Searles is a stunning venue to hold your wedding. Our pictures are incredible. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the venue and how the food was delicious. Leading up to the wedding, the whole team was so patient answering our never ending list of questions, and then even worked really closely with us to accommodate an unusual signature drink. We also stayed in the Carriage House with our wedding party, which made our whole wedding weekend feel extra special, spending extra time with those closest to us. I would recommend this venue over and over again to anyone looking for a unique experience for their wedding day.

Then get married at the Searles Castle in Windham, NH for a truly unforgettable start to your marriage. All 2024 & 2025 brides should be running to this location in hopes of booking it for their big day - Shaun and his team at the Castle are top-notch and made every single wish and dream we had a reality. From the initial doe-eyed visit to the site with my mother to the day after our wedding picking up our cake, the Searles Castle was a first-class vendor, treating us like royalty along every step of the way. Shaun is a dream wedding coordinator; funny, smart, detailed, helpful, and committed to your every wish and desire. We are not local/from New Hampshire, so finding a coordinator that could meet our demands remotely was important to us. Shaun rose above all expectations, always making the time that was possible for us work and going out of his way to accommodate us. Shaun even allowed us to have our dog and ring-bearer attend each part of our wedding, from dawn until dusk. We will never get over having our little dog walk through the reception crowd and onto the dance floor. Shaun also made it possible for me to share a musical moment in the Castle on their Steinway piano with my husband that night. Being able to sneak away and go back inside the Castle for a private moment together on the piano is something we will cherish forever. Shaun also recommended each of our vendors for the big day, and each one was an absolute ten out of ten: if we could go back and do it again, we wouldn't change a single thing. On our day we heard so many guests say that we had the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen and are now receiving the same comments on our wedding photos. I am still in shock at how our flowers, photos, and cake turned out - better than I had or could ever imagine! Shaun and The Searles Castle exceeded every hope and dream we had for our wedding: from the horse-drawn carriage to throwing the bouquet/garter from the tower, thank you for the day beyond our dreams.

What a unique venue! Our guests raved about how unusually interesting the venue was, how much fun they had exploring the space, and how DELICIOUS the food was. I mean, who wouldn’t want to say they got married at a castle? The castle is amazing for photography and we would’ve loved to have spent hours just on our photos- advice from the staff we wished we had heeded. Shaun, Brianna, and Jamie took great care of us and were quick about answering our many emails. On the day of, everything went smoothly and every detail was attended to. Even though we wedded in November, the tent was plenty comfortable. We are so glad we chose the castle for our special day and would do so again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely recommend this venue! They seem a little more expensive up front than some but they are telling the truth when they say they don't nickel and dime you. Wonderful day-of coordinator, responsive staff, and good food. Getting to be the only event there in the middle of the wooded grounds is lovely and private.

Our wedding day was an absolute DREAM! Shaun and everyone at Searles Castle were on top of everything, so professional, and the food was incredible! Even with the weather being a little dreary, we were given options on what we should do, but we never felt pressured. I will always talk positively about this venue and will always recommend them!

We cannot speak highly enough of Searles Castle as a venue. Shaun, our primary contact, made us feel comfortable from the very first meeting. Being that neither of us had planned a wedding before, this was a huge relief and enabled us to feel comfortable asking for advice and feedback, all of which was provided with expertise, kindness, and an open mind. The venue, which truly speaks for itself, was elegant, fun, and unique. However, the real showstopper of this venue was its staff. Despite a downpour right before the ceremony and during the reception, the day went off without a hitch. Each moment of the day flowed seamlessly and all of the staff were professional, friendly, and above-and-beyond helpful. On top of all of this, the food was outstanding. When initially choosing food, they provided us with a list of choices which was extensive and offered something for everyone’s tastes. They were also able to accommodate tweaks to what they offer to ensure the food served was exactly what we wanted. Additionally, they made separate plates for guests with allergies and children as needed. Last but certainly not least, the venue was significantly more affordable than I would have guessed given the beauty of the venue and the quality of service that we received, particularly in comparison with other local venues that we toured. We wanted a casual, fun, unforgettable wedding and that is exactly what we got. Shaun in particular deserves so much credit for the relaxed environment that he created for us leading up to and on our wedding day, and we cannot thank him enough. If you want to have an unforgettable, unique wedding that caters to exactly the type of event that you are dreaming of, Searles Castle is the place to do it!

We somehow missed Searles Castle during our initial research for a wedding reception venue. Happily, we found out about it three days before we had planned to choose a different venue. Surprisingly, the price point of Searles was similar to an average country club with much less character and rememberability. Kyle (who, sadly, left Searles shortly before our actual wedding day) met with us on very short notice and gave us a tour. We were immediately impressed with the castle and all of the surrounding grounds & everyone that we talked to afterwards who was familiar with Searles recommended it. Because of this, we chose to book our reception with Searles and our experience was a positive one overall. They were accommodating to our specific requests regarding traditions that we had, they were communicative when it came to billing and event insurance, and the wait staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and polite. Kyle was very organized and thorough when it came to making note of our requests and preferences, and he ensured that all of our questions were answered. It is evident that the team at Searles Castle is well seasoned, as our reception went very smoothly. Our guests seemed to be thrilled with the ambiance, staff, and food.

