Mickey and his entire team at Sedgefield Florist were a God sent to me as my family, now husband, and I prepared for our wedding on October 5, 2024. His ability to listen to my ideas and execute them with the utmost attention to detail demonstrates his love and care for others and for his craft. I couldn’t have asked for a more professional and thoughtful team to work with on our special day. Mickey and his team exceeded my expectations to provide the most beautiful flowers and greenery, as well as to take so much thought and care to place everything perfectly on my wedding day! My friends and family continue to comment on how beautiful the flowers were for our wedding even almost 3 months later. Sedgefield Florist was an incredible vendor to work with! Mickey was extremely helpful in the process of deciding what we wanted and the execution of our wedding day flowers. He made the experience totally not stressful and was able to provide a ton of great industry advice and recommendations. We reviewed what we were looking for and our budget, and he was able to help us design a plan that exceeded our expectations. I cannot recommend Sedgefield enough. They were very professional and responsive, and really put my desires first. Instead of attempting to get the biggest budget out of me possible (as I had experienced interviewing another florist), they were very helpful about ways to actually minimize cost while still delivering a beautiful product. The arrangements were very fresh and absolutely stunning. They were self sufficient on wedding day as well, having everything delivered and set up well ahead of time. Mickey of Sheffield Florist and his (family member) design team were the highlight of my daughter’s wedding. From the very beginning, she knew that she wanted the whimsy of wildflowers, but she wasn’t sure how that would translate to wedding bouquets and floral arrangements. Mickey said, “Trust us, my girls will make it beautiful,” and boy, did they ever. My first tears of the day came when I saw the flowers. I couldn’t figure out why it choked me up, but I think I’ve figured it out. The arrangements they created (which we later learned were a combination of ordered flowers and foraged foliage) were somehow all of these things: bright and sunny, whimsical yet sophisticated, fun, radiant, delicate yet bold. Basically, all the words I would use to describe my daughter, the bride. Somehow their team used their exceptional gifts to convey all of the preciousness that is our girl. I felt it, and I know our family and friends did too. I cannot express strongly enough what a joy they were to work with from start to finish. Any bride would be lucky to have them as part of their day!

Mickey and family at Sedgefield Florist were outstanding to work with and provided quality flowers at an affordable price for our wedding in May! Mickey and everyone at Sedgefield Florist were a dream to work with for our wedding in June. I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to flowers, and he was so patient with me in explaining and showing options at our first meeting and reassured me completely that everything would be perfect for our big day. He created a sample centerpiece for our tasting and walkthrough day, which was absolutely beautiful and was very accurate to what we had on our wedding day! On the day of our wedding everything was delivered in excellent condition, and one of the designers built our ceremony backdrop on site that morning. We were also able to repurpose our ceremony flowers for the reception. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and made it the most perfect day!

Mickey & his team are hands down the best! So kind, thoughtful, resourceful, and were able to help me stay within my budget. I knew I wanted white roses and tons of greenery. They showed me options and help me nail my vision.

I showed them a picture of a bouquet that I wanted from the internet. The flowers and colors were just like the picture. The flowers were beautiful!! They were kind and easy to work with.

Mickey at Sedgefield was such a joy to work with for our August wedding. He was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the process of putting our plans together. On my wedding day, Mickey and his team dropped off the flowers early and got everything setup. It was flawless and so lovely. Mickey went above and BEYOND to ensure I loved my arrangements and that he understood my vision. He worked hard studying the tent we used for the reception and learning how he was to attach smilax the day before/wedding morning. Mickey and his daughters Jessica and Jo, as well as Billy all did a phenomenal job and brought to life our dream wedding. Our wedding would not have been the beautiful, most gorgeous day that it was without Sedgefield. We organised our wedding from overseas, and the above and beyond service that Mickey provided us was beyond what we could have asked for. Considering we had a 14 hour time difference, and our opposite schedules, it did not even phase Mickey and if anything, we could have been better customers! Ha ha. We had very specific requests with what vision we had for our wedding, and Mickey and his daughters outdid themselves. A truly stunning wedding, very reasonably priced and were amazing on the day. Amazing, Affordable Florist Sedgefield Florist went above and beyond with the florals for our wedding. Mickey helped put my mind at ease when I had a last minute request for the wedding - he is incredibly thorough and researches all the best solutions to deliver your vision for you. I was blown away by the thoughtfulness and artistry of our final florals and branch arrangement.

