wedding planning on my own. However, about 9 months before the wedding I realized I could use some support. A friend recommended Shannon. From our first meeting, I KNEW Shannon was the PERFECT person to help us with wedding planning / execution. She is an absolute STAR and an amazing calming presence on a very busy and stressful weekend. I LOVE Shannon. I truly cannot say enough good things about this woman. We did our own florals, and Shannon and her team really helped us execute this while we were busy with pictures before the ceremony. We just got married on 10/12/25 and Shannon's support was absolutely invaluable. If you are on the fence about hiring a planner, first of all, DO IT, and second of all, make it Shannon. She is the best!! Thank you so much Shannon!!!! - Abby Mitchell, 10/27/2025

benefit to us but did not realize at the time just how integral a part she could and would play in making our wedding day perfect. Shannon was our day of coordinator, but to say she was only involved on the day of the wedding would be a miscategorization. From the time we signed our contract with her (more than 12 months in advance) up until we began our meetings with her and up to and after wedding day, she was incredible. Any questions we had throughout that lead time she was more than willing to answer and provide her expertise and input based on experience with other weddings, nothing was off limits. When we had our first official meeting ~2 months before our wedding day, we were impressed wtih everything Shannon had already prepared and pulled together based on our prior communications. She was ready to manage our wedding day from start to finish and everything in between. Anything missing was a product of us as a couple needing to find or come up with answers, not a result of Shannon missing something. She remembered all the little details from everything related to the wedding to small tidbits we mentioned about our story or personal lives. As the day approached, Shannon handled the logistics wtih all of our vendors, ensuring everyone knew where to be and when and how everything would happen. We truly don't know what the day would have looked like had Shannon not been our day of coordinator, she took all the stress and worries off of our shoulders and we were just able to enjoy time with our family and friends. When we went to the venue to pickup all of our supplies it was all ready and waiting for us with little legwork needed to be done by us to track it all down, she managed to pack up all the little details that we lapsed to remember that evening. Words don't express how much we appreciate everything Shannon did for us, we could not recommend her highly enough to anyone getting married in the RI area, she is a gem, she is perfect, she exceeded our expectations and she will be a part of our story from that day forever thanks to everything she did for us!

sty, and enthusiasm. While working together, I was able to feel calm and excited because I was sure we were in capable hands. SES handled vendor communications, formalities, and other fun aspects and played an huge role in bringing everything together for our special day. Also, any assistant working with Shannon was incredibly sweet and helpful. If you are still unsure, look no further! I would work with SES again a million times. Thank you!!!

resence throughout the year of working with her. She made the whole process stress-free with her guidance/timeline, by remembering all the small details, and by handling vendor coordination so seamlessly. Thanks to her, we were able to be fully present and enjoy our entire wedding weekend without a worry. Our wedding turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined, and we are beyond grateful for her!!

manageable and even fun! When we had to postpone our wedding, she helped coordinate with all of our already-booked vendors to secure a new date, which took so much stress off our shoulders. As an indecisive bride, I appreciated how she helped make decor decisions more seamless and was willing to do what it took so I felt comfortable making decisions. She came along to in person vists to PEAK and attended every wedding vendor call to make sure my vision came together and truly was more prepared for these calls than I was most times. The week of the wedding, she took everything off our plates and ensured the entire day went off without a hitch. My husband and I were truly able to be present and enjoy every moment that day and that’s a gift we’ll never forget. Even post wedding - she has helped up wrap any final pieces we need to tie up. While helping with my vision and making the actual day seamless, the knowledge she brought through out the entire process is immeasurable. There are so many pieces I would not have thought of if it were not for her. I also can't wrap up this review without acknowledge how much work she did behind the scenes coordinating with vendors to make sure everything would be perfect day of. If you’re looking for someone who is organized, creative, calm, and genuinely kind, Shannon is it. We’re so grateful to have had her by our side!