What can say? The team did an exceptional job from start to finish. Planning, communication, tastings and on the day, first class. Even when the weather turned against us, they jumped into action and adjusted with ease. The food was amazing - so much so that the guests still talk about it. Highly recommend the castle and its team.

They are the absolute best. Shaun and everyone made our dream wedding com true. Everyone was so helpful and responded so quickly with any questions that I had.

I couldn't recommend Searles Castle at NHC Events more. Kyle was incredible and so was the staff. Kyle is organized and professional. Kyle was on top of everything. He left no stone unturned. Even when I was very sick Kyle and his staff were second to none. Ethan, was incredible. The castle is stunning. The food was delicious, I know from our tastings and from all of guests reviews. The professionalism shown throughout the entire process was empecable. Out guests had the time of their lives and were blown away by the attention to even the smallest details and how beautiful the venue was. We were told it was one of the most gorgeous weddings our guests had been to. Kyle coordinated with all the vendors so we knew everything would go smoothly. Kyle extended the night. I started feeling better with five minutes left of our night and he extended it for me so I could at least dance for a few minutes to celebrate our wedding. The staff at Searles Castle were awesome. They were so professional and polite. They went above and beyond the entire night. They brought me ginger-ale and crackers. They kept checking on me and apologizing so genuinely that I was sick. The bartenders were great to the guests as well.

Amazing! The venue was beautiful, the staff were polite and helpful, the wedding coordinator made sure everything ran smoothly and it was an overall wonderful experience. Most guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Not to mention the pictures are pretty awesome! Would highly recommend. Very professional, organized, accommodating and easy going.

Cannot say enough about how amazing our wedding at Searles castle was. My husband and I were married there about 6 weeks ago and we are still hearing from friends and family how amazing the day was. It was beautiful, charming, unique and so so much fun. Kyle was an absolute pleasure to work with from the start. He was informative and responsive during the planning process, answering questions we had before we even had the chance to ask them. And on the day of he was calm cool and collected and a quick decision maker when late busses started to interfere with our timeline. Thanks to him our day went so smoothly and guests did not even know about the small hiccup. He coordinated the set up of all of our decor, him and his staff did an amazing job. Not having to worry about this the day of was a huge weight off my shoulders. They also took care of clean up and boxing up decor to be picked up the next morning. Again, great to not worry about that night after a long day of fun. The food here is amazing! From hors d’oeuvres to our plated meal, everything was hot and delicious. The castle was kind enough to let us bring in homemade desserts which our guests loved. We paid extra to access the bridal suite for 2 hours before the reception. It was a lovely setting for pictures and even with 10 bridesmaids we all had plenty of space to spread out. The rest of the castle and grounds were so spectacular. I am still in awe of how beautiful they are. Our guests were also wowed by the beauty of it all. From start to finish it was all great. I would highly recommend to anyone considering!

10/30/22 wedding Venue Look: Absolutely beautiful! Fireplaces were on inside. Guests had such an amazing time. They had the ability to walk the grounds and inside the castle for cocktail hour. The venue has a ceremony space and a tent for reception all within the Castle's courtyard. There are many beautiful spots for pictures both inside and around the castle- including a tower! The space is truly remarkable. Venue Coordinators: Shaun and Kyle have taken care of me incredibly well. All throughout the planning process I have landed them with a thousand emails with questions galore, and they always answered quickly and kindly. They took care of decorations for me, and I had a masquerade themed wedding. They made my vision a reality. There truly was nothing for me to worry about. Shaun was with me leading up to my wedding and day of, and he stood by my wedding party every step of the way. He was good humored and amazing. Venue Food: There are many choices to choose from! My guests and I were very pleased with the food. Because of the nature of the Castle's kitchen, you must use their chefs, but you will NOT be disappointed. The cocktail hour choices were too good for me to pass up, so I made sure I was there to participate! You can choose to do plated services or buffet. Preferred Vendors/Packages: There are several packages you can choose from, including a horse-drawn carriage. I used, from their list of preferred Vendors, Suzanne's wedding, Jacques Pastries, and Get Down Tonight entertainment and had amazing experiences with them all. Cost: It always adds up depending on what you select and your budget. I feel the cost of what I received was "fair" considering how expensive everything is surrounding the word, "wedding." However, prices were upfront from the first minute we decided to tour the venue. Kyle sat us down and went over everything. We immediately received an unofficial invoice, and he held the date for us until we made our final decision. Throughout the year, we added and took away many times, and it was never an issue. Keep in mind: The website you use to make electronic payments did NOT reflect the actual remaining cost. This was the only issue. Speak with Jaime and/or your coordinator to get an updated invoice. Make sure you pay attention to this of other people all contributing.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I had my wedding at Searles Castle on 10/16/22 and everything about it was amazing. Our day-of coordinator, Kyle, was wonderful to work with. He was responsive throughout the entire process, extremely flexible, and ensured everything was exactly as we wanted on the day of... not to mention, he never looked even remotely stressed! My bustle broke before the reception and Kyle was by my side coaching my bridesmaids through it. The venue itself is unbeatable. The food and atmosphere are breathtaking. Seeing a bride pull up in a horse-drawn carriage and later tossing a bouquet out of a tower is not something you'll ever see at another wedding (unless it's at Searles!!). Our guests are saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Thank you Kyle and the Searles team for making our special day more than we could've imagined!

