I had my wedding reception at Seafood World Restaurant following my ceremony. Meeting Ann and going through the planning for the reception was such an easy process. Ann is a seasoned professional in the catering / event planning business and not only shares so much experiential knowledge, but was so open to hearing my ideas and working with me on them. The food was delicious, guests raved about the food and took home leftovers. I most appreciated that I didn’t have to worry about how the reception would be set up and making sure dinner service and reception program run smoothly the day-of. Ann was on top of it and still interacted with me throughout the night, making sure I ate and guests were taken care of. Seafood World is well connected with vendors in the nearby/OC area, so it was also easy coordinating with the other vendors too when setting up the reception at the restaurant before the event start. Overall, Seafood World is top notch with food quality, service, and coordinating. Thank you Ann and the Seafood World staff!

Anne and the rest of the Seafood World catering team are the best! Communication and everything from the beginning was very easy, clear, and they were just a pleasure to work with. On the day of the wedding, all of my guests were served with hot and delicious appetizers and dinner at Rancho Los Cerritos in Long Beach. Seafood World took care of appetizers during the happy hour as well as the dinner during reception. I was worried about finding A caterer for the type of food that we wanted because of our venue, being historic site and having strict rules. Seafood World worked with them and had a mobile kitchen and exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I was really looking forward to working with women owned Asian business, especially with all her accolades and reviews. Communication was/is extremely poor. Maybe if the information was already on their website, you'd get less messages about quotes and filter through those who actually wanna book.

We were so lucky have Ann from Seafood World as one of our vendors for our NYE wedding. She is extremely detail oriented and made sure that the food and table set up was executed to perfection! She went beyond her duties by checking on us throughout the night and made sure we were fed so that we could last the entire night. The food was also incredible. If y’all need a caterer to provide Chinese banquet food at your event, book them!! We also had guests from Asia compliment how good their dim sum hors d'oeuvres were.

This is a long overdue review of Seafood World.. I'm so sorry, Ann! One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was hiring Ann and her superb team to cater my wedding. First if all, her food was delicious! And every dish came out hot and beautifully plated. My guests are still raving about her food, 8 months later! Ann is all about her clients.. she was always there to answer any questions I had, no matter how random or crazy. She really goes all out to make your dreams come true. no joke. She is in your corner! In addition to Ann's awesomeness, her staff was efficient, professional and super friendly.. I really couldn't ask for more. Please don't waste your time with anyone else and go with Ann.. you won't regret it! We love you, Ann!

We held my parents 50th wedding party here and couldn’t be happier with how everything went . The indoor space was large, yet intimate and already beautifully decorated. The owner/ manager Ann was very professional, easy to work with and made my family and friends feel very welcome. The food was delicious and definitely a crowd pleaser. All our expectations were met and then some!

I had my wedding and FOOD is #1 on the list of priorities!. Seafood world catering, if you want that good homecooked Chinese/Asian lazy suzy vibes, this is where to get it! Food was just delicious and every guest wanted to find the restaurant to go there themselves for lunch or dinner. My favorite items were the honey walnut shrimp and peking duck, hor deuores, however you spell that haha, dim sum, oh yes please give me SUM MORE! again everyone and their mama, papa, sister, friend, brother, loved it! thank you so much for helping us have a memorable cherished wedding! Ten year anniversary, rebook!

Working with Ann was amazing! We knew we wanted an 8-course Asian menu, and Seafood World knocked it out of the park. They have various menu sets to choose from at different price points. They also offer dim sum appetizers, which were definitely a hit and sooo tasty! I am so happy we went with Seafood World. Beyond the food, which was great, Ann really took care of us during the planning process and the actual wedding. I had to reschedule my wedding due to a serious health event in my family, and Ann was so accommodating with the schedule change (no additional fees incurred). And on the day of, Ann made sure we had some appetizers waiting for us after the ceremony and packed all of our dinner for us that we didn't get to eat and take home. Do yourself a favor and hire Seafood World!

Overall working with Seafood World was fine, but not great. The food itself was good, however other aspects of working with Seafood World were lacking. Communication with Ann while trying to plan the wedding was difficult and she was overall difficult to reach. A few weeks before the wedding she told me she would not be present at the wedding as she took on another job as a day of coordinator for extra money, however her father would be there to take over and she would be available by phone. I believe that because of this switch some of the things I requested for the table set up were done incorrectly with poor attention to detail. Details of course matter a great deal when planning a wedding! The food came out, however out of order, and I'm not entirely sure all the tables got all the food we ordered. After the wedding I tried to contact Ann about the things that we weren't completely satisfied with and she has not responded to a single message or phone call. So the food was good, however the experience working with them overall was just ok and there were aspects that could have been better.