edding planner was a must once I got engaged—and Shannon was everything we could have hoped for and more. Early on we shared what was important to us on our wedding day and that was for our wedding to feel personal to us, and for our guests to have a seamless experience. Shannon is the reason we were able to make that vision come to life! Throughout the entire planning process, any stress, anxiety, or nerves would melt away whenever I connected with Shannon. She is truly an expert at what she does, and we felt so confident from day one knowing she was by our side. From the very beginning, Shannon was organized, attentive, and deeply invested in bringing our vision to life. She and her team handled every detail—big and small—with such care and professionalism, making the entire process smoother and so much more enjoyable for us. On the wedding day itself, Shannon and her team were absolute rockstars. Everything flowed seamlessly, and we were able to fully soak in each moment knowing we were in the best hands. Our family and wedding party are still raving about how beautiful and well-orchestrated the day was, and we owe so much of that to Shannon and her team. If you’re looking for someone who is not only incredibly talented but also kind, calming, and a joy to work with, look no further. Hiring Shannon was one of the best decisions we made!

dding and were not looking forward to planning one, but we ended up with very specific ideas about what we wanted, some of which were pretty unconventional. Shannon never said no to any of our crazy ideas, and encouraged us to have the wedding that was right for us. She worked with us to refine our vision into a practical event design, and then executed it all and made it look effortless and beautiful. She understood the vibe we were after and got both the decor and the flow of the weekend exactly how we had imagined it. Day-of, Shannon was on top of everything and really allowed us, and our friends and family, to relax and fully participate stress-free. We absolutely could not have done it without her, and we feel like we made a friend along the way! Ask her about the wedding with the circus act, we’re sure it’ll be a good story! Shannon, thank you for everything, and know that we appreciate your help and hard work more than we can fit into words!

of knowledge when it comes to all things wedding related, and took the time to really understand our vision and help bring it to life. She was incredibly helpful when it came to selecting vendors, coordinating different meetings and site visits, and managing all wedding weekend details. On our wedding day, Shannon and her team made sure everything ran as expected. It was perfect! We truly don't know how we would have been able to pull off the wedding of our dreams without Shannon!

e that allowed us to feel prepared to enjoy every moment of our wedding. During our first meeting, we told Shannon that we had two main goals: 1. We wanted all of the different parts of our day to feel manageable so that we could be fully "present" for the entirety of our wedding, and 2. We wanted to build in time to *actually* eat our meals and take in the experience that we worked so hard for. Shannon really listened and she delivered on all of these goals and so much more. Hiring Shannon was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding day! We will forever recommend her to any engaged couple. We truly can't express enough how much you need to have Shannon involved in your wedding - whether it be for full wedding planning, or as a day of coordinator (like we did)! Shannon makes it her mission to make sure you ENJOY your wedding.

roughout the entire process. She knows all the best vendors and will help guide your decision making. We loved all the extra effort she put in for us and would use her again in a heartbeat

ghout the whole process. She was super professional, always available to answer questions, offer guidance, and genuinely made us feel so taken care of. She was also incredibly fun to work with! My biggest regret was not hiring her to do even more - she truly made the process so seamless and stress free. We had the absolute best wedding day and I credit most of that to Shannon! She totally took over all of our vendor communication, helped everyone stay on track, and helped put out fires that, frankly, I didn't even know about until after the fact (she's that good). All we had to do was get married and enjoy ourselves! Thank you again, Shannon & the entire team for everything!

ners before hiring her, and I know 1000% I made the right decision. From the start, she was organized, efficient, and kept us on track. We're not from Newport, RI where our wedding was, so we wanted someone who knew the area and could recommend vendors. We had the BEST vendor team based on Shannon's recommendations and guidance. She was there for us every single step of the way - from the big decisions like DJ vs Band to the small ones like where to place the seating chart sign, she was on top of it all. When our printer missed a whole table of notes we'd written, she printed them out the night before - this is just one example of her making our wedding a seamless, magical experience for us. Also, just as importantly, she was a joy to work with. Before, during, and after our wedding, I was so happy she was the one who was there for us. Our parents both commented on how amazing she was, and our wedding party was so thankful they had her to go to. My one regret is that I only plan to get married once, so unfortunately, I won't have the chance to work with her again. THANK YOU SHANNON!

