Seven-Degrees gave us the dream wedding we never knew we wanted. The venue is so beautiful and modern and the staff are so friendly that we knew it was the perfect place for us during our first visit. Not only did they create a beautiful day for us, but they created the best wedding meal ever! Our guests are still raving about the food. Above all else, the staff is amazing. Scott is the best coordinator in the entire world! We never felt stressed by the wedding planning because we were in good hands with him. He fit right in with us, with our sense of humor and our vision. When he gave us our first tour of the venue, we knew we wanted him as the coordinator. He became our best friend during the wedding planning process! We joked, we laughed, we cried. On the day of the wedding, he truly takes care of the couple, he made sure we always had drinks, he provided us with our own tray of hors d’oeuvres to make sure we didn’t starve, and took care of all the details to make sure we had fun and nothing to worry about. My husband and I had a few criteria going into a venue: open bar, good food for a plated meal, and fun! Seven-Degrees helped us accomplish that and so much more. You will not regret having your wedding here. It truly is the perfect stage to starting your forever!

Seven-Degrees turned out to be the perfect venue for my now husband and I. We initially wanted something "on the water" or with ocean views, and once we found out just how much more those venues cost (for our planned list of 200 guests), we decided to broaden our horizons; and are so glad we did. Seven-Degrees was the perfect modern venue, with all of the A/V, lighting and space for everything we could want. It's also less than a mile from the ocean, so taking pre-ceremony shots on the beach was super convenient; so we still got some of our ocean-front vibes that we wanted. It was important for us as a gay couple to be sure that our venue was completely LGBT friendly, and had handled LGBT weddings in the past; and the staff at Seven-Degrees could not have made us feel more comfortable. We viewed it as a bit of a blank canvas, meaning unless you were to go super traditional, the venue can take on any look you desire - just look at the variety of photos from different events and you'll see the possibilities. We also had the challenge of planning the wedding from across the country, and the team at Seven-Degrees made that process as simple as possible. Tabatha who first showed us around and provided the initial quote was so patient and accommodating with us, and really helped us to see the value in the venue, open our eyes to some options we hadn't yet considered, and made us feel totally comfortable. Our coordinator, Scott was equally wonderful. We didn't have a wedding planner (read: did 90% of the work myself), and Scott was our go-to for all the random questions that arise as you're planning, especially in the month or two before the big day. He helped guide us in some of our decisions that we just were clueless on, steered us away from choices that might not have yielded the result we wanted, and welcomed our crazier ideas with open arms. We had multiple performance pieces and timing aspects to our reception, and Scott executed them flawlessly, pushed us through our outfit changes (three outfits each by the time the reception was done!), and corralled our wedding party and parents in all the ways we needed most. Also of importance: the food! You never really know when you're choosing a venue (especially one that requires you to use their on site chef and menus) how the food is going to turn out. But we took a chance and could not have been happier. Every single guest at our wedding has not stopped raving about the food, and loved every bit. Highly recommend the short ribs! The venue also has lots of add-ons to choose from that can help spruce up the ceremony area, the reception space, or your entry/exit area. Picking from those options made it so simple for us to enhance the already amazing spaces. All in all, we couldn't be happier to have celebrated the biggest day of our lives at this gorgeous venue and can't thank everyone at Seven-Degrees for all of their help and support in executing our perfect day.

On the day of the wedding, Scott was on top of everything, even with the vendors, kindly letting everyone know to give us (the bride and groom) space and time to eat dinner, everything went according to plan, and even when there was a slight hiccup with the flowers (this was our fault), he told us that he would take care of everything and not to worry, and YES everything came out amazing. The venue itself is beautiful and BIG! We got the red carpet on the driveway which really gave that extra umph! and all the guests loved it. The venue also provides an array of selections of decorations (some for a price). But I can't even begin to say how AMAZING the FOOD was! Most weddings we've been to, the food is always mediocre at best. But Seven Degrees so delicious that all the guests raved about it and cleaned the plate. We ordered the prime ribeye steak, the seabass (OMG to die for), and the creme brulee as our dessert. All were super delicious. BRIDES - PLEASE CONSIDER SEVEN DEGREES FOR YOUR WEDDING. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! And thank you Scott!! We evaluated multiples venues and eventually chose [seven-degrees]. At no point, did we regret our decision. Scott Tepper was our day of wedding coordinator and from day one he acted professionally. Not only was he very responsive and easy to work with, he’d give good suggestions on everything from timeline to decorations. On the day of our wedding, we had no worries as he kept everything on time, kept the wedding party on task, and most importantly kept us hydrated, fed, and confident so we could enjoy the moment. The venue is beautiful and classy with a diverse selection of decorations to add character. For extra added bonus, the food (sockeye salmon and short rib) was universally acclaimed as delectable by our guests. All of this culminated in an amazing wedding that we and our friends and family will always cherish. Thank you [seven-degrees] and especially Scott!

