Julia made our year of wedding planning so smooth and easy. From communicating with vendors, keeping us on track, giving us much needed breaks, and being so kind and hardworking, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding planner and planning experience. I am a type A person, Julia did a great job through the whole process of handling all the details that I didn’t have time for but also making me feel super involved. which we were a part of so we already had some first hand knowledge. We met with Julia in June/July with the timeline of wanting the wedding in the following spring (~8-9 months planning timeline). At the time, we did not have anything contracted ourselves (no venue was booked yet). During our initial brunch meeting with Julia, you can immediately see that she is very coordinated/organized in her work, patient, and very professional, but also that she is on top of her business and vendors to ensure your big day goes according to plan. She can be direct when she needs to be, and that’s truly what you need when someone is coordinating your big day. My husband and I both are young professionals, and simply would not have had the time nor ability to arrange everything ourselves to the satisfactory extent which Julia was able to assist with. She kept us aware of our scheduling deadlines, and helped nudge us in the right direction when indecision could potentially impact the contractual schedule/timeline for the wedding planning. We used many of her preferred vendors, and all of them were very professional and timely. When the vendors were not up to satisfactory standards, Julia was quick to redirect us to ensure that we met our timeline (and she is continually updating her preferred vendor list based on their performances). We did not have any issues on our big day, and minor items were very discreetly handled by Julia during the wedding and the guests had no idea. Looking back on the wedding day, my husband and I have zero complaints and are very happy that we went with Julia from Set In Stone. It was a perfect evening.

Within minutes of texting her, she responded and knew exactly where they were - TWO. MONTHS. LATER. Wedding brain is so real, but Julia made it feel like a breeze - especially at the two month mark when I had just graduated nursing school, passed my NCLEX, and started a new job the week of our wedding. She was my go to girl for everything and my only regret is that we can’t do it all over again!

Another important thing she did was kindly mention any time I wasn’t thinking through everything well enough. As an example, she suggested I hire the wait staff for the clean up hour to make sure we didn’t get penalized by the venue. I hadn’t even considered that, but she made the right call.

Bryce and I got a lot out of the way pretty early on in the planning process so where able to take a break for 2 months, but as soon as we realized we needed to start planning again she was there ready with the next things that needed to happen. She is prompt with her email response and will meet at a coffee shop or at her home with her cute little pups! I work 6 days a week and was unable to meet with most of the vendors multiple times during the planning process; well we had a little hiccup with a vendor and let me tell you Julia fully had our backs! I kept getting told I was so calm the day of my wedding and the reason for that is Julia. She made everything stress free and had the timeline so well planned I didn’t have to worry about anything the day of. I’ve already recommended her to a few of my friends to plan their weddings!

She handled all vendor communication 1-2 months before the wedding, created the ceremony & reception hall floor plans, made a day-of timeline, and executed our day wonderfully. She also reworks the day-of schedule as little hiccups come up throughout the day but still makes sure everything gets done before the end of your event. If there is any advice I can give to fellow brides, it’s this: hire a coordinator, and let it be Julia. It’s 100% worth it. You not only hire someone who is super easy to work with and will execute your day amazingly; you also gain a wonderful friend in your life. Julia and I still text here and there even after my wedding; she truly is such a down to earth human that I cannot thank enough!

ur original wedding date was 4/5/20 and that navigation had a lot of ups and downs for me as the bride and my husband as well. She is very kind and patient and was even a shoulder to cry on when we had to reschedule so many times. On the day of our wedding I don’t remember stressing at all because she had it all covered. Navigating a "covid wedding" was not easy but she was so very helpful and offered so many suggestions as far as updating the seating layout to allow for the best space, to doing a private sparkler photo shoot for bride and groom instead of a grand exit (we didn't want to cut out any dancing time :) ).
