Our wedding goals were drama-free and stress-free. Working with Linda at the Secret Floral Garden was a joy as she listened to what we wanted and presented options. She gave us peace of mind due to both her demeanor and experience and helped us ensure our welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception were beautiful and consistent! Our wedding venue was the Butterfly Garden in the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This presented a special challenge in that no "real" flowers could be used in the ceremony. I put real in quotes because Linda at the Secret Floral Garden created an arch with artificial flowers that looked so real no one even thought they were fake! It was truly awe-inspiring and our guests raved about it throughout our entire reception. She also created lovely bouquets for my now wife and our daughters and a boutonniere for me that also looked fantastic. We loved the decorations in the venue as well. It really looked amazing and we were incredibly happy with it. She also connected us with a printer who made a board for our escort cards as well as a welcome sign for the night before using our color scheme and our design. It really helped pull everything together over our wedding days! Additionally, at the last minute, we asked her to provide flowers for the day before at our Welcome Dinner and she came through in a big way. They were so beautiful and gave the patio we had our event a much more uniform and beautiful look that matched our wedding theme. Secret Floral Garden and Linda are HIGHLY recommended if you want a beautiful wedding!

I was very happy with my flowers and the decor at my reception. Steve was great to work with and really tries to work with your budget. SFG has a nice variety of centerpieces, etc. in their inventory. I don’t have any regrets about booking SFG . I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Literally. Mind. Blowing. Talk about planning the wedding of the century... and then doing it twice! COVID has not been a friendly partner in this entire wedding experience. Little did I know when I got engaged in 2018, our wedding would not take place until summer of 2021. We have planned and planned this darn thing. After the first wave of cases, we made the difficult decision of postponing our special day. It was tough and terrifying, but we wanted to do what was best for our guests. Another facet of this terror was all the horror stories of brides past who had to forfeit their large deposits since venues would not transfer their date and money. Obviously, that is another soapbox I will not get on. SFG and Linda were godsends! They transferred my deposit to my new date with ease. We also changed our venue at this point and they adapted without missing a beat. Our original talks included inspiration pictures and colors I hoped to incorporate in our theme. I love white and modern vibes for the wedding ceremony. My flowers of choice were orchids, hydrangeas, and white roses. She sent me a spread sheet with the break down and prices. It all made my organization heart happy. Linda met with me during the venue walkthrough and helped with designing displays that would match the space. She and her team were prompt and came to break down at the time specified. Let's talk about the flowers for a second here. THEY ARE LITERALLY MASSIVE. Honest, it looked like we spent double our final price on flowers/decor. All the guests were absolutely floored. I am an orchid fanatic and I have never seen orchids so monstrous in size. They are all in similar stages of bloom and beyond healthy. My own dad thought it was fake and he even walked me down the aisle, in close proximity to my breathtaking (talk about Pinterest dreams are made here) white orchid bouquet. They exceeded my expectations and then some. So so impressed. I thought I would walk out the venue thinking PFTTT flowers. These arrangements were so beyond beautiful; everyone (including myself) took a handful home. I am literally preserving my bouquet because I just cannot let go of this awe and splendor. I would recommend them to all brides, of all aesthetics. Do it, you won't regret it.

The most important part of a wedding to me is always the flowers. For my own wedding, I prioritized my budget to have the flowers of my dreams. I came to Linda at Secret Floral Garden to make my dreams come true. Unfortunately I am leaving this review quite disappointed - for a number of reasons. I felt like she didn’t work with me and my budget very much. I ended up adding an ADDITIONAL $3000 to my budget to ENSURE I got what I wanted. She didn’t propose many alternatives that I could consider. She did warn us that my flowers would cost more since I had to reschedule my original date to mother’s day weekend.   When it came to delivering my payment. I had my brother coordinate dropping off the payment. It was very unprofessional of her to state she would be available but when he drove across town to deliver the payment she didn’t pick up multiple of his calls. He had a large payment ready to drop off and she inconsiderately did not answer any of his calls. Lastly she added something into the final contract without notifying me. At our original meetings with my mom as witness, we discussed reusing our reception centerpieces as floral decoration for the church. At the in-person meetings, she ensured her team could transport the flowers. A week before the wedding, she updated the contract without letting me know that she wrote in the margins that Secret Floral Garden now would NOT help transport the flowers. Probably one of the last things you want to hear as a bride on the day of- luckily my groomsmen and parents were able to figure it out with the help of my day-of-coordinator. As I said from the beginning, flowers are the most important part of the wedding for me. The flowers themselves were beautiful I will admit. For how much I paid, I did expect more. However I would not recommend SFG for their unprofessional behavior, lack of proper communication, and unexpected increases in pricing.