This review is LONG overdue, as I got married in February, but I CANNOT say enough good things about this venue! When my husband and I first visited the venue, after gawking at the online photos, we immediately fell in love. We absolutely loved that we could hold an outdoor ceremony and the indoor reception was steps away. We knew that getting married in February would also mean gambling with the weather, and seven-degrees had an amazing rain contingency plan. It actually ended up raining on our wedding day, but the sky cleared out just in time for our ceremony, and the team was so on top of making many last minute adjustments to accommodate for the weather. Other than the venue and location, THE FOOD WAS SO SO SO AMAZING. We actually received many comments on how BOMB the food was and how it was probably the best wedding food any of our guests have ever had. Since the kitchen is in house, you’re able to customize the menu to your liking. The Chef did not disappoint with our Spanish and Japanese and Prime Rib station! I wish I had asked for take home boxes so I could really enjoy it after the wedding. They were also very accommodating with our dessert and after snacks vendor! Lastly, our coordinator, Tiffany was AMAZING. She created a comfortable environment when we first met and we immediately knew that we were in good hands. No request was ever too big, and we appreciated the over communication on her end. My husband and I cannot recommend seven-degrees enough to be your wedding venue. If we had a disposable fund, we would choose seven-degrees to be the venue for our next party!

I cannot day enough amazing things about this venue. They were so amazing to work with. A wedding is such a special and intimate day, and they made it just that. I loved Seven Degrees because of the venue and location, but their modern and romantic decor just put it over the top. I loved the decor they had during their winter months, which was when our wedding was, and it was such so wonderful and romantic and very much our dream wedding. The beautiful location says so much for itself but the staff really puts this venue where it’s at. Everyone was so wonderful to work with. My planner, Scott, was so great. He was amazing to work with, answered my endless questions, and truly was remarkable. The day of he made things seem effortless in such a highly emotional and special day. Everything else about this venue is just so great. The food was absolutely amazing, the drinks were amazing. Our day was so special and it’s all thanks to seven degrees.

If you’re looking to get married in Laguna Beach, Seven-Degrees is the place. We were married in October, and our coordinator Scott was extremely helpful from beginning to end, going above and beyond always. We ran into a few issues with our outside vendors, but Scott stepped in to ensure that everything went smoothly. The day of our wedding, he kept the event flowing and made sure our guests were where they needed to be. Outside of the amazing hospitality, the food and beverage service was great. Upon entry, guests were handed a glass of champagne, which got them in the party mood immediately. We still have guests talking about the bacon wrapped blue cheese dates, miso salmon, and short ribs. In terms of budget, we couldn’t have chosen a better venue. Seven-Degrees worked with us to meet all of our needs and made the process of working with outside vendors relatively easy. Not only was it a beautiful location, but an overall pain-free wedding planning experience. If you’re still venue hunting, I would 100% recommend touring the site and giving them a call.

When we were looking at venues, my husband and I knew really quickly and easily that Seven Degrees was the place that we wanted to get married. It's modern, but not too modern, and incredibly beautiful. All of our guests had an amazing time, and commented on how great the venue and the food were. Our photographer commented that our wedding day was the most well run/smoothest that she had been to, and some of our guests too! We really had the best day, so thank you!

We had our dream wedding at Seven-Degrees! Kathryn Towers was an incredible wedding coordinator, we couldn't have done it without her! The venue was gorgeous, the food was fabulous, and the artwork was so cool! We would recommend this venue to anyone who wants to have their wedding in a really unique/modern space. The atmosphere was magical. The lighting was amazing, and everything was very professional. Best night of our lives! Thank you Seven-Degrees!

My husband and I got married here on October 6, 2018 and we absolutely had our dream wedding here and could not have gotten there without our coordinator's help - Malak Alhafni. Our planning started off a little rocky with some coordinator turnover but Malak truly came through and well exceeded expectations and eliminated any worries we had! From day one, Malak was extremely professional, prompt, kind, and organized. On the day of the wedding she was cool as a cucumber while helping us herd our 50+ family guests in the bridal suite to the drive way for photos and also tended to other family members who needed more attention. Beyond her assistance, the venue in itself was outstanding. Our guests could not stop saying how amazing and how it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Our wedding has passed a few weeks already and guests are still raving about the food! The property was also breath taking and expansive for guests to explore. We absolutely had the most memorable wedding here and do not regret moving forward with Seven Degrees.