worry-free. Even though we hired Shannon for day-of coordination, she made herself available to answer questions and support us months out. Over six months out from the wedding, she jumped in to help resolve issues with our hotel, and provided useful recommendations and tips that weren't even on our radar. Definitely above and beyond the call of duty! As we got closer to the wedding, she plugged in completely, and knew all of the details better than we knew them ourselves. Her helpful emails and check-ins ensured we stayed organized and on track in the final crunch weeks. The real magic happened on the week and day of the wedding. We had a number of last minute guest changes, some that I wasn't even aware of until I was walking down the aisle! She took care of everything - Reorganizing seating and working with the caterer, so that everything was fixed before I even knew there was an issue. Throughout the night, she made sure our vendors were where they needed to be, things were running on time, and logistics were in play, allowing us to kick back, talk to our guests, and dance the night away. She also handled all of the set up and break down - Something that I surely would not have wanted to do, or had time to do! We thought the prices were completely reasonable, and in reflecting on the wedding, have said that SES Events is the best money we spent all wedding. I would recommend Shannon and her team in a heartbeat.

o a true friend and wonderful human being! We are so lucky to have worked with Shannon all of the days leading up to our wedding and the entire wedding weekend. Shannon took care of every single detail, worked seamlessly with our vendors and brought our vision to life. Shannon truly goes above and beyond for her clients, always available for a call, zoom or email catch up, with so much care in everything she does. I already miss working with Shannon, so happy to call her a friend for life! XO

cult situation was invaluable. She is responsive, detail-oriented and professional. She really cares about her couples and making their day perfect! The best decision we made was to work with Shannon, we cannot recommend her enough.

edding is one of the most meaningful days of your lifetime and it can be stressful to commit to different vendors and wonder if they will truly care as much as you do, but look no further if you are searching for planning & coordination help because Shannon is the real deal and will have your back and care about your event like she is your family or best friend. She went above and beyond my expectations and made me feel supported as I navigated an otherwise seemingly isolated and stressful planning experience. She is well worth the investment and I could not have sat back and enjoyed/relaxed on my day without her there.

nicate with all the vendors and always has a smile on her face. Thank you Shannon for all of your hard in making Maggie and Brandon's wedding a day to remember forever!

eptional expertise, dedication, and warmth shone through, transforming our special day into a truly magical and unforgettable experience. Brides working with Shannon will be the best decision you ever make! Shannon’s meticulous attention to detail and creative vision ensured that every aspect of our wedding was nothing short of perfection. From the stunning floral arrangements to seamless coordination, she exceeded our expectations in every way. Shannon took the time to understand our unique style and preferences, infusing her professional insight to craft a celebration that was beautifully tailored to us. One of the most remarkable qualities Shannon possesses is her ability to make the entire planning process stress-free and enjoyable. Her organizational skills and calm demeanor reassured us every step of the way, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion without a single worry. She handled every challenge with grace and efficiency, ensuring that everything ran smoothly on the big day. This allowed us to fully enjoy the day because we could completely trust Shannon had it covered (and she did!!) This had a noticeable impact as countless family and friends congratulated me on being a "chill" bride again full credit to Shannon. Beyond her exceptional skills as a wedding planner, Shannon is a genuinely wonderful person. Her friendly and approachable nature made working with her an absolute delight. She took the time to build a personal connection with us, and we are so grateful to now consider her a friend. Shannon’s warmth and positivity radiate in everything she does, making her an invaluable presence in the wedding planning process. Thanks to Shannon and SES Events, our wedding day was a dream come true, filled with love, laughter, and so much FUN! We cannot recommend Shannon highly enough to anyone seeking a wedding planner who will go above and beyond to create a beautiful, perfect, and stress-free celebration. Thank you, Shannon, for making our wedding day everything we envisioned and more!

f ALL of the details, provided great guidance, and was really responsive to what we needed. She provided tailored, personalized services that transformed our wedding planning from overwhelming to entirely doable. She created order out of a chaotic sea of vendors and logistics. She has such a great combo of a strong network, deep experience, and an openness to new/unique ideas and approaches. She deserves five MORE stars for handling *several* curveballs on our actual wedding day. With her ability to pivot, her grace under pressure, and her straightforward approach, she saved us major headaches and let us focus on our guests and dancing :) Many, many thanks to Shannon.

