Was supposed to be a double sided bufffet but instead was set up as one sided buffet. This slowed things down a bit more then expected. We could have provided more space if we had known that space was an issue. Things never run on time but that added a lot to the time crunch. Everyone enjoyed the food and the staff was good. There was an incident when a guests plate was taken before he had finished his bread; leaving him with his bread in hand. Lol
Seasoned in Seattle Catering literally made our wedding day 10x easier. Our coordinator was in touch as much as we needed up until the big day and was so kind and informative when answering all of our questions and making changes to our menu. We used an altered version of their "Oktoberfest" menu for our German-themed wedding and the food was absolutely delicious. The presentation was also fancier than we expected, which made our wedding feel even more classy and important. We also used their bar service package and the bartender was friendly, responsible, and made all of the guests feel very well taken care of. The cleanup was done within half an hour thanks to their amazing staff. We will definitely book Seasoned in Seattle Catering again for our next big event!
"BEST. WEDDING. FOOD. EVER." That's what we heard from our guests at our large Caribbean BBQ wedding. Everything was so delicious and beautifully displayed. The bar and catering staff were so professional and FUN. The event coordination staff went above and beyond to help us get the best bang for our buck. Seasoned in Seattle is the best catering company around. Your tastebuds won't be disappointed and neither will your pocketbook! THANK YOU, Seasoned in Seattle!
After unsuccessful research into caterers for my daughter's wedding and only five weeks to plan, my photographer, Dani Weiss, suggested a few caterers. Seasoned In Seattle was the only one to actually prepare an appropriate bid for my daughter's requested food choice--Greek or Mediterranean. None of the other bids came close to meeting our needs. Nora at Seasoned In Seattle was efficient, professional, and answered any and all questions. She was responsive in meeting changing needs with adjustments in price, quantity and rental supplies, as well as labor as related to serving drinks, and with only a few days notice she made it possible to do a champagne toast. Her staff was efficient, professional and caring. They also accommodated three gluten-free guests.
This was the second time we used Seasoned in Seattle - the first time was in 2004 which I actually forgot about until I was looking for a caterer. I interviewed five caterers and my initial direction was to go with Seasoned in Seattle because they had an extensive menu, were willing to adjust the menu and substitute as needs required, they were price competitive and responsive. Once I selected them and met in person I realized we had used them before - remembering how delighted we were just clinched the deal. The big day arrived - the staff was prompt, unobtrusive, well managed, and clean up was efficient and thorough. The food - raves from everyone! We had been to several weddings this year and know how important the food is to a successful event - I can honestly say that ours was at the top of the yum list. Give Andy a call - he'll hold your hand through everything! He's responsive and flexible, good qualities to have when working with a bride!
I can't say enough good things about this caterer. Andy Celli is awesome - his communication was always prompt, he was willing to work within our very tight budget, the staff was friendly and efficient. We talked to a lot of caterers, and this caterer was the best. We had a wedding brunch and the guests raved about the food.
Seasoned in Seattle (Andy) was amazing to work with. I was a bride on a budget who still wanted delicious food and with their customizable menu options, Andy helped me create just that! He is also so knoweldgable about many of the Seattle venues, he knew more about the ins and outs of my reception venue than I did, which was such a relief to not have to worry about! Most importantly, everyone I've talked to keeps raving about the food. Even my husband said "we definitly chose the right catering company" and I absolutely agree. Thanks Seasoned in Seattle!
Almost a month after our wedding, I am still hearing about how incredible the food was! Andy and his staff are seriously amazing! I had no idea how to put together a menu- and I thought the things that we liked were so random, there was no way they would fit together- but Andy made it happen! He customized a reasonable menu for our budget, met with me patiently over the phone several times- and was just awesome! I would absolutely recommend Seasoned in Seattle- you can't go wrong! Thank you Andy and Team!!!
A very nice company to work with: attentive, available, and flexible in working with our set budget. They provided incredible food and wonderful service for a very affordable price. If you have monetary limitations, just let Andy know! He will work with you to provide you the best possible.