Steve with Secret Floral Garden worked with my planner, Delcina (Del), with Fabulous Beginnings to make our vision for our backyard wedding a reality. Everything looked so beautiful and exceeded my expectations. Wedding guests and those who attended our after party were stunned at how Steve was able to beautify our plain space! It could not have been more perfect!

The décor and florals for our daughter’s wedding at Hotel ZaZa were spectacular!! Steve had proposed a beautiful design for a large wedding scheduled for April. Due to COVID, we moved the date to August and had to scale way back on the number of guests; but I still wanted the décor and flowers to be special for their micro-wedding. Steve more than delivered!!! The ceremony set up was beautifully done and we received so many compliments. All the décor was a surprise for my daughter. She said that when the doors opened for her to process down the aisle, the flowers and candelabra took her breath away. Exactly the reaction I wanted her to have!!! We were truly blown away with the dinner décor. From candelabra, chargers, tablecloths, a candle wall and flowers, everything was perfect. Steve and his crew came early for set up and stayed to move arrangements from the ceremony space to the dinner space. Steve stayed until everything was set up perfectly and oversaw every aspect of the design and execution. SFG will be doing the décor and florals for our big celebration in June. We are all excited to see how Steve will wow us again!!

They gave me exactly what I asked for and were accommodating to some changes I requested! They will work with your budget which was very much appreciated! Beautiful job!

Steve with SFG was absolutely amazing! He listened to what we envisioned for our ceremony and reception, then made it come to life - more beautiful than we could've dreamed. They were beyond easy to work with, enthusiastic, and professional. We would highly recommend SFG to anyone! Thank you for helping make our wedding dreams come true!

We rented a few pieces of furniture and all of our linens from Thee Secret Floral Garden. They were all beautiful and set up very nicely. The reason why I am giving a low star review is communication. In our contract, it stated that we needed to have all items we wished to rent finalized and that we needed to pay off the remaining balance right around a month before our event date. No problem, thats how most vendors are. The issue that we had was trying to get ahold of The Secret Floral Garden to correctly update our rental inventory. I had tried reaching out multiple times from the middle of August through the end of September to have the quote correctly updated and even with questions about their rental decor. No responses. I had finally heard from them a few days before the wedding (early November) with a quote that still was not updated per my requests previously sent. Then the following evening, a demand for immediate payment. I understand the haste in needing to be paid being that close to the event, but the invoice had not been correctly updated, they had not sent any form of payment links or forms to us prior to this, nor were we able to get into contact with them during the past 2ish months. When we had talked on the phone that night, they said that the items had already been reserved, wrapped, and loaded on the truck for our event that weekend, so we could not simply remove them from the invoice or from the truck. Their "compromise" for lack of communication was to remove the charge for cheapest set of items that I had requested be removed multiple times months before, but that we had to eat a couple of hundred dollars for the most expensive set that had been requested to be removed, that they were going to leave on the invoice. Don't get me wrong, everything that we ended up renting (whether it was intentional or we were stuck with it) was beautiful. But doing all of this 3 days before our wedding was uncalled for and could have been easily avoided had there been better communication from them and correctly updated invoices by the date specified in our contract.

Linda and her team truly exceeded my expectations. They went above and beyond in many ways, such as financially, as well as on the delivery and being promptly. Most of all the flowers turned out amazing!

Steve and his team were such an important part in making our dream wedding come to life! I was pretty clueless when it came to what decorations and flowers I wanted for my wedding, so Steve was such a huge help in making the planning process easy and fun. Everything looked beautiful and elegant, from my bouquet, to table arrangements, to chargers, to candles, and more. The team truly went above and beyond in planning, execution, and set up. Thank you, Secret Floral Garden!!