This place leaves you speechless, it’s beauty is in undescribable and makes you feel like a princess in a castle. I couldn’t have had a better venue, my day went almost perfect. Kyle was an amazing coordinator and could not have done it without him, I highly recommend this castle for any wedding. My only wish is that is lasted longer. It went by too fast. I wish I could repeat my wedding here every year!

If I could give higher than 5 stars, I would! I had my wedding at Searles Castle last weekend, and there are so many things to highlight. Every single aspect was just incredible - the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the preferred vendors, the entire Searles team, and especially the coordinator, Kyle! I'll go into detail below, but I can't thank the Searles Castle team enough for making my wedding day the best day of my life. Starting at the top: the food and drinks - all unbelievably amazing! We attended the tasting event, and it was a beautiful, fun experience. It was so hard to narrow down the choices and pick a menu - everything was great. We ended up selecting the middle-tier buffet (steak, salmon, pecan crusted pork, and turkey with cranberry), and it was all delicious; one of the best wedding meals I've ever had! The appetizers were also incredible (empanadas, pear leek tarts, lobster salad, prosciutto asparagus), and the drink selection was wide! Onto the atmosphere - my guests were SO excited to attend a wedding at a castle, and many of them have said how it was even more beautiful than they pictured. The grounds are well kept and gorgeous, and there are photo opportunities around every corner. The reception tent is also stunning! A quick note on vendors - I highly recommend using the preferred vendors from Searles, as it is clear these teams work together often and it makes things stress-free! Things felt so coordinated and smooth, and the vendors we worked with were all also incredible (APM Photo, Jaques, Get Down Tonight Entertainment, Susanne's Florals). As far as the Searles team, it feels like they all went above and beyond to make the day amazing! I felt very taken-care of, and the team was all very professional and helpful. During cocktail hour, the team made sure to bring appetizers to my husband and I and our bridal party so we wouldn't miss out. Anything we needed or asked for throughout the night, they were on it. I really appreciate this team! My entire Searles experience is all thanks to the best coordinator I could ask for - Kyle! From the very first email, Kyle was prompt, professional, and as accommodating as possible. He was patient and helpful in what felt like the hundreds of questions I asked him, and so organized throughout our interactions. During the rehearsal, Kyle was so good at keeping everyone on track, telling us what to expect, and making sure we all felt ready (after the rehearsal, multiple folks commented on how fantastic Kyle was). On the wedding day, everything felt perfect. Kyle greeted us when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed, perfectly coordinated the ceremony processional, made a plate of food for my husband and I during dinner, and brought the ceremony flowers into the reception area by himself. I could go on and on about the ways Kyle exceeded my expectations, but am very grateful for all of his help to make my wedding amazing!

Searles Castle is an incredible venue and I would throw a giant party there every year if I could! The privacy and atmosphere that Searles offer is unlike anything we saw when searching for wedding venues. You feel as though your wedding is the only event happening in the world, and everywhere you turn there are beautiful photo opportunities. The staff at Searles Castle is incredibly professional and friendly. The majority of serving staff is young, but we were so impressed by how hard they worked, and how friendly and attentive they were to our guests. We had several guests comment on how great the service was. The bar staff, chef, and coordinators are all more experienced professionals and their experience shows. Our wedding of 125 went off flawlessly and we received so many compliments on the bar and food. I also loved that the staff ensured we, as the married couple, were fed and drank! We worked with both Shaun and Kyle as our wedding coordinators. Shaun was consistent for nearly 1.5 years answering our emails, setting up calls, and working out details with us. Kyle took over the last few months and ran the event. We are extremely grateful for Kyle, his attention to detail, and his flexibility. He really worked with us to make sure all our special requests were met and every detail was ironed out. Both Shaun and Kyle are very easy going which sometimes left us feeling "out of the loop" during the planning process... but in the end, we trusted them to do what they do best, and they delivered beyond expectations. I would recommend Searles to any bride or really for any event! You won't be disappointed.