Ann and her team were fantastic start to finish and made our wedding memorable and delicious! We were looking for Chinese banquet style food for our wedding and it was surprisingly hard to find a caterer that was great at communication and had amazing food. From our first meeting and tasting with Ann we knew they were the one. She was patient in answering all of our questions and went the extra mile (literally) to meet our venue coordinator and be there for the vendor walk through. Ann is a wonderful energy and really treats your wedding like a priority. She's the ultimate hype woman and someone you're glad to have in your corner. Cherry on top is all of our guests RAVED about the dim sum appetizers and course meal. We couldn't be happier that we went with Seafood World!

We used Seafood World as our caterer for our wedding and I can't thank them and Ann enough. She helped me customize a 5 course meal for our wedding and was so helpful with all the questions I had (and I had A LOT of questions)! I first heard about Seafood World Catering through the Knot vendor recommendations and was later advised by my wedding planner to book them for my wedding. My husband's parents were skeptical of hiring a catering service since their whole family has always had traditional Asian weddings at restaurants where they knew the food would be prepared fresh in the kitchen and not microwaved. In meeting with Ann from Seafood World Catering, she let us know that all of our food would be prepared on site in their food trucks outside our venue. She was also able to let us change items on the pre-set menu options available for an 8-course meal to better cater to our guests' tastes. Ann was always responsive via text throughout the planning stages and she did not disappoint on our wedding day. All of our guests loved the food, especially our older guests. It seems like everyone raved about the dim sum appetizers during cocktail hour and the lobster and bo luc lac during reception. Ann also made sure my husband and I were eating too throughout our wedding so we didn't go hungry running around. Overall, the whole experience from planning to wedding day went so smoothly I would book Seafood World Catering again in a heartbeat for any future catering events!

I absolutely loved working with Seafood World. Their manager, Ann, is an angel and a joy to work with. She will make sure that all of your expectations are exceeded and continue to go beyond that. All of our guests, especially our older Asian family members, raved about the food and were extremely happy that we decided to cater the traditional Chinese 7-course meal. The food was beyond delicious, but truthfully, what makes Seafood World so special are the people running things behind the scenes. Ann and her team made sure everything was perfect for our wedding day, from the food and table settings all the way down to the napkins. They are extremely detail-oriented and were so accommodating. I would recommend them over and over again. Seafood World will not disappoint!!

My wedding was perfect. They were super attentive and very organized. I did not worry about one thing during my wedding. Please be sure to pick the correct number of tables. A lot of people cancelled last minute due to covid. They give back credit with the same set menu; no refund.

I met Ann through the knot when we got ourselves into a predicament where our venue wouldn't allow any cooking on site unless it’s from a food truck. Ann and her team is the only restaurant in SoCal that had the resources to cater a full Chinese/Vietnamese traditional multi course wedding reception that worked within our venues requirements. We met with her a few times as we got closer and she was always a joy to work with. We just had our special day this past weekend for 250 guest and the food service from seafood world was timely and delicious. Ann was constantly checking in with us as well as keeping an eye out on more than just food. She gave us recommendations for lighting among other things that helped create such a amazing experience for all guests. I highly recommend Ann for your catering needs.

We hired Seafood World to cater my wedding. It was offsite and I was very nervous about the food being served cold because my event was outdoor. However, seafood world exceeded my expectations. I’m so happy my friends and family enjoyed the food. Ann is so nice and accommodating as well!

My sister got married this year at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach CA on Nov 7th, 2021. The venue is ran by the city of Huntington Beach so we had to execute and do everything from ground zero. We were super nervous about the catering part of the wedding for three reasons: 1. Our picky parents 2. Catering has to cook and serve offsite is tricky! 3. Serving the food hot (the venue is outdoor and freezing in November) My family, specially my dad and all of his friends enjoyed every dish Seafood World served! The dim sum that were served during cocktail hour was delicious and plenty! I even overheard some guests saying “I can just eat these dim sum and drink wine — go home happy and full!” The execution and planning by Ann was flawless. Additionally, she helped me (the planner and coordinator) tighten up some last minute details for the wedding. With her thoughtful advice, I was able to execute this wedding without any hiccups. I 100% recommend Seafood World!