Seasoned in Seattle did a wonderful job at my wedding. We weren't able to do a tasting before we booked, so when they hosted their open house tasting a few months after we booked, they made sure there was an item from our menu there to try (the grape and goat crustini is to die for!!). I never had any issues with communication, there was always someone there to answer my questions. The day of the wedding, the staff set up quickly and the displays were absolutley breathtaking. We did the Greek menu, our guests had lots of fun trying all the "exotic" flavors. A joy to work with, great food, and a reasonable price - all things that are important to a bride on her wedding day!
Seasoned in Seattle is by far the best caterer in Seattle. I would work with them again in a millisecond. Andy made the process stress-free and he was so flexible and a pleasure to work with. His staff is friendly and professional.
The set-up and tear down were seamless and they were just so amazing on the day. One very happy bride right here.
Seasoned in Seattle was incredible! Guests are still raving about our food and i crave their meatloaf constantly.
They were so incredibly helpful and the wait staff was so attentive to each guest. During our cocktail hour we had a few guests who were unable to move easily around in the crowd so they went to a seperate area. They ensured they had a constand flow of appetizers to keep them full until dinner.
Additionally, I had an unexpected event occur i needed catered in two days. Andi stepped in and took care of everything even delivering it to us himself. It shows the extra care he and his team give their clients. I cant thank them enough for all they did!
Seasoned in Seattle did a great job catering our wedding. We worked with Andy on planning, and his communication was always prompt, friendly, and helpful. He was very familiar with our venue (Golden Gardens Bathhouse), and helped us to understand the pros and cons of different arrangements for the buffet and bar. On the day-of, everything was set up perfectly, the staff was nice and professional, and the food - most importantly - was extremely delicious. We had sweet and sour meatballs, white and wild rice, black bean and corn salad, antipasto, fruit display, chicken and blueberry salad, salmon lox on bagels, and a raspberry walnut salad - it was all awesome! We made a point of having someone grab leftovers for us so that we could enjoy it again the next day for both lunch and dinner!
My husband and I got married on 2/4/12 at Pickering Barn in Issquah and hired Seasoned in Seattle for our big day. They were AWESOME. I couldn't have been more pleased. Andy worked with us for months, responding to every single email I sent him, and very promptly! When the big day came, they even added some free items to our buffet! We took home leftovers and snacked on them for days - the mushroom chicken is to die for! We will forever recommend this caterer!
I cannot begin to thank Andy and the wonderful Seasoned in Seattle staff enough. I had originally booked a venue that required I use in-house catering. Well, when that venue foreclosed only five short months before my wedding, I remembered how genuine and helpful Andy had been during my preliminary research a year ago. I called Andy to see if he had any Sundays open in July, and he gave me a few dates that would work. Not only did he hold a handful of dates for me while I searched for another venue option, he gave me a list of venues at which he had previously catered that had the same characteristics as my foreclosed site (lakeside, rustic, intimate, cost effective).
I ended up choosing a beautiful lakeside lodge in Maple Valley, however, it required a lot of planning as the rental package only included the facility, tables and chairs. Andy quickly referred me to ABC Rentals, a great company where I purchased all of my table linens and arch for 10% off due to Andy's referral.
On our wedding day, we were blown away as the food and beverage service began. Seasoned in Seattle truly exceeded any and all of our expectations. The bartenders were very attentive, friendly and fun, and the buffet set-up was more plentiful and beautiful than we ever imagined. For example, as one of our side dishes, we ordered fruit and melon kabobs, yet they set up a tiered fruit display complete with every fruit you could ever want, including figs (they were a huge hit!) All of our guests went back for seconds and RAVED about the food! At the end of the night, the staff neatly boxed and organized our leftovers.
Finally, Andy's prices cannot be beat. He brings enough food and drink for twice the amount of your guests, as well as all of the china and glassware. We hosted an open bar for 4.5 hours and our buffet menu included steak, salmon, and four side dishes for 75 guests. Our total catering bill? $3500! Seasoned in Seattle is really a phenomenal company and guaranteed to make your event very special!
I had a wonderful experience with Seasoned in Seattle. Andy was so helpful and considerate of my tight budget, and the food was just incredible. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Seattle area looking for a quality, affordable, and responsible caterer for their next major event!
My husband and I just started looking on the internet one day for possible caterers in the Seattle area for our wedding. We were impressed with Seasoned in Seattle from the very beginning with their attractive and easy to navigate website, and they appeared to be the best value for our money. At our initial meeting, we were so impressed by Andy at Seasoned In Seattle that we stopped our search for any other caterers.