Working with Searles as my wedding venue was probably the most streamlined and straightforward process I could ask for, but the staff was also super flexible and responsive to my requests. I worked with Shaun for most of the planning and he made sure everything was done in a timely manner. He was great about answering all my questions. Awesome person to work with For rehearsal day and wedding day, the torch was passed to Kyle who was flexible, understanding, and knowledgeable. Rehearsal probably later than it was supposed to because our best man thought we were supposed to meet at the hotel instead of the venue for rehearsal 🤦‍♀️ Still, Kyle made sure it went smoothly and that everyone understood the instructions. He was also conscious of our rehearsal dinner time and made sure we were out of there in time to get it ready The day of the wedding was chaotic for me. Again, the flexibility really went a long way. When I came in, our dresses were all hung nicely on their hangers with the bridal party shoes. Best getting ready room I could've asked for! It looks like my dress was even steamed.. Guests had an amazing time. They still can't get over how breathtaking the scenery was in every corner of the venue or how amazing the food was. I feel like everyone's trying to find an excuse to come back somehow. I thought it was great how we got our own waitress for our sweetheart table. She asked us when we'd prefer to sit down and eat and put out our meals accordingly. I will say that if you're having certain cues and complicated or unique aspects in your timeline, a day of coordinator will be in order only because, like any other venue, the coordinator won't necessarily be able to keep track of all the show cues and where dramatic entrances will be placed. Complete oversight on my part. Also, if you're planning on having a cigar bar, chocolate covered strawberries to go with your carriage, or if you're handing out favors, please make sure you give your coordinator a little reminder the day before and of the wedding so they don't forget After the wedding, I really liked that Searles allowed for us to load out and pick up our items the day after instead of having to assign people to get it all done and packed in the middle of the night. It's also important to know that you can drop off items including florals on rehearsal day as well. This took all the stress off of me. Kyle even walked us through the castle one last time so we could soak in just how amazing it was Thank you so much for a memorable day! We hope to have another party in the future or at least make a future couple get married there so we can go back!!!

Searles is hands down the best wedding venue we could have ever hoped for. It is truly the Rolls Royce of venues. The castle alone is STUNNING! Our guests couldn't believe there was a true fairy tale castle tucked away in Southern New Hampshire. On top of that, Shaun was awesome to work with. He made sure everything went off without a hitch and answered any and all questions leading up to the event. He even worked with outside vendors to make sure they had everything needed to set up shop which took a huge stress off of us. Searles is worth every penny and then some. Thank you Shaun for making our day EPIC!

I don’t know where to start. We simply cannot say enough good things about the crew at Searles castle and our overall wonderful experience. If anyone is on the fence about which vendor-choose Searles! I promise you will not regret it. We worked closely with Shaun, but also had the chance to work with Kyle as well. Both were absolutely amazing. I honestly don’t know how Shaun has enough hours in the day to do all he does. No question went unanswered and no detail left undiscussed. Shaun is so knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. Shaun was one of the main pieces that made planning this wedding so enjoyable and easy for us. We’ve joked that no one will ever measure up to the help that Shaun has provided over the last 3 years and planning of not one, but two weddings (Covid)! Our only regret is that we can’t keep working with them-may need to plan a vow renewal in the future ;) Thank you for giving us the most magical and perfect wedding day(s) ever and always making us feel as though we are the most important couple and wedding you are working with.

Searles Castle-- WOW. This whole experience was just incredible, and the castle gave us everything we needed. Shaun made planning so easy! Not only that, but the entire staff was amazing from start to finish. They were all super accommodating and moved with a purpose, they all worked so seamlessly together. I had an accident with my foot right in the middle of cocktail hour, where I was sure I was going to have to go to the hospital, and the party would have to go on without the bride and groom. The entire staff acted immediately with first aid, getting medical attention, and even set up a hidden stool with ice under my table to elevate my foot. They all made sure I was taken care of and went above and beyond our expectations. I can’t say enough about the staff and how incredible my experience was with them all. They have an onsite catering company, and the food was so delicious! On top of all that, A BEAUTIFUL venue for a romantic, memorable, fairy tale wedding. The scenery is picture perfect, and our photos turned out phenomenally! A beautiful venue inside and outside, every inch of the castle is breathtaking. My husband and I feel so lucky to have gotten married here. If you are looking for a perfect venue for a wedding your guests will NEVER forget, book your wedding at Searles Castle!

Searles Castle was the best wedding venue we could've asked for! Our wedding was originally planned for July 2020. When COVID hit the castle was amazing! They helped us plan to get married on our original date at the castle with our immediate families then plan a reception a year later with the rest of our guests. Shaun and Kyle were both responsive, answered all our questions, and even gave us suggestions about different pictures to take around the venue. They were so helpful the days of the wedding and reception. Our guests gave us so many compliments about how amazingly beautiful the venue was including the castle and tent and how nice and professional the servers and bartenders were. This was by far the most beautiful, unique venue we looked at! I highly recommend the castle in every way!