’t fun. Shannon uses her knowledge and positive relationships with other services/venders to make your day is exactly how you wanted it. She’ll keep you on track throughout the entire process (which at times being a new mom was definitely hard for me). Her warm and inviting personality felt like a comfort blanket that took away all the stress. I was able to enjoy my entire wedding day because she took the reigns and was an absolute BOSS ensuring everything was on time and running smoothly. Having Shannon in my corner was the absolute best decision I made.

for us with vendor recommendations and scheduling our timeline. Throughout the process, all our questions and concerns were swiftly addressed and resolved with impressive results, and always followed by ‘..is there anything else you’d like me to do for you?’ Shannon kept us on task and on schedule every step of the way from our beginning ideas until the last glass was gathered after the reception. We may not have been the easiest clients to work with (overtasking ourselves and missing deadlines), but Shannon picked up the pieces and tied up all our loose ends in an encouraging and friendly manner. I have no reservations, whatsoever in recommending Shannon with the highest of regards.

nd she went above and beyond. She had recommendations and options for every vendor we asked about, she was incredibly organized and punctual with anything we asked of her, and she was knowledgable and calm throughout it all which kept us from being stressed throughout the process. She is also just an incredibly thoughtful and kind person - during planning she learned that my mom passed away when I was younger, and during our wedding week she surprised me with a charm that had a photo of me and my mom (she worked with my fiancé to find it) for my flower bouquet 🥹 There was an unexpected issue with our trolley on our wedding day (brakes went out!) and Shannon handled everything so seamlessly that I didn't even know it happened until replacement transportation showed up, right on time. Hire SES!!!

ackage; however, she was so much more than a day-of- coordinator. From the minute we hired Shannon (about a year before our wedding) she made herself available to answer any of our questions. About three months before our big day, she was all ours :). We had several calls, a site visit, and many text messages leading up to the big day. Shannon handled everything from communication between my vendors (huge help having her take this off my plate, no bride wants to answer a million questions before their wedding day), managing our rehearsal, keeping my thoughts positive while the forecast showed nothing but rain for the day of, assistance with day-of set-up, day-of questions/headaches, ensuring everything ran on schedule, and most importantly, she was there to make sure my husband and I had the most amazing day. Plus, so much more! Shannon was such a delight to work with, we can't recommend her enough. I promise, this could be the best investment you make for your big day!

Shannon was with us every step of the way and we owe so much credit to her for the perfect day that we had. Shannon is organized, professional, responsive, patient, kind, and a true expert at what she does.

imate family ceremony in Dec. and then a 200+ person reception in July. Shannon was infinitely patient with us as we kept changing our ideas about when our reception would be, and also incredibly helpful in narrowing and directing our ideas about reception venue--she totally nailed our style. One of my favorite parts of working with Shannon is that she only tells you about a problem once she's found a solution--and she can change plans on a dime without (seemingly) breaking a sweat (for example--she found us a new welcome party venue a month out from the event). She also has a fabulous way of representing you to your vendors, and making sure everyone has all the information and details they need! Definitely work with Shannon!

(every vendor we worked with commented on how organized, efficient and kind she is). She treats you like a true friend and is always true to her promises. I've always been a hands-on, do-it-myself kind of person so letting someone else plan my wedding of all things was way out of my comfort zone. Shannon proved to me that relinquishing control brought the best outcome I could have ever imagined -the perfect wedding!! She's amazing and I would hire here again in a heartbeat, I have no advice on what could be done better because it was all perfect. We love Shannon and it meant a lot for her to have been with us during our wedding journey❤️ Jenn and Cedric P.

about hiring a day of coordinator DO NOT hesitate to hire Shannon. I tell everyone to think of it as an insurance policy on a day you’re spending so much on already. Without her my decor dreams wouldn’t have been possible as my venue wouldn’t setup my flowers since they were rentals and they said flowers had to be set up by a florist or a family member. She checked in frequently. Made sure everyone was comfortable and dealt with all my vendors. She ensured my wedding day ran smoothly and on time. I never felt rushed going to the next task and she coordinated with my photographer and DJ to ensure I got everything I wanted. I had an issue with the venue not setting up enough chairs for my ceremony and she handled it promptly. I hear couples who say they didn’t eat on their wedding day and she ensured that we had as much time as we wanted to eat and ensured we ate everything at our wedding!! I can’t imagine what issues she handled behind the scenes as I know of stories of how she saved the day for other couples regarding day of trolley breakdowns and such. Shannon was personable and is extremely knowledgable in her field. Her pricing is the BEST out of all the ones I reached out to which is crazy because she is SO experienced and great at what she does. I would recommend her over and over again.