I can’t say I know much about flowers or arrangements, so the thought of trying to explain what I wanted seemed a bit daunting. Steve put me at ease and pulled up pictures of examples of what he was talking about. He understood my vision and the final product was beautiful. I also loved that I could use them for linens and other decor. A little pricey, but I don’t have any complaints about the final product!

I did a lot of research before I picked my florist and we went with the Secret Floral Garden because they were nice and accommodating. They worked with our budget and we actually went slightly over budget for the flowers. The flowers were all beautiful along with the centerpieces. Our sweetheart table was absolutely gorgeous. We did have a flower wall and when I saw it for the first time, there were noticeable patches missing. No worries though, they fixed it. It was all very beautifully and tastefully decorated.

Steve was our florists at Big Sky Barn in Montgomery and my goodness, he NAILED our flowers! We had soo many compliments on our arrangements and I was BLOWN AWAY when I saw everything on my wedding day! He was so easy to work with and super sweet!! He is really great about you giving him a vision and him making it a reality! He was amazing to work with. Super talented!

The Secret Floral Garden did a spectacular job providing the floral design and ceremony decor for our daughter's recent wedding at The Houstonian. The centerpieces, bouquets and corsages were absolutely gorgeous, making the ceremony, cocktail and reception spaces dreamlike. Steve and his group are wonderful to work with and extremely talented.

Our flowers were so, so beautiful. From the bouquets to the centerpiece arrangements to the altar arrangements, everything was perfect. It was so easy to sit down with Linda and talk through my vision and see how she enhanced it with her expertise.

Linda and her team are very experienced and good at what they do. They will be able to make your dream wedding come true. I had no worries and let Linda take over to make my vision come true. She did an excellent job and the flowers were beautiful!

Steve did a wonderful job! Steve was easy to work with and turned our vision into reality! Day of he was at the venue and available. He even was able to help solve a couple of last minute problems that popped up. I would recommend them to any bride who wants a seamless and beautiful wedding!

Steve was our floral designer and he did a fantastic job. Our flowers- wedding party & reception flowers looked so much better than I could have ever imagined! They were exactly what I wanted when I told him my super vague vision of having “loose garden style flowers”. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the flowers- they were beautiful! Steve truly seemed like he wanted us to get the most bang for our buck and I never once felt like he was pushing us to spend more than we wanted- he actually even saved us money with some of his suggestions. (I can’t say the same for some other florists we looked into) Steve was so accommodating with all of my last minute changes and requests, which is very appreciated from someone as indecisive as me! Thank you so much Steve- you rock!

Linda was so talented at weaving my tartan ribbon into the floral decorations. The venue couldn't have looked prettier! I was also delighted that she was OK with my guests taking the table center pieces with them to take to my clinic so patients could enjoy them too whilst I was on my Honeymoon.

Secret Floral Garden was great! Prices are competitive and, after meeting with a different florist and hearing their pricing, I knew secret floral garden was the way to go. Steve made the process of choosing flowers very easy. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but he helped me through it and gave us some great choices. He also provided us advice on how to save some money by getting certain items ourselves! As far as the venue/centerpieces and bridal bouquets, everything looked beautiful. The boutonnieres and wristlets were somewhat disappointing in that they were not the easiest to pin and the roses fell off of several of them early into the event. Otherwise, we were very happy with Steve and the Secret Floral Garden team.

Just used this vendor for my wedding at 5226 Elm and could not have been happier! I worked with Steve and he was absolutely the best! He worked with my budget and we came up with the perfect package to meet my budget needs! They provided my flowers and rentals (chairs, tables) and I DIYed my own centerpieces (due to budget constraints) and Steve made sure everything was done flawlessly! He was very responsive and professional and made sure every detail was thought of. I HIGHLY recommend Secret Floral Garden and Steve!!