This was the best decision ever! Not only is the venue stunning, the people are awesome!! Shaun is the absolutely terrific. He made sure everything was soo smooth and stress free for us. His team, including Tyler and Kyle, and others were so on point and dedicated. Choosing Searles Castle as the venue was the best decision we could have made. The food was amazing which is saying a lot because the wedding was an Indian wedding and we were nervous about the food not being great. We were blown away by the food, the people, and the venue in general. I don't believe anyone could be as awesome as Shaun is at what he does. Future grooms and brides, you will not regret this place, I promise!

The perfect wedding! Shaun and the staff were amazing, and everything went exactly as planned. Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, Shaun was always available by phone or email when we had questions or concerns, and we received regular updates about the possible impact of COVID-19 on our wedding day. The staff was very professional and ensured we had a safe and amazing wedding day with minimal changes from our original vision. We were able to try the food in advance at their annual tasting, and everything was delicious! We even had our rehearsal dinner there, with a completely different menu than the wedding, and the food and service were excellent. The day of the wedding, Shaun was there throughout the day ensuring everything went smoothly and keeping us on schedule without being pushy. He coordinated with all the vendors and worked with our DJ and photographer to ensure everyone was on the same page. Even when our JP and half our guests were delayed due to bad highway traffic, Shaun adjusted everything forward and reassured us that everything would be fine and run smoothly. I can't say enough about the level of service we received from all the staff, and how easy it was to coordinate everything, get all our questions answers, and be able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the details!

Shaun and the staff of NEC Events to the rescue! After the original wedding venue canceled, we were lucky enough to find Searles Castle. In less than two months, they were able to create the perfect wedding for our son and daughter-in-law. From start to finish, Shaun was on top of every detail. His willingness to meet us on our schedule and accommodate our special requests proved that it was fate that brought us to the castle. The staff coordinated the entire day taking all the pressure off the bridal party and our family. We highly recommend Searles Castle to anyone planning their special day.

Everything we wanted and more! From the planning process to the big day, the staff at Searles Castle were amazing. The bridal party was delayed by almost an hour the day of the wedding (because our limo broke down) and Scott and Shaun managed to keep things moving along like there were no issues at all. In fact, many of the guests didn't even realize we were late! We had a British-themed wedding (so the castle setting was perfect) and asked if we could have fish & chip cups as an appetizer during cocktail hour. While it wasn't on their normal menu they not only agreed to do it, but made the most adorable, great tasting app ever and even thought to include little bottles of malt vinegar when serving them, which is how the dish is served in England! Dinner was delicious and we received many compliments on it and the sparkler send-off at the end of the evening was absolutely beautiful. They also kept us on time to be able to have the send-off as they watched the forecast and made sure we were lined-up before it started down-pouring. After the guests had left we realized so did our transportation, but Scott was right there offering to personally drive us to our hotel down the street. When we went back the next day, Shaun stayed just so we could pick up our things from the night before without a complaint, even though he had a pool party to go to. We cannot say enough about Searles Castle and wouldn't have wanted our wedding anywhere else!

Cant say enough good things about this gorgeous Venue and the amazing folks who work there. Shaun was so kind and professional for the entire process. He absolutely went above and beyond to help make my day absolutely special and perfect. The venue speaks for itself. Is is stunning and even girls Fairytale dream venue. The head chef was incredible kind and accommodating. I am a vegetarian and he nearly insisted I allow him to make a custom dish for me. I loved the existing menu dishes so much I didn’t even need to. The staff here are really what makes this the best venue to get married at. If you are on the fence in the venue, please just book. You will not regret it !

From the breath taking setting to the incredible staff, to the mouth watering food. This venue is nothing short of amazing!!!! Our guest have not stopped talking about how amazing everything was an how much they loved every part of my wedding! Shaun An Scott are incredible and I can’t say how blessed I was to see my dream come to life from all their hard work!

My son and daughter-in-law had a magical wedding at Searles Castle in May (Just as they had hoped and dreamed of!) Scott and Shawn were incredibly attentive and we greatly appreciated all their help and guidance. Many of our friends have said that the wedding was one of the best they have been to! The wedding ceremony was at 5:30 outside in the courtyard, we had wine and beer passed when ceremony was over, drinks and apps were available inside the castle and then dinner and dancing in tent. The DJ was awesome - keeping everyone on the floor dancing and celebrating! I would highly recommend this venue!