You really cannot say enough good things about Seafood World. Sometimes we go back and forth about our favorite things about you guys/gals and it's honestly a toss up. But we digress, some points below.. First, and foremost, food was absolutely sensational. The menu was catered to our tastes and boy, did it deliver. One of Roman's groomsmen said, "dude it's been so long since I've had good Asian food...and the last time I had jellyfish was with my fam...before quarantine." We got so many great comments. "feast was tremendous," "best wedding food I've had, hands down. It was so much better than my brother's wedding last week, where we had meh chicken, meh beef, meh veggies." To hear that was an absolute delight. Ann - we're coming back every year to eat that same spread, just to let you know, and we know this isn't yelp, but you're gonna be seeing us a whole lot during dim sum Sundays! Professionalism - Ann, it was such a pleasure to work with you. Straightforward, respsonsive, ORGANIZED, easy to talk to, get's stuff done. We would pick you and the team 10/10 times, every time. Hope to call you up again for our next big event! Service - Perfect pacing through courses. We got a chance to do table visits WITHOUT servers getting in the way. Keep it up! Price - Can't be beat. Clearly we won't divulge $ here, but please set up a chat with Ann to talk menu and we promise, you will be pleasantly surprised at what you can get for your budget.

We were just married and had our reception at Seafood World in Westminster, CA in June. We couldn't be happier with how everything went! First, the manger was the best to work with (Ann), she was easygoing and professional from the start, and made us and our whole crew feel very welcome. Food was amazing (7 seafood course Asian style course), service even better but nothing beats the ambiance (beautiful flower decorations throughout). All our expectations were met and then some. We highly recommend this venue.

I have been to several weddings and when it was my turn to pick a catering vendor to satisfy both my finance’s and my family appetite -I knew to go to Seafood World! I appreciated that Director of Catering, Ann Cong, paid attention to details and made the planning process an easy and positive experience. I wish I can give them 10 stars because every year, on our wedding anniversary, different guests from my wedding mention how much they enjoyed the food and presentation.

During our initial wedding planning phase, my fiancé and I were assessing through a list of food caterers that offered a good quality and variety of Asian cuisine to be cooked on site at our venue in downtown LA. Upon speaking with the Director of Catering Events (Ann) along with our wedding planner, we knew that she was experienced in handling wedding food catering as she offered us a selection of food choices and gave us the flexibility to customize our wedding menu to our preferences. Working alongside with Ann gave us a sense of security throughout the wedding process as we learned that she is meticulous in the little details, such as assessing the total number of guests to serve, logistics of cocktail hour (Hors d'oeuvre) as we selected some Dim Sum dish appetizers and the timing between dishes during reception to be served, as we have an 8 course meal for the guests. Overall, the Seafood World team has done an amazing job providing top-not quality food at our wedding and exceeded our expectations! Knowing that our friends and families had enjoyed a great time during our big day, especially accompanied with incredible food made it a truly memorable experience for our wedding night. Although I have thanked Ann and her team for an exceptional service that they have offered, I think that I can sincerely express my gratitude in sharing my personal experience partnering up with the Seafood World restaurant to make your celebration events unforgettable.

Ann Cong and the Seafood World team were amazing. We had to changed wedding plans due to Covid, and they were so accommodating. Their team were wonderful at the wedding. Everyone loved the appetizers. Our family and friends said it came out hot and tasted delicious. Seafood World did an amazing job plating each course individually and everyone were happy with the food! My husband and I would recommend Seafood World since they do off site catering. I’ve been to a few weddings that Seafood World has catered for and I’ve eaten at their restaurant a number of times, so when we got engaged I already knew I wanted to ask them to cater for our wedding. Ann was amazing throughout the whole process and exceeded all expectations. She was professional, quick to respond, and so easy to communicate with. She really went above and beyond with helping me with the planning. The quality of their food and service was excellent, we got so many compliments from our family and friends on how much they enjoyed the food. I’m so happy we chose them as our caterer and would definitely recommend them to others.

When our booking our caterer, we were looking for a few things: great Asian food, generous portions and great client services. Ann and her Seafood World team delivered all of that and more. Ann was so easy to work with throughout the process. She clearly presented their available packages and took the time to note and customize the items we chose from our tasting. On our wedding day, Ann constantly made sure we were fed. We had a delicious plate of dim sum ready for us post-ceremony and our dinner courses were dropped quickly, ensuring we had time to eat before the remaining festivities. Ann even made sure to send us home with plenty of leftover dinner and lots of cake, which was much appreciated after a long day. There is a reason why my family has frequented Seafood World for the past 25 years: great food and amazing service. When I was young, my parents regularly took me to eat the delicious food that Seafood World has to offer. My family has taken out-of-town relatives and family friends to this wonderful restaurant for banquets and parties over the years because the food and service make us feel like we’re eating with family. When it was time to pick a wedding caterer, the choice was obvious. Ann was extremely accommodating and patient with us during the entire process, checking in regularly and making sure that every aspect of our eight-course meal was to our liking. On the day of the wedding, Ann treated us like family, bringing out food for me and my wife immediately and ensuring that we ate before attending the night’s festivities. She proactively packed any food brought out to us that we couldn’t touch so that we could feast on the leftovers. I am so grateful that we got to work with Ann and her amazing team, and our guests were delighted with the quality of the food and service. I would book Seafood World again in a heartbeat!