I stumbled upon this venue while searching online for wedding venues. It sounded "different" & intrigued me. My daughter & I visited & we were instantly hooked! Can't compare to a golf course or hotel, this was so unique & beautiful! Ceremony & cocktail hour outside upstairs while gazing into the hills of Laguna Canyon, then reception downstairs in the "media room," similar to a fancy club. They have their own audio/visual equipment & monitors throughout where personal photos scrolled all evening, colored lights, the whole bit. Sound system was amazing! But the food? Everything was SO delicious, wish I could have a dinner there! All our guests were amazed at how wonderful everything was. Scott, our coordinator, was the best--the evening flowed with no snafus, and for the first time in my life I didn't have any complaints! Several of my daughter's friends said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If you want a venue that will blow your guests away, this is it.

We came across Seven Degrees after seeing a couple of our friends attending weddings here. It looked not only beautiful but a party, which is the perfect combination we were looking for in a venue. The modern sleekness mixed with the rave reviews we were reading and hearing about the food, we were sold quickly. It was actually our first venue visit we made for our list. The tour was easy to set up as staff is super communicative. We fell in love with our first venue coordinator but unfortunately, she left Seven Degrees and we were given another venue coordinator, which we did not mind as Seven Degrees was accommodating to understanding that we needed a first meeting all over again. After that, unfortunately, she too left for unforeseen circumstances and we were finally paired with Scott, who was our venue coordinator for about 6 months prior to the wedding (plenty of time together). We were introduced to Scott and quickly found his friendly personality and humor over exchanges of emails to our fitting. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had and never minded to explain things over and over again for us. He offered us many in-person meetings but we were very deep into planning all together that we knew we were still on the right track even if it wasn’t in person. He was thorough in explaining what can be done to incorporate my ideas into the wedding and in finances. He was really patient with me as he quickly found out that I was a ‘write you an email at 3:00AM’ kind of girl. Overall, we really felt like Seven degrees was a blank canvas that was just ready for you to fill with what you got planned. The groom suite and bridal suite were a nice little retreat, cool, and spacious. We got served complimentary champagne and beer for the nerves. The ceremony on the rooftop terrace was a dream. Picture a summer evening with the sun almost setting over the hillside, it’s breath taking. The area with the stairs up to the hillside played a very important role as a beautiful back drop to our first-looks. And we found that a lot of our guest loved taking pictures up there. The way the wedding party all comes up through the bridal suite was awesome as it helped keep what everyone looks like a secret. The reception area is my favorite of this venue. The integrated lighting system made me feel like I was on stage and yet my entire guests had a front row seat to it all. They let you choose different color combinations for the walls and outside, very pretty at night. Spotlights and low lights really set the mood. The food, man were the rumors true. Everything that came out of those doors was amazing; we got tons of compliments on the food from our guests. My favorite was the pistachio crusted sea bass. The drinks were exceptional as well, compliments to the bartenders for not diluting the drinks and making sure everyone had a great time and was not thirsty. Plus, Scott made sure the bars had our signature drinks listed when we forgot to make one ourselves, clutch! We ended with a sparkler exit which was beautiful in that lit up drive way. And even though I was having too much fun to remember what to do at the end, Scott made sure that our things were packed and either stored for a later pick up date or given to my designated family member (and not to mention already in her car) so that we were good to go. I only wish this night lasted longer, we enjoyed every minute of our wedding day and Seven Degrees is a huge reason as to why.

Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach is such a hidden gem! We LOVE having our annual Gala at this beautiful venue. The entire ambiance of the events is so well suited to our needs. The staff are amazing. Malak did such a wonderful job coordinating before our event and the day of. All the Seven Degree staff do such a wonderful job. Each year we have this event, they help us out by going above and beyond. Our guests rave about the food and deserts! The short ribs are delicious. Thanks again for making it possible for us to raise funds on behalf of our organization International Sanctuary.