The castle is beautiful but we spent most of the time in the tent. We had our pictures taken at the pond and when we came back up for our cocktail hour we were rushed into the tent. We got 10 minutes in the castle from 5:40 -5:50. We had booked the venue from 3:30-8:30-9 and we were 1 hour delayed because of guests arriving late but we finished with the ceremony by 4:45. Our guests had cocktail hour from 4:50-5:50. Dinner was served around 6:15 and the cake cut at 6:45 pm. Disappointing since that's why we went with this venue. The castle experience. Buyer beware. I requested that since the tent was so big to place the tables by the bar and entrance. Makes sense more money for bar if you are close to it. Nope we were seated all the way on the far end of the tent. Looked ridiculous. We had a small party of 30 people 4 tables and had buffet style. So waiters didn't have to do much . We got our own food and beverages. The 400.00 cake was never served or announced and most of guests never had it including the groom. It was hiding next to the bar on the other side of tent and again not one waiter asked if we wanted it. When I questioned Scott, I was told it was eaten. By whom the wait staff who got a 20% gratuity?. Nice tip. Then a charge for 300.00 was placed for extra staff. That was not part of original contract. I was told because they needed more waiters for less guests? Interesting. After my objections more than an month and many unanswered calls and emails, I finally got that money back. I think I am owed for the cake and the cocktail appetizers that we didn't finish. I think they should have been given to us to take home or passed around in the tent until gone. We had 25 people and set up for 31. I saw food left over. I think the thing that ruined the whole experience is the way I was treated after they got my money. Also I think the Searles castle venue should be responsible for making sure the cake was served to my guests. I wish we had more time to enjoy the castle and the appetizers we paid for. I would not recommend unless you have a wedding planner to make sure you get what you need and want.

We had our wedding reception at Searles Castle this May and we could not have picked a better venue! It was truly a perfect day and such a dream all around. The staff there is INCREDIBLE - I cannot say enough positive things about them. They answered all my questions, were available for anything, and just were so pleasant to work with. They were so accommodating and made sure everything was just how we wanted and perfect for us on our day. Throughout the whole process, we never had to worry about anything which allowed us to enjoy the day with our guests. The food was out of this world good and the venue is just beautiful! I wish I could relive the day over and over again!

We had our wedding at Searles Castle in June of 2018 and it was a fairy tale come true! From the beginning, everyone was so helpful especially Shaun to answer all of my emails and present all of the information we needed to select the best options for our wedding day. That man definitely has patience because I probably emailed him at least 1-2 times a week for 14 months! Closer to the wedding day, Scott was very nice and helpful with everything surrounding the budget. I was mostly impressed the day of the rehearsal when we brought close to 30 boxes of decorations and Scott was able to capture my image exactly of how I wanted everything set up, and the day of the wedding everything was organized and decorated just like I explained to them. On our wedding day, Scott and his wife helped us so much with the timeline and order of events. Anything we needed, they were there to do it for us. My family and I along with our wedding party really appreciated having our own waiter during the cocktail hour, as well as the head table had their own waiter for any drinks we would like to have; that was definitely a very nice touch and very appreciated. Finally, the next day when I went to go back to pick up all of the boxes of decorations, everything was organized again for us ready to go. I have never met more organized people! Overall, Searles Castle is such a beautiful venue if you’re looking for that fairy tale royal wedding. Plus that tower! It was the highlight of my life to be able to throw my bouquet from the top of the tower! I really felt like a princess there! The people that work at Searles Castle are incredible and so helpful and kind, and also the food was amazing. I know that my guests will remember this day for the rest of their lives!

We were married at Searles Castle on August 24, 2017, and our wedding day was nothing short of the fairytale we had envisioned. I am 100% honest when I say the planning process with Searles was 100% stress-free. All of our emails were answered in a timely manner, and no request or question was ignored or brushed aside. The staff is top notch and goes above and beyond to make sure no detail is left out or unnoticed. We cannot say enough positive things about Searles and their staff. We wish we could relive our wedding day over and over again...it was absolutely perfect!

Less than 2,000 characters?! We couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding than Searles Castle. My husband loved the tent and I felt the castle was a perfect blend of fairy tale and Harry Potter! The Searles team worked with us diligently through the whole planning process, answering all of my numerous emails with full, detailed responses. They were so flexible through everything, allowing us to add twinkle lights to the tent, decide if we wanted outdoor vs indoor at the last minute, etc. The true amazingness of the team didn't come to light, however, until the big day. From the beginning, Scott instilled a sense of calm in both myself and my now husband. He was always available to us through everything, but especially on the big day. Shaun was incredible as well - always so attentive and making sure we had everything we needed, that everyone was in the right place at the right time, etc. And Aly, well she saved the day! We had a donut tower that we ordered from Klemm's Bakery to go on a beautiful tiered stand and Klemm's was to stack the donuts into towers. However, they just tossed the donuts onto the tower in an incredibly sloppy way and I was pretty upset about it – you want everything to look nice! Aly stepped in and told us not to worry, put on some gloves and rearranged the whole thing into the beauty you see below! Further examples of how they went out of their way: my husband is sober and pretty much only drinks Red Bull. We mentioned this to Scott and Shaun and they made a point to have a huge amount of Red Bull set aside for him alone. My father-in-law wanted a specific brand of wine and Searles made it happen. 92 year old Nana wanted to walk down the aisle and sit in a normal seat like everyone else, but she needs a chair with arms, so Scott and Shaun pulled out a beautiful throne-like chair which was just perfect for Nana! The food was delicious, the added hour was perfect, the staff was all so attentive, friendly and happy! We couldn't have asked for a better team to make our dream day come true. I can't thank the Searles team enough and hope that this review brings them to you for your magical day! You couldn't make a better decision!

