Seamless Planning

I really hate to write this review because I liked Sam’s energy and appreciate that she attempted to do more than we had agreed up (day of coordinator). But she ultimately did not really accomplish what we needed (someone to manage flow of people throughout the day) and instead, actually caused us more work and grief at times. This included: several of our vendors complained to us about working with her, including Sam giving the wrong instructions about the tent (contradicting what we had told them, twice), misinterpreting what a vendor and we had agreed upon and creating a hostile situation where they asked to talk to us, and vendors/friends saying Sam asked them for a lot of overhead work. Some of this could be attributed to “well there’s a lot going on and she wanted to make sure the day went smoothly” but that was also not our experience. Friends stepped in and either starting doing Sam’s role (managing flow of people and decorations), Sam rerouted problems back to us, or the ball was totally dropped where I had specifically gone over with Sam what we wanted (Half the trail mix bar wasn’t set out, people in our bridal procession were given mixed instructions on where to walk when we had discussed where clearly the day before). All our other vendors were a 5 star review and bless our friends for stepping in and creating a beautiful day. But the consensus from friends, family, and vendors was that we were not impressed by Sam. That all being said, I think Sam could do well at smaller weddings or ones with more vendors/with brides who totally want to hand over their vendor coordination and trust Sam to have their vision. The friend who came with her to help with our wedding was also a delight.

Samantha was absolutely amazing to work with from the moment that we did our first phone call! She had good reviews and I could tell by the questions that she asked that she really cared so I booked her without talking to anyone else and I am SO thankful that I did. I absolutely do not regret factoring her into our budget. Leading up to the wedding, Sam frequently checked in, asked great invitations, got an idea for our vision, theme, etc. She really ensured that we were keeping on track with things such booking vendors, sending out save the dates/invitations, and getting an idea of day of timeline which she is very helpful with and has great ideas! Month of- Sam was the primary source of contact for our vendors which was a huge relief for me as a bride and she ensured they all had the same information and knew their times of arrival. Day of- Sam set up the entire venue, helped all vendors to their locations for set up, kept everything on schedule and running smoothly. There was unfortunately rain on my day that caused some hiccups, but Sam remained calm and helped keep me calm and assisted the groom and I in making executive decisions which ended up making the day perfect and everything we dreamed of. Overall- I do NOT regret my decision to hire Samantha! Being a bride can be a lot, be she provides a level of support that is priceless.

Sam was so easy to work with. She provided more help than we paid her to by helping us find vendors. She is very detail oriented and is a great communicator. We had an extremely challenging wedding where we needed to build everything from the ground up and she helped bring it all together and make the day go seamlessly. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

If I could give Samantha 10 stars, I would! She made the entire wedding planning process SO easy, I was hardly stressed at all leading up to our big day! (even with two weeks before the wedding finding a stain on my dress, my wedding ring needing repair, losing my wedding shoes and a hurricane hitting our honeymoon destination 😂) The entire wedding day ran SO smoothly thanks to her!

Words cannot begin to describe how thankful I am to have found Samantha. Everything that could go wrong while planning a wedding happened to us, but Sam made the entire process so seamless and still enjoyable. Having Sam I was able to enjoy my wedding morning knowing Sam had everything covered and trusted her with the entire process and she truly out did herself. Honestly I am so sad that the wedding is over I will miss the weekly chats with Sam and her checking in to make sure the planning process is going well.

Sam is the absolute best wedding coordinator. First and foremost she has a vibrant personality that can mesh with anyone. She made me feel like we have known each other forever, she made me feel comfortable trusting her with one the most important days in my life and she absolutely killed it. My husband and I knew nothing about weddings. We didn’t even know where to begin. Sam had a questionnaire that helped to guide us to make sure we got everything we wanted in our day. Sam did all of the communication with vendors and the owner of our venue to make sure that everyone was on the same page. She guided all our vendors on the arrival times and appointed them on where they needed to go in the day of. SAM IS A BOSS WOMAN PERIOD! Her work ethic and professionalism is unmatched. I hired Sam to be our day of coordinator, however she worked so hard and went above and beyond for MONTHS in advance. She suggested just about all of my vendors to me and she wasn’t wrong when she said trust me you will love them. She just knows weddings! Sam is organized beyond words, in fact, my now husband even asked me “what time does sam want me to put my socks on” because her timeline was sooo detailed, down to the minute just to make sure that everything on our wedding day went smooth, and stayed on schedule. Sam is someone I now consider a friend and I can’t wait to use her again in the future for other events❤️