We highly recommend booking Seafood World Catering for your wedding! We choose Seafood World because we enjoy the food at the restaurant (my family has been going there since I was a kid) and we knew our family would enjoy it at the wedding (and they did). Guests told us it was some of the best food they ever had. Beyond the delicious food, the staff went above and beyond to make the day special and perfect. They coordinated smoothly with our wedding planning team and other vendors throughout the day and set up all the tables and took everything down within the constraints of our venue. Ann Cong was integral in making the day a success. She was responsive and helpful throughout the planning process even though we took a while to finalize our catering order. On the day of our wedding, she brought us food throughout the day because she knew, as the bride and groom, we wouldn’t get much time to eat. She brought us a serving of everything from all the courses to our sweetheart table in the short amount of time we had sitting down before we had to tend to other bride and groom duties (she even packed us leftovers so we could have our own little feast after the wedding). She snapped photos of the wedding highlights (e.g., first dance) and decorations on her phone and she handed us her phone so we could take a few selfies because she knew we wouldn’t get a chance to on our own and she sent us all the photos the next day. It was a great experience and if we had to do it all over again, we would definitely book Seafood World Catering again in a heartbeat!

Ann Cong and Seafood World were amazing. Everyone loved the appetizers and all the courses (especially the shaken beef), they were great with accommodating our guests with allergies, and we didn't have to worry about anything on our wedding day. Would highly recommend without any hesitations!

My husband and I picked the Seafood World as the carter for our wedding because of their presentation, food quality, and professionalism. My family and I experienced the food tasting and everyone loved it. We made minor tweaks with some things on the dish, but it wasn't anything Ann couldn't manage. Pricing was reasonable and fair. Ann did a great job to meet our needs. She always made sure to put the bride and groom's needs first because we all know how controlling other family members can be. I enjoyed working with Ann, she was patient, kind, and detailed oriented. She was there for us from the beginning to the night of our wedding. The only feedback I had from a few of my guests was that the food was not hot enough. Ann was able to accommodate vegetarians and other specific needs if you have them.

Seafood World is without a doubt the best choice you can go with for catering! My husband and I tried 3 different options when we were looking for offsite catering for our venue in San Diego and once we tried Seafood World is was no question that we would go with them. The food was amazing and, from the beginning of our interactions with Ann, she was always so great to work with, very responsive, flexible and super accommodating. We actually went up a total of 2 times to try the food, the first time for my husband and I to try and the the second time we brought both our families. My husband's family owns a fast casual Chinese food restaurant so you know they are going to be tough critics when it comes to Chinese food and even they had nothing but good things to say about the food. And the food at our wedding was just as delicious and fresh as when we tried it in the restaurant. I think the best compliment we received from a guest was that they forgot that they were even at another venue and it felt like they were just at a Chinese restaurant. That's how fresh and amazing the food was! Literally no one had a bad thing to say about the food! Not to mention, this was Seafood World's first time catering at our venue and we also ended up having to move our dinner time up by an hour, but Ann had everything under control and everything went off without a hitch. From the food to the service, we are so grateful to have had Ann and her team at Seafood World as part of our wedding vendors.

Seafood World was great and we're happy we went with them. Anh, aside from the house-special lobster, was probably one of my favorite parts about the experience . She was responsive by email and was very to-the-point about everything. We got married at the Loft in Long Beach. It was a Vietnamese x American wedding and our biggest concern was the fusion of our families. So we went with the Chinese/Vietnamese food from Seafood World for the main course but wanted to integrate some lighter american foods into the appetizer so that everyone could be accommodated. Its's hard mixing vendors but Ann supported anything I wanted. I got our appetizers from another vendor that only delivered the food and Ann and her staff helped to prepare it, buss it and clean it up. It was exactly what I wanted. She also worked in gluten free soy sauce so that my gluten free guests could have some more traditional options as well. Highly recommended!

Seafood World was the best caterer and I am glad that we chose them to cater our food for our wedding. Everyone was asking us where we catered our food from and until today my husband and I still get texts and calls from people from our wedding asking who catered our food. Not only the food was great but the service was excellent. Seafood World was very accommodating and made all our requests possible.