I possibly could not put into words how amazing Searles Castle and their staff are! They were amazing before the wedding, during and after. I am very type A and like things done a certain way. I also have a hard time letting people do things, I very much like to be in control. I was extremely nervous before my wedding and about how the day would go. I should of listened to Sean and Scott. They were right. I had nothing to worry about. This review is a year late and I do apologize. This venue and staff are amazing and worth every penny.

I can't say enough about Searles Castle and especially Shaun. The venue is breathtaking and the people do everything possible to make the day perfect.

We got married May 28th, 2016 and we couldn't of asked for a more perfect day! People are still complimenting about this venue and how the food was the best they ever had! 💖We wish we could do it all over again! The staff was over the top extraordinary, and the venue itself was breath taking. We would defiantly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a one of a kind, romantic fairy tale wedding.

I cannot say enough good things about how amazing this castle is. It is worth every penny. It is run by 2 men, Shaun and Scott, and Scott's wife, Ali. They are all AMAZING to work with. They are down to earth and low key, which worked perfectly with my and my husband's mentality. They kept us calm and reassured from beginning to end. They never made us feel pressured and they were very up front with everything. They were realistic with us about total cost, things to leave out because they were unnecessary, things we should have etc. The guys gave us a great tour in late January and when they said they had an open day in October -- we had to do it. Shaun and Scott helped us to plan a wedding for just over 200 people in about 9 months. They answered all my annoying emails quickly and made sure that I was completely comfortable with any and all decisions. The wedding was everything I could have hoped for and more. It is truly the most stunning venue you will ever see. The tent is gorgeous -- it has chandeliers, couches, beautiful lighting. I got married on October 9, 2016. It hadn't rained all summer and basically all fall. Well, on that day -- it poured! We were all hopeful that the rain would let up by the 430 ceremony time, but by 4, it still wasn't looking too promising. Despite the ceremony being set up for outside, the staff at the castle were able to transition everything to inside the tent smoothly and still managed to fit my vision perfectly. AND they did this within 20 minutes. The ceremony was just as stunning inside as it would have been outside in the courtyard. Their rain plan was great and Scott kept my dress from getting soaked in the rain by carrying it from the door to the tent while he was in a arm sling. Talk about dedication! These people are true professionals. They want you to feel like your day is the most magical day ever and never for a second want you to worry about anything. Scott, Shaun, and Ali were attentive the entire night and made sure we were all having a great time. They even allowed us extend our wedding the night of for an extra hour because of how much fun everyone was having. We have had numerous people tell us how the castle was one of the most beautiful, unique, and magical venues they have ever seen -- and this was with it down pouring all day. They also all agreed that the food was unreal. The items on the menu are delicious! I could go on and on about this castle and the people that run it, but I'll end it here -- it's worth it for you to check out -- one glance and you'll see your very own happily ever after!

Searles provides an absolutely beautiful and unique back drop for a wedding. We had our reception here and it truly wowed our guests. The staff was incredibly accommodating and really never said no to us. At times, I wished they had been more responsive/organized during the planning process; being the OCD bride that I am, I took a lot of the organization into my own hands. The castle has a vintage feel, so if you're looking for something more modern, this isn't the venue for you; but if you love that vintage vibe you'll love the castle. The tent is truly the most beautiful wedding tent I've seen. Our guests had a great time and the wedding was my husband and I's dream come true!

When my husband and I first started looking at venues we knew 2 things: we wanted somewhere Southern NH and it needed to fit 250 people. When I heard Searles Castle I thought I would hate it because I don't like the whole "queen/ princess" thing. From the first steps getting out of the car to the end of our wedding I was blown away. It was nothing like I imagined but everything I dreamed my wedding would be. Shaun and Scott were amazing to work with. They answered my emails within minutes and never had a problem with any changes or requests I made. Leading up to the wedding was a breeze and they made me so much more relaxed. The day of the wedding from the second I walked in, to the very end of the night I literally could not ask for better. From me forgetting my flowers, to not having a drink, to making me laugh when my dad and I were almost in tears, someone was there to help and make the day perfect. My guests loved the venue and exploring the castle, the food was delicious, and there was never a line at the bar (even with 200 guests). They catered to us and were worth every penny we spent. I was so happy and relaxed the whole day and although I hate it, I felt like a princess/ queen. This venue is gorgeous and awesome. Shaun and Scott are the best and the rest of the staff were professional and so sweet. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Amazing, amazing venue, and service to match. Whatever you want, they'll find a way to make it happen. It was refreshing that, during our first meeting, they calculated what the day would cost and gave us a number -- everywhere else gave you complicated menus of options so the best you could do was guess. They responded quickly to about a hundred panicky emails from my mother and me over the months leading up to the wedding, and blew us away on the day. We took advantage of two of the last minute extensions of our booked time, and the whole staff was super nice about it, even as we kept them from heading home as planned. The servers were so on top of things that I think they actually left the venue to bring back specific drinks some guests asked about. Really, really top notch service -- and how cool is it to get married in a castle?!?

