Set the Date

Staci is amazing. She custom made my invitations so they would be exactly what I wanted. She worked with the colors I wanted and had plenty of suggestions. She was patient and thorough. I couldn't be happier with my invitations and I can't wait to send them out to our guests. Thanks Staci!

I had a specific invitation in mind and couldn't find it in the books. I went for custom and went to 2 vendors prior to selecting Set the Date. They by far had the best price, the others wanted to charge me 3x more than this place. The girls were very nice. We went over all of my selections on our initial visit and then they emailed me the proofs of the wording and fonts for approval. They are only open 3x week for a couple of hours, but very responsive via email. Just 2 points of advice if you use them. 1. Make sure you get a swatch of the ribbon you want to use (if you are using one on your invite). I didn't and was kicking myself for it because the color was a few shades darker than what I expected so it didn't match my theme as I had wanted. I wish they would have suggested this to me or even shown me the ribbon in person. 2. Make sure they write down the color of paper/envelopes on your deposit receipt or send it in an email. I wanted 2 layers of paper in 2 colors, the background paper was correct, the front was not. I wanted a pearly shiny white and I got a linen textured matte white which made the print look rather dull. What happened was she wrote down the paper colors on a scrap paper which probably got lost and then she asked me on an email what colors I wanted. I explained to her the colors, but of course did not have the name or id number of the paper. You don't see these 2 things on your email proofs. So when I picked up the 150 hand made invites a week before I had to send them out, it was too late to fix and I didn't have the heart to tell her the paper was wrong but I was really sad about it. But, the price for custom made invites cannot be beat in the area, trust me I looked. I have seen her other invitations and they are beautiful. I would go back despite the paper mishap, and recommend to other brides. It was just a mistake and like I said, the price for custom made is unbelievable, the others are charging 3x what she is. It's even affordable with the addresses printed on the envelopes which can usually get expensive and would have been a pain to get done myself.

I ordered my wedding invites from Set the Date and I could not be happier. Marla and Staci were great to work with and I have received numerous compliments on my invites. They were very patient with me and my invitations came out even better than expected. I highly recommend this vendor!