Where do I begin?? Just had our fabulous wedding at Seven Degrees. Every single guest has raved about the venue, the food, the drinks, and the overall ambiance. Here's my run down: Coordinator: we had Mariah and she was awesome. But honestly, I have the feeling all of the planners here know exactly what to do and what works. The key is not to re-invent the wheel.. If Mariah suggested something-I took her suggestion-since she is the expert! Food: OMG! The food! Everyone has raved about it. We did the cheese & apricot bread, crab cake, and steak skewers for appetizers. For dinner we chose the sea bass and the rib eye with a wine reduction sauce. It was ridiculously good! Location: Seven Degrees is beautiful on it's own.. throw a little flowers on it and it becomes a dream. This venue was built to have parties! Plus they have so many little extras that you can add-and are great! Like chandelier's and lounge couches-for a reasonable price! They also have the permit for the sparklers-super fun! I wouldn't change a thing for our wedding. Take me back!! It was so much fun. They were so on top of it-that it made for one stress free bride.

Bottom line: venue architecture fits the wedding style you want, have your wedding here. Seriously. We had our ceremony and reception here and absolutely loved it. The venue is sleek, modern, and absolutely gorgeous. The staff was super helpful and accommodating to what we wanted. The food was amazing, receiving high praises from our guests. The team at Seven-Degrees know how to host a wedding, and this was reflected on the great time that we and our guests had. Our guests were absolutely blown away with how great the wedding was. The team will work with you throughout the whole planning process so you can have the wedding you want, and we were amazed with the amount of stuff included in the wedding package. Basically, with what the venue provided and the staff's help, it made planning a lot easier. With the amount of back-and-forth communication and changes in details, we are so grateful for how flexible the team was in accommodating us. And, we felt that we were taken of very well on the day of. Shout out to Scott, our coordinator, for making our day special. Super helpful and receptive throughout the whole process.

My Husband and I got married at Seven Degrees this past January 2018. We fell in love with the winter decor, lighting, and tent provided for the ceremony. We loved that both the ceremony and reception site were beautiful, not mention how stunning the building is from front. We then discovered the amazing customer service and professionalism that come with venue. Our wedding planner was AMAZING. And then we were not disappointed by the final product! Everything went better the planned, the food was delicious, and the bar tenders kept our drinking crowd happy. To top it off, nothing is better than Laguna Beach for a wedding, it’s such a special place for guests. 100% happy with Seven Degrees. Can’t wait to go back for a hosted dinner there on our anniversary!

We are so happy that we had our NYE wedding at Seven Degrees! The location was perfect, their team is easy to work with (Kathryn and Tabatha are great), and the food is amazing. We got SO .many compliments on our wedding food! Thank you for helping us create what many people tell us was the best wedding ever! (We're biased and agree!!)

My ex-girlfriend Jenny and I were married at Seven-Degrees back in September. Of all the things we planned for our wedding, having it at Seven-Degrees was probably the best decision we made. The venue is amazing: from the driveway, to the main room, to the rooftop terrace everything was top notch. The food was spectacular: we received nothing but praise for the food that was served that night. (In fact, people are still mentioning the short ribs.) There are many amazing things that the venue offered and delivered for us in spades, but the main reason why we sing its praises is the awesome people that we worked with at Seven-Degrees. My ex-fiancée and I wanted to throw a non-traditional carnival-inspired wedding that was essentially a cavalcade of just random things we enjoy. Basically, it was a chaotic mess of an idea but it was a fun mess. On top of that, we tried to design and make as much as we possibly could ourselves. Obviously this was a recipe for frustration and potential disaster but we were extremely fortunate to have Seven-Degree’s event coordinator Morgan Smith help us out. She is an absolute gem. She was there whenever we needed advisement, was willing to help us out with whatever strange request we had (which there were many), and was very knowledgeable and accommodating during the planning process. With Morgan’s help we felt like we were able to take care of most if not all the things we had on our to-do list, and honestly felt great going into the actual day of the wedding. I can’t begin to stress how important that was for our sanity. During the wedding day itself, everyone at Seven-Degrees were phenomenal. Morgan and her team set up everything perfectly and used their expertise to call the right audibles when needed. Some things looked better than we had even planned! Logistically, everything from setting up the venue, the timing of the event, and the service itself were impeccable; however, it were the smaller things that Morgan did for us that day that really stood out. Morgan made sure to remind and give us moments to breathe, relax, take a break, grab a bite to eat, grab a drink, enjoy life, etc. It were these nuanced personal touches that really made us believe that we absolutely made the right choice with Seven-Degrees. Because of the awesome job Morgan and the staff did for us, the night went off swimmingly, and we’re lucky to able to remember that night forever fondly, free of any mishaps or incidents. I can’t possibly think of anything else we could have asked for. So to everyone at Seven-Degrees (especially Tabitha, Katie, Tim and of course Morgan), thank you so so much, my now-wife and I are eternally grateful.