Sam is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I seriously cannot say enough good things about her. She is the kindest, calmest, most organized person ever! My (new!) husband and I started planning our wedding and had already found our venue and main vendors when we hired Sam. We didn't know exactly what to expect, since neither of us had planned a wedding before. Sam jumped in almost immediately and had us fill out a form about what we wanted our wedding to be like and met with us after she created our wedding day timeline. She coordinated all communication with our vendors, and did an AMAZING job considering some of our vendors weren't super quick with responding to emails or calls. She handled everything with professionalism and a calm demeanor. She did a wonderful job going through our rehearsal with us and we couldn't have gotten through our wedding day without her! She set up all of our flowers, decor, table centerpieces, and more. She checked on my husband and I frequently before our ceremony to see how we were doing and if we needed help with anything. She helped line up and queue our wedding party and had our marriage license ready to sign right after the ceremony. While my husband and I were mingling with our guests and thanking people for coming, she was taking care of EVERYTHING behind the scenes, including taking care of leftover food, and later on packing up all of our things and making sure they got into one of our family's cars to go home with us. She did everything above and I'm sure there are so many more that I could write a whole book about. She truly cares about her couples and does a GREAT job at giving them the best wedding day ever. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Sam with Seamless Planning to couples who are planning a wedding! We are so thankful that we got to work with Sam and we couldn't have done it without her!

Sam was great to work with and handled all of the little things that would have otherwise caused stress the day and week of. She made sure that our day was organized and everyone knew what they needed to know.

Samantha and her team planned and managed my daughter's wedding in Grand Rapids at The Rutledge. As a former professional event planner I have high standards : ) and am pleased to say that Sam met and exceeded our expectations. She was calm and organized and didn't let any curveballs throw her. Would highly recommend her to brides!

Samantha is the owner, she’s such a sweet person! She helped us find reception vendors for a very beachy, out of town wedding we were having. She was very communicative with us, and she was so wonderful and patient with all of our more complicated details. I’d highly recommend her to anyone! Thank you Samantha!!

Sam was excellent to work with! Quick response time, produced information rapidly & presented great detail and organization! I needed help planning my friends bachelorette party & she laid out an itinerary that’s easy to follow and plan. Exactly what I needed, someone to take the guesswork out of it for me!

The detail that went into our bachelorette party made it relaxing and perfect! From communication with our air bnb, providing ideas for easy meals, to restaurant reservations and activities! Would use the Vendor again for any activity I need. I could not thank her enough on how beautiful everything turned out!

When I knew I was getting engaged I didn’t even hesitate who to call with my questions. I knew Sam would be the person to ask! She created a spread sheet that was perfectly detailed down to flights, hotels, ect. Sam is the most detailed, organized on top of it person out there. Can’t wait to work with her in the future!

Samantha has been in the process of helping us find our dream venue. She is so incredibly organized and has found some hidden gems for us to stick within our budget. She has created a wonderful Excel Spreadsheet and a powerpoint presenting all the ideas to us along with all the cost info. I cannot wait for her to be our wedding coordinator! She has made this process so fun and stress free!

Sam with Seamless Planning made everything truly seamless! And not just that but also so incredibly personalized. I attended a bachelorette party that she planned and not only was it seamless but she took the time to send out a survey to each attendee and see what their preferences and budget were to make everyone’s time enjoyable. Truly one of a kind experience!

Seamless planning did an amazing job, and I would totally recommend! Samantha is the owner, and she is just wonderful. She planned a bachelorette destination weekend for my best friend’s wedding. She took the time to find us an affordable and nice Airbnb. She planned the days and evenings and gave us a smooth and effortless trip. She found us an incredible karaoke bar, pool party, nightclub, and amazing restaurants. She also scheduled time for us to just relax at the house and hang by the pool. Weeks prior to the actual trip she gave us all a PowerPoint that had ideas of outfits, dress codes for each venue, and alternate activities in the event we wanted something different then what she planned. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She genuinely cares about the bride and guests and wants to make sure everyone has the most amazing time, and she also wants to make sure that the cost stays within budget. She took all the stress away from the bridesmaids who were trying to plan this trip, she was so easy to work with! I would HIGHLY recommend!!!