Andy really made the whole process easy and fun. We sat down and sampled wine as we went through possible menu options. He was very mindful of our budget and gave us lots of ideas on where to splurge and where we could cut back on the menu. There were no hidden costs with Seasoned In Seattle. Anytime we made a change, we received an updated spreadsheet with our costs based on estimated guest count.
We also decided to have Seasoned In Seattle as our drink caterer. They offerred everything from a full bar option, to wine/beer, and champagne toasts. They took care of all the licensing required to serve alcohol. It was really nice to have this all inclusive package and not have to interview bartenders, get a liquor license, or estimate how much alcohol we might need.
At our actual reception, we were so thrilled with the look of the buffet. It was truly stunning. The food was excellent and we had guests going back for seconds and thirds. I had friends and family commenting that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Seasoned in Seattle really offerred creative and gourmet foods that everyone enjoyed from goat cheese and grape salsa hors d oeuvre's, cajun salmon with a cucumber salsa, and my absolute favorite stuffed pasta shells. The staff was so attentive and efficient. Our water glasses were always filled, our dirty dishes were taken away immediately, the buffet was kept stocked, and the staff did this all with smiles and really seemed to enjoy their jobs.
I think the absolute best part of Seasoned In Seattle is that we got to keep all of the leftovers. The staff packed us up some food to take to our hotel that night and snack on. The rest went home with my parents and we were able to have all of our out-of-town guests over the next evening to enjoy anther great meal before traveling home.
I cannot say enough great things about Seasoned In Seattle. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, and really made planning a wedding easy and fun.
That's what my guests keep telling me three months later. Granted, I've got a lot of foodie friends and family, so they are unnaturally fixated on food - but I think that only recommends SiS more. Even the vegetarians were completely happy. We just went with the standard menu because it was what we could afford, but it was spectacular. Beautifully arranged, and mad tasty. I want their Wild Mushroom Chicken recipe. My dad wants their horseradish.
Andy was great to work with. Very patient with all of our many questions. We are so very satisfied.
I had previously hired Seasoned in Seattle for a company event, so when it came time to choose a wedding caterer, i immediately thought of them. I worked with Andy, who was so nice, easily reachable, and very flexible. All of my millions of questions were answered, and though their pricing is good to begin with, they were willing to tailor our menu to fit our very tight budget. They even offered assistance in party rentals and in planning the setup of the room. Their food is delicious and they display it beautifully. At the reception, the staff was friendly and helpful; they made themselves available for any questions, but stayed out of our way and let us enjoy our party. Our guests were coming up to us all afternoon asking who had done the catering, and I was happy to tell them it was Seasoned in Seattle. The whole experience was fantastic, and I would gladly work with them again for any catered event.
Seasoned in Seattle was great to work with and had fantastic food. They were very helpful and receptive with planning a gluten-free menu for our wedding!
The food was excellent. Andy was so easy to work with, and really went above and beyond, helping us save money on rentals, suggesting decorations etc. Their website is easy to use, and prices are listed for every menu item (does not include labor).
We’ve been to a lot of weddings where the food was very “blah.” Just your static, standard wedding fare of green beans, mashed potatoes, and roast beef. That is NOT what we wanted and so we sought out a wedding caterer that could create a unique, fun menu for us that our guests would rave about. That is EXACTLY what we got with Seasoned In Seattle. We fell in love with Andy Celli from the start and decided to hire him based on personality, well before ever tasting his food. When we went to their open house about a month later, we knew we had made the right choice – the food was amazing. Andy did a spectacular job throughout the process and gave us great advice about building a menu, budgeting, guest count, and so much more (we went with a Mediterranean theme, by the way). He was even able to incorporate food for a handful of our guests who were either vegetarian or had allergies. He’s been doing this a long time, and it shows. Andy’s personal touch was all over our wedding and we can’t even remember how many comments we received about the delicious food - in fact, we are still receiving comments after the fact! Another great thing about Seasoned In Seattle is that they provided all the dishware and utensils, so clean-up after the reception was a snap (our wedding was at a private residence). Their service staff was professional and sharply dressed. We could go on and on so we’ll just end with a great big THANK YOU!!!