ing experience and incredibly reliable. I honestly cannot imagine our wedding without her expertise and support. Shannon is incredibly organized, resourceful, and just on top of everything. Any question, comment, concern we had - she had an answer. She doesn't miss a beat. She is a logistical queen. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but Shannon took a huge weight off our shoulders and was someone we knew we could trust to execute our vision. She was a great liaison between us and our other vendors, especially the weeks leading up to our wedding. We had one vendor, our venue, that was a bit of a nightmare to a communicate with and it just got extremely frustrating... but then we let Shannon know what was going on and she came in and took over all communications with our venue and handled all the issues in a very clear and professional manner - taking a MASSIVE burden and stress off us. I cannot say enough about having someone who is in the business and working with the other vendors to be your #1 advocate leading up to your wedding day. We knew she had our best interests in mind and truly was our #1 ally leading up to the wedding. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and she was there for absolutely any question/comment/concern we had. Whether it was running upstairs to get me something I forgot in my suite, making sure the venue put the right easels out for signs, ensuring we had food and drinks the whole night, or making sure that your crazy uncle isn't getting too crazy - Shannon is 100% there for it and committed to making your wedding as seamless, stress-free, and fun as possible. She is there for you to have the best wedding you can imagine and is so dedicated. She went above and beyond and is the reason we were able to be so present the day of our wedding as she handled ALL the little details that trust me - you don't want to deal with the week or day of your wedding. HIRE HER!!! Best wedding investment you can make. Thank you Shannon!!!!

hannon is single handedly the reason I was so relaxed! She gets things done, keeps people in line (in a nice but firm way - exactly what you need) and is just so great to be around. I cannot imagine how my wedding day would have run without her. Even if you have a venue coordinator, you need Shannon as part of your team!!

without her. Shannon’s attention to detail and level of organization are unmatched. Our entire wedding party also commented that Shannon was incredible to work with her. We are forever grateful to her for the support she provided. If you are looking for a planner, hire Shannon. You will not regret it.

iable, creative, solution-oriented, easily accessible, the list goes on. She laughed (a lot ) with us, she cried with us, and everything between. Don’t even think about it – just hire Shannon. Knowing how much effort she put into our event now, she was easily worth double or triple!!

ng other reviews and selecting vendors for our wedding - I am a (somewhat neurotic), hyper-type-A personality with high expectations and attention to detail. We brought Shannon on as a month-of planner when we began running into issues with our venue as it was a new venue and they were still in the process of figuring many things out. Shannon was nothing short of a miracle. Relatively quickly after meeting Shannon, we upgraded our package to rely more on Shannon's expertise with a more hands-on planning package and, boy, are we glad we did! Shannon is meticulous, super responsive, kind, and honest. She advocated for us and was our biggest supporter in the planning process. She coordinated all of our vendors, worked with us to create an amazing timeline and STUCK TO IT! Bonus, she somehow manifested 70 degree sunshine in mid-November in New England. Shannon truly was the best thing to happen to us during our wedding. Do not think twice about hiring her!!

s was incredible and truly invaluable. From the moment I submitted an inquiry to SES Events page, Shannon was prompt, professional, and personable. By the time I was able to connect with Shannon, I had already found & booked my venue, so she built a “partial planning package” with a la carte add-on service options. Shannon was a dream to work with because I truly feel like she got to know me as a person & gal pal. She took the time to learn my vision and even the little quirks I have (I hate the color pink and I’m very particular about the type of font we should use) She brought fresh new ideas to the table and cohesively incorporated my ideas to make sure the vibe of the wedding made sense. During my wedding planning process, I was promoted to a more demanding position at work, COVID was still trying to make a comeback and my fiancé moved to another country & back to the US only to pick up and have both of us move to a new city the week before my wedding; Shannon knew when I was stressed out and trying to manage too much and really took things off the plate. (i.e., stepping in to solve the problem when other vendors were about to have me lose my mind!). Shannon remembered things or detailed ideas that I would mention in passing while on the phone at the start of our relationship and would bring them up to me to make sure they weren't forgotten and a decision had been made on those items/comments/ideas. She was so patient with me when life would get in the way of planning and my responses were slower than usual, she knew when to push and when to give. When Shannon is given a task list, she bangs it out quickly & precisely, keeps you in the loop on any pending items, AND fights for you to make sure you’re having the best outcome. We laughed, I cried, and she supported, solved, and delivered. Speaking bride to bride, when you’re making the budget and trying to see what's important and what's not… listen to me when I say, no one actually cares about the upgraded champagne flute, get the cheap one and spend your money on Shannon’s expertise you’ll thank whoever your God may be for Shannon pretty early on in the process. Shannon is worth a million bucks.