Our night at Seven Degrees was simply spectacular. We loved every minute of it, and I can’t express my gratitude enough toward Kathryn Towers and the staff at Seven Degrees. From the minute we got there, we knew it was a modern enough venue for us a modern-loving couple. The rooftop dressed up perfectly for our ceremony with drapery above and the hills behind us. The rooftop became the cocktail hour to entertain guests while we went to take pictures. The walk was easy between the rooftop and the reception hall, where our guests enjoyed a video we made and our first dance. They easily accommodated all vendors (if the casino tables I booked last minute), and even granted us a customized menu selection. The price was all inclusive of our fees, catering, and bar, which made it really easy to keep track of our budget. The coordinator and the rest of the staff were great!! Can’t recommend it enough. I can't say enough good things about seven-degrees! They helped the vision we had for our wedding come to life. The highlights of this venue are: the food (best steak I've ever had!), the event coordinator, Kathryn (making sure our wedding was running smoothly before and during the wedding!), and the aesthetic. Seven-degrees is a great mix of modern, whimsy, and natural beauty. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out -- not one major thing went wrong -- which I think speaks volumes of the quality of the staff. My husband and I got married at seven-degrees in March 2017 and had a wonderful experience with them. From the original meeting to planning the wedding itself, everything was handled flawlessly and professionally. Our wedding planner, Kathryn, was a true gem. She walked us through every step of the process, emailed answering all of my questions thoroughly and promptly, and effortlessly executed the many details on the wedding day. The food at seven-degrees is exquisite - we had many guests tell us that it was the best wedding food that they have ever tasted, and many more who commented that ours was the best wedding that they had ever been to. My husband and I will always remember our big day and appreciate how Kathryn and seven-degrees created our perfect wedding!

The service that we received from the [seven-degrees] team was 1st class. They made the wedding planning process extremely easy for us from the beginning to end. The venue itself was beautiful for our wedding ceremony and the reception. We had the ceremony on the rooftop and the ceremony inside. The weather was perfect and the setting was amazing for a 6pm start. We had about 130 guests at our wedding and they all have been raving about the setting, the food, the venue. Also, I believe we were their first same-sex marriage ceremony. Which made this extremely special for us. We wanted to be at a venue that was obviously gay-friendly and that would make us and our guests feel extremely comfortable. The staff during the process and the day of our wedding made us feel at home. I would recommend this team and venue to anyone! Thank you [seven-degrees] for an amazing experience!

The Seven Degrees team was absolutely the best! Kathryn was always there for the whole process when ever I needed her. The day of production team was awesome! Everyone was nice and brought everything together.

Where do I start? First, the winter decor at Seven Degrees is gorgeous! We had birch trees along the perimeter of the reception, hanging chandeliers and this beautiful chandelier laced entrance that just took my breath away! When I first walked into the reception room, I knew this was where I wanted to get married. The day of the wedding, the ceremony area looked beautiful, with the round lanterns and blush lighting and the reception room looked amazing--with the purple and blue uplighting and the winter decor! Everyone commented about how beautiful the space was and my husband and I both agree that the venue was just perfect for us! Now, on to Lauren--our out-of-this-world wedding coordinator! We met with her a few times to finalize all the details and she was really nice and easy to work with. The day of the wedding, she executed everything perfectly! It was so flawless I was not stressed for one second of the wedding day! The entire thing went off without a hitch and I know that it was because of Lauren's hard work! She is wonderful to work with and I can only hope that every bride gets a coordinator who is as organized and sweet!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The wedding ceremony and reception were absolutely spectacular and more than we could have hoped for. The food was amazing! Even the vendors commented on their meals, that it was the best they every had. The service was outstanding! Several guests told us it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they had attended. We had our wedding reception here in April. We live in Northern CA, and despite having to plan from a distance, the staff at 7 Degrees made the entire process streamlined and easy. We managed to plan with the coordinators with just a few conference calls and 2 site visits. We appreciated that they were willing to work with our budget. The one negative that sticks out in my mind was the $500 cost for menu tasting. I would expect this to be part of any wedding venue package. We opted not to do the tasting given the cost and relied on recommendations of coordinators instead. The food turned out fine the day of our wedding but we would have preferred to be able to do a tasting without being charged for it. The venue itself is modern with lots of great technical features (sound system, lighting, flat screen TVs on walls). On the day of our wedding, the coordinators made sure the timeline was followed and transitions were seamless. All in all, it was an unforgettable day for us. Thank you 7 Degrees!