The Secret Floral Garden was absolutely heaven sent. Linda and her team took care of everything from the moment I walked through her door. I'm by no means a floral expert and I only had a general idea of the theme I wanted to portray for my wedding. I was so overwhelmed with all these flowers that I didn't even know the names of! She was so patient with me and showed me all the images of the flowers she thought would fit and my vision started becoming reality. Not only did she help me with flowers, but also other decor items like table runners, lanterns, etc.... Definitely a one-stop shop! It is an understatement that she hit the nail on the head. On my wedding day, I was never once stressed about the flowers. Her team was out there bright and early and I took several peeks into the reception hall and it looked absolutely stunning. Her attention to detail is amazing - bar none. Of all the decor I received most compliments on the beautiful floral arrangements. No joke - my mom still keeps the a dead bouquet because it was so beautiful. I would highly recommend to anyone!

The Secret Floral Garden provided the flowers for our wedding and they have excellent service. We met with them once in person and that was all that it took. We told Linda what flowers and look we were after and she provided the perfect arrangement. On the day of our wedding, their setup was amazing. They came to the venue and were able to completely set-up and make our reception beautiful while allowing my wife and I to focus on getting ready. Can definitely recommend The Secret Floral Garden for your wedding or any other event!

Secret Floral Garden! What can I say? Linda at SFG handled everything for us from A to Z. Not once did we have to worry about anything. We had a couple of sit downs and that was all it took for her to lay out to us our perfect wedding. She guided us throughout all the decor and floral options like a pro and we felt completely comfortable and ensured by everything. Day of, everything was perfect. It was better than I could have possibly imagined. To this day, I still get compliments on the decor and flowers. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Steve! My theme was modern geometric-minimalism, with gold and marsala as my accent colors, and he did an amazing job pulling it all together! I got a ton of compliments on the flowers and decor at the wedding, and he was very good about emphasizing his professional opinion when he thought something I wanted would not look right - and I'm glad I listened. Overall, he listened to what I wanted, we collaborated back and forth together, and everything came together beautifully on the big day!

Linda is the best! The flowers were beautiful and made our venue look absolutely amazing. We were blown away by her work. She had the wonderful recommendations and suggestions along the way. We could not have been happier with her services.

Linda transformed the venue into a romantic wonderland. I cannot thank you enough for all your hard work. I had more guest ask me who was the decorator of the venue. You can do it all! From the beautiful arch, floral arrangements, linens, you perfected every detail. You made our daughters wedding absolutely beautiful. From our first meeting with you I knew we made the right decision to pick you as the decorator. You are a one stop shop for all our wedding decor needs. I would not do anything different. Overall, Linda did a good job on my floral and linens. One thing that I was really disappointed about was that I paid $500 for a floral arch, and the one they made for me came out lopsided. The weather was perfect, maybe just a slight comfortable breeze so I don't feel that wind was a factor. My groom took pics of everything getting set up and I saw that it was clearly lopsided while they were still there attaching flowers to it. For what I paid, I really feel that a lot more effort could have gone into fixing it before they left. Now that annoying crooked thing is in my wedding photos for life - super displeasing to the eye. All the rest of my floral was gorgeous. I would say 5 stars for the rest of my floral and less than 0 for the arch.

Our flowers were so pretty! I honestly didn't know what I wanted going into the meeting and Linda really took her time making sure to show us pictures of everything and help us pick out the perfect types of flowers. Everything turned out beautifully. I have been to weddings where the flowers are wilted or browning and there was none of that with her. She really did a beautiful job. They arrangements and bouquets were to perfection. Prices are also very good compared to others in the area.

Linda does amazing work!!! The first thing she asked me was what my dress looked like so she could make the appropriate floral recommendations. She is very patient and knowledgeable. Linda was the first florist I interviewed and I knew right away that I didn't have to look any further. Her prices are very affordable and her floral arrangements are gorgeous! I received so many great comments about the flowers after my wedding. She also does lighting and decor which is also lovely. For me it was "killing two birds with one stone". I would highly recommend the Secret Floral Garden!