kind, witty, and overall an incredible coordinator. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was the point of person the week of the wedding, which took a lot of stress off my plate. We honestly couldn't have done this all without her and her expertise.

king sure our families and bridal party were welcome taken care of during our wedding weekend. We live in NYC, so having Shannon's RI expertise was invaluable! We were so lucky to have someone so kind, organized, and thoughtful support us through the wedding planning process!

questions. She was very hands on and would frequently check up on us as the wedding got closer. On the actual wedding week, Shannon took over communicating with all the vendors so we would not have to, and this was super helpful and allowed us to relax a little more during an already stressful week! Shannon’s organization and attention to detail allowed me to really enjoy my wedding day and we could not have done it with out her! She is the best!

mate as we were paying for the wedding ourselves and wanted to stay in budget of $10k. I am originally from Providence but have been living in Tampa for the past few years. Finding a venue that would be in budget but still looked classy, romantic and most importantly not cheap was more then I bargained for! I was not prepared for how much work planning a wedding would be! I found Shannon on The Knot and after reading reviews knew I needed to book with her! I booked full planning and wedding design and I am so happy I did! I had no idea of what I wanted except I wanted my wedding to look pretty and I wanted everyone to have a good time! Shannon asked all the right questions to hone in on what I truly wanted. Shannon had numerous recommendations (all within budget of course) Shannon kept me and all the vendors on track, I would not have been able to pull off the wedding we had without her! The knowledge and expertise she brought to the table was priceless! The only thing I would change about working with her would be booking her sooner to save myself the headache and stress I had trying to plan a wedding without her! I could really write a book on how great Shannon was, her communication was A1! She was available 24/7 the week of my wedding to answer any and all questions I had! She helped calm our screaming toddler when he refused to walk down the isle and took him off to calm down when he had a full blown meltdown while we said our vows and did our handfasting ceremony, she eased my worries when there was an impromptu Bolivian festival on the State House steps where I planned to take wedding photos. We got our shots and the dancers even joined in for a couple, my day was magical thanks to Shannon! She even joined us in some dancing at the end of the night, happy to say Shannon was a friend during one of the most important times of my life!

e no details were missed, helped us review our contracts and was always available to answer any question we had. We wanted our wedding to have a strict order of events to move the day as quickly as possible to allow for as much time to dance and Shannon worked with each of our vendors to make sure this came to life and our day went without any issues. I would 100% recommend Shannon, for full planning or just help the day off, your stress level will go down significantly with her help!

to assure us that despite “inevitable” issues the weekend of the wedding it would be all right. However, in our mind if we planned enough we could ensure there was no need for contingency plans. As the wedding approached though we realized there was just too much for a single couple to be able to juggle leading up to, and on the day of our wedding… at least while ensuring that we were able to enjoy our special day as stress free as possible. Shannon was the answer to all of that. We brought Shannon into our vendor team late in the process, at this point we already had most of our vendors selected and hired. However, we wanted help with coordinating our vendors, ensuring all of the logistics were solidified, planning and executing on the decor aesthetic we were looking for, and finally creating the timeline for the day of the wedding. In what will become a common theme Shannon exceeded our expectations. We knew in order to give up control over these critical components of the wedding we would need somebody reliable, accountable, and available; again an area that Shannon went above and beyond in. Shannon truly runs events she is involved in as if they were her own. She reaches out to vendors and members of the family / wedding party independently to coordinate logistics, ensures no key element to the success of the event goes overlooked, reaches out regularly and proactively with updates, and potentially most importantly, follows up with couples on action items that they owned to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. These traits and her approach to event planning ensured not just a great event, but a genuinely enjoyable and less stressful planning process. Furthermore, Shannon went above and beyond our expectations of an event planner by helping us consolidate our vendors’ contract payment terms into a single document to ensure timely and full payment, recommending reliable and trustworthy vendors she has worked with in the past to round out our vendor team (such as dessert and transportation), helping us procure specific design elements for decoration to fully bring our vision together, and critically brought her experience and expertise to help advise on things that would have otherwise been overlooked or not considered. On the day of, Shannon brought in an assistant to help coordinate logistics across multiple sites so the wedding party could get ready off site while ensuring that all of the vendors were able to get access to and set up at the site of the ceremony and reception. I’m sure there were more roles that she played the day of such as coordinating the movement of decorations between ceremony and reception space, however, these were done so expertly that we as a couple were minimally involved and truly were able to be present at and enjoy our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with our friends, families and guests. Shannon was easily the MVP of our vendor team, ensuring that if there was an issue that occurred that weekend even we as the couple didn’t know. Without her our wedding would not have been the success of an event that it was. Our advice to all of our newly engaged friends has been to leave it to the professionals, get a wedding planner, and if possible get Shannon!