Such a beautiful and unique wedding venue! We were so happy with all aspects of Searles. The guys running the show were always so quick to get back to all of my emails and were really easy to work with. Very flexible and easy going with any ideas I had. Food was great too!

I loved working with Searles Castle. Everyone who works there is so easy to talk to and were always more than happy to help me out (even though I had millions of questions). The venue is fabulous as well as the food. I had no problems whatsoever. Even though it rained suddenly on my wedding day, they were able to make arrangements to get married inside the castle - with no issue at all. I 100% recommend Searles Castle to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I booked Searles Castle for our August 2013 Wedding Reception and couldn't have been happier! The venue itself is spectacular, a true fairytale setting inside and out! Picking the wedding venue was one of the hardest choices we made in our wedding process and it was one of our best! The venue is unforgettable, the castle is totally impressive and the tent is so pretty!!! The tent was exactly what we wanted, it has stone floors and a dance floor (which is great for girls in heels!). Shaun and Scott are busy guys, but they were available when I needed them and extremely accommodating. They really made our vision come true, and they made everything possible. Thanks Guys! The Office / Shaun and Scott: What I LOVED about Searles Castle is Shaun and Scott. When researching different venues for our big day, and visiting some of these locations, a lot of venues "romance" you. We literally called one place up told them our budget and what I wanted to do, to see if that venue could even be an option, of course they said yes, drove an hour to see the venue, got romanced, and then was given the bill, which did not match anything that I told her I could afford. When visiting Searles Castle with Shaun and Scott, it was a bit of surprise and a relief. First, they were the first venue that had men running the show, and secondly, they sat me down and basically said, here's all the things we can do, and here is what your budget will allow. They were very straight forward, and it put everything in perspective right at the beginning: things like, "well if I want open bar, I'll only have this much to spend on flowers," etc. They treated me with the upmost respect but they made it very clear, "you're not our first bride, and you're not our last," of course they didn't actually say that, but I loved the fact they were straight forward, they kept my wedding in budget the entire time, and made it beautiful! Day of the wedding Shaun and Scott: My day was perfect - I know they tell you not to expect a perfect day, which I didn't, but because I didn't expect perfection, I think I got it. The only thing that wasn't perfect on my day was I believe my Momzilla and a persistent Rabbi. Shaun and Scott had it on lockdown though. We had a Jewish wedding with a ketubah signing, and I should have known to be specific to Shaun and Scott to get "kosher wine" but instead I just said we need wine for the ceremony which they were more than happy to provide. Day of, I find out it's not Kosher wine, and they offered to run out and get some - luckily we had kosher scotch on hand. My mother, well.... if she found the slightest thing off, she had to make it known. For example, I wrote the seating cards and I accidentally put my aunt at the wrong table, and my mother decides to tell me right before being announced, and Shaun and Scott had the chart on hand and got things in order. They also let my husband and I store centerpieces and what not a few days before the wedding, and lock it in the office, so that way, day of, things were more organized and nothing was forgotten. After the wedding, they let us keep whatever we needed there, to pick up after we got back from the honeymoon. The Food: One thing I was EXTREMELY impressed by was the fact I didn't like any of their vegetarian options, and they said I could create my own. I've never heard of a venue allowing so many options in addition to creating my own. They even said, "you have a 'family' recipe, bring it in, we'll give you a quote." They were so easy going! I gave them a recipe for a vegetarian dish and it was outstanding - I'm not a vegetarian and I got it, and I felt it kicked the butt out of my husband's fillet minion which was also to die for. I didn't get to taste the chicken that we had, but I heard it was good. The Castle: Being Jewish, I loved the venue but I wanted my family to feel comfortable at a very catholic site. I asked Shaun and Scott to remove any religious paintings from inside the castle and they did, which was great for photos and for my family.

We got married on May 10th. The entire staff at Searles castle was amazing. Everything was perfect and I would recommend Searles Castle to anyone who wanted amazing backdrops, great food and outstanding service!!!

My guests could not say enough great things about the service, food, drinks they had. The staff was very attentive in the guests needs. The only hiccup was during the reception, there was some confusion on who was taking care of the brides and we had to ask for service. We felt we should have had a server directly assigned to us and should not have had to wait in a food or drink line. The issue was addressed quickly and taken care of. Shaun, Scott Shauna and all the other staff did a great job and made the whole event more than we could have ever asked for!