I had my wedding here this past September, and to be quite honest, it was more than I could have imagined. My husband and I originally planned to have our wedding in November, but decided last minute to have it moved up. Seven-degrees was awesome about it! They worked with us on every single detail! From the moment we first went on a tour of the venue, to our departure on our wedding day, everything was perfect! The entire staff of Seven-Degrees was amazing. Professional, courteous, honest and trustworthy. I have to say that working with Katie in the beginning, to Cayla and Alyssa was such a wonderful experience. Our day of coordinator was Lauren. Terrific. Honestly, she handled everything! She was so genuine and sweet, that when it came to the day of, she felt like a good friend. Bravo to Seven-Degrees. You made one of the most important days of my life perfect!!!

[seven-degrees] was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding venue. Right when we got there for our first meeting we knew it was meant to be! The staff was always so nice and helpful yet so professional at the same time. They made us feel welcomed and that our wedding was actually important. The venue is great and convenient because it came with everything in house! Venue, food, flowers, lighting, and a wedding planner. We were so lucky to get Andi as our wedding coordinator. She was seriously the best thing that ever happened to us. She made everything I dreamed of come true. From every single detail to the T. It's like she read my mind! Andi was so cooperative and helpful. She was always there to help answer questions and give advice. She seriously made our wedding day flawless and easy! I was able to enjoy the day without worries because she took care of everything. If I could relive my wedding day, I definitely would because it was magically perfect at [seven-degrees].

Let me start by saying that I was planning two weddings for our families. One in Laguna Beach for my side and one in Long Branch NJ near to were my husband grew up. This is not an easy task for someone who hadn't never planned an event for more than 30 people. Needless to say I had a lot on my plate. Seven-Degrees took the vision for our wedding and blew it up! Everything was above and beyond. Seriously, above and beyond. I actually cried ( joyful tears) when I saw the reception space. I thought I had a pretty wedding and party coming, but they gave me the party of my dreams. The lighting, the food, the artwork, it was perfect. I was planning from the east coast so our phone conversations and only two in person meetings were what we had to work with. AND THEY NAILED IT! There were a few glitches, what wedding doesn't have them, and every step of the way Andi Gordon, was there. She not only answered my families questions over and over and over again (probably the same three questions) she smoothed out any chance of disappointment for me. Played buffer to our awful DJ (it happens) , she ran her butt off making sure my husband and I had a wonderful time and we did. Alyssa (I might have misspelled her name) did an amazing job on the flowers, they were stunning and more than I could have asked for. Everyone from the bartenders, the servers, to the clean up crew were so nice and accommodating they made our day that much more special. There were many more people involved and I may not remember their names, but THANK YOU. Thank you for going above and beyond to make our CA wedding so beautiful and memorable. I cant wait to see our pictures! I believe a truly wonderful crew starts with the person at the helm. Dora, you have an amazing crew and a stunning venue! Thank you so much for everything. xo

My husband and I wed in August 10, 2013 and we are very pleased that we chose such a wonderful venue and reception. Everything was just memorable! From the upstairs ceremony at sunset to the beautifully decorated reception area. All of our guests was amazed with the Chef and his staff for producing such an wonderful menu for us and our guests. They were also very accommodating to our guests' requests and allergies/intolerances. This venue is a one stop shop. And that's fantastic since we only had 3-4 months to tie the knot! And all the vendors we chose from their list was very professional and passionate about what they do. I love our photographer, Nicole Caldwell. She is such a wonderful person! Our wedding planner, Keviann, was organized and really helped move the wedding along smoothly. From arriving guests to ceremony time to hors d'eouvres and cocktail time to introductions to dinner time, cake time, taco bar time, etc.etc.etc. I highly recommend Seven Degrees to anyone who loves being in the canyon, local art, and simply wants a stress-free wedding! I cannot begin to say how happy I was with seven-degrees. Keviann was my coordinator and she thought of everything, and made sure that there was not a thing missed. The decor is beautiful, the food was PHENOMENAL (not like normal wedding food-the sea bass is to die for). The planning part was easy, and the night of the wedding went without a hitch. Even if there was one, no one knew. Someone broke a glass, I turned around, and when I turned back around it was completely cleaned up-they were on top of everything! Very friendly staff as well and everyone was very helpful. You can't get this type of service without a price, though, and seven-degrees was definitely a bit more pricey in comparison. In my opinion to make my night perfect- it was worth every penny. I would recommend anyone throwing an event to pay that little extra!! Thank you Keviann, and the entire staff!