Words alone don't do enough justice. My husband and I used seafood world for our caterer for 2 reasons - 1) they've catered at our wedding venue and know the ins and outs and 2) Ann Cong. She runs a tight shift and it shows. Ann was chill and matter of fact during our first couple meetings - she must have been through this hundreds of time. She detailed out every point we needed to know so we rarely had to ask questions. She gave her recommendations and we were skeptical initially (Im a little particular), but are sooo happy we went with her recommendations because she's been through so many weddings and is able to anticipate how the outcome will turn out. So if Ann recommends it, go for it and you won't be disappointed. We actually didn't go with her recommendation on appetizers for cocktail hour, we compromised and got more food than we initially wanted but not what she recommended. In hindsight, she was right and we should have ordered more, our guests mentioned that they ran out. As our wedding approached, Ann helped us through potential vendor issues, personal issues, anticipated issues, you name it - she can do it all! A month before our wedding we were semi freaking out. My husband had horrible eczema flare ups where his skin was sloughing off of his hand - no joke. Ann was such a sweetheart, instead of being grossed out, she sympathized. We talked at length to see what we could do in a months time, she recommended acupuncture, gave us info, gave us some eczema cream and offered us more. We can't thank her enough for this. I can go on but really, Ann is an expert in her field. Trust her and have faith in her recommendations. Our wedding vendors were all amazing, but Ann holds a special place in our hearts for the empathy she held with our eczema issue. Our wedding reception was fabulous and our guests loved all the food they were served. Everything was smooth from our end for the whole night, our only regret is not having enough time to eat. But I hear it's the norm hahaha.

Going with Seafood World for our venue and food was one of the best decisions we made for our reception. First the place is very well decorated already so just some additional uplights and flower centerpieces made it wedding-worthy. Second the planning staff (Kim and Ann) were amazingly helpful with answering all of questions and helping fulfill our requests where they could. Visiting in person and discussing over email were both easy (this was important as we had to plan this from out of town). Third, on the night of the event, they had people on site to help with some of the day of coordination, which improved our guests’ experience. Me and my wife are very very happy with Seafood World!

Seafood World was without question the BEST vendor we worked with during our wedding! Organizing a wedding is not an easy feat but making sure that you have the right vendors to support you is key. The catering manager Ann is such a dream to work with! Our wedding venue was at Soka University in Orange County and Seafood World executed their menu perfectly. Ann is an absolute professional and goes above and beyond for her clients. From start to finish, Seafood World made the process of selecting our wedding menu incredibly easy. Ann presents her clients with a wide variety of food options which can be customizable based on your preference. During the day of the wedding, she is incredibly attentive to detail and kept in constant communication with me. I couldn’t thank Ann enough for being such a huge support during our day. Still to this day our friends and family continue to rave about how delicious the food was at our wedding! Thank you so much for being a part of our memorial event day!

Seafood World was 100% one of the most valuable vendors we worked with. With a Vietnamese-Chinese wedding, food was key. From the initial contact, to menu selection, to payment - everything was easy and organized. Their team travelled to San Diego for our wedding and everything went off without a hitch. The table setting was beautiful, the food came out on time, and everything tasted great. We really commend Ann and the Seafood World team for executing so well. Just one example of Ann going above and beyond, she had a plate of appetizers ready for us as soon as the ceremony was over so that we can have first dibs on the food. We really appreciate Seafood World and are very happy with our decision to have them a part of our big day!

My husband and I had a great experience working with Ann and Seafood World! We are both Vietnamese so it was extremely important to our parents to have Asian food at our wedding, so we were happy when we saw that Seafood World was on the preferred vendor list for our venue. Upon meeting Ann for the first time with all our catering questions, we realized how experienced she was within the wedding industry that we hired her immediately as our day of coordinator as well. Throughout the whole process, she answered all of our questions and made herself available whenever we needed to go over anything. Although Seafood World has set menus you can choose from, you can still switch menu items to your personal preference. For example, we switched the duck for the shaken beef, which ended up being my favorite dish of the evening! There is a reason Seafood World is at the top of the catering game. The food came out hot and fresh and in a timely manner. Set up and clean up was quick and efficient and everyone was happy with the food! Hiring Ann as our coordinator was also one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She’s kind, professional, and extremely helpful. I’m the kind of person that likes to be in control and go over every detail and Ann was patient enough to answer all of my questions and concerns. She is highly organized as well and likes to triple check everything to make sure everything is in order. Ann made sure we were taken care of the whole day and had everything covered so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Ann played a crucial part in making sure our wedding day ran smoothly and perfectly. We don’t know what we would have done without her and highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator!