My husband & I got married in April at the La Torretta Resort & Spa in Montgomery, Texas. They provided us with a list of vendors to use and some were just recommendations. We chose Linda from the Secret Floral Garden after seeing her work the day we went to check out the venue. She was absolutely amazing to work with! Flowers aren’t really my thing but I had an idea of what I wanted after searching on Pinterest! =) My mother and I had an appointment with her early on just for us to discuss flowers and what I wanted and things she recommended and to get an idea of the price. My grandma is a retired florist and so I checked with her on the prices and she thought we were getting a good deal so…My mother and I made another appointment along with my grandma to get everything going in a contract. She showed us around her building of the work that she was currently doing and how she does everything. It was AMAZING! The week of the wedding she gave me a time that she would be there to set everything up and she was ON TIME! =) She had every bouquet and boutonniere labeled for who it was suppose to go to. Everything turned out BEAUTIFUL & looked good the entire night. I would highly recommend Linda from the Secret Floral Garden!!! =)

Linda is awesome, she try to fit my budget and reuse flowers from ceremony for the reception. She knows what will look good and what flowers to use to save you money! She was very responsive to emails as well!

Loved working with this vendor, we had a bit of a scare with the flowers that I wanted being frozen and she fixed the problem right away and found a flower that worked perfectly in place of the not usable one. Great price for the quality too.

I was a little hesitant to use this florist since I was planning our wedding event from out of town, and knew nothing about them. But the restaurant where we held our event suggested The Secret Floral Garden, and I decided to go with them. Their quote for our table centerpieces was the lowest I received for the same centerpiece from 3 different vendors. They delivered the centerpieces on time as promised. And the centerpieces looked lovely and lasted for days after we brought them home.

Linda is amazing. She truly tailors a perfect solution for your wedding. She asks what the dress style is and recommends certain bouquets to compliment it. She tells you if something you want may not work with the overall look. She has examples of the different types of arrangements to help someone without a pre set vision create a look of their dreams. She took care of all the drapery, linens, floral needs, and rentals for my wedding. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

Linda is amazing! Two friends (former brides) recommended her and after visiting with her I didn't even check out any other flower vendors (like I did in every other area). I took a few pictures with me to our initial meeting and she was able to create exactly what I was thinking. She rattled off names of flowers so quickly and really knew her stuff. Her prices fell within my budget and she was so easy to work with! I changed a few things after our first meeting and she was quick to respond with a new quote each time. She is the best!

Linda was easy to work with, transparent with costs and materials, and was in line with my wedding vision. My centerpieces were stunning, I loved my bouquets, and could not have asked for a better experience.

They were always available to take my calls and emails. They made beautiful arrangements and were right on time. They didn't give me the exact colors I had asked for.. I wanted pink and white, and I got orange and white. But it still looked beautiful. Kind of expensive, but I think all flower vendors will probably be the same price range.

For our wedding we didn't need flowers to be the main focus-instead we wanted them to be accessories in our fabulous venue (the HMNS). After searching high and low for florists that could meet our budget, I was introduced to Linda at the Secret Floral Garden. Linda is incredibly nice and dedicated to her craft. She asked us what our colors were and what types of flowers we were looking for. Because some flowers I liked weren't in season, she gave some great recommendations for substitutes. Linda gave us a great price breakdown of what each floral item would cost. It ended up being cheaper than what a grocery store florist would offer! Linda also recommended us the usage of a canopy during our reception since we didn't know what to do as far as floral decor. It was the best idea ever! The canopy gave off a fairy-tale like feeling during the reception and looked ethereal in our photos. Linda will work with you no matter how small or large your budget is. Her work is meticulous and the flowers she uses are absolutely gorgeous. Definitely recommend her for any event!

When I first met with Linda at Secret Floral Garden, I was SO excited. I felt like she completely saw my vision (I provided TONS of pinterest photos), but on the day of my wedding, everything I was expecting was completely different. I wanted small white curved vases and I got HUGE clear cylinders. I wanted diamond wrapped posts and I got small plain columns. Also, when I went to pay the rest of the bill, she completely forgot about the $1,000 deposit she had required when signing the contract. I actually had to send her a copy of the check! overall, she was a very nice person and was apologetic about the money, but that doesn't make up for all the trouble it caused me the week leading up to the wedding.

