Shady Brook Acres

This was the first venue we looked at after we got engaged and instantly fell in love with it! We booked it the next day and couldn't have been happier. We had an August wedding and everything on the property was beautiful. The owner was responsive to any questions, flexible to what the couple wants, and has fair pricing without adding extra fees. She even built an online community for other brides getting married at the same location so we can exchange questions and ideas - so helpful! Also gave a very good list of preferred vendors and that was extremely helpful. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Vendor was very kind and friendly. We felt she was honest and worked with us including allowing us in the cottage before the technical contracts allowed time so we could get ready sooner. She offered payment options and a small refund if nothing got damaged. Anytime I called or text she replied and was always okay with us viewing the venue more when we needed/wanted. The venue itself is huge if you count the fact that you get the outside as well as the inside barn. Perfect for a rustic style wedding. She also had a lot of decorations ready for a rustic wedding so we got to buy a little less but have a beautiful wedding still. We didn't have any bad experiences with this venue and wouldn't change it even if we could. She continues to be upgrade the place and does it all by hand/self which is amazing! Everything there is just so stunning. The entire staff was awesome and helped watch over our wedding and guest to make sure no issues arose or that they could help when if we needed anything!

Anne & her team were awesome! The venue is amazing and she is constantly putting more work into it and making it even more beautiful! They have tons of decorations available for you to use for your wedding. I would definitely recommend this venue!

I cannot rave enough about this place, we knew the first time we visited that it had to be where my fiance and I got married. The venue was gorgeous for our outdoor June wedding! We especially chose this place for the pond, the greenery, the lavender accents, and the pavilion for the ceremony. The photo opportunities were endless for us and our guests! (which many of them enjoyed taking during the reception). The barn for the reception was beautiful and airconditioned which was perfect for a summer wedding. Many of the decorations were also included which was very helpful! We loved that we could make all the choices about the vendors and do exactly what we wanted and fit into our budget. Anne was very accommodating and quickly responded to messages or questions that we had. We were especially grateful that she helped my 93-year-old grandma get around in a golf cart to the ceremony and reception so that she was safe and didn't have to walk far. I also loved that she has a bride's group to help other brides at the venue share ideas and help each other out! It was also so helpful that the cleaning service was included.