Ann the Director of Seafood World Catering was and is amazing. Met up with her a couple times when she was in Las Vegas for a wedding convention. Not only did she answer all my questions in detail, she took some stress off our shoulders. She was very reassuring. Seafood World Catering was there at our wedding on time with the staff ready to work. The table settings was beautiful. They did an exceptional job that night from setting up to servicing to cleaning up. Last but not least, the FOOD WAS DELICIOUS!!!

My wife and I chose Seafood World as the caterer for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Ann Cong was the master planner and coordinator for us and was extremely helpful from beginning to end. Ann and her team are very detail-oriented and accommodating, which is extremely helpful when you're dealing with countless other vendors. Although Seafood World had set menus, Ann was open to modifying the menu to meet our special requests. We served an 8-course meal for our wedding guests and they couldn't stop praising and complimenting on the quantity, quality, and freshness of the food. Aside from the outstanding professional service Ann and her staff provided, Ann was also genuinely investing in making sure our day was perfect. As a couple going through the wedding process, it was refreshing to have worked with a vendor that shared the same joy and excitement as we did. Seafood World was recommended to us by one of our friends who had a great experience at their wedding. Not surprisingly, Ann ended up being one of our best wedding vendors! She was extremely easy to work with and communicate with. We had a logistically challenging venue, and Ann came to our walk-through to work with our coordinator and rentals company to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very thoughtful and detail-oriented throughout our entire planning process. Having such a great vendor made a world of a difference! Additionally, everyone at our wedding loved the food! We cannot recommend Ann and Seafood World enough!

We chose Seafood World for our wedding caterer and could not have been more pleased. Ann was a pleasure to work with - so chill and accommodating! I knew right after the tasting that we would go with Seafood World because everything was presented beautifully and tasted great! They were able to accommodate a custom menu for us as well, and catered off-site to a new venue they hadn't used before. That did make me a little nervous but on the day-of, everything went incredibly smoothly - after all, Ann is a wedding coordinator herself as well! Ann helped us choose several dim sum items for our cocktail hour and our guests RAVED about the dim sum, especially the pork siu mai. We had an eight course dinner menu, and our guests loved it. Even my husband's family from the midwest loved trying the dishes they've never tried before - and liked it! Definitely get the Seafood World Special Lobster and the French Style Beef. If you're thinking of a Chinese menu for your wedding, go with Seafood World! We were so thrilled that we did!

We had an amazing experience working with Ann and Seafood World Catering. Ann was extremely easy to get along with, helped provide us guidance through the process and assisted us with any questions we had from the time we met her through the entire wedding process. We as any other couple were nervous and uncertain of what to pick, how to time the meal, and what options would work best for us. Ann helped make that process so much easier and gave her own personal experience and input from other weddings she has worked on to help us tailor ours accordingly. She was able to give us insight on what people liked, how the timing of the food would come throughout the evening and even advice to provide our other vendors just to streamline the process. The food was great and our guests enjoyed the meal. We are very happy we had the opportunity to hit it off with Ann and would highly recommend Seafood World!