To say that this venue is amazing is a understatement. I had my wedding and reception here in October and everything from the initial meeting to the final send off was perfect -- and I mean perfect. There were no glitches, no delays, no headaches, no worry -- and if there were I didn't know about it. Keviann, my wedding coordinator with 7 degrees was outstanding. She was a true professional, she got my dream wedding vision and made it come true. The venue itself was state of the art, from lighting to sound. My wedding ceremony was held on the upstairs terrace overlooking the canyon on one side and the zen garden on the other with a lovely fountain. They quickly rearranged the wedding ceremony location into a trendy cocktail lounge for before dinner cocktails and delicious tray passed hors d'oeuvres while my husband and I were wisked away for photos. The reception sit down dinner was downstairs in the media lounge which they transformed into an elegent dinner venue. I cannot say enough about the food. During our prewedding tasting I couldn't believe how delicious the food was and guests, 7 months later, are still raving that they have never had better food at a wedding or any social event. Their bar service was quick and top shelf. The wait staff were not only efficient but extremely friendly and accommodating. The entire staff of 7 degrees from start to finish couldn't have been better. They worked with all my vendors to take away any additional stress that I or my family would have encountered during the planning and execution. I could continue with this review for ever and go into every detail but I'll sum it up with just a few words. If you are having any doubts about 7 degrees, DON'T. They are first class and will make your vision a reality. I can't thank Keviann enough, she is a rock star!

When we were looking at venues for our wedding, Seven Degrees really stood out to us. It was unique and beautiful-not a typical hotel ballroom. Once we chose Seven Degrees for our reception space, we had a few meetings over the course of one year to plan and make sure all of the details for our big day were in order. The wedding coordinator that worked with us at Seven Degrees was so on top of things, I didn't have to worry about anything on the day-of my wedding. Once we arrived, we were blown away by how everything was decorated, the amazing food and service from the entire staff. We felt so special on our wedding day and are so happy we got to celebrate in our dream venue-Seven Degrees!

Seven-Degrees was our ultimate wedding reception venue. There’s nothing but praise I have to say about the Seven-Degrees team. It was an amazing dream come true to be able to have our wedding reception at Seven-Degrees. Seven-Degrees was only our second venue that we visited and we know from the second we stepped foot on the venue that we just had to have our wedding reception at this location. My husband and I were impressed by the modern and contemporary feel of the venue. It’s located in a hidden spot on Laguna Canyon road and from the outside, you may not think there’s anything special with the location but once you start stepping in and noticing the details, the architecture, and the layout, you know how special the venue really is. The modern and artsy theme fit well with the feel of our wedding. When we left there from our visit and tour, my husband and I couldn’t stop thinking about Seven-Degrees and all that the venue had to offer for a wedding reception. We were blown away and the more we thought about the place, the more we realized we needed to have our reception there. The tour we had just impressed the heck out of us. It is such a versatile location and you can treat it as a blank canvas to do anything you want there with your reception. At the same time, they have all of the state-of-the-art technology that is ready to be incorporated into your reception to make the end result out-of-this-world. There are so many different layers and textures within the venue itself which makes for an awesome time and great photographs. I was so pleased to have booked my wedding reception at Seven Degrees. They were very accommodating in making my special a day/night to remember. I will admit, this place cost us a pretty penny, but was worth every penny. Our guests loved the place and we received so many compliments on the decor as well as the food. I cannot wait to see our photos and video! you will not be disappointed with this place. Our coordinator Keviann was with me from beginning to end in helping me plan our day, and she did a phenomenal job!

The venue is beautiful and Elizabeth the wedding coordinator is the best. She goes above and beyond to make your wedding wonderful. La Palapa Del Mar is a hidden gem. All of my guests were amazed at how beautiful the Del Mar room was, It feels like you are in Europe. It is over looking the beach so your guests will enjoy a wonderful view of the ocean and a great sunset. The food is AMAZING! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding venue to check the La Palapa Del Mar room out, and be sure to ask for Elizabeth! Joelle

We decided on seven degrees because we did not want the conventional and traditional hotel ballroom, there's is an open space, modern type art gallery. Their sound system and lighting is awesome. Although having your wedding at seven degrees may not be cheap (just depends what it is you want), it is well worth it. They truly went above and beyond, service was exceptional, everyone raved about the food and service. Keviann was our coordinator and she and the rest of her colleagues really did an excellent job.

