Renee and the staff at Seasons are nothing short of amazing.
When we began the process of looking for wedding venues, I sent out a standard email to a few dozen venues with some questions. One of the most important parts of the email focused on ensuring that the venue was fully wheelchair accessible for my father. I was very specific in the email on what his needs would be and wanted to ensure they could be fulfilled before continuing on with scheduling a meeting in person. Most of the venues replied back with standard emails along the lines of “sure let us know when you want to come in” without answering any of my specific concerns, especially about my father. Then I received the email from Renee. She not only addressed my concerns, but actually ran around the venue with a measuring tape ensuring that they had more than 33 inch turning radius in doors, ramps, restrooms, etc.
We whittled our venue list down to three places and scheduled in person meetings. We decided to bring my parents with us to ensure that my father was able to get in and out of the venues without issue. Our first stop was Seasons. It ended up being our last. Renee was so accommodating answering all of our questions and she even brought a bunch of supplies up from her office downstairs to make sure that my dad could be included in the conversation. She walked us through step by step offering guidance and suggestions until we had the perfect event planned for early April 2020.
Then Covid-19 hit the state and all of our wedding plans were abruptly cancelled just a few weeks before our big day. As heartbreaking as that situation was, we could not have asked for a better venue to work through these uncharted waters. From the first teary eyed phone call asking about the possibility of rescheduling, to two reschedules later, Renee was by our side through it all. During the final reschedule when we decided to push our “big wedding” out to Fall 2021, Renee even offered to allow us to do a small elopement ceremony at the venue so we could at least formally get married.
Renee took the time to help us adjust our plans accordingly to make the elopement day special, while still planning a vow renewal with “the big wedding” for late 2021. Our elopement ceremony in October with 10 masked and socially distant family members was better than any ceremony we could have asked for. Renee really made the small ceremony special for us and every single guest commented on how great she and the staff were. We give Renee and Seasons “two thumbs up”, “10 out of 10”, 100%, A+, 5 stars!