Seafood World catered my wedding and my husband and I could not have been happier with our decision of choosing them! Ann and her team were a pleasure to work with! Ann was very responsive and had multiple meetings with us to discuss our menu choices, helped us stick to our budget, made helpful suggestions and she continually reassured us every time we saw her that our wedding day would turn out just fine. Since our venue did not have the full kitchen needed to do catering, we paid extra to rent their portable kitchen, which was a wonderful option since my husband and I specifically wanted the traditional Vietnamese style dinner. I found Anne and Seafood World through my wedding planner who only had wonderful things to say about their service and food, and they did not disappoint! During the day of the wedding, Ann made sure she was there to help coordinate the set up and service. THE FOOD! From the appetizers to the very last meal, it was JUST SO GOOD!!! Our guests enjoyed their meals so much and they were so full by the end of the night. SUCCESS! When your guests are stuffed, that means the food was delicious! We only heard good things from our guests regarding the food. Their favorites were the lobster (of course!), the honey walnut shrimp, and the shaken beef! However, ALL the courses were cooked perfectly. The guests always had something to eat, and there was enough time in between courses for them to rest and get hungry again for the next course! We had dim sum for appetizers and they disappeared in a matter of minutes every time they were brought out! By the end of the night, Ann and her team stayed and helped with cleaning up and the take down of the venue. They were so helpful on top of providing us amazing service throughout the whole night. There isn't a doubt in our minds (my husband and I) that we chose the right company to cater our wedding day. We just loved our experience with Seafood World and would recommend them to anyone who is in search of some amazing catering. Going with Seafood World Catering for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We knew that we wanted to celebrate our Asian heritage by serving an elaborate and traditional family style Chinese/Vietnamese banquet but did not want a Chinese restaurant reception. We chose our venue, the Alexandria Ballroom because we could bring in our own caterer. I did an exhaustive search of Chinese Banquet caterers in SoCal and I'm so glad we went with Seafood World Catering (SWC) !! BUSINESS SIDE: Ann Cong, manager-coordinator and type-A super woman, made the whole process painless. She responds quickly and clearly. SWC had not catered at our venue but Ann quickly put us as ease. She did a walk-through early on and worked out some of the tricky logistics. The moment we walked out of our ceremony, Ann already had a plate of hot appetizers for me and my husband! Ann was great with communicating with our venue and coordinator throughout the process. The day of, she checked in on us throughout the night but we had complete confidence in Ann and her team. SWC delivered on everything we discussed and more! FOOD: We had a tasting family style which was great because we had so many dishes. The food the day-of the wedding is made on-site in a 16ft food truck- not pre made and delivered in warmers. This made logistics a bit tricky but it was worth the trouble to get hot fresh crispy walnut shrimp! We were able to alter the menu that we all liked (even the moms) and within the budget we set. SFW worked with us to set a menu that was appreciated by all of our Asian and nonAsian friends/family. Everyone loved the hot dim sum appetizers and there was plenty to go around. STAFF: Ann's staff is amazing. We had a short cocktail hour, during which an elaborate room-flip from ceremony to reception needed to take place. Her staff worked swiftly with our coordinators, cleaning staff, and florist to get the room PERFECT for the reception. There was a steady stream of food throughout the 2 hour dinner service. Our sweetheart table was well cared for with a designated member from the SWC staff. At the end of the night, clean up was swift. Our venue is a historic landmark and had many restrictions but SWC was able to do an amazing job without any trouble/concerns by the venue. We'd highly recommend Ann Cong and Seafood World Catering for your best day ever!

Walking into Seafood World, you can tell right away that there is a deep history of love. If you look over by the kitchen, you can see plaques and awards for their great service and commitment to creating the happiest day for any couple. Right away, we knew we were in the right hands with Ann. She is very detail oriented and always quick her responses. She helped guide us through every angle of the wedding from deciding what up-lights go with our color theme to picking out our traditional Vietnamese long shirt. She has a wealth of knowledge about what looks breathtaking in a wedding and you should really trust in her vision. One of the things I'll always remember is her staff that night. From your first step in, you can tell it is a family business at Seafood World. Ann's staff is so kind and attentive. Throughout our wedding, they would look out for Danny and I by bringing us food and offering us sips of wine and water. We are so thankful to have met everybody there and we can't wait to come back for more.

Ann was great in helping us get our menu and food signed up far in advance so that we could focus on all the other details of our wedding. When it got closer to the wedding, she was super helpful and flexible with finalizing all the specifics. On the day of, she and her team made sure everything went smoothly; we weren't able to see her because it was so hectic, but we did find food on our table when we were able to escape for a minute. All of our guests were happy with the taste of the food and we were so happy we went with Seafood World!

Ann was amazing. I wish I had hired her to be our wedding coordinator! We hired someone else through our venue, and regretted it immediately (Advice: Don't go cheap if you don't want to stress on your wedding day). Even though we didn't hire Ann to be our wedding coordinator, she acted like she was one throughout the whole process of our wedding planning. And did a better job than the person we hired! She and her team did a wonderful job with our wedding. Seafood World Catering executed their duties without question. P.S. Love their Dim sum :)

As a wedding coordinator myself, it's hard finding someone to trust your special day to anyone, especially when you know how everything truly runs on the day of a wedding. Ann Cong was our wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job. She went above and beyond her duties and was able to calm my nerves and woes to make sure everything ran smoothly. She held my hand through the last stages of the wedding planning, especially walking me through the timeline, recommending excellent vendors, and was very prepared for the weather and making “just in case” suggestions since it rained on the day of the wedding. My husband and I cannot thank Ann enough for her remarkable work and commitment to our event. We highly recommend her to anyone who needs a wedding planner. She is beyond experienced and worth every penny.

