original quote which was a bit off putting and when we asked about why it increased so much, her response was rude as if we were not allowed to question the inflated final cost.
In the end, we were on cloud 9 as newly weds but if we could go back, we might reconsider hiring this company.
