schedule our nuptials 2x due to the pandemic which he was very accommodating about. Fast forward to January 2022—we received an email stating he could no longer provide any of the services he promised as a family member of his was getting married on the same date as we were (6/25/2022) and he needed to be available for that. So, not only did he leave us high and dry without a DJ for our wedding but he has yet to repay his full fee of $1700+. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE!

I hired Bill to DJ my wedding because he was local, responded to my inquiry very quickly, was reasonably priced, and seemed like a fun person. I hired him months before my wedding. Two months before the wedding, I attempted to put in all of our...

song requests. This was challenging due to some issues with the portal he set up and required several emails back and forth. I had to initiate the meeting to discuss all the details regarding the details and playlist, which ended up being scheduled via zoom about one week prior to the wedding. This meeting was about two hours long. The next day I submitted all of our playlists for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. All of which were complete with enough songs to last the entire event. The day before my wedding, Bill sent a rude email to my wedding coordinator complaining about lack of communication and the fact that he was unaware he needed insurance. He then sent a text to my husband and I saying "I hope you don't take offense to the email I sent". It was awkward between Bill and my coordinator on the day of the wedding, which is not ideal. The ceremony: the music did not work, the microphones did not work either. The reception: music cut in and out, almost none of our requested songs on our playlist were played, and Bill called me by the wrong name over the speaker. The day after the wedding my husband sent Bill a text to let him know our disappointments above. Below is a copy of the text that we received in response: "Thank you for the feedback. I did my best given the amount of songs that were provided in adcanve and tried to be flexible with the changing itinerary throughout the day (there were no changes). I made some notes that I will be happy to share with you when I have a moment back at the office. There was not a segment of the wedding that went according to that itinerary I had planned with your wife. The last minute requests I was able to play even though there wasn't WIFI at the ceremony. Your wedding coordinator placed the DJ table at the bottom of the hill at the bottom of the dance floor, all things I took in stride. Typically I have the songs provided by the bride and groom who work on them together four weeks or so in advance and not 10 days. Im sorry that you are not fully satisfied. I will be sure to ask all future clients whether they have a wedding planner or not because it has a tremendous impact on the flow and overall quality." I was extremely disappointed with his response and his refusal to take any responsibility. Overall, I was just disappointed with how it all turned out. My wedding was absolutely beautiful and everyone still had fun but this DJ experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

one rack during Dan’s song request for Doses and Mimosas when the frat boys took their shirts off! Remember that? It was funny for a second. The ceremony was beautiful in the apple orchard. It was bad that guests were late and dinner ran an hour late and that Elise put the dance floor and dj table on a hill. Your wedding planner Elise absolutely did have me making changes to the itinerary you and I confirmed during the zoom meeting. If Dan and Elise worked as hard as me this review would say 4.5 to 5 stars.

and saw Bill during a set, with his whole set up. The quality of the sound was incredible and we could tell he was super talented. We got his card and emailed him a couple days later. Had a Zoom call, and we were sold! Bill makes the whole process so easy and relaxed, he has a website where we can select the songs we want and even the songs we definitely don't want. He really took the time to ask us what we wanted on our day and didn't pressure us into doing anything we didn't want just because "we had to". My husband and I are pretty chill people and didn't want anything that was too much, and that is exactly what Bill delivered! Everyone had a blast and we heard great things even from our vendors about him. I could not be more grateful to have walked into Nordstrom that day! ch a positive attitude - he made the process fun when it often times was incredibly stressful. We met with Bill on several occasions via Zoom to go over the day, make song selections, and ensure that each song was the perfect fit for each moment. Bill has a terrific website where you can map out your day and music choices. He provided guidance around things we were unsure of regarding wedding day timelines and song suggestions. Bill went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect, down to each detail. Bill made our experience fun, light, and really took an interest to ensure my husband and I were having the best time possible. Bill helped us get the party started and created an atmosphere that nobody wanted to leave. Bill's energy is contagious and anyone that spoke with him on the wedding day commented on how wonderful he is. Similarly I had countless people come up to me to say the music was going perfectly with the evening (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing). Without Bill, our wedding would not have been the incredible day that it was. d work with! We met a few times face to face- once in the beginning of the planning process and once at the end. But he was more than happy to meet with us more if we wanted to. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of our options. During the planning process he was also available via text and email and always got back to me in a timely manner. We were unsure about a lot of our song choices or what style of music to choose for certain times and he helped to guide us to make great decisions and song choices. He used examples from previous weddings and that was very helpful in making our decisions. The ceremony and reception were amazing and we have Bill to thank for that! Everything went smoothly as planned. I even texted him the night before the wedding and the morning of with last minute requests and he was right on top of it and happy to do it! He really made our wedding awesome and our guests had an amazing time dancing- all night! We received so many compliments on what a great job he did as DJ. He was friendly to our guests and welcomed song requests, while also respecting any “do not play” songs we had listed. Bill has been in the business a long time and he really knows his stuff. From the ceremony to the reception, Bill executed everything flawlessly and very professionally. Leading up to the wedding, we knew the music was not something we would have to worry about because we were so confident in him. We had to make some last minute changes, and Bill was very accommodating to those as well. His website was very helpful, as it lets you track payments and create a playlist. At the wedding, Bill balanced the requests we had perfectly with music that got people of all age groups on the dance floor. As an MC, he did a phenomenal job introducing the wedding party, as well as sensing the right time to transition between different genres of music. After the wedding we received compliments from multiple friends and family members regarding the music. After meeting with Bill initially, we could see how passionate he is about what he does and that shined through at the wedding. We always try to support local business rather than large companies, but Bill exceeded the expectations we could have had for any DJ. He balances very competitive prices with exceptional service. I love music and enjoy listening to different genres, which is what got me into DJing and ultimately event services. I'm passionate about weddings because my services accentuate the Bride & Groom's style throughout the wedding celebration. With their input, I help create a unique itinerary and music list to ensure their experience is tailored to their unique style and expectations. I use beat matching and harmonic mixing techniques to blend songs in a cohesive way that people love. I bought my first pair of turntables in 1999 when I was 14. In my spare time, I coach a soccer team and travel.