A lot can happen over the course of a year and Alex and I's special day at Rolling Hills Country Club could not have been possible without Ann Cong, her father Loc, and the support of everyone at Seafood World. As our caterer, they prepared our entire eight-course Chinese dinner on-site. No easy feat, I'm sure. Each dish was beautifully plated and served warm as though right from their restaurant. It was exactly the banquet experience we wanted to create for some of the most important people in our lives. So much love and tradition goes into the making of food and we're so happy they were able to help us share that with our family and friends. From the cold cut platter, our first course filled with delicious delicacies, to sweet taro and tapioca with coconut milk, our dessert, each dish was meaningful and memorable. We even had the option of adding vegetarian meals for some of our guests. Ann's organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail are the reasons why Seafood World was the perfect pick for us. However, her endless guidance throughout our wedding-planning process, her warm heart, and those open hugs I will miss are the reasons why we'll stay friends. I can't wait to celebrate our anniversary at Seafood World next year.

Ann is the best!! We got married in April and chose Seafood World since they were one of the approved vendors that our venue worked with. Our venue also required that we have a day of coordinator. When we met with Ann to discuss catering we found out that she also does wedding coordinating. We are so glad to have met Ann. She is so easy to work with and pays attention to detail. I honestly do not know what we would have done without her. She met with us several times leading up to the wedding to go over everything and answer any questions that we had. Her and her team made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. We brought in a lot of our own décor and made our own centerpieces. We were worried about having time to set everything up but Ann and her team took care of all of it! On to the food…everything was delicious! Our guests really enjoyed the food. We were especially appreciative that Ann brought us some appetizers in the bridal suite right after the ceremony. Ann really worked with us to customize our menu to accommodate all of our guests. We would absolutely recommend Ann and her team!

Thumbs up for Ann and seafood world. We wanted to have traditional Vietnamese family style meal at a non-traditional venue. Seafood world has been known for their off-site catering so I pretty much knew we wanted Seafood World from the beginning. Pricing was super reasonable and Ann was able to accommodate our ever growing guest list, kids meals and picky vegetarian. Food was plentiful and service was quick and efficient. Ann is a sweetheart and she will definitely try to work with you to you have a great wedding.

Our venue did not have any catering options available. We received some recommendations for offsite catering and Seafood World Catering was one of them. After looking at their catering menu, we contacted them and Ann responded immediately. Ann explained the process to us and ease our worries. She was in communication with us over the year. She is very nice, understanding and accommodating. On the day of our wedding, the staff were very quick in setting up the tables and it was beautifully done. The food (lobster, fish, soup, etc.) came out warm and was delicious. Our package came with a bottle of champange and 2 bottles of soda per table. This was nice to have! We also had appetizers during cocktail hour. We choose the dim sum items and it was so good! If you’re looking for a variety of food, give Seafood World Cartering a try! Seafood world was awesome and Ann was such as an amazing asset to have on your wedding day. Needless to say, Ann has catered numerous weddings and understands the business inside and out. She knows and understands all the details and recognizes the things that are most important to the bride and groom and their families. Ann worked with us on a menu that was perfect for our guests. She listened to all of our questions and accommodated our minor adjustments to the menu and plating. She was available, flexible and just a joy to work with. We had many guests from San Francisco and so many complimented on the quality and great tastes to the dishes. We accepted those compliments with great pride and happiness as San Franciscans know a thing or two about great family style banquets. Ann was there for us every step of the way during our wedding day. She gave us tips and made sure we got a chance to eat. My husband and I cannot even begin to express our gratitude and appreciation for Anne and Seafood World. During the pre-wedding process, our venue alotted us to choose from a list of their preferred vendors. We were leaning towards Seafood World after getting quotes from each of their vendors because it was the most price efficient...but we couldn't help but feel hesitant after finding some mixed reviews on Yelp. Fortunately, Anne was there to guide us through every step of the process. Communication w Anne went w out a hitch because she was always quick to respond via text, calls, and email. Traditionally, when you book Seafood World you get a free tasting w multiple items including the house special lobster. Being picky and wanting everything to be perfect, we chose to go back a second time to finalize and sort out the details. Anne accommodated the menu to our taste and everything came out PERFECT. Our guests could not have been happier! Till this day, I still get compliments and people still rave about the delicious food served at my wedding. It is different but worth the risk! SEAFOOD WORLD IS 5 STARS You won't regret it trust me! :]

Ann from Seafood World is a joy to work with. Early on we easily jumped through hurdles to have outside catering provided by Seafood World to Calamigos Ranch. Even though Calamigos Ranch was very strict and this would be SW first time there, Ann made it clear that she could accomplish this task. Her quirky and fun personality made it very easy to communicate and work with. She made it to all appointments with the venue and assisted in any way she could beyond her catering needs. She had lots of recommendations and assisted in outside vendors for plateware & flatware. She worked well with our coordinators and the other vendors.