Mickey and his family really outdid themselves with our floral arrangements! I actually don't think our day would have been as beautiful and magical a day without his help! As I told him, we needed that "sedgefield" touch for it to feel so complete. The arrangements were all beautiful and perfect to the description set in our contract, he was super helpful in the creation of those. Mickey was also super flexible and did not make us feel bad for making adjustments as needed. He was a friendly face and ear throughout our process and I was just left speechless when I saw how our venue was transformed by his touch. I really hope we will be working with him again!

Absolutely loved working with Sedgefield Florist! They listened to everything I wanted and were able to give me what I wanted in the budget that I needed. They exceeded all expectations I had. Sedgefield Florist does stunning work-from the initial consultation, I knew I wanted to work with Mickey and his family for our florals. He clearly knows what he is doing and consistently does research to stay on top of trends and new techniques. He was very responsive and helpful throughout the process of planning and working with multiple family members. Our florals were absolutely beautiful and fit our vision perfectly.

Working with Sedgefield Florist was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding! From the jump Mickey bent over backwards to do everything for us. When we called to see if they were available for our wedding date, they were booked solid with a big wedding that same day. However, Mickey looked over their projects and what we wanted for our florals and told us that he would still be able to do our wedding. After that, COVID hit and he was again the easiest to work with on finding new dates a year out. Not only was Sedgefield easy to schedule with, but they go above and beyond with designs, layout and budget! I had a basic idea of what I wanted floral wise, but Mickey helped come up with designs based on pictures of past arrangements, advice on how to decorate certain areas at the venue, and what colors and florals would be available and look best at that time of year. If I ever had a question about if a certain part of the venue would have enough florals, Mickey would be honest, but not try to upsell me. He would tell me if adding something would be too much going on or he would even discuss trying other options that would cost a lot less. Instead of being a vendor who is quick to throw more onto your bill, which there are a lot, he would discuss things and view all options first; which was a big relief. Come our wedding day, my breath was taken away by how beautiful Jessica, Jo, and Mickey’s designs and arrangements were!! I had only shown a blurry inspiration picture of the aisle pieces I wanted, but the florals they put together were so perfect. I cannot express how happy I was with how these turned out, they were my favorite piece, but everything else really tied well together and made our wedding so beautiful! I cannot speak enough praise of Sedgefield. They are quick to respond, easy to work with, budget friendly, and make any floral requests a reality!

Such stunning work by an amazing dad-daughter group (Mr. Atkinson, Jessica and Jo). Mr. Atkinson took the time to sit down with me on multiple occasions and listen, write notes, and execute exactly what I envisioned. Such amazing detail was put into every flower used. I never experienced any pushiness when choosing flowers and I was always met with transparency and honesty throughout the entire process (these days that is so hard to find!). Choose this lovely family!

I am so happy with the flowers Sedgefield Florist provided us with for my wedding. Even though they were super busy during this wedding boom, Mickey took the time to listen to what I envisioned for my wedding flowers and made it happen. He was so friendly and just a great person to work with. I wanted a large bouquet and had several requests for flowers to include and not to include, colors to have and colors to leave out. The attention to detail was apparent when I saw my bouquet. It was absolutely stunning and I wish I could have it on display forever. I loved it so much. Mickey did such an amazing job picking flowers for my hair – and on my wedding day he delivered them in a vase, with a great selection so I could pick and choose what I wanted and didn’t want. Mickey and his daughters are absolutely amazing at what they do. We LOVED working with them for our wedding at Summerfield Farms! Mickey was so knowledgable about the florals he recommended and gave us great tips on getting the biggest bang for our buck. He never made us feel like a customer; we felt like an extension of his family. Even though he has tons of weddings every year, he always instantly knew who I was when I walked in his shop and greeted me with a warm smile. After postponing our wedding, some of the floral varieties we chose were no longer in season (mostly peonies/blush florals), but instead of just telling us that we couldn’t have them, he picked us some beautiful blush dahlias from his own garden! We loved working with Mickey and Sedgefield Florist, even with the stress of planning a wedding during a pandemic Mickey was wonderful. We ended up doing two weddings, a small intimate patio poolside wedding on their original date in May and then a larger wedding at the Cadillac Service Garage in July and the florals for both were amazing. Mickey was so gracious and helpful from our first planning meeting all the way through the final wedding in July. He even missed a day of his family’s vacation to do the set up and have everything perfect for Paige on her second wedding on July 19th. We would have never imagined when we first meet with Mickey that we would be dealing with a pandemic but it gave us two beautiful weddings that Paige will never forget and she said that both turned out perfect.