[seven-degrees] is incredible and I couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. The staff really took care of us and made sure to answer all our questions. We received so many compliments on how beautiful the wedding was and how much fun they had. The ceremony site was breath-taking- I am so glad I took a moment to look around at the beauty of everything before walking down the isle. The reception was amazing with all the lights and sound system. It made our DJ's job much easier and he was able to do video mixing...a huge PLUS!! I cannot wait to get the photos back - I know they will be amazing!!

The staff were amazing even in crises! ( our videographer almost never showed) Keviann Is phenomenal and truly a godsend. Overall the wedding was amazing and they kept in contact throughout the whole process and worked out every detail and were very patient with me when I was very indecisive. Not to mention all of our guests raved about the amazing food and how beautiful every little detail was, it truly looked like my wedding could be in a magazine. I couldn't have asked for a better staff, food, or location. Thanks everyone!

This is the perfect venue if you are looking for a place that is non-traditional. The modern decor and hillside ambiances are amazing. Alyssa and Kevian were both amazing and were able to accommodate our busy schedules with afterhours meetings. The day of services were impeccable. Alyssa was always there to make sure I was doing well and if I needed anything. They played a big role in making sure the day events ran smoothly and on time leaving us with time to really enjoy our day!

Where do I begin :) !! I had such an amzing experience here..My wedding was on Sunday August 21st 2011. I worked with Dora in the beginning to work out a price that will fit my budget. Not only did they work with me by doing a Sunday which was perfect anyway the comped me many things to help as my budget was tight. Dora the director was so friendly and the venue is so gorgeous. It is a blank canvas for you to create the wedding of your dreams. They do EVERYTHING there for you so that means you literally just choose what you want and they take it from there. The sky is the limit they do it all from the cake to the flowers to the amazing lighting which is done by a technician through the wedding, A Coordinator is INCLUDED which was so wonderful we chatted therough the whole year emailing each other when I would have any questions Alyssa was there and the day of she was there to organize and run everything I had no worries whatsoever..The Food! WOW! so many compliments on the food from our guests..the linens tables etc. You dont have to go through the pain of having to rent anything at all. It was so nice. They are so professional helpful and kind. My wedding looked like a dream..literally.. when I walked in to see it for the first time it took my breath away. They are the best EVER and I will refer everyone I can to them.

This venue is beautiful. It has a great atmosphere for couples wanting a wedding reception with a sophisticated feeling. However, it comes with a large price tag and the service was mediocre.

We looked at like 15 different venues and we loved 7 degrees the moment we got there. it's a beautiful and modern venue with state of the art lighting and sound. it's pricy though...especially the alcohol packages or if you want to rent any of their equipment. i'm sure their in-house florist is amazing, but there are cheaper options out there. their wedding coordinators help you with questions regarding the venue and take care of almost everything on the day of. food is superb. so glad i picked this venue over other venues. very unique.

BUT COORDINATORS DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THEIR DUCKS IN A ROW.

This place is a wedding heaven, no joke! From day one, the staff was so nice in helping book a date and work around my budget (which was on the small side). No pretention, snobbish attitude, very friendly and warm environement. THe best thing about this small gallery is the fact that they have all the staff you might need for your wedding day: they provide catering, bakery, florist, photographers, DJs, wedding coordinator, videographers....anything you might need! I had them cater the dinner, and worked with their florist and wedding coordinators (two amazing young ladies!). The food was exquisite, I'm a huge foodie and I attest to that, rarely do I go to awedding adn actually enjoy the food, and that night EVERYONE was raving about how yummy it was! Flowers and decor: WOW! So creative and artistic, they have three drop down screens to project small movies or a presentation (my best friend used one for her for speech). Lso they have two poles with 4 screens on each to loop pictures all night (engagement session pics would are perfect for this) I had cupcakes as my wedding cake and the cupcakes were on a clear two layered plexiglass display, HANGING from the ceiling, absolutely magical effect! And you spend the night dancing with some beaitful artwork hanging on the walls and custom lighting that create a warm and fun ambiance. Last but not least, the tweo girls that put all this together were just so nice to work with, always calm and reassuring and making sure to help you achieve your vision of a wedding on that special day!

loved the table decor and setting of flowers in the dinner area.;I was disappointed with the ceremony flowers. It was not what itwas on the pictures for the amount I paid. My wedding party flowers were ot what I showed her and the flowers I asked for my bouquet were changed last minute. I must say make sure to have them give you a sample of how your bridal party bride flowers will look before hand.

The venue was edgy and modern. All of the fixtures are perfect. This venue is not the typical wedding venue. There was a proffesional lighting and sound system. The staff is the very professional. The coordinator Alyssa was the best.