Linda was absolutely wonderful to work with! Flowers was one of the most stressful parts of wedding planning for me and from the minute I met her, all my troubles disappeared. She was so helpful, creative, and helped come up with great ideas to make things affordable. When I showed up to my venue the day of my wedding I was in awe at just how beautiful everything looked. Of all the florists I met with, I felt that she really understood my vision and in turn was able to make everything come to life! The flowers were ALIVE all night, even through an outdoor ceremony and the bouquets were alive for days after the wedding! Planning a wedding from out of town, Linda was so flexible with meeting times and worked with my schedule which I definitely appreciated. My wedding was absolutely gorgeous thanks to her beautiful flowers!

I love flowers so I knew it would be a bigger part of my wedding budget. My friend recommended that I meet with Linda because she offers reasonable prices. When I met with Linda I had a list of everything I wanted. She went over everything with me and worked with my budget. I was so excited that she really understood my vision and even seem inspired by my dress and the feel of what I wanted for my wedding. She had worked with my venue so she even suggested things I didn't even think about to make my ceremony and reception look even more beautiful and romantic. I knew she was the florist I wanted to work with right away. The day before my wedding I dropped by to make my final payment and she showed me what she was working for my wedding. I was amazed when I saw the biggest pink roses ever that she was working on for my centerpieces, again I was so I couldn't wait to see what she had in store for me. Linda did not disappoint. I loved the white rose bouquets she assembled for my bridesmaids with pink studs which were complimented with the lovely orchids in their hair. I especially loved my pink roses and white gardenia bridal bouquet with studs. It was the perfect combination of simple beauty and elegance that I was looking for. When I walked down the aisle and saw the amazingly gorgeous canopy she had assembled on the golf course it took my breath away; It was the perfect compliment to the setting. Those incredible big pink roses in black vases and pink floating candles with orchids were perfect centerpieces at every table. Even the floral arrangement for my sign in table was beautiful. People always say no body remembers flowers at a wedding, but Linda did such a wonderful job my guests were so impressed and definitely remember my centerpieces. My husband and I are so grateful that Linda went above and beyond to help us have the beautiful, romantic, and elegant wedding we envisioned.

I used The Secret Floral Garden for my wedding and they did an amazing job. I loved the centerpieces for my reception, they were just want I had expected them to look like. I also used them for by bridal party flowers, and they did an amazing job on those as well. I used just sunflowers and she did a great job of putting together simple yet sophisticated bouquets and boutonnieres for all of my bridal party. Thank you for doing an amazing job and making my wedding beautiful!

We used The Secret Floral Garden per a recommendation of a friend who said they will work with any budget, which I absolutely agree with, but I did learn, "You get what you pay for". Overall, I am satisfied with my flowers, I think they were lovely, but there again I am not a big flower buff, so wanted to save money in this area. What I liked about Secret Floral Garden is that it is run by a husband and wife that are both very polite, and helpful, and the flowers came out great, very fresh and beautiful. We had my bouquet, boutonnières and corsages, alter pieces, and centerpieces done with them. The negatives were we were missing one of the groomsmen boutonnières, and when my bridesmaids called to inform them, they were quick to say, "No we double count everything, they are there", well no, it was in fact not there, they were one short. I mainly did not like the attitude they took with my bridesmaid when it was their error. They did try to make it back to the church in time with a replacement, but it was too late, and we had to start, and the flower they brought was the wrong color. Also, they are not very proactive, I found I was the one calling them each time, and it took a few attempts to get the contract, and confirmation on a few things, and the week of I was confirming with them on the times and location, they were never proactive about checking on anything with me. Lastly, I had to return the vases used, I know a lot of places pick them up for you, so that was inconvenient, but again, you get what you pay for! I would recommended them for the budget conscience bride, that is also very detailed, so that she can make sure her order is correct, and is okay with doing a lot of the scheduling and organizing herself.

Linda at Secret Floral Garden was amazing. Her prices were unbeatable for what we got. She did our floral arrangements, table clothes, chair covers and all the draping around the room. Her prices were half of what many other vendors quoted us. In addition, she went above and beyond in her advice. She had a relationship with our venue and helped us to keep them in line and negotiate the issues we had with them. Our wedding ended up being absolutely gorgeous. We got a million compliments on our flowers and our decor. Everyone thought we spent way more then we did. If you are getting married and need a florist in Houston - I would highly recommend Secret Floral Gardens - they will take care of you!