Our advice to all of our newly engaged friends has been to leave it to the professionals, get a wedding planner, and if possible get Shannon!

times, I was about to give up. Shannon took so much of the stressors away from us. She worked with all the vendors and made sure to get us the best deals. I received so many amazing compliments from other vendors saying they enjoyed working alongside Shannon. As someone who has a hard time making decisions, Shannon stepped right in. She is FABULOUS and worth every penny. I love that she offers an array of services. We decided to book her for the entire process and we were not disappointed.

hannon kept in contact regularly leading up to our wedding, touching base and making sure she truly understood what our vision was so on the day of, we didn’t have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy the moment! She took care of all the set up and coordination with the other vendors and made sure our day flowed seamlessly. We received many compliments from our other vendors on how great Shannon was to work with as well. Thank you, Shannon, from making our special day such a success!

w for Shannon is an extremely difficult task because it is nearly impossible for me to capture in words all the ways in which she helped my wife and I piece together the wedding of our dreams. She didn't just make our lives easier, she made the experience of planning itself more enjoyable for us. Shannon is organized, thorough, easy to work with, and was always willing and able to go to bat for us when something came up. Outside of wedding logistics, she took care of us as people. As the wedding approached her check ins became more frequent until the week of when she would check in every morning just to see how we were doing. By the time our wedding date arrived she had become more of a friend than a vendor. Oh and she's great company to hang with over mudslides. If you want to hire Clark Kent as your wedding planner then give Shannon a call because when the bright lights come on, she throws on her cape and comes to the rescue.

for in a wedding planner. I made this decision back in May that I wanted extra help with month of coordination and day of coordination because I knew the small details were important to me. When I reached out to multiple planners, Shannon was simply the best. From immediately booking me for a phone consult, sending me back a detailed run down of all that we discussed and truly making me feel heard. After hiring Shannon, I truly felt like I got the best one on one service ever. We set up appointments went over details. She provided so much insight and helped me really see some of the details that I could have missed from the room decor to the fact I forgot all about decorating the sweetheart table. She was the a godsend with month of coordination, she put together the most detailed timeline for our vendors to keep everyone on track and in the loop. AND she put together a bridal party timeline to such detail that we actually ran PERFECTLY on time. So many of our guests mentioned to me, how smoothly our wedding ran and I 100 percent attribute that to having Shannon and SES events on my team. If you need a wedding planner, pick Shannon because she truly made my wedding everything I wanted it to be!

she went to work putting together our timeline and helping us tie to together what the day would look like. She was so supportive from day one (months before her "month-of" began) and was always available for a zoom call or casual drinks. She immediately took the stress off our shoulders and even after the wedding still made us feel like we were the most important clients she had. On the actual wedding day, Shannon was everywhere, and the day went so perfectly and so smoothly I can't imagine what we would have done without her. She is so professional but also so kind and warm at the same time. She cares about her couples as more than just clients and you can tell it makes such a difference. Our entire bridal party, family and all of our vendors were so impressed with her, we're still getting compliments on what a rock star our wedding planner was. The week leading up to the wedding Shannon would send us texts just checking in on our mental states, always there to listen to any small worry or to join in the excitement. She took over as communicator to our vendors so that week/day of we really had nothing to worry about. Looking back on the day, my husband and I whole heartedly agree that Shannon was the best decision we made and our wedding day reflected that. She's an incredible wedding planner but also and incredible person, you cannot go wrong hiring her - SHE'S THE BEST!
